  • the positions of the lines can be detected accurately, and, by determining a defective nozzle based on the difference in pitch from the adjacent line, it is possible to detect deflection at a nozzle even when there is a scanning magnification error.

  • the “liquid discharging head” is a function component that discharges/sprays liquid from a discharge hole (nozzle).
  • a discharge energy generating means such as a piezoelectric actuator (a layered piezoelectric element and a thin film piezoelectric element), a thermal actuator that uses a thermoelectric transducer such as a heat element, or an electrostatic actuator including a vibrating plate and facing electrodes, but the discharge energy generating means to be used is not limited to any particular means.
  • liquid discharging apparatus is applied as the inkjet recording apparatus 1, but without limitation thereto, the liquid discharging apparatus may be applied to a printer for a continuous slip.
  • FIG. 14 is a schematic illustrating an overall structure of another inkjet recording apparatus 1a.

  • the recording medium Pa is continuous paper wound in a roll (roll paper), and the recording medium Pa is taken out from the sheet feeding unit 100a by the conveyance roller, and conveyed above a platen 600 of the image forming unit 200a, and wound by the paper ejecting unit 400a.
  • the inkjet recording apparatus 1a may include a pre-processing unit that applies a pre-treatment liquid to the recording medium Pa, and a pre-process drying unit for drying the recording medium Pa applied with the pre-treatment liquid.
  • the tension across the paper may vary in the direction perpendicularly intersecting with the conveyance direction (the main-scanning direction), and the paper may become offset toward one side due to degree of parallelization of the conveyance rollers, for example. This may cause the recording medium to meander.
  • Control for correcting such paper meandering of paper is achieved by disposing a sensor for detecting a paper edge along a conveying path, detecting the amount by which the paper becomes offset toward one side, and tilting the conveyance roller in accordance with the detected amount. This correction may cause the paper to meander.
  • This meandering is detected as a low-frequency vibration (of several hertz).
  • any of the above-described apparatus, devices or units can be implemented as a hardware apparatus, such as a special-purpose circuit or device, or as a hardware/software combination, such as a processor executing a software program.

Claims (6)

  1. Flüssigkeitsabgabevorrichtung (1), Folgendes umfassend:
    eine Transporteinheit (210), die derart konfiguriert ist, dass sie ein Aufzeichnungsmedium (P) transportiert;
    einen Flüssigkeitsabgabekopf (220C, 220M, 220Y, 220K) einschließlich Düsen, die linear angeordnet und derart konfiguriert sind, dass sie Flüssigkeit auf das von der Transporteinheit (210) transportierte Aufzeichnungsmedium (P) abgeben;
    einen Scanner (231, 232), der derart eingerichtet ist, dass eine Hauptabtastrichtung des Scanners (231, 232) auf eine Richtung ausgerichtet ist, in der die Düsen des Flüssigkeitsabgabekopfes angeordnet sind;
    eine Diagrammerzeugungseinheit (101), die derart konfiguriert ist, dass sie ein Diagramm zum Erfassen defekter Düsen (C) erzeugt, in dem Linien in einer Nebenabtastrichtung angeordnet sind, die den jeweiligen Düsen des Flüssigkeitsabgabekopfes entsprechen; und
    eine Positionserfassungseinheit (102), die derart konfiguriert ist, dass sie einen Interpolationsprozess an Pixelwerten einer Vielzahl von Pixeln um eine Linienposition herum durchführt, die aus Pixelwerten von abgetasteten Daten des durch den Scanner (231, 232) abgetasteten Diagramms zum Erfassen defekter Düsen erfasst wird, und eine Position als eine Linienposition erfasst, bei der ein aus dem Interpolationsprozess abgeleitetes Differential einer Interpolationsfunktion Null ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Länge der Linien in dem Diagramm zum Erfassen defekter Düsen (C) auf eine Länge gleich oder größer als zwei Perioden eingestellt ist, wobei die zwei Perioden einer längeren unter Perioden entsprechen, die Frequenzen relativer Schwingungen des Flüssigkeitsabgabekopfes und des Scanners (231, 232) in Bezug auf die Transporteinheit entsprechen,
    wobei die Positionserfassungseinheit (102) einen Mittelwert von Pixeln, welcher der Länge gleich oder größer als die zwei Perioden entspricht, in der Nebenabtastungsrichtung in einem Prozess der Erfassung der Linien in dem Diagramm zum Erfassen defekter Düsen (C) verwendet.
  2. Flüssigkeitsabgabevorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Diagrammerzeugungseinheit derart konfiguriert ist, dass sie die Linien schrittweise in der Nebenabtastrichtung anordnet, wobei jede Linie einer jeweiligen Düse des Flüssigkeitsabgabekopfes entspricht.
  3. Flüssigkeitsabgabevorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei ein Abtastzyklus des Scanners in der Nebenabtastrichtung eine solche Länge hat, dass eine Abtastauflösung in der Nebenabtastrichtung geringer ist als eine Abtastauflösung in der Hauptabtastrichtung.
  4. Flüssigkeitsabgabevorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Positionserfassungseinheit derart konfiguriert ist, dass sie eine Spline-Interpolation als den Interpolationsprozess durchführt.
  5. Flüssigkeitsabgabevorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die Positionserfassungseinheit derart konfiguriert ist, dass sie feststellt, dass eine Düse defekt ist, wenn eine Differenz zwischen einem Mittelwert oder einem Median von Abständen zwischen Linien in einer Reihe, berechnet auf der Grundlage der Abstände, und einem Abstand zwischen einer interessierenden Linie und einer an die interessierende Linie angrenzenden Linie gleich oder größer als ein vorbestimmter Wert ist.
  6. Flüssigkeitsabgabevorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die Positionserkennungseinheit feststellt, dass eine Düse defekt ist, wenn eine Differenz zwischen einem Mittelwert oder einem Median von Abständen zwischen mehreren Linien um eine interessierende Linie, berechnet auf der Grundlage der Abstände, und einem Abstand zwischen der interessierenden Linie und einer an die interessierende Linie angrenzenden Linie gleich oder größer als ein vorbestimmter Wert ist.
