Description
- The present invention relates to sanitary ware, that is to say to a hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet.
- A toilet comprises a body and a lid component, the lid component comprises a seatring and an upper cover, the lid component is assembled to the body by an assembly mechanism, the lid component can rotate about a horizontal rotation shaft, the rotation shaft is connected to the body of the toilet by a vertical supporting pin. For example in
EP1199020B1 , a hinged structure to connect a lid to a toilet body, the rotation shaft is disposed with an element, the element is disposed with a blind hole, the supporting pin of the base inserts into the blind hole of the element, the blind hole is used to prevent the supporting pin from over extending out to touch the lid, however, the blind hole is easy to break when a person is sitting on the lid, the blind hole can not fix the supporting pin of the body to the element either, structural design is needed to lock the supporting pin to the element, the blind hole of the element makes the weight of the lid component loading at the top end of the supporting pin, so it needs high strength of a support pin. - Document
CN 202 843 499 discloses a hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet having a unit, this document disclosing all of the features of the preamble ofclaim 1. -
US 2010/275353 A1 discloses a hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet according to the preamble ofclaim 4. - Document
CN 201 308 445 discloses a hinged device of lid and a body of a toilet having a locking mechanism and a button for unlocking the hinged device. - Document
CN 203 042 111 U discloses a hinged device of lid and a body of a toilet having a connecting unit with a blind hole for receiving a fixing pin, this document disclosing all of the features of the preamble ofclaim 6. - The object of the present invention is to provide a hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet according to each of
claims dependent claims - The hinged devices the present invention each have a simple structure, they each have a large bearing surface, and in each case the upper end of a switch element loads little weight, thus making the devices stable and durable. The present invention complements quick assembly and disassembly of a lid of a toilet.

FIG.1 and FIG.2 , a lid component with a hinged device comprises alid 1 and aseatring 2. the rear portion of thelid 1 and theseatring 2 is disposed with a shaft sleeve 1-1, adamper 3 is disposed inside the shaft sleeve 1-1, one side of the damper is disposed with aswitch element 4, theswitch element 4 and thedamper 3 are coaxial to compose a rotation shaft of the lid component, the lid component rotates about the rotation shaft. Another side of the lid component is disposed with another damper and switch element. - As figured in
FIG.3 of a relationship of the rotation shaft and a base, the bottom end of theswitch element 4 abuts against a step 6-3 of thebase 6, so that pressure of the lid component and the weight of a man are directly loaded to the base by the rotation shaft, the supporting pin 6-1 bears little weight. - As figured in
FIG.4 , thebase 6 comprises a supporting pin 6-1 inserted into the through hole 4-1. The upper end of the supporting pin is disposed with a groove 6-2, the upper end of the base is disposed with a step 6-3, the height of the supporting pin is lower than the height of the assembled rotation shaft, as figured inFIG.2 , so that the stress of the lid component is not loaded to the supporting pin 6-1, thus the upper end of the supporting pin 6-1 works to connect and it bears little weight. - As figured in
FIG.4 andFIG.5 , theswitch element 4 is disposed with a through hole 4-1 in radial direction. The switch element is disposed with a slot 4-2 in axial direction. - The slot 4-2 and the through hole 4-1 are connected. A
button 5 is disposed in the right side of theswitch element 4. As figured inFIG.6 , the right side is the button, the other side is aninsert 7, the insert has a thin sheet shape and has a lock hole 7-8. As figured inFig.7 , a spring 8 abuts between thebutton 5 and theelement 4, so that under the work of the spring, theinsert 7 is locked to the groove 6-2 of the supporting pin. - The usage of the present invention is that:
When assembling, installing thebase 6 to the ceramic body, the through hole 4-1 of theswitch element 4 aligns to the support pin 6-1 of thebase 6 and inserts. - With a conical structure in the top end of the supporting pin pushing the edge of the lock hole 7-8 of the insert, the
insert 7 of thebutton 5 moves to one side, under the work of the spring 8, theinsert 7 is locked to the groove 6-2, thus completing the assembly. - When disassembling, pressing the
button 5 left, so that theinsert 7 moves to the opposite side and separates from the groove 6-2, so that the lid component can be taken away from thebase 6. - A hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet comprises a
