Description

The present invention relates to a drainage device for at least partial installation in the floor of a room according to the preamble of claim 1.

A drainage device of the aforementioned type is from the DE 20 2008 003 009 U1 known. In the drainage device described therein, two channel-shaped parts are provided which run at an angle of 90 to one another and serve as water collecting surfaces. The drainage device further comprises a housing part with a substantially square cross section, which is closed on its top by a lid and has an opening on two of its side walls for the two trough-shaped parts that open into these openings. A lower opening is provided in the bottom of the housing part for the drainage of water that has entered from the side.

Another drainage device for at least partial installation in the floor of a room is from EP 3 064 667 A1 known. In the drainage device described therein, an elongated water collecting surface is provided with a central opening, with a housing part designed as a substructure frame being attached in the area of the opening, which extends downwards from the water collecting surface. The disadvantage here is that the water collecting surface can be very long, so that both the storage and the transport of the drainage device are complex. Furthermore, the water collecting area can only be adapted as a whole to any slope of the ground.

From the EP 3 366 852 A1 Another drain device is known for at least partial installation in the floor of a room. In the drainage device described therein, an elongated water collecting surface with a central opening is provided, with a trough-shaped part with a lower opening being provided below the water collecting surface. In the area of the opening of the trough-shaped part, a housing part designed as a subframe is attached, which extends downwards from the trough-shaped part.

From the DE 10 2004 049 944 A1 Another drain device is known for at least partial installation in the floor of a room. In the drainage device described therein, a drainage channel is provided with a central opening, under which a drainage pot is arranged, into which the water that has escaped from the opening can enter.

From the US 5,911,518 A Another drain device is known for at least partial installation in the floor of a room. In the drainage device described therein, a first gutter-like housing part is provided with an upper and a lower opening. Two second channel-like housing parts are optionally provided, which can connect to the first housing part on the left and right.

The problem underlying the present invention is the creation of a drainage device of the type mentioned at the outset, the transport and storage of which is less complex and/or which can be adapted more flexibly to different local requirements.

This is achieved by a drain device of the type mentioned at the outset with the characterizing features of claim 1. The subclaims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention.

According to claim 1 it is provided that the drain device comprises a drain body into which the water emerging from the lower opening of the housing part can enter, the drain body being able to be connected directly or indirectly to an on-site drain pipe, and that the expansion of the water collecting surface in the transverse direction is less than a third of the extension of the housing part in the transverse direction of the water collecting surface and that the drainage device is designed such that the water enters from the water collecting surface via the upper edge of the housing part into the upper opening of the housing part. The drain device includes an odor trap which, when installed, is at least partially arranged in the drain body.

Due to the attachability, the water collecting surfaces can be stored and transported in a state that is not connected to the housing part, which significantly simplifies storage and transport. Furthermore, the water collecting surface can be made visually very inconspicuous due to the smaller extent in the transverse direction.

It can be provided that the water collecting surface can be pivotably attached or attached to the housing part, so that the water collecting surface can be pivoted up or down during assembly in order to enable adaptation to a slope of the floor. This allows the water collecting surfaces to be stored and transported in a state that is not connected to the housing part, making storage and transport easier be simplified. Furthermore, for example, the inclination of the water collecting surface can be adapted to an on-site slope specified by the laying of tiles. The gradient can be created, for example, by layers of tile adhesive of different thicknesses.

It can be provided that the drainage device comprises a gutter-like part on which the water collecting surface is formed, the gutter-like part being attached to the housing part, in particular releasably, attachable or detachable. For example, the gutter-like parts can have the shape of a rectangular gutter that is open at the top or have a part-circular cross-section that is open at the top, with the water collecting surfaces being accessible from above.

There is the possibility that the drainage device comprises two elongated water collecting surfaces, which are in particular each formed on a gutter-like part, the water collecting surfaces being spaced apart from one another in the assembled state, in particular wherein the water collecting surfaces in the assembled state can be attached or are attached to sides of the housing part facing away from one another . In this way, gutter-like parts with water collecting surfaces can extend on both sides of the housing part, so that water can be drained away from a very large area if the water collecting surfaces are of the appropriate length.

It can be provided that the drain device comprises more than two elongated water collecting surfaces, which are in particular each formed on a gutter-like part, the drain device having two or more housing parts to which the water collecting surfaces can be attached or are attached.

