Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting device for a target device on a handgun according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the positioning accuracy of the riflescope relative to the handgun depends crucially on the contact of the surfaces of the jaw and the cavity in the clamped state, in which they pass through a mutually abrasive movement, which can lead to wear during repeated assembly and disassembly, whereby the repeatability of the positioning is impaired.
  • the US 2,624,946 discloses a mounting device for a target device on a handgun with two mounting parts, a first of which is connected by a clamp with a telescopic sight and a second is firmly connected to the handgun.
  • the first mounting part has an opening which widens upwardly in a substantially funnel-shaped manner and the second mounting part has an engagement section which widens upwards in a substantially conical manner.
  • the opening and the engagement portion are each narrowed or cut on two opposite sides. If the opening is aligned coaxially with the engagement portion, the first mounting part can be placed in a certain angular position on the second mounting part, that the engagement portion projects into the opening. By a subsequent rotation by 90 °, the two Mounting parts are positively clamped together.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a mounting device of the type mentioned, which allows a simple operation as possible backlash-free and repeatable attachment.
  • the invention is characterized in that in a generic mounting device in the opening of the coupling element of the first mounting part, a cone is arranged and in the pin of the second mounting part a mating counter-cone is formed or vice versa, wherein the cone and the counter-cone are engaged when the projections are in engagement with the engagement portions.
  • the first mounting part has a main body, with which a coupling element forming ring is rotatably connected, and either the cone or the counter-cone is a portion of a connecting member, via which the ring is connected to the main body of the first mounting part, and on which the Ring is rotatably mounted.
  • the rotatable ring alone realizes the necessary for assembly and disassembly of the target device on or from the handgun moving system element and allows easy manual implementation of these steps without the use of a tool.
  • the connecting member fulfills in the form of a single part a double function, namely in addition to the centering of the two mounting parts to each other in the assembled state and the rotatable mounting of the ring.
  • a thread is particularly advantageous, the direction of rotation of the ring in the position in which the projection of the pin comes into engagement with the engagement portions of the ring causes an axial movement of the ring in the direction of the main body ,
  • Such a thread combines in a simple manner the function of pivoting the projections of the pin to produce an axial positive engagement by engaging behind the engagement portions with the function of the axial clamping of the pin and the ring against each other.
  • the connecting member is rotatably mounted on the main body, wherein the axes of rotation of the connecting member and the ring are the same, and the connecting member is fixed to the main body by a releasable fastening element in a variable angular position, the possibility arises in a simple manner, in particular without a Disassembling the first mounting member to adjust the axial position of the ring relative to the connecting member to provide a play-free contact of the cone of the connecting element to the counter-cone of the second mounting member with an appropriate contact pressure.
  • a pairing of a bearing pin and a matching recess is suitable, one of these elements being provided in the main body and the other in the connecting member.
  • a fastener is particularly suitable a screw whose shaft extends through an axial bore in the connecting member, and which is screwed into a threaded bore in the main body whose axis is the common axis of rotation of the connecting member and the ring.
  • the ring has a stop, which limits the angle of rotation relative to the main body in the direction of rotation, which leads to the engagement of the engagement portion of the ring with the projections of the pin. In this way, a defined position of the projections of the pin with respect to the engagement portions of the ring and a defined contact pressure between the two mounting parts is achieved in the mutually braced state.
  • the ring preferably also has a stop which limits the angle of rotation relative to the main body in that direction of rotation which disables the engagement of the engagement portion of the ring with the projections of the pin. This makes it easier for the user to find when disassembling the target device that position of the ring in which the ring of the pin and thus the target device can be removed from the handgun. In addition, it is avoided that the user unintentionally rotates the ring in the disassembled state of the target device beyond this position and when re-mounting on the weapon in a wrong position on the pin that allows no backlash centering of the first mounting part to the second mounting part.
  • the stop can be formed in a preferred manner by a projecting from the ring on its outer peripheral surface in the axial direction stop pin, which comes at a boundary of the rotation angle range for engagement with an outer surface of the main body.
  • This implementation is particularly simple and allows the user an effortless visual and / or tactile control of the two end positions of the ring.
  • a single stop pin which is arranged on the ring so that it reaches at each of the two intended limits of the rotation angle range for abutment at a respective other location of an outer surface of the main body, form the stop for both directions of rotation.
  • the first mounting part has a holder for the target device and the second mounting part is attachable to the handgun or is formed as a part thereof.
  • the second mounting part may have a holder for the target device and the first mounting part may be fastened to the handgun or formed as a part thereof.
  • a mounting device 1 in a perspective view. It consists of a first mounting part 2, which as a holder for a not shown aiming device, in particular a riflescope, and from a second mounting part 3, which on a handgun 4, from the in Fig. 1 only a rear part of the top of a barrel is indicated, fastened, for example screwed to this.
  • a main body 5 As components of the first mounting part 2 are in Fig. 1 a main body 5, a clamp 6 and a ring 7 recognizable.
  • the clamp 6 is connected to the main body 5 via clamping screws, not shown, and forms with the main body 5 together a holder for a target device.