lid 1 and a seatring 2. the bottom of thelid 1 is disposed with a shaft sleeve 1-1, aswitch element 4 and a damper are coaxially disposed inside the shaft sleeve 1-1, similar to the first embodiment. - The relationship of the rotation shaft and the base is figured in
FIG.8 , the bottom 4-5 of theswitch element 4 abuts against a step 6-3 of the base, so that pressure of the lid component and the weight of a man are directly loaded to the base by the rotation shaft, the upper end of the supporting pin 6-1 bears little weight, thus benefit to the upper end of the supporting pin. As figured inFIG. 10 , the step 6-3 and the supportingpin 6 are integrated, the upper end of supportingpin 6 is disposed with two grooves 6-5 in axial direction, the grooves have certain length, the upper end of the supporting pin has certain elasticity, and the top surface of the supporting pin is disposed with a lock flange 6-4. -
FIG.11 is figured with the switch element, the left end of theswitch element 4 is connected to thedamper 3, the right end is disposed with an elastic piece 4-3, the switch element is disposed with a through hole 4-2. - After being assembled to the toilet component and fixed, the elastic piece is given a force, the supporting
pin 6 is given a force in radial direction when inserted, the supportingpin 6 passes through the through hole 4-1 of the switch element, and the lock flange 6-4 at the top end of the support pin extends out of the top surface of theswitch element 4 after being passed through the through hole, thus making the supportingpin 6 hard to be pulled out of the connecting element. The height of the supporting pin is lower than that of the upper end of the rotation shaft after assembled, as figured inFIG.9 . - The usage of the present invention is that:
When assembling, installing thebase 6 to the ceramic body, the switch element and the damper are put into the shaft sleeve 1-1 at the rear end of the lid and the seatring, and the through hole 4-1 of theswitch element 4 aligns to the supporting pin 6-1 of thebase 6 and insert. The lock flange 6-4 at the top end of the supporting pin extends until reaching to the step 6-3 of the base after passed through the through hole . The edge of the lock hole 7-8 of the insert, theinsert 7 of thebutton 5 moves to one side, under the work of the spring 8, theinsert 7 is locked to the groove 6-2, thus completing the assembly. - When disassembling, the lid is just pulled up from the supporting pin 6-1 of the
base 6. - A hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet comprises a
lid 1 and a seatring 2. The bottom of thelid 1 is disposed with a shaft sleeve 1-1, a connectingelement 4 and a damper are coaxially disposed inside the shaft sleeve 1-1, similar to the first embodiment. - The
switch element 4 of this embodiment, similar to the second embodiment, is disposed with an elastic piece 4-3, as figured infig.11 ; the connection of thebase 6 and theswitch element 3 is that: in this embodiment, thebase 6 and the supporting pin 6-1 are not integrated and the upper end of the base is a step 6-3. It bears the pressure of the lid component. The upper end of the supportingpin 6 of the base is disposed with two annular grooves 6-2, 6-6, which are correspondingly sleeved with a first sealing ring 6-4 and a second sealing ring 6-5; the first sealing ring 6-4 and the second sealing ring 6-5 respectively closely fit or interference fit to the internal wall of the through hole 4-1 of the connecting element, under the work of friction and the supportingpin 6 and theswitch element 4 are stably connected.
Claims (7)
- A hinged device of a lid (1) and a body of a toilet, which is used to assemble a lid component to a ceramic body of a toilet, comprising a rotation shaft, the lid component rotates about the rotation shaft, a base (6) is disposed on the ceramic body, the base (6) is disposed with a supporting pin (6-1), the rotation shaft comprises a switch element (4) and a damper (3), wherein:the switch (4) is disposed with a hole (4-1) extending in radial direction, the switch element (4) is disposed with a slot (4-2) in axial direction, the slot (4-2) and the hole (4-1) are connected;the supporting pin (6-1) is disposed with a groove in radial direction, the support pin (6-1) of the base (6) is inserted into the hole (4-1) of the switch element (4);an insert (7), movably disposed inside the slot (4-2) of the switch element (4), the insert (7) is locked to the groove of the support pin (6-1) under the work of an elastic force so as to lock the supporting pin (6-1) to the switch element (4);the upper end of the base (6) is disposed with a step (6-3),characterized in thatthe bottom surface of the hinged device is disposed on the step (6-3), the step (6-3) bears the lid component, andthe radial hole (4-1) of the switch element (4) is a through hole.
