Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fastening arrangement for a toilet folding element, such as a toilet seat or a toilet lid, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the WO 2016/001318 a mounting option for a toilet seat, with bearing bolts being used, with which a toilet seat can be connected.
- the position of the bearing bolts can be aligned with a positioning aid, after which the annular space between the bearing bolt and the toilet bowl is filled with a gap filler and the bearing bolt is mechanically fixed with a nut.
- the fastening solution after the WO 2016/001318 is disadvantageous because a separate positioning aid must be used to align the toilet seat with the toilet bowl and because the securing means of the bearing bolt are difficult to access.
- the invention is based on an object, a fastening system for a toilet folding element, such as a seat ring and / or Specify toilet seat, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art.
- a fastening system for a folding toilet element is to be specified, with which the folding toilet element can be aligned more easily.

- the drive structure preferably extends from the end face of the receiving section into the receiving section. This allows a simple structure to be created.
- the drive structure can have different shapes, the shape being selected such that a tool can be used to transfer rotation to the bearing pin.
- the drive structure is preferably a square socket or a hexagon socket or a slot or a Phillips slot or a torx.
- the receiving section has a constant outside diameter, the outer diameter in the area of the drive structure not being enlarged. That is, the drive structure can be made very compact.
- the diameter of the bearing opening is preferably essentially identical to the outer diameter of the receiving section. This allows good storage to be achieved.
- the drive structure particularly preferably lies completely inside the bearing opening.
- the drive structure is accessible in particular from above through the bearing opening. This means that a tool can be guided through the bearing opening to the drive structure.
- the location inside the bearing opening has the advantage that the drive structure is protected from external influences.
- the free end of the receiving section is inside the bearing opening and does not protrude out of the bearing opening.
- the depth of the bearing opening is thus greater than the length of the receiving section.
- the abutment section preferably has an annular surface towards the bearing surface of the toilet bowl, with an elastic disk element lying between the annular surface and the bearing surface.
- the disk element has an upper surface which is designed to complement the annular surface and which is in contact with the annular surface.
- the disc element has an underside that rests on the bearing surface.
- the disc element is preferably designed to be elastic.
- said ring surface is concavely rounded and the top is convexly rounded.
- the ring surface is convexly rounded and the top is concavely rounded. In both variants, the underside essentially runs in one plane.
- annular surface and the upper side can also be flat.
- the stop section preferably has an annular surface towards the hinge support, on which the hinge support rests.
- the hinge support stands on the support surface.
- the counter-thread is preferably part of a sliding block, which is mounted in a groove track with play in at least one direction.
- the sliding block is preferably mounted with play in several directions, the mounting preferably being such that the sliding block can move parallel to the support surface.
- the play of the sliding block in the groove track essentially corresponds to the play of the bearing bolt in the fastening opening of the toilet bowl.
- the play of the bearing pin in the mounting hole is achieved by a difference in diameter between the diameter of the mounting hole and the diameter of the parts of the bearing pin that protrude through the mounting hole.
- the grooved track is preferably part of a frame element which is mounted in a rear receiving space in the toilet bowl.
- the frame element can, for example, be part of a bearing structure with which the toilet bowl can be fastened to a wall.
- the frame element can also be used in another way or be mounted in the said rear receiving space especially for receiving the grooved element.
- the receiving section for securing the hinge support has at least one spring washer, the at least one spring washer preferably being the only securing element between the hinge support and the bearing pin.
- the hinge support extends along a hinge axis and its outer shape is seen in cross-section transverse to the hinge axis essentially over the a compact cross-section can be formed.
- the hinge support may have cuts and reinforcing ribs.

- the hinge support is preferably covered by a screen element.
- the screen element preferably extends over the entire hinge support.
- a fastening system 1 for a toilet folding element 2 on a toilet bowl 4 is shown.
- the toilet folding element 2 can be folded away from a bearing surface 3 lying in the horizontal H, which is part of a toilet bowl 4 .
- the toilet folding element 2 is typically a toilet lid and/or a toilet seat ring.
- FIG. 1 an exploded view is shown, in which the toilet folding element 2 is shown at a distance from the support surface 3 .
- the fastening system 1 comprises at least one bearing bolt 5 extending along a central axis M.
- Two bearing bolts 5 are arranged here. In the figure 1 the basic arrangement of the two bearing pins 5 is shown. The two bearing bolts 5 are spaced apart from one another. A part of the bearing bolt 5 extends upwards from the support surface 3 of the toilet bowl 4 along the central axis M. The central axis M is oriented essentially at right angles to the horizontal H. Another part of the bearing bolt extends into the toilet bowl 4 via a fastening opening 28 of the toilet bowl 4 .
