In den Figuren 1, 2 und 3 ist ein mit einer Verdichtungsvorrichtung 1 ausgestattetes Streckwerk 2 dargestellt. Das Streckwerk 2 weist zwei im Abstand nebeneinander angeordnete erste, zweite und dritte Walzenpaare 15, 16, 17 auf, zwischen denen ein zwischen den Walzen der Walzenpaare 15, 16, 17 hindurchgeführtes Faserband aufgrund von voneinander abweichenden Umlaufgeschwindigkeiten der Walzenpaare 15, 16, 17 verstreckt bzw. verzogen wird. Claims (6)

  1. Compacting device (1) for a drafting system (2) of a spinning machine, in particular a ring spinning machine, for compacting a drafted sliver, comprising a compacting zone, in which a suction flow is produced perpendicularly to the fibre transport direction by means of a suction opening (4), wherein the compacting device (1) comprises a suction shoe having the suction opening (4), a compacting apron (5) which wraps around an output top roller (7) and the suction shoe (3) in the region of the suction opening (4) and has defined through-openings (6) which are permeable to the suction flow, and an output bottom roller (8) which bears against the compacting apron (5) in the region of the output top roller (7), with a compacting element (9) having a guide roller (10), which can be arranged in the region of the compacting zone opposite the suction opening (4) so as to be rotatable in the fibre transport direction that the sliver comes into engagement with the guide roller (10), wherein the guide roller (10) in engagement with the sliver presses the sliver - in relation to the transport direction of the sliver - against the compacting apron (5) in the region in front of the pair of output rollers of the compacting device (1) formed by the output top roller (7) and output bottom roller (8).