- The hinged device of a lid (1) and a body of a toilet according to claim 1, wherein one side of the switch element (4) is disposed with the damper (3) in axial direction, the other side of the switch element (4) is disposed with a button (5), the button (5) is connected to the insert (7) or the button (5) and the insert (7) are integrated, a spring abuts against the button (5) and the rotation shaft therebetween, the insert (7) is locked to the groove of the supporting pin (6-1) under the work of the elastic force.
- The hinged device of a lid (1) and a body of a toilet according to claim 1 or 2, the height of the supporting pin (6-1) of the base (6) is lower than the height of the upper end of the rotation shaft, the weight of the lid component doesn't load on the end face of the supporting pin (6-1).
- A hinged device of a lid (1) and a body of a toilet, which is used to assemble a lid component to a ceramic body of a toilet, comprising a rotation shaft, the lid component rotates about the rotation shaft, a base (6) is disposed on the ceramic body, the base (6) is disposed with a supporting pin (6-1), the rotation shaft comprises switch element (4) and a damper (3), wherein:the switch element (4) is disposed with a hole (4-1) in radial direction;the supporting pin (6-1) of the base (6) is inserted into the hole (4-1) of the element (4) abutting against the step (6-3) of the base (6);the upper end of the base (6) is disposed with a step (6-3), wherein the radial hole (4-1) of the element (4) abutting against the step (6-3) of the base (6) is a through hole, whereinthe upper end of the supporting pin (6-1) is disposed with at least a groove (6-5) in axial direction, wherein the supporting pin (6-1) is disposed with a lock flange (6-4) that extends out of the top surface of the switch element (4) and the upper end of the support pin has elasticity,characterized in thatthe bottom surface of the rotation shaft is disposed on the step (6-3), the step (6-3) bears the lid component.
- The hinged device of a lid (1) and a body of a toilet according to claim 4, wherein the upper end of the supporting pin (6-1) is disposed with two grooves (6-5) in axial direction, one end of the switch element (4) is connected to the damper (3), the other end of the switch element (4) is connected to an elastic piece (4-3).
- A hinged device of a lid (1) and a body of a toilet, which is used to assemble a lid component to a ceramic body of a toilet, comprising a rotation shaft, the lid component rotates about the rotation shaft, a base (6) is disposed on the ceramic body, the base (6) is disposed with a supporting pin (6-1), the rotation shaft comprises a switch element (4) and a damper (3), wherein:the switch element (4) is disposed with a hole (4-1) in radial direction;the supporting pin (6-1) is disposed with at least an annular groove (6-2, 6-6) in radial direction, the supporting pin (6-1) of the base (6) is inserted into the hole (4-1) of the switch element (4);the annular groove (6-2, 6-6) is sleeved with a sealing ring (6-4, 6-5), when the supporting pin (6-1) is inserted into the hole (4-1), the internal wall of the hole (4-1) fits closely to the sealing ring (6-4, 6-5) or interference fits to the sealing ring (6-4, 6-5) to lock the supporting pin (6-1) to the switch element (4);the upper end of the base (6) is disposed with the step (6-3),characterized in thatthe radial hole (4-1) of the switch element (4) is a through hole,the bottom surface of the rotation shaft is disposed on the step (6-3), and the step (6-3) bears the lid component.
- The hinged device of a lid and a body of a toilet according to claim 6, wherein the supporting pin (6-1) is disposed with two annular grooves (6-2, 6-6), one end of the switch element (4) is connected to the damper (3), the other end of the switch element (4) (6) is connected to an elastic piece.
