Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folding device for cardboard boxes in unwinding, preferably for pizza boxes.
  • Such pizza boxes are usually delivered to pizzerias in accordance with DE 199 01 237 A1 delivered to be folded by hand on site. Accordingly, depending on the number of pizzas delivered in daily business, folded boxes with a not insignificant amount of space must be kept in the pizzeria, which are then also opened by hand in order to insert the pizza and then deliver it.
  • a device for conveying such a pre-folded packaging blank is already known, with the help of which such flat pizza boxes delivered in the processing phase can be folded.
  • the pre-folded pizza boxes are, on the one hand, loaded with the pizza, which is placed on a base section of the pizza box, and then, during the run through the packaging machine, the pizza boxes are folded around the pizza placed on the base element, with the pizza being added to this are conveyed horizontally through the packaging machine and its individual stations by means of a round belt conveyor.
  • Such packaging machines are used in production to pack pizzas that are usually frozen.
  • the packaging machine cannot usually be used in day-to-day business in a conventional pizzeria.
  • the space required for the hand-folded pizza boxes in such a pizzeria is also quite considerable.
  • the invention is based on the object of creating a folding device, in particular for pizzas, which, on the one hand, requires significantly less space and, on the other hand, significantly reduces or makes the storage requirement for pizza boxes kept in reserve. Furthermore, the solution according to the invention eliminates the need to fold and then store pizza boxes for later use.
  • the invention comprises a folding device which has an angle frame, comprising at least two angle elements arranged at a distance from one another which corresponds at least to the width of the cardboard box to be fed, each of which has an adjustable foot, on which, preferably at right angles , each with a vertical strut articulated, are constructed, with these vertical struts spaced apart from each other, at a distance that corresponds at least to the width of the cardboard to be fed, away from the adjustable feet of the folding device, on the side surface facing the vertical struts, open magazine frame is arranged , wherein this magazine frame, at least through the vertical struts, the mounting surface, the belt drive and at least one of the two vertical struts formed hollow tube, which is preferably arranged on the top side of the mounting surface, and into which an, at least essentially L-shaped plug-in tube is inserted in such a way, that this hollow tube and the inserted plug-in tube at least partially surround the vertical cardboard boxes, this magazine frame preferably being equipped with side
  • the device according to the invention has the advantage that it is simultaneously suitable for storing at least a portion of the cardboard boxes required in day-to-day business within the magazine frame explained.
  • the frame element consists of a hollow tube lying on one side of the stack of cardboard boxes, which is attached to the vertical struts of the folding device, into which an angled plug-in tube is inserted, which at least partially surrounds the cardboard boxes on the side facing away from the angle element.
  • the plug-in tube inserted into the hollow tube is additionally connected to this hollow tube by means of an internal spring element, the spring force of which presses the plug-in tube in the direction of the angle element and thus against the belt drive with the cardboard boxes in between. This ensures that when the belt drive is switched on, the front cardboard box can be moved downwards while overcoming the frictional forces within the folding device.
  • the plug-in tube is at least partially encased by a buffer element in the pressing area on the rearmost cardboard box facing away from the angle element, so that damage or deformation of the cardboard boxes held in the magazine frame is avoided.
  • the footprint of the magazine frame is beveled downwards in the direction of the belt drive, so that the gradient introduced thereby supports the propulsion of the cardboard boxes held in the magazine frame in the direction of the belt drive.
  • Both the electric motor-driven belt drive, the folding frame and the folding tools mentioned are each put into operation or deactivated and controlled by means of a control element attached to the underside of the folding device's support surface.
  • an electric motor-driven lever element is also arranged on the two-sided adjustable feet of the folding device, which can be used as a lid closer at a later point in the process of folding the cardboard boxes.
  • this cardboard box which is arranged vertically on the mentioned installation surface, is received in the folding frame.
  • the lateral folding tools arranged on both sides of the folding frame are then pivoted by 90 ° in such a way that they then rest on the bottom surface of this cardboard box facing away from the vertical struts of the folding device, the lateral folding tools then being pivoted further in the direction of the vertical struts so that the side flaps of the cardboard that protrude on both sides beyond the outer frame of the folding frame are pivoted, preferably along a crease line embossed in the cardboard, at an angle of at least approximately 90°, i.e. are erected in relation to the bottom surface of the cardboard.
  • the lower folding tools are now also pivoted by 90° and thereby preferably along an embossed fold line running parallel to the erecting edge of these cardboard boxes, a lower cardboard flap arranged away from the underside in the erecting edge is folded again preferably at an angle of 90° and then by means of a further rotation of the lower folding tool along one of the The folding line on the underside, which is less distant and preferably also embossed and runs parallel to the mounting edge, is folded again at an angle of 90 ° to form a double wall.
  • the pizza box is unfolded from the unwinding into its later spatial shape.
  • the now pre-folded cardboard box is moved from its previous vertical position into a horizontal position using the pivotably articulated folding frame.
  • the lid closers which are pivotally articulated on both sides of the box on the adjusting feet and which are in engagement with the section of the cardboard box provided as a lid element of the box, are pivoted from a horizontal position by 90 ° into a vertical position and thereby move the lid element in such a way that the Box is opened.
  • the lid closers arranged on both sides of the box are each equipped with an angle element at the end in such a way that, at the same time as the lid closer is pivoted, the side and front flaps of the cardboard boxes are also pivoted by 90°, preferably along pre-embossed crease lines, i.e. they are erected relative to the bottom element of the box.
  • the finished folded box with the lid open is then located within the folding frame arranged between the adjustable feet.
  • the lid closers arranged on both sides of the box then carry out a further rotational movement, preferably by 90°, in a direction facing away from the vertical struts of the angle element, so that the box is closed as intended.
  • the filled box can now be removed from the folding device, whereupon the lid closers are then moved back into the folding device by a total of 180° Starting position can be pivoted before another box is moved into the folding frame by means of the belt drive and the folding process described above is carried out again.
  • the invention further comprises a folding device which has an angle frame, comprising at least two angle elements arranged at a distance from one another which corresponds at least to the width of the cardboard box to be supplied, each of which has an adjustable foot, on which, preferably on the right Angles, in each case a vertical strut is articulated, are constructed, with these vertical struts from each other at a distance that corresponds at least to the width of the cardboard box to be fed, each away from the base of the folding device, a magazine frame that is open on the side surface facing the vertical struts, which is at least through the Vertical struts, the installation surface, the belt drive and a hollow tube formed on at least one of the two vertical struts, which is preferably arranged on the top side of the installation surface, and into which an at least essentially L-shaped plug-in tube is inserted in such a way that this hollow tube and the inserted plug-in tube, which at least partially surrounds the vertical cardboard boxes, is constructed, wherein a belt drive