For example, two housing parts and three trough-like parts can be provided, with a trough-like part adjoining the outside of the housing parts and a trough-like part continuing to extend between the housing parts. In this way, the water-draining area can be further enlarged.

It is possible that the at least one water collecting surface can be attached to the housing part by a positive connection, in particular by a latching connection or a sliding-rotary connection. In this way, the at least one water collecting surface or the gutter-like part can be easily connected to the housing part and detached from the housing part again if necessary.

Alternatively, it can be provided that the at least one water collecting surface can be attached to the housing part by a screw connection or an adhesive connection. Such connection methods can also be used to connect the at least one water collecting area or the gutter-like part to the housing part on the construction site.

It can be provided that the housing part comprises a, in particular rectangular, frame to which the at least one water collecting surface, in particular the gutter-like part, can be attached or attached. The housing part can include a subframe, in particular in the form of a rectangular tube, which extends downwards from the frame when installed. The frame can, for example, have connecting parts with the help of which the gutter-like parts can be attached to the frame. The substructure frame can be vertical It can be cut to length in order to adapt it to the thickness of the floor structure.

The drainage device is designed so that the water from the water collecting surface or from the water collecting surfaces enters the upper opening of the housing part via the upper edge of the housing part.

There is the possibility that the trough-like part has a smaller extent in its transverse direction than the housing part in the transverse direction of the trough-like part, preferably where the extent of the trough-like part in the transverse direction is less than half, in particular less than a third, of the extent of the housing part in the transverse direction of the gutter-like part. This means that the water collecting area can be made visually very inconspicuous. For example, if the width is correspondingly small, the gutter-like parts can be inserted into joints between tiles.

In the figures, identical and functionally identical parts are provided with identical reference numbers.

In the Fig. 1 to Fig. 8 illustrated embodiments of a drainage device according to the invention each include two narrow ones gutter-like parts 1, 2, each of which has an elongated water collecting surface 3, 4. The drainage device further comprises a housing part 5, which has a rectangular frame 6 and a substructure frame 7 in the form of a rectangular tube which extends downwards from the frame 6 (see for example Fig. 3 ).

The frame 6 is open at the top and thus forms an upper opening 8 into which water can enter. The two gutter-like parts 1, 2 can be attached to the frame 6, so that water flowing over the water collecting surfaces 3, 4 can reach the upper opening of the frame 6.

The drain device further comprises a drain body 9, which has an upper opening into which water emerging from a lower opening 10 of the housing part 5 or the subframe 7 can enter. At least one drain connection 11 is formed on the drain body 9 and can be connected to a drain pipe provided by the customer.

The drain device further comprises an odor trap 12, which can be inserted into the drain body 9 from above. The drain device further comprises a sealing film 13, which is attached or can be attached to the top of the drain body 9. The sealing film 13 has an opening 14 through which water can enter the drain body 9 from the subframe 7 (see Fig. 1 ).

When the drain device is installed, a composite seal is applied to the sealing film 13, onto which tiles can in turn be applied. The subframe 7 can be cut to length to adapt it to the thickness of the tiles.

The device can include a cover 15 that can be inserted into the frame 6. The cover 15 may reduce the water inlet opening to a narrow gap surrounding the cover. In Fig. 6 two different variants of a cover 15, 16 are indicated. The cover 16 has an upper recess into which a tile part can be inserted.

Fig. 5 clarifies that the width b of the channel-like parts 1, 2 or the water collecting surfaces 3, 4 in the transverse direction is significantly smaller than the width B of the housing part 5 or the frame 6. In particular, the width b of the gutter-like parts 1, 2 or the water collecting surface in the transverse direction is less than half, in particular less than a third, of the width B of the housing part 5. With a correspondingly small width b, the gutter-like parts 1, 2 can fit into joints between two tiles be introduced.

It is possible to provide more than one housing part 5 and more than two gutter-like parts 1, 2. For example, two housing parts 5 and three trough-like parts 1, 2 can be provided, with a trough-like part 1, 2 adjoining the outside of the housing parts 5 and a trough-like part continuing to extend between the housing parts 5. In this way, water can be drained over a very large distance.

