Definitions

  • Top flap fittings are known in the furniture sector in order to be able to move a top flap relative to a furniture body.
  • a top flap fitting for moving a top flap mounted on a furniture body of a piece of furniture is, for example, from DE 20 2012 009 218 U1 known.
  • the guide means have to meet different requirements; in particular, the inside of the furniture body or the movable furniture part should be made accessible with the movement guide in order to be able to accommodate objects therein or remove them therefrom.
  • Known guide means are relatively bulky, tall and wide, mounted on an inner surface of a side wall.
  • the object of the present invention is to improve an upper flap fitting, in particular with regard to a compact, comparatively less bulky accommodation of the device on the piece of furniture or in order to reduce the material and/or assembly costs of the upper flap fitting.
  • the invention is based on an upper flap fitting for moving an upper flap accommodated on a piece of furniture, the upper flap fitting having guide means with which, when the device is mounted on the piece of furniture, the furniture part can be moved from a closed position into an open position relative to the furniture body and back, the guide means have a first and a second fitting, wherein in the arranged state on the piece of furniture the first and the second fitting are arranged at a distance from one another on the furniture body, wherein the device has mounting means for attaching the first and the second fitting to the movable furniture part, the mounting means being attached to the movable furniture part can be mounted.
  • the device is designed as a swivel fitting or flap fitting for a top flap of a piece of furniture.
  • the furniture is available, for example, as a wall cabinet.
  • the furniture part advantageously assumes a position that is moved as far as possible towards a front side of the furniture body.
  • an opening in the furniture body is at least partially closed in the closed position.
  • a touch-latch automatic opening mechanism can be implemented on the piece of furniture through the gap, which can form part of the device, for example.
  • the first fitting is, for example, on a right-hand side of the furniture body and the second fitting is, for example, on a left-hand side of the furniture body can be arranged, or vice versa.
  • the first and/or the second fitting can be inserted into a side wall of the furniture body, in particular into a recess in the side wall of the furniture body.
  • the core of the invention is seen in the fact that the assembly means have a first assembly unit with a movable bearing and a second assembly unit with a fixed bearing, with the two assembly units being mounted on the furniture part at a distance from one another when they are arranged on the furniture part, and the first fitting being mounted on the furniture part when arranged is coupled to the first assembly unit and the second fitting is coupled to the second assembly unit, so that when the device is assembled on the piece of furniture, a position of the furniture part relative to the furniture body can be adjusted without tension using adjustment means on the fixed bearing, in that a position shift of the furniture part can be compensated for by the movable bearing .
  • the loose bearing and/or the first fitting is moved in the same direction, e.g. +x or -x, as the second fitting and/or the fixed bearing.
  • the closed position of the furniture part relative to the furniture body can be adjusted by the adjustment means.
  • the advantageous embodiment of the invention avoids tilting or straining of a fitting or both fittings when adjusting the position of the furniture part.
  • the fixed bearing is self-locking. This avoids an unintentional adjustment of the position of the furniture part.
  • the floating bearing is designed to be self-locking.
  • the loose bearing is self-locking when the furniture part is in an open position.
