Das Federungselement 5 wird durch einen Stoßdämpfer 6 ergänzt, welcher z.B. seitlich betrachtet zwischen den beiden Federungselementen 5 eines Rads 1 angeordnet ist. Der Stoßdämpfer 6 dämpft ein Schwingungsverhalten der Federungselemente 5, um so einen ununterbrochenen Kontakt der Räder 1 mit einer Schiene aufrechtzuerhalten. Die Stoßdämpfer 6 sind jeweils mit einem Ende an einer Stoßdämpferschnittstelle 4b des Radsatzzwischenrahmens 2 montiert und mit einem zweiten Ende mit einem Achslager 7a verbunden. Der Radsatz bestehend aus Achsen 7 und Rädern 1 wird von einer sogenannten Längsmitnahme 8 in Längsrichtung stabilisiert. Die Längsmitnahme 8 weist z.B. eine Stange 8a auf, deren eines Ende 8b mit dem Achslager 7a eines Rades 1 verbunden ist und deren zweites Ende 8c mit einem Längsmitnahmeträger 4c verbunden ist. Der Längsmitnahmeträger 4c ist seinerseits an dem Radsatzzwischenrahmen 2 fixiert. Weiterhin ist eine Scheiben- oder Klotzbremse 9 über eine Bremsschnittstelle 4d mit dem Radsatzzwischenrahmen 2 verbunden. Beispielsweise werden Montageschnittstellen 4a für Achsfederungselemente 5 auf den Längsträgern des Schienenfahrzeug-Radsatzzwischenrahmens 2 angeordnet. Ebenso werden Montageschnittstellen 4b für Dämpfer 6 zwischen den Montageschnittstellen 4a für Achsfederungselemente 5 auf den Längsträgern 2a des Schienenfahrzeugs-Radsatzzwischenrahmens 2 ausgebildet. Zudem werden Schnittstellen 4c für eine Befestigung von Längsmitnahmen 8 an den Eckpunkten des Schienenfahrzeug-Radsatzzwischenrahmens 2 angeordnet. Des Weiteren werden auf den Querträgern 2b des Schienenfahrzeug-Radsatzzwischenrahmens 2 noch Schnittstellen 4d für die Befestigung von Bremselementen 9 ausgebildet. Schließlich können auch noch Schnittstellen 4e für die Befestigung von Antriebselementen am Schienenfahrzeugs-Radsatzrahmens 2 ausgebildet sein. Bei dem Schritt 3.III werden definierte Montageschnittstellen 2c zur Fixierung des Radsatzzwischenrahmens 2 an einem Untergestell 3 eines Schienenfahrzeugs 10 an dem Schienenfahrzeug-Radsatzzwischenrahmen 2 ausgebildet.