The 9a to 11d show various embodiments of the attachment of the channel-like parts 1, 2 to the housing part 5 or to the frame 6. Instead of the positive connections illustrated therein, which are designed in particular as a locking connection or as a sliding-turn connection, it is entirely possible to use other types of connection between the gutter-like one Parts 1, 2 and the housing part 5 or the frame 6 are to be provided. For example, the channel-like parts 1, 2 can be attached to the housing part 6 or to the frame 6 by a screw connection or an adhesive connection.

At the in Fig. 9a to Fig. 9d In the embodiment shown, a connecting part 17 is arranged on the frame 6 and has a web 18 projecting away from the frame 6 in the direction of the channel-like part 2. At the end, two tabs 19 projecting outwards in the transverse direction are formed on the web 18. The connecting part 17 also has two projections 20 on the frame side.

The gutter-like parts 1, 2, of which in Fig. 9a to Fig. 9d Only the right gutter-like part 2 is shown have a substantially M-shaped cross section, with the top of the parts 1, 2 being concavely rounded, so that an elongated water collecting surface 3, 4 is formed there.

A recess 22 is provided in each of the two M legs 21, into which one of the tabs 19 of the connecting part 17 can engage during assembly. The side of the M-legs 21 facing the frame 6 each has a recess 23 into which one of the projections 20 of the connecting part 17 can engage during assembly.

The end face of the frame 6 has a concave, rounded recess 24, the shape of which corresponds to the cross section of the water collecting surface 3, 4, so that the underside of the water collecting surface 3, 4 can rest on the top of the recess 24. As a result, the drainage device is designed in such a way that the water from the water collecting surface 4 or from the water collecting surfaces 3, 4 over the upper edge of the Housing part 5 or the frame 6 enters the upper opening 8 of the housing part 5.

Next to the recess 24 there are two slots 25 into which the exposed upper, front ends 26 of the M-legs 21 can engage during assembly.

Fig. 9b to Fig. 9d illustrate how the channel-like part 2 is connected to the frame 6 by a rotary-sliding movement in such a way that the tabs 19 are inserted into the recesses 22, the projections 20 into the recesses 23 and the front ends 26 of the M-legs 21 into the Slots 25 engage.

The last step of the connection movement is a rotating or pivoting movement. This enables the channel-like part 2 to be pivoted in the direction of arrow 27 (see Fig. 9d ) relative to the frame 6 in order to adapt the inclination of the water collecting surface 4 to a slope provided by the customer or a slope specified by the laying of the tiles.

In the embodiment according to 10a to 10d A connecting part 17 is also arranged on the frame 6, which has a web 18 with tabs 19 projecting outwards at the ends. In contrast to the embodiment according to 9a to 9d are in the embodiment according to Fig. 10a to 10d the recesses 22 in the M-legs 21 are undercut in the longitudinal direction of the channel-like part and made longer. A locking lug 28 is provided, over which the respective tab 19 must be moved during the assembly process (see Figs. 10c and 10d ). Im in Fig. 10d In the final state shown, the tabs 19 are each located in a downwardly closed section 29 of the recess 22. The connection is made by a sliding-locking movement achieved, the sliding movement of which takes place in the longitudinal direction of the channel-like parts.

In the embodiment according to Fig. 11a to 11d a connecting part 17 is also arranged on the frame 6, but in contrast to the embodiments of 9a to 10d does not have a web projecting away from the frame 6, but essentially corresponds to a bracket running around the end face of the frame 6.

In the connecting part 17 there are two locking recesses 30 on the outside and two slots 31 projecting from above into the connecting part 17 further inside. The M-legs 21 of the channel-like part 2 can engage in the slots 31 during assembly.

On the channel-like part 2, a transverse plate 32 is provided in the frame-side end region, which has two locking wedges 33 which can engage in the locking recesses 30 during assembly. The exposed upper, front ends 26 of the M-legs 21 extend beyond the plate 32 and can engage in the slots 25 of the frame 6 during assembly.

During assembly, the plate 32 is inserted from above between the bow-shaped connecting part 17 and the end face of the frame 6 (see Fig. 11b to 11d ). The connection is achieved by a sliding-locking movement, the sliding movement of which takes place in the vertical direction.

In the 9a to 11d gutter-like parts 1, 2 are shown with a rounded water collecting surface 3, 4. There is certainly the possibility that the water collecting surfaces 3, 4 are one Have a different shape, for example have a rectangular U-shaped cross section.