- the fastening system 1 also includes a hinge support 9 for the pivotable mounting of the toilet folding element 2 on the toilet bowl 4.
- the hinge support 9 can be connected to the at least one bearing pin 5 and is mounted on the toilet bowl 4 via the at least one bearing pin 5.
- the bearing bolt 5 comprises a receiving section 6, an adjoining stop section 7 and a threaded section 8.
- the threaded section 8 is formed onto the stop section 7 via a bridging section 27.
- the receiving section 6 serves to mount the hinge support 9.
- the stop section 7 can be connected directly or indirectly to the bearing surface 3 of the toilet bowl 4.
- FIG 2 a sectional view through the central axis M of the bearing pin 5 is shown. It can be clearly seen here that the fastening system 1 also has a counterthread 11 which is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner with respect to the bearing pin 5 and into which the bearing pin 5 engages.
- the threaded section 8 which extends below the stop section 7 in the direction of the central axis, can be brought into engagement with the mating thread 11.
- the threaded section 8 is an external thread and the mating thread 11 is an internal thread.
- the receiving section 6 and the stop section 7 extend upwards away from the support surface 3, while the threaded section 8 or the bridging section 27 shown here extends downwards through a fastening opening 28 in the toilet bowl 4 to the counter-thread 11 extend.
- the bridging section 27 has at least a length which is slightly greater than the depth of the fastening opening 28, with the diameter of the bridging section 27 also preferably being smaller than the outside diameter of the threaded section 8.
- the outside diameter of the bridging section 27 is smaller than the diameter of the fastening opening 28 , so that play between the bearing pin 5 and the mounting hole 28 is created. If the stop section 7 is directly connected to the threaded section 8, that is, if there is no bridging section 27, the outer diameter of the threaded section 8 is smaller than the diameter of the fastening opening 28. This also creates play.
- the receiving section 6 extends into a bearing opening 10 on the hinge support 9 .
- the hinge support 9 is mounted on the bearing pin 5.
- the hinge support 9 comprises two bearing openings 10 arranged at a distance from one another.
- the two bearing openings 10 are at the same distance from one another as the two bearing bolts 5.
- the stop section 7 has an annular surface 18 towards the hinge support 9, on which the hinge support 9 stands.
- the receiving section 6 also includes a drive structure 12, via which the bearing pin 5 can be made to rotate about its central axis M.
- the installer can reach into the drive structure 12 with a tool and thus set the bearing pin 5 in rotation.
- the threaded section 8 of the bearing bolt 5 is screwed into the mating thread 11 .
- the bearing opening 10 is open at the top, so that the drive structure 12 can be accessed and actuated from above. Accessibility from above can be figures 2 and 3 be recognized particularly well.
- the bearing pin 5 can be brought into engagement with the threaded section 8 in the mating thread 11 and tightened slightly so that the mating thread 11 and the bearing pin 5 can move relative to the bearing surface 3 within play.
- the movement is in particular transverse to the fastening opening 28, the fastening opening 28 having a diameter which is larger than the maximum diameter of the bearing pin 5, so that a corresponding game can be provided.
- the fitter can place the hinge support 9 on the receiving section 6 and then align the entire toilet folding element 2 with respect to the toilet bowl 4 . After the alignment has taken place, the installer can then tighten the bearing bolt 5 with respect to the mating thread 11 via the drive structure 12 so that no further displacement is achieved.
- the stop section 7 When tightening, the stop section 7 is pulled against the bearing surface 3 .
- a suitable tool can be inserted into the bearing opening 10, which then engages in the drive structure 12, so that the bearing pin 5 is brought into rotation with respect to the stationary mating thread.
- the drive structure 12 extends from the end face 30 of the receiving section 6 into the receiving section 6 .
- the drive structure 12 is arranged on the front side at the free end 13 of the receiving section 6 .
- the drive structure 12 is formed integrally on the bearing bolt 5 and extends from its end face into the receiving section 6 . A change in the diameter of the bearing pin 5 in the area of the drive structure 12 is not necessary.
- the receiving section 6 has a constant outside diameter D6, with the outside diameter D6 in the region of the drive structure, as stated, not being enlarged.
- the outer diameter D6 of the receiving section 6 is essentially identical to the diameter D10 of the bearing opening 10.
- the drive structure 12 has the shape of a hexagon socket.
- the drive structure can also be designed differently, for example as a torx.
