Definitions

  • the invention relates to a packaging comprising, on the one hand, a container, plastic, comprising side walls meeting in corners, an upper opening and a bottom, and on the other hand, a lid, plastic, detachable configured to cover the top opening of the container.
  • the field of the invention is that of the packaging of powdered products, in the food and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • the powders concerned may be Sorbitol NEOSORB ® , Maltitol SWEETPEARL ® , Xylitol XYLISORB ® , Mannitol PEARLITOL ® etc.
  • the powders concerned may be Sorbitol NEOSORB ® , Maltitol SWEETPEARL ® , Xylitol XYLISORB ® , Mannitol PEARLITOL ® etc.
  • these products are packaged in packaging that includes a cardboard box body, typically a " kraft box " or more rarely a "kraft drum".
  • the " kraft box " is essentially made up of a pre-cut and folded cardboard blank, with an automatic bottom, allowing the blank to be stored in a substantially flat position when not in use, and its expansion by unfolding the automatic bottom.
  • the kraft drum has the drawback of being more expensive, in particular due to the use of metal strapping, and of being bulky when not in use, namely that it cannot be folded flat when Not used.
  • the powdered product is placed inside the box body, inside a hermetically sealed flexible bag.
  • a first problem with these paper packagings is that they generate fibres, which represents a troublesome source of pollution for certain sensitive industries which would like to isolate this type of fibrous pollution.
  • insects are also required to be transported, in containers, by ship, over long distances, and come into contact with insects.
  • a second problem encountered is that of the non-sealing of the box body against insects, which can even develop in the cardboard embossing of the box body during the delivery time, with penetration of insects into the internal volume. Occasionally we find insects of the Thysanoptera type trapped in the inter-space between the flexible bag and the body of the box, inside the latter.
  • a third problem with such paper packaging is their fragility, this being able to tear during impacts, or when they are subjected to excessive stress, for example when stacked, on top of each other. It is also important to point out that the packaging of such powdered products must not degrade the specificities of said powders which may have, as an important characteristic sought, for example a particular texture, a texture which must not be degraded during delivery in because of transport movements and friction generated on these powders.
  • a package comprising, on the one hand, a container, plastic, comprising side walls meeting at corners, an upper opening and a bottom, and on the other hand, a lid, plastic, detachable configured to cover the upper opening of the container, and in which said container is provided at its upper opening with a first engagement portion bearing an outwardly directed ridge, and extending over the periphery, said lid being provided on its periphery with a second downwardly extending engaging portion provided with a ridge, and wherein said side walls of the container are diverging, forming a truncated pyramid therebetween, configured such that said container is stackable within an identical container, said container having projections extending from the side walls at the top opening of the container and below said first portion of engagement of the r container, said projecting parts being external to the container.
  • the container is configured such that the bottom of the container can be introduced into a cavity of another container through the opening of the latter for stacking purposes,.
  • each corner of the polygonal shape of the side walls of the container has a projection and a recess (in negative of the protrusion), wherein the protrusion extends away from the cavity for the purpose of acting as a spacer, thereby regulating the extent to which one container can be inserted into another container when stacking containers.
  • the recess is arranged opposite and corresponding to the respective projection, wherein the lid includes a locking element at each corner of the polygonal shape of the lid such that the locking elements are associated with respective recesses in the container ,
  • Each lid latch and the respective container recess are configured to engage with each other to releasably connect the lid to the container for the purpose of closing the cavity of the container.
  • the container and the lid include flanges corresponding to the respective perimeters thereof to be engaged with each other in order to allow the lid (and the container to be connected to each other using a seal to close the cavity of the container
  • the lid is in a first orientation relative to the container when the flanges of the container and the lid engage with each other, wherein the lid is in a second orientation. orientation with respect to the container when the locking elements of the lid engage with the respective recesses of the container, wherein the lid in the first orientation is reversed compared to the lid in the second orientation
  • the object of the present invention is to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks by proposing a packaging offering effective protection against the intrusion of insects, the packaging not generating fibers, and at an acceptable cost for the manufacturer, and which is little bulky when storing the packaging when empty.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide such packaging which does not attack the contents during the dynamic storage of the products inside the packaging.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide such a packaging which can be opened easily, ie without tools.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide such a packaging with easy opening (without tools), limiting accidental openings during impacts.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide such a packaging, having an opening indicator suitable for signaling a fraudulent opening.
  • Another object of the present invention is to propose, at least according to one embodiment, a packaging which can be stacked, in particular on several levels, such as three superimposed packagings, or even four superimposed packagings.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide such a packaging facilitating the control of the contents, and without requiring the contents to be removed, or even to remove the lid of the packaging.
  • the invention relates to a packaging comprising, on the one hand, a container, plastic, comprising side walls meeting in the corners, an upper opening and a bottom, and on the other hand, a lid, plastic, detachable configured to cover the upper opening of the container, and wherein said container is provided at its upper opening with a first engagement portion bearing an outwardly directed ridge, and extending over the periphery, said lid being provided on its periphery a second downwardly extending engagement portion provided with an inwardly directed ridge which is capable of hooking below the outwardly directed ridge of the container , and wherein said side walls of the container are divergent, forming between them a truncated pyramid, configured so that said container is stackable inside an identical container.
  • said container has projections extending from the side walls at the level of the upper opening of the container and below said first engagement portion of the container, said projections being external to the container, configured to guarantee a constant stacking pitch between the container and said identical container, when said container is stacked in said identical container, said projecting parts being configured so as to cooperate in abutment with the upper edge of the upper opening of the identical container inside which said container is stacked in order to guarantee said stacking pitch.
  • the height of the outer rib along the vertical defines the stacking pitch, said outer rib thus extending from the flat function of the abutment, at its lower end, to the upper edge of the container, at its upper end;
  • the vertical ribs then advantageously constitute obstacles limiting the risks of accidental opening of the folding skirt sections, by deflecting the unfortunate pressures of an object which would accidentally press under the skirt section.
  • the thickness dimension of the side walls is between 2 mm and 2.2 mm
  • the container is capable of withstanding a compression force of between 40 kilograms and 105 kilograms, preferably of the order of 75 kilograms applied to the cover in the engagement position on the upper opening of the container.
  • the wall of the lid has a pre-cut opening closed by a breakable shutter, a breakable line, formed by a reduction in section of the wall of the lid defining the contour of the shutter and of said pre-cut opening, said breakable line being configured so that a manual pressure on the breakable shutter ensures the breaking of the breakable line and thus the release of the pre-cut opening.
  • said breakable line extends around the periphery of the obturator with the exception of a zone intended to constitute a tab for retaining the obturator once severed, said breakable line being configured so that a manual pressure on the The breakable shutter ensures the breaking of the breakable line and thus the release of the pre-cut opening, then the maintenance of the shutter under the wall of the cover via said retaining tongue, flexible.
