Definitions
- the invention relates to a turbo machine, in particular a turbo compressor, comprising a rotor which is at least partially arranged in a housing and extends along an axis of rotation, the turbo machine having at least one radial bearing in which the rotor is radially supported on a radial bearing, the radial bearing is designed as an oil-lubricated plain bearing, the rotor in the axial area of the radial bearing point having a hollow chamber in a circumferential direction in the area of the outer 20% of the diameter of the radial bearing point of the rotor, which is located between a radially inner core area of the rotor in the area of the radial bearing point and the the area of the rotor located radially on the outside in the area of the radial bearing is thermally insulated.
- the invention has therefore set itself the task of providing corresponding rotors of turbo machines with such thermal insulation at the bearing point, if such a measure is sensible.
- radial, axial, tangential or circumferential direction each refer to the axis of the rotor, unless otherwise stated.
- the radial bearing according to the invention can also be designed as a combined radial-axial bearing and in any case serves to support static and dynamic radial bearing forces.
- the quotient is QLO naturally always less than 1 because the overhang OVH cannot be greater than the total length TLE of the rotor.
- core area of the rotor used by the invention relates to that area which extends radially is located inside of the hollow chamber according to the invention for thermal insulation.
- the core area is the essential component of the rotor in the area of the radial bearing for the absorption of static and dynamic forces.
- the hollow chamber in the area of the radial bearing weakens the rotor cross section, so that the essential strength properties are determined by the core area.
- a preferred embodiment of the hollow chamber consists in applying a sleeve to the rotor in the area of the radial bearing point, which sleeve defines the hollow chamber radially outward with a surface located radially on the inside.
- This sleeve can have a recess on the radially inner surface and / or can be positioned via a corresponding recess on the rotor in the area of the radial bearing, so that the hollow chamber extends radially into the area of the sleeve and / or the core area of the rotor radially decimated.
- the radial bearing is designed in such a way that a static bearing pressure is greater than 6 bar. It has been shown that such an arrangement has a particular tendency to develop the Morten effect.
- the turbomachine is designed for a nominal operating state with a circumferential speed> 60 m / s on the outermost circumference of the bearing journal (section of the shaft or of the rotor in the area of the radial bearing).
- the nominal operating state refers to the existence of those operating parameters of the machine with which the operation takes place most of the time.
- the invention is used with particular advantage when the protruding first shaft end has a coupling, the mass of the coupling being at least 2% of the total mass of the rotor. For such an arrangement, a measure against the Morten effect is extremely useful.
- the use of the invention is particularly preferred when the weight of the overhang mass is at least 12% of the bearing load of the radial bearing. Furthermore, the use of the invention is particularly expedient when the overhang has a center of mass that is closer to the axial end of the rotor than to the axial center point of the radial bearing.
- the use of the invention is particularly useful if the rotor is designed for nominal operation in such a way that at nominal speed an imbalance centrifugal force of the overhang at 1 ° bend on the radial bearing is at least 60% of the static bearing force in the radial bearing.
- a radial height of the hollow chamber is less than 10%, preferably less than 5% of the rotor diameter at the radial bearing position.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a turbo machine according to the invention, namely a turbo compressor TCO.
- the longitudinal section is shown as a simple line drawing, with a rotor R and a housing CAS that partially surrounds the rotor R.
- the rotor R carries three rotating impellers, namely a first impeller IMP1, a second impeller IMP2 and a third impeller IMP3.
- the rotor R extends along a rotor axis X and is mounted radially by means of two radial bearings RB.
- the radial bearing RB arranged on the left is designed as a fixed bearing and accordingly has a connected axial bearing, which is not shown in further detail.
- This radial bearing supports the rotor R between a first shaft end RN1 and the rest of the rotor R.
- the radial bearing RB on the right divides the rotor by means of this radial bearing into a second shaft end RN2 and the rest of the rotor R.
- the radial bearing RBP of the left-hand radial bearing RB is on the right arranged by the first impeller IMP1, so that the first impeller IMP1 is designed as an overhang and accordingly as part of an overhang OVH of the rotor R.
- a coupling CP for coupling to other rotary machines, for example a drive.
- a coupling CP ' (optionally designed here) can also be provided on the second shaft end RN2.
- the rotor R has the total length TLE and the overhang OVH has an overhang length OVL.
- the overhang OVH also has an overhang mass OVM, which is in a certain ratio to the total mass TMS of the rotor R.
- a bearing load BLO and a static bearing pressure SBP resulting from the bearing load BLU are shown by way of example on the left radial bearing RB.
- the outermost circumference CMX of the rotor R is also shown schematically on the first impeller IMP1, at which the maximum circumferential speed RSP results in the circumferential direction CDR in a nominal operation.
- FIG Figure 2 shows details of the formation of a thermally insulating cavity at the radial bearing point RBP of the left radial bearing RB in FIG Figure 1 .
- the hollow chamber CAV is formed here by means of a sleeve SLV which is shrunk onto the first shaft end RN1 in the area of the radial bearing RBP.
- a radial recess with the radial height RHT is located axially between two shrink seats of the sleeve SLV on the radial inside of the sleeve SLV.
- the rotor R has a rotor diameter RDM, the radial height RHT of the hollow chamber being less than 10%, preferably less than 5% of the rotor diameter RDM. In this way the desired thermal insulation effect is achieved.
- Figure 3 shows schematically a bend of the first shaft end RN1 by an angle ⁇ in the area of the radial bearing RBP, so that the center of mass MSPOV of the overhang OV (to be distinguished from the center of mass MSP of the entire rotor R and the eccentricity EXT of the center of mass MSP to the rotor axis X) eccentric about an eccentricity EXT2 relocated.

Description
- QLO:
- 1. Quotient
- OVH
- Überhang (in Längeneinheit, z. B. mm)
- TLE:
- Gesamtlänge (Längeneinheit, z. B. mm).
- QUT:
- 2. Quotient
- OVM:
- Überhangmasse (in kg)
- TMS:
- Gesamtmasse (in kg).
- In