- the drive structure 12 is completely inside the bearing opening 10. This means that the end face 30 is also completely inside the bearing opening 10. This has the advantage that the end of the receiving section 6 is located inside the bearing opening 10 and there are no protruding parts that would protrude upwards from the bearing opening 10 .
- the stop portion 7 to Bearing surface 3 has an annular surface 14 .
- An elastic disk element 15 is arranged between the annular surface 14 and the bearing surface 3 .
- the elastic disk element 15 has an upper side 16 which is designed to complement the annular surface 14 .
- the disc element 15 is preferably made of plastic.
- the annular surface 14 of the stop section 7 is designed as a concavely rounded surface, while the upper side 16 of the disk element 15 is designed as a convex surface. In this way, angular tolerances that can result from the design of the bearing surface 3 can be compensated.
- the underside 17 of the disk element 15 rests on the support surface 3 .
- the disk element 15 is preferably dimensioned in such a way that the stop section 7 does not lie directly on the bearing surface 3 . This is an indirect contact between the stop section 7 and the contact surface 3. A direct contact would also be conceivable, in which case the disc element 15 can then be dispensed with.
- the stop section 7 has a further annular surface towards the hinge support 9, on which the hinge support 9 rests.
- the hinge support 9 rests on the ring surface 14 with the edge areas of the bearing opening 10 .
- the mating thread 11 is, as in the figure 3 shown, a part of a sliding block 19.
- the sliding block 19 is mounted in a grooved track 20 in at least one direction R1, R2 with play.
- the sliding block 19 can move freely in two different directions R1, R2, which are at right angles to one another.
- the mobility is preferably such that the mating thread 11 below the fastening opening 28 of the toilet bowl 4 can assume any position within the fastening opening 28 .
- the grooved track 20 is here part of a frame element 21, which is mounted in a rear receiving space 22 in the toilet bowl.
- the frame element 21 can also be used, for example, to attach the toilet bowl 4 to the wall.
- the frame element 21 is firmly mounted in said receiving space 2 .
- the receiving section 6 has at least one spring ring 23 to secure the hinge support 9 .
- the spring ring 23 is mounted in a spring ring groove 29 .
- the spring ring 23 is particularly preferably the only securing element between the receiving section 6 and the hinge support 9, so that the hinge support 9 can be easily separated from the receiving section 6, for example for cleaning work.
- the hinge support 9 extends along a hinge axis S like a beam. In its outer shape, the cross section, viewed transversely to the hinge axis S, is essentially constant over the entire length of the hinge support 9 .
- the bearing opening 10 is at right angles to the hinge axis S and is arranged essentially in the center of the hinge support 9 when viewed in cross section of the hinge support 9 .
- the hinge support 9 On the front side, the hinge support 9 has a receiving opening 24 in which a hinge element 25 is mounted.
- the hinge element 25 connects the toilet folding element 2 to the hinge support 9.
- the bearing opening 10 penetrates the receiving opening 24, with the hinge element 25 extending around the cross section of the bearing opening 10.
- a hinge part can protrude from the hinge support 9 in the direction of the hinge axis S at the front.
- the hinge part is firmly formed on the hinge support 9.
- the figures also show that the hinge support 9 is covered with a screen element 26 .
- a panel element 26 covering the hinge support 9 is mounted.

At least one of the stated tasks is solved by a fastening system according to
During assembly, it is therefore possible to align the hinge support, in particular with the folding toilet element, and then, after alignment has taken place, to screw it on via the drive structure that is accessible from above. This eliminates the need for alignment with a template or multiple alignments. In addition, due to the connection via the bearing pin to the hinge support, an easy-to-separate connection is provided, so that the hinge support with the toilet folding element can be easily separated from the toilet bowl for cleaning.
The expression "from above" is to be understood in the present context such that in the installed position the drive section is accessible from above the support surface. This means, for example, a tool can be moved in the vertical direction from above in the direction of the support surface in the drive structure.
The expression "horizontal" is to be understood in such a way that the bearing surface lies in a horizontally extending plane in the installed position, which plane is at right angles to the perpendicular direction.
The cross section of the receiving section and the cross section of the bearing opening are preferably selected in such a way that the bearing bolt can be rotated relative to the bearing opening.
Preferably, there is also a transition section between the stop section and the threaded section, which in the installed position extends through a fastening opening in the toilet bowl.
The number of fastening openings, the number of bearing bolts and the number of bearing openings are coordinated and correspond to one another.
