Definitions
- the invention relates to a bedding made of a cover and a mixed fiber fleece as a bedding filling according to the preamble of the first claim for protection.
- a mixed fiber fleece and a method for its production are known EP 1 641 972 B1 , which as a bedding filling consists of a mixture of polyester fibers and kapok fibers, so that this mixed fiber fleece meets essential requirements with regard to sustained bulk and freedom from dust mites, which are each provided by one of the mixed fiber fleece components involved.
- Bedding fillings with the main components cellulose, kapok and new wool are also known, DE 20 2005 019 987.7 , which are also nonwoven to each other, here in particular the new wool is used to maintain the bulk.
- the object of the invention is to provide a bedding, including duvets, duvets and pillows, which contains no synthetic fibers and which is also free of any kind of animal hair and is therefore suitable for allergy sufferers and which creates a positive sleeping climate.
- the mixed fiber fleece consists at least of linen fibers and of cellulose regenerated fibers equipped with phase change material (PCM material).
- a mixed fiber fleece is made available, which consists primarily of the natural vegetable fiber linen, which has its origin in the flax plant and of a cellulose regenerated fiber, which has its origin in wood, for example from that of the eucalyptus tree.
- the linen fiber is one of the oldest plants cultivated by humans and can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp and quickly releasing this moisture into the ambient air, which makes such linen fibers particularly suitable for use in a mixed fiber fleece of bedding, especially because they also have bactericidal properties, inhibit itching, burning and inflammatory diseases, smooth, naturally waxed and therefore lint-free, as well as antistatic and dirt-repellent.
- linen fibers therefore offer many other advantages that would otherwise only be achievable with chemical additives, but which should be avoided as far as possible with regard to allergy-related side effects.
- the cellulose regenerate which is additionally equipped with a phase change material (PCM), which is present in the cold state in a solid aggregate state and liquefies in a warmed state, absorbing heat, offers itself as a warming part of the mixed fiber fleece according to the invention.
- PCM phase change material
- the cellulose regenerated fiber not only provides the required warming properties, but also brings with it an excellent temperature regulating property, which creates an optimal microclimate in a bedding stuffed with it, for example, initially absorb excess heat generated by the body of a sleeper and store it chemically and generate this heat again in colder ambient conditions and return it to the sleeper
- the PCM material essentially consists of paraffin bound in microcapsules, which is not migrating, i.e. remains permanently in the regenerated cellulose fiber, so that this heat conversion effect is maintained over the entire life of a bedding.
- the proportion of linen in the mixed fiber fleece is up to 90%, its minimum proportion being 20% in order to optimally achieve the desired effects, such as those of moisture absorption.
- the cellulose regenerate content in the mixed fiber fleece is up to 80%, but at least up to 10%, this cellulose regenerate content also serving to maintain a bulking power that the linen portion in the mixed fiber fleece essentially lacks.
- the regenerated cellulose fiber consists of a lyocell fiber, in which the PCM material is directly incorporated when the fiber is spun.
- the cellulose regenerated fiber also has perfect moisture management, which means that the bedding filling according to the invention clearly stands out from known bedding filling.
- the homogeneous nonwoven also leads to an even heat distribution and thus provides optimal sleeping experiences without containing allergenic substances.
- the linen fibers and the regenerated cellulose fibers are processed together in a fiber opening system with several fiber opening rollers to form the homogeneous mixed fiber fleece, after opening a layer of the mixed fiber fleece with a weight of only 10 g / m 3 is formed, so that several can be used as bedding filling
- Layers of the mixed fiber fleece are arranged crosswise one above the other and somewhat densely, so that the multilayer mixed fiber fleece as bedding filling then has a weight of 100 to 400 g / m 3 , which overall is still very bulky.
- the air contained in the bulk increases the advantages of the individual components over the entire mixed fiber fleece and the advantages of the bedding made from them.
- the cover does not consist of synthetic fibers or animal hair, but either of pure linen of very fine quality or it also consists of a blended fabric with at least 10% linen content, whereby a residual component can consist of cotton whose share is max. Is 90%.
- the bedding according to the invention thus provides a very effective alternative to known bedding in the allergy area, as does a combination of completely synthetic fiber-free materials in a combination with mutually complementary advantages.

Abstract
