Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for visualizing information for passengers of a vehicle.
- the pamphlet DE 10 2014 214 585 A1 describes a display device in the form of a display that shows information for passengers in the form of text, map representations or signposts.
- the disadvantage here is that an increased programming effort is required for the large number of texts and map representations shown.
- the pamphlet DE 20 2011 103 660 U1 discloses a door area of a rail vehicle in which at least two light distribution patterns are generated on the outside.
- the first light distribution pattern is generated when the doors are open.
- the second light distribution pattern indicates that the doors are about to close. It is disadvantageous that only the opening and closing of a door can be signaled.
- the pamphlet WO 2012/136567 A1 relates to a door area of a rail vehicle in which at least two light distribution patterns are generated which are controlled as a function of certain operating states of the door. It is disadvantageous that only certain operating states of a door can be signaled.
- the pamphlet DE 10 2015 200 160 A1 discloses the display of information for passengers in the floor area of the boarding area of the vehicle.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a method for visualizing information for passengers of a vehicle, with which various types of information can be displayed, which can be used flexibly and in a variety of ways and is easy to carry out.
- the object is achieved in a method for visualizing information for passengers of a vehicle, with at least one visualization function being executed that generates at least one visualization signal that optically converts at least one type of information within at least one predetermined area by means of at least one light effect, with the visualization function is additionally carried out on at least one device of the vehicle originally intended for a different function, and lighting effects can be displayed with technically different means during operation of the vehicle.
- the associated visualization signal generates at least one light effect area with at least one basic geometric shape and at least one variable light effect within the specified area, and the duration of each light effect depends on the type of optically implemented information
- the intended device uses a window that is designed as an intelligent glass.
- a brightness is changed in individual areas of the viewing window, so that parallel stripes with different brightness are created.
- a countdown or time lapse is displayed, which signals to the passengers how much time remains to get on or off before a first door half and an associated door half or a second door half and an associated door half are closed.
- the type of information visualized for the passengers can be different, i.e. different types of information can be visualized or visually represented.
- the types of information include, for example, directional instructions and / or clear instructions. Other types of information, such as entry and / or exit instructions, can also be visualized. Other types of information are also possible.
- more than one type of information can be visualized.
- One advantage is that each type of information is assigned its own duration. However, more than one type of information can also be displayed within the vehicle at the same time.
- the device originally intended for a different function can be, for example, step lighting, ceiling lighting, an acoustic signal transmitter and / or a viewing window.
- a basic geometric shape can be, for example, a circle, a ring, a rectangle or a triangle. Other basic geometric shapes are also conceivable.
- the light effect surface can also comprise two or more basic geometric shapes, which are arranged, for example, next to one another.
- a variable light effect can be generated, for example, by a color change, a brightness change and / or a flashing, for example also with a variable frequency. According to the invention, a color change also includes gray tone changes. Other Light effects are also conceivable.
- the light effect surface is a simple and flexible means of presenting various types of information to passengers.
- different light-effect surfaces for different types of information can be generated at different positions of the vehicle, in particular the different light-effect surfaces with the different types of information being able to be generated simultaneously, overlapping in time or successively in time.
- the method can be carried out at several positions on the rail vehicle, with the information in the vehicle being displayed uniformly with the aid of light effect surfaces.
- the basic geometric shape of the light effect surface can be variable.
- the advantage of a variable basic geometric shape is that, for example, a number of basic shapes, individual or all dimensions and / or one type of basic shape can be changed.
- a change in the type of basic shape can be a change from a first basic shape to a second basic shape, e.g. a change from a ring to at least one ring segment. This allows, for example, time-dependent information to be displayed.
- the light effect surface can be text-free and / or digit-free.
- a text-free light effect surface ensures that a variable light effect surface as an information carrier can be visually recognized quickly by passengers, e.g. also by passengers who speak the language of the country in which the vehicle is operated will not master.
- a number-free light effect area enables the method to be carried out easily.
- the light effect comprises an adjustable brightness and / or adjustable gray tones.
- adjustable brightness time-dependent information can be displayed or information that is no longer required can fade and then disappear completely. This increases the flexibility of the lighting effect. Shades of gray are advantageous when a technical implementation of color effects is not possible, such as with dimmable windows, ie with intelligent glass.
- the light effect surface can be produced on at least one floor surface, in particular at least one step.
- a floor area of the vehicle is particularly suitable when the number of passengers is low and the floor area is clearly visible.
- a floor area in a vestibule or entry and exit area is also well suited. Passengers pay particular attention to a step when boarding and is therefore well suited for displaying the light effect surface.
- At least one lighting function is carried out on the device in at least a first period of time and the visualization function is carried out on the device in at least a second period of time.
- a lighting device that informs the passengers about possible danger spots, e.g. step lighting.
- This lighting device can be supplemented or retrofitted in order to carry out the method according to the invention in a period in which the pure lighting function can be dispensed with, e.g. the light effect surface can be generated in a second period by flashing.
- the lighting function can be controlled by a first controller and the visualization function can be controlled by a second controller, or the lighting function and the visualization function can be controlled by a common controller.
- Separate controls are advantageous if the lighting device is retrofitted in order to carry out the method according to the invention.
- a common control can replace an original control for the lighting function when retrofitting in order to reduce the technical effort.
- the visualization function is carried out on at least one acoustic device.
- the device originally intended for a different function in the vehicle is thus an acoustic device.
- the additional light effect surface gives this a better visual design.
- an acoustic signal is supplemented or amplified by an optical signal.
- the visualization function is performed on the device on a display with an edge shape that corresponds to the given area.
- the edge of the display is therefore an outline of the given area.
- the device originally intended for a different function in the vehicle is, for example, a window on which the display is arranged.
- the visualization function is carried out on at least one viewing window.
- the device originally intended for another function in the vehicle is thus a viewing window.
- This is designed as a so-called intelligent glass, i.e. by applying a voltage, the brightness of the lens can be changed in gray levels or different gray tones can be generated. The brightness can also be changed, for example, in individual areas of the viewing window so that, for example, parallel stripes with different brightness are created.
- Existing vehicles can easily be retrofitted with intelligent glasses.
- the visualization function can preferably visualize a time and / or a planned departure time and / or a time lapse up to the departure of the vehicle.
- the time can e.g. be displayed in the form of digits and / or as a circle with an increasing or decreasing circular area in the circumferential direction.
- the second visualization function can generate a visualization signal which optically indicates which door and / or door half is provided for boarding and / or disembarking the passenger. This is advantageous in order to optimize the flow of passengers.
- the visualization function can generate a visualization signal which optically indicates a specific direction to the passengers, in particular at least one direction to get on and / or to get off and / or to a catering area.
- the geometric base area can be composed of a triangle and a rectangle and can form an arrow.
- the second visualization function can generate a visualization signal which optically indicates the direction in which free spaces are to be found, in particular a number of free spaces being optically displayed, and / or which at least one area must be kept clear, e.g. for at least one bicycle or at least one wheelchair. This is also advantageous in order to optimize the passenger flow.

- the technical means in the Figures 1 to 7 can be combined with one another as required within the vehicle.