The drive structure is preferably arranged on the front side at the free end of the receiving section. This allows good access to be created from above. In addition, the drive structure becomes visible when viewed from above and can be easily recognized by the user.
The drive structure preferably extends from the end face of the receiving section into the receiving section. This allows a simple structure to be created.
The drive structure can have different shapes, the shape being selected such that a tool can be used to transfer rotation to the bearing pin. The drive structure is preferably a square socket or a hexagon socket or a slot or a Phillips slot or a torx. According to the invention, the receiving section has a constant outside diameter, the outer diameter in the area of the drive structure not being enlarged. That is, the drive structure can be made very compact. The diameter of the bearing opening is preferably essentially identical to the outer diameter of the receiving section. This allows good storage to be achieved.
Viewed in the installed position, the drive structure particularly preferably lies completely inside the bearing opening. The drive structure is accessible in particular from above through the bearing opening. This means that a tool can be guided through the bearing opening to the drive structure. The location inside the bearing opening has the advantage that the drive structure is protected from external influences.
In other words, the free end of the receiving section is inside the bearing opening and does not protrude out of the bearing opening. The depth of the bearing opening is thus greater than the length of the receiving section.
It would also be conceivable for the free end with the drive structure to protrude out of the bearing opening.
The abutment section preferably has an annular surface towards the bearing surface of the toilet bowl, with an elastic disk element lying between the annular surface and the bearing surface. The disk element has an upper surface which is designed to complement the annular surface and which is in contact with the annular surface. Furthermore, the disc element has an underside that rests on the bearing surface. The disc element is preferably designed to be elastic.
Preferably said ring surface is concavely rounded and the top is convexly rounded. This has the advantage that the position of the bearing bolt can still be easily varied, which is an advantage in the area of ceramic toilet bowls. As a result, manufacturing tolerances on the toilet bowl can be easily compensated. Alternatively, the ring surface is convexly rounded and the top is concavely rounded. In both variants, the underside essentially runs in one plane.
However, the annular surface and the upper side can also be flat.
The stop section preferably has an annular surface towards the hinge support, on which the hinge support rests. Alternatively, the hinge support stands on the support surface.
The counter-thread is preferably part of a sliding block, which is mounted in a groove track with play in at least one direction. The sliding block is preferably mounted with play in several directions, the mounting preferably being such that the sliding block can move parallel to the support surface.
The play of the sliding block in the groove track essentially corresponds to the play of the bearing bolt in the fastening opening of the toilet bowl. The play of the bearing pin in the mounting hole is achieved by a difference in diameter between the diameter of the mounting hole and the diameter of the parts of the bearing pin that protrude through the mounting hole.
The grooved track is preferably part of a frame element which is mounted in a rear receiving space in the toilet bowl. The frame element can, for example, be part of a bearing structure with which the toilet bowl can be fastened to a wall. However, the frame element can also be used in another way or be mounted in the said rear receiving space especially for receiving the grooved element.
According to the invention, the receiving section for securing the hinge support has at least one spring washer, the at least one spring washer preferably being the only securing element between the hinge support and the bearing pin. This has the advantage that the assembly and disassembly of the hinge support is very easy. In particular, no further securing means such as screws, splints or the like are required to secure the hinge support to the bearing bolt.
Preferably, the hinge support extends along a hinge axis and its outer shape is seen in cross-section transverse to the hinge axis essentially over the a compact cross-section can be formed. The hinge support may have cuts and reinforcing ribs.
The bearing opening preferably runs at right angles to the hinge axis and, viewed in cross-section, lies essentially in the center of the hinge support.
Alternativerweise steht ein Scharnierteil stirnseitig in Richtung der Scharnierachse vom Scharniersupport ab.The hinge support preferably has a receiving opening on the front side, in which a hinge element is mounted. The toilet folding element is mounted on the hinge element. The bearing opening preferably penetrates through the receiving opening and the hinge element extends around the cross section of the bearing opening. This means that there is no collision between the hinge element and the bearing pin that protrudes into the bearing opening. Alternatively, a hinge part protrudes from the hinge support at the end face in the direction of the hinge axis.
One arrangement includes a fastening system as described above and a toilet folding element pivotably mounted on the hinge support, in particular in the form of a seat ring and/or a lid and a toilet bowl on which the fastening system is mounted via the bearing bolt or bolts.
The toilet bowl preferably comprises two feed-through openings spaced apart from one another, through which the bearing bolt is guided. This means that there are preferably two bearing bolts which are at a distance from one another.
The hinge support is preferably covered by a screen element. The screen element preferably extends over the entire hinge support.
