Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a firearm with a removable barrel, which has a mounting rail connected to it, extending in the direction of the barrel's longitudinal axis, which is suitable, for example, for mounting a target optics that has an advantageous mounting device on the system housing for the barrel, whereby the invention in particular the field of firearms with interchangeable barrels can be used.
  • Firearms with exchangeable barrels are known in which the target optics are mounted on a separate component, the so-called barrel extension, located between the system housing and the barrel. With these firearms, however, the target optics must be recalibrated every time the barrel is changed.
  • a known mounting device for exchangeable barrels is a clamping device by means of which the barrel can be mounted directly on the system housing. This saves the barrel extension as an additional component.
  • a firearm is, for example, in the RU 2303227 C1 described.
  • an optical aiming device it is not possible to mount an optical aiming device directly on the barrel in the area of the cartridge chamber.
  • the exact retention between the barrel axis and the optical axis of the visor must be guaranteed by a new calibration after every barrel change.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a firearm with a removable barrel which does not have the disadvantages mentioned, in which in particular the parallelism between barrel axis and optical axis is retained after the barrel change and the barrel is particularly easy to assemble.
  • the object is achieved by a firearm according to claim 1.
  • the present invention thus provides a firearm with a detachable barrel, which comprises a system housing and a barrel, the barrel having a mounting rail connected to it and extending in the direction of the barrel's longitudinal axis, which is suitable for mounting target optics.
  • the system housing has a receptacle, by means of which the barrel is connected to the system housing, the receptacle being at least partially tubular in the direction of the barrel's longitudinal axis and the corresponding inside diameter of the barrel being adapted to the outside circumference of the barrel, so that the barrel during assembly of the barrel to the System housing inserted into the receptacle in the direction of the barrel longitudinal axis and can be guided out of the receptacle in the direction of the barrel longitudinal axis when the barrel is dismantled.
  • the receptacle has a recess in the pipe circumference which extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the barrel so that the receptacle describes an open ring shape in cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the barrel and in the region of the recess.
  • the barrel is axially fixed in relation to the barrel's longitudinal axis by at least one connecting element (4) and rotatably fixed at least in that the mounting rail extends in its longitudinal direction at least partially within the recess of the receptacle.
  • the rotational fixation works in such a way that, when the barrel is rotated, one of the edges of the receptacle running on the recess in the direction of the barrel's longitudinal axis hits one of the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail.
  • the mounting rail thus also functions as a means for fixing the barrel with respect to rotation about the barrel's longitudinal axis.
  • the barrel is pushed into the clamping device or into the receptacle in such a way that the mounting rail is guided through the slot or the recess in the clamping device until the barrel hits the system housing.
  • the clamping device is part of the system housing.
  • the firearm according to the invention is characterized by a particularly simple and safe assembly device for the barrel and enables barrel disassembly and reassembly without losing the sighting axis presetting with respect to the barrel axis.
  • the fixation with regard to rotation is additionally ensured by the at least one connecting element. This offers additional security and stability to the construction of the mounting device.
  • the connecting element is preferably a screw connection.
  • Further possible connecting elements can, for example, be pinned connections that are secured with a split pin, which, however, are less easily reproducible and therefore can be disadvantageous compared to screw connections when the barrel is changed frequently
  • the receptacle preferably has tabs pointing away from the barrel on the two edges running on the recess in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the barrel, such that the receptacle in the area of the tabs has the shape and function of a clamp into which the barrel is clamped.
  • the tabs provide a means of attaching fasteners. The clamping force can be transferred to the holder and finally to the barrel via the tabs.
  • a first of the at least one connecting element preferably comprises a screw, comprising a screw head and a bolt having a thread, the bolt extending through one of the tabs and through a longitudinal flank of the mounting rail into the mounting rail, the screw head resting on the outside of the tab and the thread of the bolt is screwed into a mating thread inside the mounting rail.
  • a second connecting element is preferably provided which corresponds to the first connecting element and is arranged opposite the first connecting element in relation to the vertical plane lying in the longitudinal axis of the barrel. Due to the symmetrical arrangement of the screws, one-sided deformations in the overall construction, for example due to material fatigue, are eliminated.
  • connection elements More preferably, a total of at least four and an even number of connection elements are provided, which are arranged in pairs corresponding to the first and the second connection element. This further increases the stability, in particular with regard to the tilt protection.
  • the tabs of the receptacle rest against the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail in a press fit. This represents a particularly strong connection, in particular with regard to the rotation lock of the barrel around its longitudinal axis.
  • the tabs of the receptacle are spaced apart from the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail, so that a press fit between the receptacle and the barrel only results on the outer circumferential surface of the barrel. As a result, the full clamping force is distributed particularly evenly over the outer circumference of the barrel.
  • the at least one connecting element comprises a screw, comprising a screw head and a bolt having a thread, and a lock nut and connects two tabs of the tabs located on the receptacle, which are opposite in relation to the vertical plane lying in the running axis, the screw head and the lock nut each resting on the outside of the opposite brackets and the bolt being guided through a continuous, horizontal and perpendicular to the direction of the longitudinal axis of the barrel in the mounting rail.
