Abstract
The invention relates to small firearms and constitutes a device for attaching a barrel to the receiver. A clamping attachment of the barrel to the receiver allows for various sighting devices to be installed directly on the breech section of the barrel, thus allowing the barrel to be detached from the firearm without losing the alignment of the sight against the barrel.
Description
- The invention related to the field of weapons and may be utilized in firearms with detachable barrel.
- All known prior art solutions for clamping the barrel in the receiver, such as the patent RU 2303227 C1, F41C 7/00 (2006 January), F41A 21/48 (2006 January), do not allow for sighting devices to be installed directly on the breech section of the barrel, which results in a loss of the registered mean bullet impact point upon removal of the barrel from the firearm receiver and its subsequent reinstallation.
- The proposed invention addresses the problem of ensuring the preservation of sight alignment constantly relatively the barrel upon detachment of the barrel from the receiver.
- To achieve the said technical objective, the firearm comprising a receiver and a detachable barrel with a mount for various sighting devices, brackets and other attachments (hereinafter referred to as the “sight base”) fixed to the barrel is designed so that the barrel is fixed in to the receiver by means of a barrel attachment unit, having a form as a clamp with a longitudinal groove and located at the front of the receiver.
- The barrel with mounted sight base is oriented in the barrel attachment unit so that the sight base is positioned in the longitudinal groove in the upper part, and the clamping bolts being screwed into the sight base or directly into the barrel walls.
- In an optional variant of barrel attachment, the clamping bolts pass through holes in the sight base and are tightened with nuts or other parts, comprising thread.
- In an optional variant of barrel attachment, the barrel is fixed in the receiver by a union nut screwed onto a protruding section of the barrel attachment unit in receiver.
- The essence of the invention is illustrated by the sketches, where:

FIG. 1 ) includes abarrel 1, asight base 2 rigidly fixed on the barrel, and areceiver 3. - The
barrel 1 is installed in the barrel attachment unit 4 (FIG. 3 ) of thereceiver 3 and fixed in place by theclamping bolts 5. As thebolts 5 are tightened in thesight base 2, thebarrel 1 is fixed in thebarrel attachment unit 4 of the receiver 3 (FIG. 3 ,FIG. 4 ). - In an optional variant, the barrel 1 (
FIG. 5 ) is fixed in thebarrel attachment unit 4 of thereceiver 3 by thebolts 6 screwed directly into the barrel walls. - In an optional variant, the barrel 1 (
FIG. 8 ) is fixed in barrel attachment unit by the clamping bolts 7 pass through holes in the sight base and tightened with thenuts 8 or other parts comprising thread. - In an optional variant, the barrel 1 (
FIG. 9 ,FIG. 10 ) is fixed by the union nut 9 screwed on to the protruding barrel attachment unit 4.2 of the receiver 3.2.
