Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a set of components according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • EP-A-178 717 shows a packaging of the type mentioned which has sufficient strength for the storage, transport and presentation of goods.
  • Four cornerstones which are firmly attached to the floor and the side walls, give it the stability it requires. All four sides of the packaging are largely open for the presentation of goods, so that the goods are accessible to a buyer from all sides. Since in this known packaging the goods are accessible from all sides even during storage and transport, they are not suitable for sensitive goods, such as stacks of paper sheets, the individual sheets of which can be damaged on the edges if handled carelessly.
  • edge-damaged sheets are not reliably detected by the feed of a copying machine and lead to malfunctions.
  • EP-A-266 321 shows a box that is basically the same.
  • two opposite side walls are closed to protect the goods.
  • a glued-on lid with perforation lines closes the open sides.
  • the lid part bounded by the perforation lines is torn away, after which the goods are easily accessible.
  • this known tear-open solution is only suitable for thin cardboard boxes, since otherwise the effort required to open it is too great and the course of the crack is undefined.
  • Delicate goods such as paper sheets require boxes made of thick cardboard so that they cannot be damaged on the edges when the packaging is opened and cannot become unusable.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a package, in particular for copy paper, in which the paper is easy to insert and remove, and which, compared to today's packaging, are easy to handle and carry.
  • the invention further provides for the packaging to be designed in such a way that it can be mechanically emptied.
  • the example of a component set shown below has a box blank 1, a lid blank 2, two end wall blanks 3, 3 'and a cover blank 4.
  • the box blank 1 is described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
  • a rectangular base part 5 made of cardboard or the like, which is delimited on its end faces by straight fold lines 6, 7 following fold grooves. These run parallel to the Y axis of a rectangular coordinate network placed on the blank.
  • the base part 5 can preferably, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 7 and 8, be provided with an opening 5 'which is radially symmetrical with respect to its center.
  • the two long sides of the Bottom part 5 can be recognized by two fold grooves which coincide with two fold lines 8, 9 parallel to the X axis.
  • the fold lines 8, 9 separate two side wall parts 13, 14 which are symmetrical with respect to the X-axis from the base part 5, with which they are also made in one piece.
  • the height h1 of the side wall parts 13, 14 is greater than the height h2 of the glue flaps 10, 11.
  • the side wall parts 13, 14 merge at the end with fold lines 6, 17 parallel to the Y axis into stiffening and spacing tabs 15, each of which in turn passes through three fold lines 18, 19, 20 parallel to the Y axis is divided into four sections a to d.
  • the sections a and c have the same width and the section d is a glue fold for a firm connection to the side wall part 13 and 14 respectively , they form a tubular body with a rectangular cross section.
  • the glue fold d comes to rest with the associated side wall section 13 or 14 and can be glued to it or otherwise attached to it.
  • the tabs 15 can also be divided differently. It is sufficient that they are designed in such a way that they can perform their stiffening and spacing function when folded into the box and that their mutually facing sides are spaced apart from one another by at least half the width of the base part 5.
  • the tabs 15 When forming the box, the tabs 15 are first bent into their tubular shape and then the side wall parts 13, 14 are pivoted upwards at right angles.
  • the glue flaps 10, 11 are then folded up and firmly connected to the adjoining section a of the stiffening and spacing flaps by gluing or the like.
  • Loose sheets can now be stacked in such a box, being centered between the mutually facing sections c and the glue folds (sections d).
  • the fact that at least one of the two glue flaps 10, 11 is lower than the side wall parts 13, 14 makes it easier to insert and remove the sheets.
  • the box blank 1 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 to 3 in that the stiffening and spacing tab 15 is not interrupted by fold grooves. It consists, as it were, of section a. The distance of the glue flaps 10, 11 to the sheet stack located in the box is thereby reduced. However, it is sufficient to create a reliable handle in connection with the openings 12 in the glue flaps 10, 11.
  • the advantage of this embodiment is the shorter overall length of the box.
  • a clip-on cover 2 is provided, the shape and cut of which is shown in FIGS. 1 and 4.
  • the blank 2 comprises a rectangular cover part 21 which is delimited by fold lines parallel to the X and Y axes. It is surrounded by cover side parts 22, 23 which are made in one piece with it and separated by fold lines.
  • the longitudinal cover side parts 23 continue at the ends in tabs 24, which in turn are delimited by fold lines (parallel to the Y axis).
  • the glue flaps 24 come into contact with the front cover side parts 22 and are firmly connected to them.
  • the lid If the lid is placed on the box and firmly connected to it (by strapping, strapping or the like), the lid can be gripped by hand between the facing sections b of the stiffening and spacing tabs 15 and easily handled in this way, in particular with two Hands are worn.
  • the component set preferably has two end wall cuts 3, 3 '. These are slightly narrower than the bottom part 5 of the box blank 1. Their height is equal to or less than that (h1) of the side wall parts 13, 14.
  • the loose leaves can be easily removed and then protected again.
  • the latter has a grip tab 25 with a handle-like opening 26.
  • the grip tab 25 is separated from the end wall section 28 by a fold line 27 and can be folded inwards when inserted.
  • the end wall blanks 3, 3 ' can be constructed from double or multiple layers of cardboard, cardboard or the like and can therefore be relatively thick.
  • recesses or openings may be present opposite the openings 12. This creates more space for manual gripping of the box on the glue tabs 11, 12.
  • the gripping tab 25 on the front wall cut 3, 3 'can be omitted, since it can be easily grasped at these recesses or openings for sliding out of the box .
  • a cover blank 4 additionally protects the loose-leaf stack packed in the box upwards. It consists of one rectangular cover part 29. Its length and width are smaller than that of the bottom part 5 and are dimensioned such that it can be placed on a loose-leaf stack with sufficient play between the side wall parts 13, 14 or the sections c of the stiffening and spacing tabs 15 and nevertheless adequately covered it. To facilitate its removal, it is provided with a gripping flap 30 delimited by a fold line, which can be folded flat onto the cover part 29 before the lid is placed on the box.
  • the opening 5 'already mentioned in the base part 5 of the box blank 1 can be prepared permanently or by a suitable perforation in the box blank.
  • the box can be mechanically emptied through this opening 5 ', which must be at least approximately axially to the vertical central axis of the box.
  • it is placed on a rectangular frame that forms a horizontal storage level and supports the box bottom in the edge area.
  • a horizontal plate 32 is axially and vertically displaceable (Fig. 7).
  • the plate 32 located below the support plane is displaced vertically upwards (FIG. 8), gradually lifting the loose-leaf stack, which now rests on the plate 32, out of the box.
  • the sheets of the stack emerging from the top of the box are now accessible from all sides and can be separated manually or mechanically without any problems.
  • the component set additionally has a partition wall blank 33, as shown in FIG. 1 with dash-dotted lines.
  • the dividing wall section is therefore preferably designed (analogously to the end wall blanks 3, 3 ') like a slide which can be pulled out or inserted.
