Definitions
- the invention relates to an awning fastening system for fastening an awning to a camping vehicle, with a first holder, with first fastening means for fastening the first holder, with a second holder and with second fastening means for fastening the second holder, the second holder in the assembled state being a fuse of the first fastening means against unintentional loosening, in that the first fastening means comprise a screw and the second holder in the assembled state comprises a stop surface which is at least approximately perpendicular to the axis of the screw, abuts the screw and blocks movement of the screw in the loosening direction.
- Such an awning attachment system is from the US 5,016,699 known.
- the stop surface on which the screw rests is formed by a sealing strip which is supported on a surface of one leg of an awning hood fastening which forms the second fastening means.
- the EP 1 816 277 A1 and the DE 26 09 824 A1 disclose awning attachment systems that include brackets with which the respective awning can be attached to a mounting surface.
- the disadvantage of these awning fastening systems is that the screws used to fasten the respective bracket are not secured against unintentional loosening.
- Such awning fastening systems are already known.
- a disadvantage of known systems is that securing their fastening means against unintentional loosening is not reliable or convenient to use to the desired extent or is inexpensive to manufacture.
- the invention has set itself the task of creating a fastening system which is improved at least with regard to one of the disadvantages mentioned. This object is achieved by the awning fastening system reproduced in claim 1.
- the awning fastening system is used to fasten an awning to a camping vehicle, for example a camping bus.
- the awning fastening system is preferably used to fasten an awning to the roof of a camping vehicle.
- the awning preferably has an awning housing.
- the awning fastening system is preferably used to fasten an awning housing to a camping vehicle.
- the awning fastening system has a first holder and first fastening means for fastening the first holder.
- the first holder can be fastened directly to the camping vehicle by means of the first fastening means. However, it is preferably not directly attachable to the camping vehicle, but to another element of the fastening system.
- the first fastening means are preferably not used to fasten the first holder to the second holder.
- the awning fastening system has a second holder and second fastening means for fastening the second holder.
- the second holder secures the first fastening means against unintentional loosening.
- unintentional loosening means in particular loosening due to vibrations occurring during the journey.
- the first fastening means preferably comprise a screw.
- the second holder preferably comprises a stop surface, which preferably runs at least approximately perpendicular to the axis of the screw.
- the stop surface preferably blocks movement of the screw, preferably in the loosening direction.
- the abutment surface preferably abuts the screw, preferably the screw head. Unscrewing the screw of the first fastening means by vibration or unwanted movement is preferably prevented by the stop surface.
- the fastening means can also comprise a nut and, in the assembled state, the second holder can provide a stop surface which rests on the nut and blocks movement of the nut, preferably in the release direction.
- loosening direction is preferably meant the direction in the axial direction of the screw or nut in which the screw or nut moves during loosening.
- the system preferably comprises a plurality of first holders, preferably exactly two first holders.
- the first brackets are preferably arranged at a distance from one another in the direction of travel of the camping vehicle.
- the awning fastening system preferably comprises exactly one second holder, which further preferably interacts with a plurality of first holders.
- the second holder preferably extends over the two preferably spaced apart first holders.
- the second holder is preferably part of an awning housing.
- the system preferably comprises a third holder and more preferably third fastening means for fastening the third holder, preferably directly to the camping vehicle.
- the third fastening means preferably comprise a roof screw.
- An opening is preferably arranged on the third holder and is preferably penetrated by the roof screw.
- the roof screw preferably engages a thread on the camping vehicle.
- the first holder can preferably be fastened to the third holder by means of the first fastening means.
- the system is well adapted to the fastening conditions of the camping vehicle and on the other hand is suitable for different types of awnings, preferably with different types of awning housings.
- the third holder can be arranged in a depression running in the direction of travel, which is preferably several centimeters wide.
- the depression is preferably arranged on the roof of the camping vehicle.
- the depression can be a gutter.
- the third holder is preferably compatible with different first holders.
- Means are preferably provided which make it easier for the third holder to be compatible with different first holders.
- the third holder preferably has the shape of a "U", which is preferably open at the top in the mounting position. This can result in particularly good suitability for different first mounts.
- the first fastening means preferably have a bolt which preferably interacts with the third holder and more preferably has a transverse threaded bore. Bores are preferably arranged in the legs of the preferably "U" -shaped third holder, which are preferably opposite one another. The bolt preferably passes through these bores. Holes are preferably arranged in the first holder, which in the installed position are congruent with the holes in the third holder. The bolt preferably also passes through these bores.
- the first holder preferably has a coupling area which is adapted to the third holder.
- This coupling area preferably has the shape of a "U" which is open at the bottom in the mounting position and whose leg spacing is preferably greater than the spacing of the legs of the preferably "U" -shaped third bracket, so that the coupling area preferably the legs of the third bracket encompasses the outside, preferably at least largely without play.
- a narrower configuration of the “U” shape of the first holder and an engagement of the coupling area in the third holder from the inside are also conceivable.
- the bores of the first holder penetrated by the bolt are preferably arranged in the coupling region of the first holder and particularly preferably in the legs of the preferably "U" -shaped coupling region.
- the second fastening means preferably comprise guide surfaces, preferably two, which are preferably arranged on the first holder and preferably have an acute angle to one another, that is to say an angle which is less than 90 °.
- These guide surfaces preferably act with complementary guide surfaces arranged complementary thereto, preferably on the second holder first bracket, which preferably cooperate with further mating guide surfaces, preferably on the second bracket.