  • This will make the Mounting rail largely decoupled from the clamping force.
  • elastic deformation caused by opposing screws being tightened to different degrees is avoided, since here the clamping force that acts on one bracket from the screw head is identical to the clamping force that acts on the opposite bracket from the nut. This increases the accuracy of the firearm.
  • the tabs connected by the connecting element preferably rest against the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail in a press fit.
  • the tabs connected by the connecting element are spaced apart from the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail, so that a press fit between the receptacle and the barrel is only achieved on the outer circumferential surface of the barrel.
  • the at least one connecting element comprises a screw comprising a screw head and a bolt having a thread, the screw head resting on the outer circumferential surface of the tubular receptacle and the bolt being radially aligned with respect to the longitudinal axis of the barrel and extending through the Receiving through, extends into the barrel, the mating thread required for a screw connection being in the barrel. This also ensures both the axial and the rotational fixation of the barrel with just one screw in a particularly simple and secure manner.
  • the bolt of the screw is aligned radially to the barrel longitudinal axis
  • connecting elements there are four connecting elements in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the barrel, according to the at least one connecting element, which are distributed on the outer circumferential surface of the receptacle in such a way that two of them are opposite each other.
  • This symmetrical arrangement of the screws, which are each aligned radially to the longitudinal axis of the barrel, ensures a particularly even distribution of the clamping force and thus increases the accuracy of the firearm even further.
  • the edges of the receptacle that run on the recess in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the barrel are preferably in contact with the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail.
  • this facilitates the assembly of the barrel, since the holes provided for the connecting elements in the tubular section of the receptacle and in the barrel are already in register when the barrel is pushed into the receptacle.
  • the screws can thus be screwed in immediately without the aforementioned holes having to be brought into congruence beforehand by rotating the barrel about the barrel's longitudinal axis.
  • this also improves the fixation of the barrel with regard to rotation about the barrel's longitudinal axis.
  • the barrel has a radially outwardly extending projection (23) on its outer surface and the receptacle (31) has a thread (36) on its tubular outer circumference (33) on the front end section, on this thread (36) a pipe section (52) provided with an internal thread is screwed, which in an area in the longitudinal direction of the barrel has a radially inwardly extending projection at the front, so that the pipe section (52), guided over the barrel (2) from the front, on the projection (23) of the barrel (2) and fixes it in the axial direction by screwing it onto the thread (36) of the receptacle (31).
  • the at least one connecting element according to the invention therefore only exists from a single piece of pipe, which is passed over the barrel from the front during assembly of the barrel and screwed onto the thread on the mount.
  • the opening of the pipe section therefore has an inner diameter which is greater than that of the barrel, apart of course from the region of the barrel on which the said outwardly extending projection is located.
  • the area of the mating thread of the pipe section has an inner diameter that is larger than the outer diameter of the barrel in the area where the said ring is located, so that the mating thread of the pipe section can be guided over the projection of the barrel and screwed onto the thread of the receptacle .
  • Another region of the pipe section adjoining the mating thread has an inside diameter which is smaller than the outside diameter at the projection of the barrel.
  • the pipe section has, so to speak, a radially inwardly extending projection which, during assembly, abuts against the radially outwardly extending projection of the barrel.
  • the edges of the receptacle that run on the recess in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the barrel preferably bear against the longitudinal flanks of the mounting rail. This prevents the barrel from rotating about its longitudinal axis, which increases the wear resistance of the construction.
  • the firearm (1) shown represents an embodiment of the present invention. It comprises a barrel (2), a system housing (3), a mounting rail (21) and, by way of example, a target lens attached to the mounting rail (21).
  • the barrel (2) is clamped in a receptacle (31) which partially surrounds the rear part of the barrel (2) and which is fastened to the mounting rail (21) in the upper area with screws (4).
  • the mounting rail (21) can be mounted on the mounting rail (21), for example a "Picatinny Rail".
  • the mounting rail (21) is advantageously connected directly to the barrel (2), for example by means of a screw connection (see, for example, the enlarged section in Figure 5 ). It is also possible that the mounting rail (21) is connected to the barrel (2) in a materially bonded manner, for example by means of welding, so that the barrel (2) and the mounting rail (21) are present as an integral component.
  • the mounting rail (21) can advantageously protrude beyond the rear end of the barrel (2), as a result of which sighting devices can be attached directly above the locking area of the barrel (21).
  • the firearm (1) shown is the barrel (2) with the integrated mounting rail (21), as in Figure 2 shown, guided with its rear end into the receptacle (31) of the system housing (3).
  • the mounting rail (21) is guided within the recess (32) provided for it in the receptacle (31) ( Fig. 3 ).
  • the recess (32) are attached upwardly protruding tabs (34), through which the screws (4) are screwed to the mounting rail (21).
