Claims (9)

  1. Lap guiding device for guiding a lap (3), comprising a side frame (18) and a cover hood (24) and a pressure roller (8) and a lower lap inlet (14), which comprises a lower cover (15) and a lower lap guide (16) that is at a distance from the lower cover (15) in the region of the lap (3) to be guided, and comprising an upper lap inlet (10), which comprises an upper cover (11) and an upper lap guide (12) that is at a distance from the upper cover (11) in the region of the lap (3) to be guided, the upper lap guide (12) being connected to the lower lap guide (16) by a flexible element (17), characterized in that the upper cover (11) is fastened in the lap guiding device independently of the upper lap guide (12) by means of a retaining device, the retaining device being provided for fastening the upper cover (11) in the side frame (18) or to the cover hood (24) or to the pressure roller (8).
  2. Lap guiding device according to claim 1, characterized in that a shaft (19) is provided in the side frame (18) for pivotally retaining the upper lap guide (12), the retaining device comprising a shaft clamp (20) for fastening the upper cover (11) in the side frame (18).
  3. Lap guiding device according to claim 2, characterized in that a recess (21) that is at a distance from the shaft (19) is provided in the side frame, and in that the retaining device comprises a cam (22) corresponding to the recess (21), the retaining device being rotatably retained on the shaft (19) and the upper cover (11) being retained in the side frame (18) in a fixed manner by the cam (22) engaging in the recess (21) in the side frame (18).
  4. Lap guiding device according to claim 3, characterized in that the recess (21) in the side frame (18) is provided in the form of a slot, the depth of which corresponds to a height of the cam (22) and the shape of which corresponds to a rotational movement of the cam (22) about the shaft.
  5. Lap guiding device according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining device comprises a retainer (23) for fastening the upper cover (11) to the cover hood (24) and the upper cover (11) is formed by screws or a clip-like connection for fastening to the retainer (23) of the cover hood (24).
  6. Lap guiding device according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining device comprises a fixing (26) for being attached to the pressure roller (8) in a rotationally fixed manner.
  7. Lap guiding device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper cover (11) is provided with reinforcing ribs (27).
  8. Lap guiding device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper cover (11) and the lower cover (15) and the upper lap guide (12) and lower lap guide (16) each have a sliding surface having low static friction on one side facing one another.
  9. Combing machine comprising a lap guiding device according to at least one of the preceding claims.
