Claims (7)

  1. A method for discharging contents from a container implemented by a tipper (1), configured to perform the discharge of the contents of the container (10) provided with a protruding lip (11) with an upper face (FS11) and a lower face (FIll), surrounding the discharge opening (12) of the container (10), comprising:
    - a support (2) intended to be fastened on a portion of a collection vehicle (100) equipped with a bucket (101) comprising an upper opening (102) extending in a substantially horizontal plane, said support (2) being provided to be fastened in the vicinity of said opening (102) of the bucket (101),
    - an arm (3), comprising two longitudinal ends (31, 32), pivotally mounted on said support (2) via a pivoting hinge (4) of axis (A) at a first longitudinal end (31), said arm (3) being equipped with a counter comb (33), configured to press against the upper face (FS11) of the lip (11) of the discharge opening (12) of the container (10), said counter comb (33) being positioned in an intermediate position on said arm (3) between the first longitudinal end (31) and the second longitudinal end (32), at a distance (D33) which is greater than 40 cm from the axis (A) and from at least one roller (34), configured to receive in support a lateral wall (13) of the container (10), positioned at the second longitudinal end (32) of the arm (3),
    - an actuator (5) configured to drive the pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) about said axis (A),
    - a comb (6), slidably movably mounted relative to the arm (3), in a substantially longitudinal direction (L3) of the arm (3), and configured to press against the lower face (FI11) of said lip (11) of the discharge opening (12) of the container (10),
    - an actuator (7) configured to cause the sliding of the comb (6) relative to the arm (3) in said substantially longitudinal direction (L3) of the arm (3),
    - a control means connected to said actuators (5, 7),
    wherein said comb (6) and said counter comb (33) are configured to grip said lip (11) of the discharge opening (12) of the container (10) in order to ensure lifting and holding the container (10) on the arm (3),
    and wherein the control means is configured so as to drive said actuators (5, 7) in order to cause the sliding of the comb (6) relative to the arm (3) and the pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) in order to allow the discharge of the contents of the container (10) into the bucket (101) through said opening (102) of the bucket (101), said method comprising the steps:
    (a) sliding of the comb (6) relative to the arm (3), until the counter comb (33) bears against the upper face (FS11) of the lip (11) of the discharge opening (12) of the container (10) and the comb (6) bears against the lower face (FI11) of the lip (11) of the discharge opening (12) of the container (10), in an initial position of the arm (3) for which the arm (3) remains oriented along a substantially zero angle relative to the vertical (V),
    (b) pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) from its initial position and implementation of an acceleration of the arm (3) relative to the support (2), at least from an intermediate position of the arm (3), in which the arm (3) defines an angle comprised between 70° and 90° relative to the vertical (V), to an end-of-travel position of the arm (3), in which the arm (3) defines an angle comprised between 120° and 160° relative to the vertical (V), such that the contents of the container (10) are maintained in the container (10) between the intermediate position and the end-of-travel position of the arm (3), by accelerating the container (10) relative to the support (2) between said intermediate position of the arm (3) and the end-of-travel position of the arm (3), the control method and/or said actuator (5) causing the pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) being configured such that, between said intermediate position and the end-of-travel position of the arm (3):
    - the linear acceleration of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) at the counter comb (33) is comprised between 1.5 m.s-2 and 5 m.s-2 and
    - the linear speed of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) at the counter comb (33) is comprised between 1 m.s-1 and 3 m.s-1
    (c) hydraulic braking of the arm (3) relative to the support (2), when the arm (3) is in said end-of-travel position, so as to cause the ejection of the contents of the container (10) into the bucket (101), through the opening (102) of the bucket (101).
  2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the control means and/or said actuator (5) causing the pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) are configured such that during step (b), between the initial position and the intermediate position of the arm (3), the arm (3) is pivoted relative to the support (2), with:
    - the linear acceleration of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) at the counter comb (33) less than 0.5 m.s-2, and
    - the linear speed of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) at the counter comb (33) less than 1.5 m.s-1.
  3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the control means and/or said actuator (5) causing the pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) are configured such that the linear speed of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) at the counter comb (33), at the end of step (b), is comprised between 2 m.s-1 and 3 m.s-1.
  4. The method according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein said actuator (5) causing the pivoting of the arm (3) relative to the support (2) comprises a jack (5) with a body (51) slidably receiving a piston (52), the body (51) of the jack (5) comprising a throttle, configured to ensure the braking of the piston (52) relative to the body (51) in order to carry out the hydraulic braking of step (c).
  5. The method according to one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the control means and/or said actuator (7) causing the sliding of the comb (6) relative to the arm (3) are configured such that the sliding travel (C6) of the comb (6) relative to the arm (3) during step (a) is comprised between 30 cm and 1 m, for example 50 cm.
  6. The method according to one of claims 1 to 5, wherein said distance (D33) between the axis (A) of the hinge (4) and the counter comb (33) of the arm (3) is comprised between 50 cm and 80 cm.
  7. The method according to one of claims 1 to 6, implemented for a collection vehicle (100) comprising the bucket (101) provided with an upper opening (102) extending in a substantially horizontal plane, and wherein the support (2) is fastened on a portion of the vehicle (100) in the vicinity of said upper opening (102) of the bucket (101).
