Description

Domaine techniqueTechnical area

The present invention relates to the field of vacuum cleaners equipped with a vacuum cleaner nozzle, also called a suction head, making it possible to suck up dust and small-particle waste present on a surface.

Etat de la techniqueState of the art

Vacuum cleaners equipped with a vacuum cleaner nozzle are well known on the market, these making it possible to clean surfaces by suction for the evacuation of dust and waste of small particle size resting thereon. The surface to be vacuumed can for example be tiles, parquet, laminate, carpet or carpet.

A vacuum cleaner nozzle traditionally comprises a connecting sleeve and a sole provided with a lower face and with at least one suction channel communicating with the connecting sleeve and opening onto the lower face of the sole. The underside of the sole is intended to be positioned adjacent to the surface to be vacuumed during use of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.

It is known from the document FR 2 980 353 a sole of the vacuum cleaner nozzle having a substantially triangular shape and provided with a main suction channel opening into the lower face and extending along a first direction of extension which is substantially transverse to a direction of movement of the nozzle d vacuum cleaner, and a secondary suction channel opening into the lower face and extending along a second direction of extension which is substantially parallel to the direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, the secondary suction channel being fluidly connected to the main suction channel.

In conditions of use of such a vacuum cleaner nozzle, part of the waste sucked up by the vacuum cleaner nozzle follows the path formed by the main suction channel and is evacuated by a suction duct with which the sole is provided. , while another part of the waste sucked up by the vacuum cleaner nozzle follows the secondary suction channel before being evacuated also through the suction duct. Thus, the presence of the main and secondary suction channels provides such a vacuum cleaner nozzle with an improved suction capacity compared to triangular-shaped nozzles without a secondary suction channel.

However, the suction efficiency of such a vacuum cleaner nozzle, and in particular at the level of the secondary suction channel, can sometimes prove insufficient to ensure suction of large waste (of the order of a few grams) when the vacuum cleaner equipped with such a nozzle has relatively low suction flow rates.

Résumé de l'inventionSummary of the invention

The present invention aims to remedy all or part of these drawbacks.

The technical problem underlying the invention consists in particular in providing a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a reliable and economical structure, while guaranteeing improved suction performance.

To this end, the present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a sole having a substantially triangular shape and comprising first and second side edges forming a front tip of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, the sole being provided with a lower face, a main suction channel opening into the lower face and extending along a first direction of extension which is substantially transverse, and for example substantially perpendicular, to a direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, and a channel secondary suction channel opening into the underside and extending in a second direction of extension which is substantially parallel to the direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, the secondary suction channel being fluidly connected to the suction channel main, characterized in that the underside of the sole has a front part extending from a front edge of the main suction channel to the vicinity of the front tip of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, and for example to the front tip of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, the front part of the underside being substantially planar and being inclined so that, when the sole is placed on a surface to be cleaned, the front tip of the vacuum cleaner nozzle is closer to the surface to be cleaned than the front edge of the main suction channel.

Such a configuration of the front part of the underside of the sole has the consequence of reducing the passage section of the air flow at the level of the front tip of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, and therefore of increasing the speeds of air flow at the front tip of the squeegee. Such an increase in suction speeds at the front tip of the squeegee improves the suction of large waste via the secondary suction channel and the evacuation of this waste towards the main suction channel. Thus, the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the present invention has optimum suction efficiency, and therefore improved suction performance.

Description détailléedetailed description

The figures 1 to 6 represent a vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 comprising a sole 3, for example made of plastic material, having a generally triangular shape. The sole 3 comprises first and second side edges 4, 5 forming a front tip 6 of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2, and a rear edge 7 which is substantially perpendicular to a direction of movement D of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2. Advantageously , the first and second side edges 4, 5 of the sole 3 form an acute angle.

The sole 3 is in particular provided with a lower face 8 comprising a front part 9 which is substantially planar and which has a generally triangular shape, and a rear part 11 which has a generally rectangular shape.

The sole 3 further comprises a main suction channel 12 extending over and opening into the rear part 11 of the lower face 8. Advantageously, the main suction channel 12 extends along a first direction of extension D1 which is transverse, and for example substantially perpendicular, to the direction of movement D of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2.

The main suction channel 12 has a front edge 12a and a rear edge 12b which are parallel to each other. Thus, the suction channel main 12 advantageously has a generally rectangular shape.

