Ils peuvent également être en arrière de la poignée lorsque celle-ci est en position rentrée dans la cavité (figure 3). L'objectif de ces rebords 62 est de former des surfaces d'arrêt pour la glace 14 et ainsi favoriser son détachement de la poignée 8 et des parois 61. En d'autres termes, l'actuateur de la poignée peut être configuré pour que la poignée comprenne deux positions stables, à savoir les positions rentrée et sortie susmentionnées, la poignée pouvant être amenée de la position rentrée vers la position sortie par un enfoncement de celle-ci jusqu'à un point prédéterminé, cet enfoncement étant contre un effort élastique résistant. Une fois ce point atteint, des moyens de retenue empêchant la sortie de la poignée au-delà de la position rentrée sont alors désactivés et, une fois la pression relâchée, la poignée peut alors se déplacer sous ces efforts élastiques jusqu'à la position sortie. Une pression sur la poignée vers la cavité de manière à lui faire atteindre à nouveau le point prédéterminé permet alors de réactiver ces moyens de retenue. La poignée revient alors à la position rentrée, affleurant la paroi extérieure de la porte.
