Abstract

The invention relates to small firearms and constitutes a device for attaching a barrel to the receiver. A clamping attachment of the barrel to the receiver allows for various sighting devices to be installed directly on the breech section of the barrel, thus allowing the barrel to be detached from the firearm without losing the alignment of the sight against the barrel.

Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The invention related to the field of weapons and may be utilized in firearms with detachable barrel.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • All known prior art solutions for clamping the barrel in the receiver, such as the patent RU 2303227 C1, F41C 7/00 (2006 January), F41A 21/48 (2006 January), do not allow for sighting devices to be installed directly on the breech section of the barrel, which results in a loss of the registered mean bullet impact point upon removal of the barrel from the firearm receiver and its subsequent reinstallation.
  • DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
  • The proposed invention addresses the problem of ensuring the preservation of sight alignment constantly relatively the barrel upon detachment of the barrel from the receiver.
  • To achieve the said technical objective, the firearm comprising a receiver and a detachable barrel with a mount for various sighting devices, brackets and other attachments (hereinafter referred to as the “sight base”) fixed to the barrel is designed so that the barrel is fixed in to the receiver by means of a barrel attachment unit, having a form as a clamp with a longitudinal groove and located at the front of the receiver.
  • The barrel with mounted sight base is oriented in the barrel attachment unit so that the sight base is positioned in the longitudinal groove in the upper part, and the clamping bolts being screwed into the sight base or directly into the barrel walls.
  • In an optional variant of barrel attachment, the clamping bolts pass through holes in the sight base and are tightened with nuts or other parts, comprising thread.
  • In an optional variant of barrel attachment, the barrel is fixed in the receiver by a union nut screwed onto a protruding section of the barrel attachment unit in receiver.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The essence of the invention is illustrated by the sketches, where:
  • On FIG. 1—the appearance of the firearm with a detachable barrel;
  • On FIG. 2—the appearance of the receiver with barrel attachment unit and the cross section along C-C, the partial view A;
  • On FIG. 3—the diagram of the barrels interchange;
  • On FIG. 4—the appearance of the firearm, and the cross section along A-A, D-D, the partial view B;
  • On FIG. 5—the appearance of the firearm, cross section along A-A, C-C the partial view B, in variant then barrel fixed by the clamping bolts screwed directly into the barrel walls;
  • On FIG. 6—the appearance of the receiver, cross section along B-B, the partial view A, in variant then barrel fixed by the clamping bolts screwed directly into the barrel walls;
  • On FIG. 7—the diagram of the barrels interchange, when barrel fixed by the clamping bolts screwed directly into the barrel walls;
  • On FIG. 8—the appearance of the firearm, cross section along A-A, C-C the partial view B, in variant then barrel fixed by the clamping bolts passing through holes in the sight base and tightened by nuts or other parts comprising thread;
  • On FIG. 9—the appearance of the firearm with barrel attachment by means of union nut, the partial view B, the cross-sections along A-A, C-C;
  • On FIG. 10—the appearance of the receiver with barrel attachment unit, when barrel fixed by means of union nut, cross-section along D-D, the partial view C;
  • On FIG. 11—the diagram of the barrel interchange in variant, when barrel fixed by means of union nut.
  • BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
  • The firearm with a detachable barrel (FIG. 1) includes a barrel 1, a sight base 2 rigidly fixed on the barrel, and a receiver 3.
  • The barrel 1 is installed in the barrel attachment unit 4 (FIG. 3) of the receiver 3 and fixed in place by the clamping bolts 5. As the bolts 5 are tightened in the sight base 2, the barrel 1 is fixed in the barrel attachment unit 4 of the receiver 3 (FIG. 3, FIG. 4).
  • In an optional variant, the barrel 1 (FIG. 5) is fixed in the barrel attachment unit 4 of the receiver 3 by the bolts 6 screwed directly into the barrel walls.
  • In an optional variant, the barrel 1 (FIG. 8) is fixed in barrel attachment unit by the clamping bolts 7 pass through holes in the sight base and tightened with the nuts 8 or other parts comprising thread.
  • In an optional variant, the barrel 1 (FIG. 9, FIG. 10) is fixed by the union nut 9 screwed on to the protruding barrel attachment unit 4.2 of the receiver 3.2.
