Definitions

  • the invention relates to a swivel joint for movably connecting two beams of a wooden trestle, the swivel joint having a first element which can be connected to one of the beams and a second element which can be connected to the other beam, the two elements having at least one Bolt by one
  • Rotation axis of the bolt are rotatably connected to each other.
  • Work trestles of this type usually have a work support supported by a plurality of feet, in order to place a workpiece stably on the work support of a work trestle or the work supports of several
  • the longitudinal extension of the feet is usually oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the work rest, in a transport position in which the longitudinal extension of the stand is usually parallel to the longitudinal extension of the work rest
  • document DE 20 2005 012 240 U1 discloses a work trestle whose feet are each rotatably connected to the work support by a screw relative to a work support.
  • a stand In a working position, a stand is positively gripped by a height-adjustable clamp, so that the stand rotates is prevented. By lifting the clamp, the base is released for rotation so that it can be rotated 90 ° into a transport position.
  • the aforementioned requirements for robustness and resilience relate in particular to swivel joints which enable a base to be rotated relative to a work support of a work trestle.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a rotary joint of the type mentioned, which has a high level of robustness and resilience, in particular with regard to changing acting forces, the
  • Swivel joint is suitable for movably connecting two beams of a work trestle, and which enables simple and flexible handling by a user.
  • the object is achieved according to the invention in that, in the case of a swivel joint of the type mentioned at the outset, the two elements are connected to one another in a frictional manner by means of an elastic deformation of at least one spring component, so that rotation of the first element relative to the second element is a predetermined one
  • Connecting the two elements by means of an elastic deformation of at least one spring component enables a necessary torque in order to bring about a rotation of the first element relative to the second element to be selectively adjustable. In particular, this prevents an undesired rotation of the first element relative to the second element from occurring under loads acting on the swivel joint below the set torque.
  • the torque required for turning can be matched to a particular application, for example
  • the first element can be rotated relative to the second element by a user into a desired rotational position, it being ensured that the rotational position is maintained even when external loads of low intensity are applied, for example when a device, such as a work trestle, is carried around.
  • a fundamental advantage of a frictional connection of the two elements is the high robustness achieved as a result, since forces are transmitted from one element to the other element without play. Because the frictional connection takes place by means of an elastic deformation of a spring component, in particular a robustness with respect to changing forces acting on an element is further increased.
  • Spring component acts as a damping element due to its elastic behavior. In this way, for example, force peaks acting on the damping element can be reduced.
  • the first element and the second element can be connected directly or indirectly by friction in order to implement a frictional connection between the first element and the second element.
  • a further component is connected to one of the elements and that component is frictionally connected to the other element.
  • the spring component for example, which effects the frictional connection between the two elements, can be arranged between the first element and the second element.
  • An axis of rotation about which the first element can be rotated relative to the second element is defined by a bolt to which the two elements are connected.
  • This can be implemented in a simple manner, for example, in that the first element and the second element each have a bore through which the bolt is passed and movably connects the two elements.
  • the two elements can expediently be positively connected by the bolt, as a result of which the two elements can be rotated relative to one another in a robust manner.
  • the bolt has one or more varying outer diameters in order to positively connect the two elements, in particular in a direction of the axis of rotation or longitudinal axis of the bolt.
  • the bolt can be used, for example, as a collar bolt, Screw, threaded rod or pin.
  • An outer diameter of the bolt can be varied, for example, by the bolt having at least one thread onto which at least one nut is screwed.
  • a widening of the outer diameter can also be implemented in that the bolt has a transverse bore, transverse or angled to its longitudinal axis, through which a pin is inserted and, in particular, is connected to the bolt in a form-fitting, force-fitting or material-locking manner, the pin being one or both sides Exceeds the outer surface of the bolt. It is advantageous if the two elements are connected in such a way that rotating the first element relative to the second element requires a substantially constant predetermined torque. It is thereby achieved that a torque to be used in order to rotate the first element relative to the second element is independent of an angle of rotation between the two elements, as a result of which the swivel joint can be operated particularly easily and in particular safely by a user.
  • the spring component is elastically deformed between the first element and the second element by a force acting approximately in the direction of the axis of rotation of the bolt.
  • a frictional engagement caused by the elastic deformation of the spring component can be set in a simple manner by means of a force which acts or can be applied between the first element and the second element, for example a pressing force between the two elements.
  • a simple constructive and robust construction of the swivel joint can thereby also be achieved, since a force can be applied between the two elements by the same components which stabilize an axis of rotation of the swivel joint.
  • the force between the two elements can be implemented in a simple manner in that the bolt opposes the two elements due to the elastic deformation of the
  • the spring component causes the restoring force.
  • the spring component can expediently be arranged, for example, between the two elements.
  • the spring element is arranged on a side of an element facing away from the other element.
  • the spring element is better protected against loads.
  • the spring element can be arranged between an element and a region of the bolt with a widened outside diameter, for example a nut screwed onto the bolt.
  • the aforementioned arrangement options of a spring element also include an arrangement of a plurality of spring elements, in particular according to the aforementioned arrangement options. For example, it can be advantageous to arrange several spring elements in series or parallel to one another and / or several
  • the spring component is elastically deformed in the direction of an axis of rotation of the bolt.
  • elastic restoring forces of the spring component which deviate from a direction of the axis of rotation of the bolt or an axis of rotation of the swivel joint, are avoided, so that a high stability of the axis of rotation of the swivel joint can be achieved.
  • a structure with high robustness that can be produced with little effort is achieved in particular if the spring component is elastically deformed by a force acting in the direction of the axis of rotation of the bolt between the first element and the second element and a frictional connection between the two elements is achieved by a frictional connection between two essentially perpendicularly surfaces aligned to the axis of rotation is produced.
  • forces are efficiently transmitted between the elements and a high degree of rotation stability is implemented in a simple manner.
  • the spring component is arranged in a form-fitting manner around a section of the bolt such that movement of the spring component in a direction transverse to a longitudinal axis of the bolt is only possible to a limited extent. This avoids possible undesirable displacements or slipping of the spring component even with larger loads and vibrations of the swivel joint.
  • the spring component can expediently have, for example, a through opening or a borehole through which the bolt is guided in order to arrange the spring component in a form-fitting manner around the bolt.