- the guide surfaces and the further guide surfaces are preferably spaced apart from one another — in the assembly position, preferably transversely to the direction of travel of the camping vehicle.
- a pressure screw is preferably provided, which preferably engages in a threaded bore, preferably on the first holder.
- the second holder can preferably be pressed into the acute angle of the guide surfaces, preferably by means of this pressure screw, preferably with its counter-guide surfaces.
- the first holder and / or the third holder and / or the second holder is preferably each formed by a profile.
- the length of the first bracket in the mounting position in the direction of travel of the camping vehicle can be less than 15 cm.
- the length of the second holder in the mounting position in the direction of travel of the camping vehicle is preferably greater than 2 m.
- the third holder preferably after it has been fastened to the first holder, preferably by means of the first fastening means, can be fastened to the camping vehicle, preferably by means of the third fastening means.
- the awning housing preferably comprising the second holder, can subsequently be fastened to the first holder, preferably to the two provided first holders.
- the second holder, or the awning housing preferably covers the screw of the first fastening means and thereby preferably prevents this screw from being unintentionally loosened.
- the awning fastening system is preferably without glue. As a result, it can be easily removed with advantage.
- the awning attachment system preferably does not require any changes, such as drilling, to the camping vehicle.
- the vehicle body of the camping vehicle advantageously remains intact.
- nes awning fastening system according to the invention is mounted on the camping vehicle.
- the exemplary embodiment of the awning fastening system (100) according to the invention for fastening an awning to a camping vehicle C has a first holder 1 and first fastening means 2 for fastening the first holder 1.
- Fig. 3 shows the awning fastening system 100 in the assembly position.
- the first fastening means 2 comprise a screw 2a.
- a second holder 3 is shown with second fastening means 4 for fastening the second holder 3 to the first holder 1.
- the second holder 3 secures the first fastening means 2 against unwanted loosening. This is achieved in that the second holder 3 in Fig. 3
- the assembled state shown provides a stop surface 5 which extends at least approximately perpendicular to the axis A of the screw 2a and bears against the screw head 2b of the screw 2a and blocks movement of the screw in the loosening direction R.
- the system comprises exactly two first brackets 1, which point in the direction of travel of the camping vehicle C are arranged at a distance from one another (not shown in the figures). Exactly a second bracket extends over the first two brackets 1 and is attached to both.
- the second bracket 3 is part 3a of an awning housing, not shown as a whole.
- the first bracket 1 is not, which is fundamentally conceivable, arranged directly on the camping vehicle C, but - by means of the first fastening means 2 - on a third bracket 6, which in turn is arranged directly on the camping vehicle C.
- the first bracket 1 is arranged between the second bracket 3, which is arranged in the assembly position above the first bracket 1 and the third bracket 6, which is arranged in the assembly position under the first bracket.
- the third holder 6 has the shape of a "U" in cross section, which is open at the top in the installed position. In this way, the third holder 6 forms a basis for different types of first holders 1.
- Two bores 9 lying opposite one another are arranged in the legs of the "U" -shaped third holder ( Fig. 1 ).
- the first fastening means 2 have a bolt 2c which has a transverse threaded bore 2d into which this screw 2a engages.
- first holder 1 In the first holder 1, two opposite holes 8 are arranged, which are congruent with the holes 9 of the third holder in the mounting position.
- the bolt 2c passes through all four bores 8, 9 of the first and third holder.
- the third fastening means 7 for fastening the third bracket 6 to the camping vehicle C comprise roof screws 7a which engage through openings which are designed as bores in the "bottom” of the "U” -shaped third bracket 6 and in standard threaded holes (in the Fig. Not shown) of the camping vehicle C intervene.
- the third brackets 6 can have a length perpendicular to the image plane in Fig. 3 have with the length of the first brackets 1 perpendicular to the image plane in Fig. 3 can match and can be smaller than 15 cm.
- the length of the second Bracket 3 perpendicular to the image plane in Fig. 3 corresponds to the length of the awning housing and is larger than 2 m.
- the first holder 1 has a coupling area K which is adapted to the third holder 6.
- This coupling area K preferably has the shape of a "U” which is open at the bottom in the mounting position and whose leg spacing is greater than the spacing of the legs of the "U" -shaped third bracket 6 such that the coupling area K at least the legs of the third bracket 6 encompasses largely without play from the outside.
- the bores 8 of the first holder 1 penetrated by the bolt 2c are arranged in the legs of the "U" -shaped coupling region K of the first holder 1.
- the "U" shape of the third holder 6 makes it easier for the third holders 6 to be compatible with different first holders 1. This is because they only have to have a coupling area K which is adapted to the "U" shape of the third holder.
- the third holder is arranged in a depression V running in the direction of travel F, which is several centimeters wide.
- the depression V is arranged on the roof of the camping vehicle C.
- the second fastening means 4 comprise two guide surfaces 10, 11, which are arranged on the first holder 1 and make an acute angle ⁇ to one another. These guide surfaces 10, 11 cooperate with complementary guide surfaces 12, 13 arranged on the second holder 3. Further corresponding two guide surfaces 14, 15 are arranged on the first holder 1, which interact with two further counter-guide surfaces 16, 17 on the second holder 3. The guide surfaces 10, 11 and the further guide surfaces 14, 15 are spaced apart from one another in the mounting position transverse to the direction of travel F of the camping vehicle C.
- a pressure screw 18 is provided which engages in a threaded bore 19 on the first holder 1 and presses the second holder 3 into the acute angle ⁇ of the guide surfaces 10, 11.
