Definitions

  • the invention relates to a packaging for receiving piece goods, in particular outer packaging for a plurality of smaller packages for automatic removal of the smaller packages, flattened folding boxes or the like.
  • the present invention is based on the object of creating a cardboard packaging which is also suitable for multiple use and yet allows automatic removal of the individual packages.
  • the packaging has a base and four side walls hinged thereto, openings being provided in the two opposite narrow sides and an insert having the features of claim 1 being provided in the packaging.
  • the individual packages contained can be compressed mechanically through the openings and then lifted and removed by a gripper.
  • the recesses are essentially oval, whereby two rows of recesses can be provided, which in turn can be of different lengths.
  • the recesses are arranged on the narrow sides of the packaging. This does not impair the stability of the packaging on the critical long sides.
  • the floor is formed from four floor wall sections each hinged to the side walls.
  • the insert according to the invention forms a compartment.
  • Such a compartment divides the individual packaging. Different individual packaging is separated. It also makes it easier to remove the individual packaging. In addition, the compartments and packaging stabilize each other.
  • the partition also has a division in the vertical direction.
  • the packaging can then be stacked several times on top of each other. None stands in the way of multiple reuse.
  • the bottom of the packaging is double or multi-layered.
  • the packaging is made of corrugated cardboard.
  • Corrugated cardboard is generally more stable and durable than normal cardboard. It is possible to use different types of cardboard with and without corrugation.
  • Fig.1 a cut-out of an outer packaging to accommodate several individual packages.
  • This blank consists of a first longitudinal side wall 2, to which a narrow side wall 3 is hinged. At the side facing away from the first longitudinal side wall 2 A second longitudinal side wall 4 is hinged to the end of the narrow side wall 3, followed by a second narrow side wall 5. A closure strip 6 is hinged to the free end of the narrow side wall 5.
  • a first bottom wall flap 7 is hinged to the long side edge of the first long side wall 2.
  • a second bottom wall flap 8 is hinged to the long side edge of the first narrow side wall 3, adjacent to the bottom wall flap 7.
  • a third bottom wall flap 9 is hinged to the long side edge of the second long side wall 4.
  • a fourth bottom wall flap 10 is hinged to the long side edge of the second narrow side wall 5.
  • the free longitudinal side edges of the base wall flaps 8 and 10 are designed in such a way that they abut one another when the packaging is in the upright state or, as shown in this embodiment, interlock with one another.
  • the longitudinal side edges are equipped with projections 11 and corresponding recesses 12 that can engage with one another.
  • the flaps 8 and 10 are placed on the floor wall flaps 7 and 9, which reinforce and stabilize the floor.
  • the two tabs 8 and 10 are aligned with each other by the projections 11 and the recesses 12 engaging with each other. In addition, a straight line of force is avoided. This makes the floor even more stable.
  • Recesses 13 and 14 are provided in the narrow side walls 3 and 5, which in this embodiment are each designed as elongated holes with rounded corners.
  • the recesses 13 have a shorter length than the recesses 14.
  • the recesses 13 and 14 are arranged vertically one above the other. Several of both recesses are provided on each narrow side wall. In the present embodiment, six recesses 13 and 14 are provided, each of which is arranged in groups of two.
  • a double-walled version of the blank for the outer packaging can be provided, as shown in Fig.2 is shown.
  • This blank 21 consists of a first longitudinal side wall 22, to which a narrow side wall 23 is hinged. On the side of the narrow side wall 23 facing away from the first longitudinal side wall 22, a second longitudinal side wall 24 is hinged, followed by a second narrow side wall 25. A closure strip 26 is hinged to the free end of the narrow side wall 25.
  • a first bottom wall flap 27 is hinged to the long side edge of the first long side wall 22.
  • a second bottom wall flap 27 is hinged to the long side edge of the first narrow side wall 23, adjacent to the bottom wall flap 27.
  • a third bottom wall flap 29 is hinged to the long side edge of the second long side wall 24.
  • a fourth bottom wall flap 30 is hinged to the long side edge of the second narrow side wall 25.
  • the bottom wall flaps 28 and 30 are designed on their free longitudinal side edges in such a way that they abut one another when the packaging is in the upright state or, as shown in this embodiment, interlock with one another.
  • the longitudinal side edges are equipped with projections 31 and corresponding recesses 32 which can engage with one another.
  • the construction corresponds to that of the first embodiment.
  • narrow side walls 33 and 35 are arranged on the still free longitudinal edges of the narrow side walls 23 and 25, which are mirror images of the narrow side walls 23 and 25.
  • the narrow side walls 33 and 35 are folded inwards into the outer packaging, thus doubling the narrow side walls 23 and 25.
  • Recesses 13 and 14 are provided in the narrow side walls 23 and 25, and 33 and 35, respectively.
  • the blank 41 consists of two side wall sections 42 and 43, which correspond to the narrow sides 3 and 5 and 23 and 25 respectively. Also in the side wall sections 42 and 43, recesses 13 and 14 are provided which, in the erected outer packaging, are congruent with the recesses 13 and 14 of the narrow side walls 3 and 5 or 23 and 25.
  • the side wall sections 42 and 43 are connected to one another by two central webs 44.
  • a doubling section 45 is arranged between the central webs and lies on the side wall sections 42 and 43, respectively.
  • central bars are spaced apart from each other so that when erected, three compartments of approximately the same size are formed. Other divisions are conceivable.
  • the central webs 44 are equipped with projections 46 which can engage in corresponding recesses 47 of the side wall sections 42 and 43 when erected.
  • the central webs 44 and 45 can also be connected to one another via a base wall section. This can be arranged at the lower end of the side wall sections 42 and 43. A higher arrangement is also conceivable, so that a division in the vertical direction also results.
  • the bottom wall section can be provided over partial areas of the central webs 44 and 45 but also over their entire length.
  • the rectangle resulting from the central webs 44 and the doublings 45 in the erected state is closed by means of an adhesive tab 48.
  • the projections 46 can be designed in such a way that they can also engage in recesses 16 in the narrow sides 3 and 5 or 23 and 25 or their doubling 33 and 35. However, this is not mandatory.
  • the recesses 16 are often omitted in order to ensure greater stability of the packaging.
  • the recesses 16 can be designed as slots so that the compartment can be easily removed from the outer packaging without having to unhook the projections 46.