  • two similar mounting devices 1 are arranged one after the other for attachment of an aiming device to the handgun 4 along the barrel.
  • the ring 7 serves for releasably connecting the first mounting part 2 with the second mounting part 3, which will be explained below.
  • Fig. 2 shows a central sectional view of a mounting device 1 according to the invention in a plane perpendicular to the line of sight.
  • the second mounting part 3 which rests with its underside on the handgun 4 and is connected to this by a screw 8, a pin 9, which extends upwardly in the direction of the first mounting part 2.
  • the use of the terms “top” and “bottom” here is the arrangement of the mounting device 1 at the top of a handgun 4, whose run is in a horizontal position, based.
  • the pin 9 has a longitudinal axis 10 and at its upper end a plurality of protruding projections 11 in the radial direction Fig. 2 the pin 9 is inserted into an opening 12 formed in the ring 7.
  • FIG. 3 A sectional view along the line AA in Fig. 2 and perpendicular to the plane of view of Fig. 2 shows Fig. 3 , There is located on the left side of a projection 11 in a form-locking engagement with one of a plurality of engagement portions 13 of the ring 7, through which the opening 12 is narrowed at the lower end of the ring 7 at several points along the circumference.
  • the asymmetry of the upper end portion of the pin 9 and the opening 12 of the ring 7 in Fig. 3 is based on the provided in the embodiment shown number of three projections 11 and three engagement portions 13.
  • the left recognizable projection 11 and the associated engagement portion 13 is located on the right side no further projection 11 or engagement portion 13 directly opposite, so that in Fig.
  • FIGS. 4 and 5 As the pin 9 inserted into the opening 12 of the ring 7 and in the in the Figures 2 and 3 shown position is out of the FIGS. 4 and 5 can be seen in which the second mounting part 3 with the pin 9 and the ring 7 are shown in two perspective views. As can be seen there, corresponds to the shape of the narrowed by the engagement portions 13 at the height opening 12 of the shape of the end portion of the pin 9, on which the radial projections 11 are formed, so that the pin 9 with the projections 11 in at least one angular position relative to the ring 7 can be inserted past the engagement portions 13 in the opening 12 when the ring 7 and the pin 9 are aligned with each other so that their respective longitudinal axes 27 and 10 coincide with each other.
  • the depth of the opening 12, the engagement portions 13 and the projections 11 in each axial direction are coordinated so that the ring 7 and the inserted therein pin 9 can be rotated against each other, so that the projections 11, the engagement portions 13 engage behind a form fit, such as it in Fig. 3 can be seen on the left side.
  • FIGS. 6 and 7 show for clarity, respectively, sectional views along the line BB in Fig. 2 in which the ring 7 and the pin 9 are in two different angular positions relative to each other.
  • Fig. 6 shows a position in which the projections 11 can be inserted past the engagement portions 13 in the opening 12. In this angular position, there is a correspondence between the contours of the end portion of the pin 9 with the projections 11 and the opening 12 partially bounded at its entrance by the engaging portions 13 with a predetermined clearance allowing easy insertion of the projections 11 into the opening 12. The projections then fit into the regions of the entrance of the opening 12 located between the engagement sections 13.
  • the ring 7 is actually placed on the pin 9, since the latter is part of the second mounting part 3 permanently mounted on the handgun 4 is. For the function of the mounting device 1, but it depends only on the relative movement between the ring 7 and the pin 9.

  • the ring 7 is connected by a thread 15 with a connecting member 16, which is another component of the first mounting part 2 and in turn by a screw 17 which is screwed into a threaded bore 18 in the main body 5 of the first mounting part 2, with the main body 5 is connected.
  • the connecting member 16 is in Fig. 8 shown in two different perspective views and has substantially the shape of a ring having a longitudinal axis 26 which is formed on one side as a cone 19 and on the opposite side has a hollow cylindrical recess
  • Fig. 2 engages a projecting from the main body 5 centrally projecting cylindrical extension 21 into the recess 20 and thereby determines the position of the connecting member 16 with respect to the main body 5 fixed.
  • the axial position of the ring 7 relative to the connecting member 16 is adjustable.
  • the connecting member 16 in the Figures 2 and 8th visible oblique bore 23, in which from the surface of the cone 19 forth a pin is inserted.
  • the connecting member 16 After loosening the screw 17, the connecting member 16 can be rotated about its longitudinal axis 26 by means of a introduced into the bore 23 pin, whereby the axial position of the ring 7 relative to the connecting member 16 changes due to the mounting of the ring 7 via the thread 15, if the ring 7 is held at the rotation of the connecting member 16. After re-tightening the screw 17, the ring is then in a different axial position than before.
  • This adjustment of the axial position of the ring 7 must be carried out only during the initial assembly, but not during ongoing use. If necessary, it can be carried out again later, for example in order to compensate for manufacturing tolerances if a target device provided with one or more first mounting parts 2 is attached to another Handgun 4 is to be used, which is already provided with one or more second mounting parts 3, whose dimensions are slightly different due to tolerances.
