  11. Appareil de transport de malade selon l'une des revendications 1 à 10, caractérisé en ce que la surface de couchage (14) comporte un cadre de maintien (97) doté de deux profilés (99) latéraux disposés des deux côtés de la surface de couchage (14) dotés de sections d'extension (96) extensibles dotées de pièces de préhension (97) pour le portage manuel de la surface de couchage (14) et/ou pour l'action manuelle du socle (12) sur la surface de couchage (14).
  12. Appareil de transport de malade selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que les sections d'extension (96) sont guidées dans les profilés (99) du cadre de maintien (98) de la surface de couchage (14) et sont extensibles hors de ceux-ci par le biais de leurs extrémités respectives à l'opposé l'une de l'autre et peuvent également être rétractées dans les profilés (99) par le biais de ces extrémités.