  • the receptacle (31) thus has the shape of a clamp (S) in cross section and also functions according to the same principle.
  • front refers in the context of the present invention to the position of the firearm which is usual when using a firearm, wherein the target optics (if present) is at the top, while the handle for the hand on the trigger points away from the firing axis (A) essentially downwards.
  • the projectile eventually emerges from the front of the firearm.
  • the opposite brackets (34) are connected to the mounting rail (21) with a total of eight screws (4) in the form of four pairs of screws, each of which has two screws (4) opposite one another.
  • the number of screws (4) is not restricted in principle. It is preferred that the screws (4) are arranged opposite one another in pairs. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 pairs of screws are particularly preferred.
  • Each additional pair of screws increases the anti-tipping or kink protection of the firearm (1).
  • Buckling or tilting is to be understood as the deformation of the firearm (1), for example as a result of a radial force acting on the front end of the barrel (2) in relation to the stationary system housing (3).
  • the tabs (34) lie directly against the longitudinal flanks (22) of the mounting rail (21) and are press-fitted with them.
  • the mating threads (25) to the screws (4) are located within the holes provided for the screw connections in the mounting rail (21).
  • the size and shape of the mounting rail (21) are not particularly restricted according to the invention.
  • the part of the outer circumference of the barrel (2) occupied by the mounting rail (21) should preferably be smaller than half the circumference of the barrel (2) in order to improve the clamping of the barrel (2). to achieve.
  • the mounting rail (21) can be wider than in the area of the flanks (22) and can be dimensioned as desired depending on the type of firearm and the intended add-on parts. All known or standardized mounting rails can be used. Examples of this are the Picatinny rail or the Weaver rail.
  • the mounting rail (21) is clamped between the opposite brackets (34).
  • the clamping effect here, however, also extends over the circumference of the tubular region of the receptacle (31) within which the outer circumference of the barrel (2) is clamped.
  • the screws (4) fix the barrel both axially and rotationally, while the mounting rail (21) also contributes to the rotational fixation due to the accuracy of fit with which it is located in the recess (32) of the receptacle (31).
  • the receptacle (31) is part of the system housing (3) and, as in FIG Figures 3 , 8th and 12 can be seen, preferably cohesively continued backwards into the area of the locking device.
  • the material thickness in the area of the surface (33) of the tubular section of the receptacle (31) is preferably designed in such a way that the screwing creates an elastic deformation through which the rear part of the barrel (2) is separated from the tubular section of the receptacle (31) is pinched.
  • FIG. 11 is an embodiment similar to that in FIGS Figures 1 to 5 shown.
  • the opposite brackets (34) are connected with screw connections, whereby the barrel (2) is clamped.
  • a screw (4) with its bolt (42) is passed through completely from one bracket (34) to the other bracket (34) through a through hole in the mounting rail (21) and on the one opposite the screw head (41) Side secured with a lock nut (51).
  • This design ensures that the clamping forces acting on the opposite straps are identical, because the force acting from the screw head (41) corresponds to the counterforce acting from the nut.
  • the bore in the interior of the mounting rail (21) therefore has no mating thread, which decouples the mounting rail (21) from the clamping force to a certain extent.
  • the spacing of the tabs (34) from the longitudinal flanks (22) of the mounting rail (21) further increases the freedom of design of the mounting rail (21), since the flanks (22) no longer have to be designed to accommodate the tabs (34) .
  • the mounting rail (21) can therefore be designed to be flatter, for example, as shown in the illustration of the cross-section CC of Figure 6 compared to the cross section DD in Figure 5 is shown by way of example.
  • FIG. 7 to 10 a further embodiment is shown.
  • This has the simplest form of the receptacle (31) according to the invention, namely a tube with the recess (32) provided for the mounting rail (21).
  • the cross section (BB) of the receptacle (31) therefore has the shape of an open ring in the region of the recess (32).
  • the barrel (2) is guided to the rear during assembly into the receptacle (31) until it strikes the system housing (3).
  • the barrel (2) is then screwed to the receptacle (31) by screwing screws (4) through the jacket surface (33) of the receptacle (31) into the barrel (2).
  • each screw (4) together with at least one further, in particular together with one, two, three or four further screws (4) and most preferably together with three further screws ( 4) is arranged in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the barrel.
  • the longitudinal edges (35) of the receptacle (31) can also be used in the Figures 7 to 10 shown embodiments directly on the flanks (22) of the mounting rail (21), or be spaced from them. As described above, both variants have their advantages.
  • the receptacle (31) consists only of a pipe section with a recess (32) provided for the mounting rail (21).
  • the receptacle (31) has a thread (36) that encompasses the entire circumference of the pipe section (with the exception, of course, of the recess).
  • a pipe section (52) is then screwed on in the axial direction in relation to the barrel's longitudinal axis (A) after the barrel (2) has been pushed into the receptacle (31). The pipe section (52) is guided over the barrel (2) from the front.