De façon avantageuse, le canal d'aspiration principal 12 présente une hauteur qui diminue depuis une portion centrale du canal d'aspiration principal 12 et vers chacune des portions d'extrémité opposées du canal d'aspiration principal 12.Advantageously, the main suction channel 12 has a height which decreases from a central portion of the main suction channel 12 and towards each of the opposite end portions of the main suction channel 12.

The front part 9 of the lower face 8 extends more particularly from the front edge 12a of the main suction channel 12 to the front tip 6 of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2, and is advantageously inclined so that, when the sole 3 is arranged on a surface to be cleaned, the front tip 6 of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 is closer to the surface to be cleaned than the front edge 12a of the main suction channel 12. The front part 9 of the lower face 8 is inclined with respect to the horizontal by an angle of inclination comprised for example between 1 and 6°, and advantageously between 1 and 4°, when the sole 3 is placed on the surface to be cleaned.

The sole 3 also comprises a secondary suction channel 13 extending over and opening into the front part 9 of the lower face 8. Advantageously, the secondary suction channel 13 extends along a second direction of extension D2 which is substantially parallel to the direction of movement D of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2. The secondary suction channel 13 has a rear end portion 13a opening into the main suction channel 12, and more particularly into the central portion of the channel main suction 12, and a front end portion 13b opening near the front tip 6 of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.

De façon avantageuse, la portion d'extrémité avant 13b du canal d'aspiration secondaire 13 présente une hauteur qui diminue en direction de la pointe avant 6 du suceur d'aspirateur 2.Advantageously, the front end portion 13b of the secondary suction channel 13 has a height which decreases in the direction of the front tip 6 of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2.

The vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 also comprises an attachment part 14 to which is intended to be attached an end piece of a suction tube 15 of a vacuum cleaner (not shown), the suction tube 15 possibly being rigid or flexible and being itself connected to a suction system of the vacuum cleaner. Various variants of vacuum cleaners already exist on the market and can be used with the nozzle vacuum cleaner 2 according to the invention; these variants being known to those skilled in the art, they are not detailed in the present patent application.

La partie de fixation 14 comporte plus particulièrement un manchon de fixation 14.1 auquel est destiné à être fixé le tube d'aspiration 15, et deux branches 14.2 solidaires du manchon de fixation 14.1 et montées articulées sur la semelle 3.According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the fixing part 14 is pivotally mounted on the sole 3 about a transverse pivot axis A which is substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement D of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2. The part 14 more particularly comprises a fixing sleeve 14.1 to which the suction tube 15 is intended to be fixed, and two branches 14.2 integral with the fixing sleeve 14.1 and mounted articulated on the sole 3.

Thus, the fixing part 14 can tilt backwards or forwards with respect to the sole 3, as illustrated respectively by the arrows F1 and F2 on the figure 5 .

The sole 3 further comprises a suction duct 16 comprising a first end defining a suction orifice 17 opening into the central part of the main suction channel 12, and a second end fluidly connected to the fixing sleeve 14.1, for example via a flexible connecting conduit 18.

According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the secondary suction channel 13 comprises a deflection part 19 located in the vicinity of the suction orifice 17. The deflection part 19 is more particularly configured to increase a vertical speed d a flow of air flowing at the level of the suction orifice 17. Advantageously, the deflection part 19 comprises an inclined face 21 which is inclined towards the surface to be cleaned in an air flow direction in the secondary suction channel 13, so that the passage section of the secondary suction channel 13 is reduced, and a downstream ramp 22 which is inclined away from the surface to be cleaned and which connects the inclined face 21 to suction port 17.

Advantageously, the wheels of movement 23 are arranged on each side of the fixing part 14. According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the transverse pivot axis A is slightly offset forwards with respect to the axis of rotation of the displacement wheels 23. One could however provide variants of vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 according to which the transverse pivot axis A corresponds substantially with the axis of rotation of the displacement wheels 23 or is slightly offset downwards and/or towards the rear opposite the axis of rotation of the transport wheels 23.

The vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 further comprises a first side brush 24 extending along the first side edge 4 of the sole 3, a second side brush 25 extending along the second side edge 5 of the sole 3 and a rear brush 26 extending along the rear edge 7 of the sole. According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the first and second side brushes 24, 25 and the rear brush 26 are mounted fixed relative to the sole 3.
