Claims (9)

  1. A cover (10) for a slotted channel comprising a channel body (1) with upper edges (2, 3) for putting on the cover (10),
    wherein the cover (10) includes at least one horizontal sheet metal section (13) and two vertical sheet metal sections (11, 12) which are connected to one another via connection devices and include a slot (14) between one another for discharging liquid, e.g., surface water, into the channel body (1),
    further comprising an aligning element (40) for aligning covers positioned next to each other in a flush manner with a first and a second slot, wherein the aligning element (40) projects from a front end (17) of the first slot (14) and is pluggable into a front end (17) of the second slot,
    wherein the aligning element (40) is fastened by the connection devices of the vertical sheet metal sections (11, 12) to these sheet metal sections (11, 12),
    characterized in that
    the connection devices comprise elevations (21, 21') formed to be projecting towards one another from the two vertical sheet metal sections (11, 12) and being fastened on top of one another via clinch connections or clinching.
  2. The cover according to claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the horizontal sheet metal section (13) includes supporting profiles (30) extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the slotted channel and preferably having U-shaped cross-sections.
  3. The cover according to claim 2,
    characterized in that
    the supporting profiles (30) are connected to the horizontal sheet metal section (13) via clinch connections.
  4. The cover according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the horizontal sheet metal section (13) comprises drip-off devices (15) which are mounted and realized such that, when in use, water running along an underside (16) of the horizontal sheet metal section (13) drips off into the channel body (1).
  5. The cover according to claim 4,
    characterized in that
    the drip-off devices (15) comprise at least one bead molded in the horizontal sheet metal section (13) and preferably projecting downwards.
  6. The cover according to claim 4 or 5,
    characterized in that
    at least one bead (15) is mounted in each case between two supporting profiles (30).
  7. The cover according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the aligning element (40) is kept to be frictionally locking within the slot (14).
  8. The cover according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that
    the aligning element (40) is bent from sheet metal as a hollow body.
  9. The cover according to any one of the preceding claims,

    the aligning element (40) includes a spring device which is compressible in the direction of width of the slot (14) preferably having a limitation of the spring travel.
