Steel wire cloths are used in various areas of textile fiber processing. The present invention relates to a garniture wire for use on rolls in fiber processing processes, in particular to drums of carding machines. When used on rollers, the clothing wire in the form of a sawtooth all-steel garniture is helical and tightly abutted or wound in grooves on the roller. If the breast angle is α 0 °, the breast surface is vertical, or vertical, to the wire base. The back angle γ is in the present description, the angle between the back surface and the perpendicular to the wire base, wherein the back surface, seen in the direction of movement, rear tooth surface. If the back angle γ 0 ° is so that the back surface vertically, respectively vertically, to the wire base.
In the fiber processing processes, such as opening and cleaning of fibers or fiber flakes, high demands are placed on the used steel wire clothings, in particular with regard to an efficient parallelization of the fibers in the carding process. Condition for this is a leadership of the fibers as possible on the surface of the clothing. Likewise, the fiber transfer from a first roller to another roller is of great importance. In the case of a card, this applies above all to the all-steel clothing applied to the drum. This essentially determines the fiber transfer from the feed roller to the drum as well as the fiber transfer from the drum to the pickup as well as the fiber guidance in the carding process.
It is the object of the invention to provide a clothing wire, which allows a fiber guide on the surface of the clothing with an improved fiber transfer to the drum and from the drum to the subsequent roller.
The object is solved by the features in the characterizing part of the independent claim.
To achieve the object, a clothing wire for use on drums in cards is proposed, wherein the clothing wire consists of a foot and a sheet with a total height of the wire h 1 of 1.5 mm to 5.0 mm. Preferably, the total height of the wire h 1 is 1.8 mm to 3.0 mm, particularly preferably 2.0 mm. The blade is provided with teeth with a first tooth tip with a tooth depth h 6 of 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm, preferably the tooth depth h 6 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm, more preferably 0.4 mm. The clothing wire has a tooth pitch p of 1.4 mm to 2.5 mm, preferably the tooth pitch p is 1.6 mm to 2.0 mm, particularly preferably 1.81 mm (corresponding to 14 tips per inch). The teeth have a back surface with a back angle and a tooth surface with a working angle. The back angle is 50 to 80 degrees, preferably 60 to 70 degrees, more preferably 65 degrees. On the back surface of the tooth, a second tooth tip is formed at a tip distance from the first tooth tip, wherein the second tooth tip has a back surface with a back angle and the back angle of the second tooth tip 50 to 80 degrees, preferably 60 degrees to 70 degrees, more preferably 65 degrees. The back angle of the teeth, respectively the first tooth tip is equal to the back angle of the second tooth tip.
Due to this geometry of the teeth with two tooth tips, wherein the second tooth tip is formed on the back surface of the first tooth tip, the fiber transfer, in particular the fiber transfer from a preceding roller, is favored. In addition, the two tooth tips per tooth also have an advantageous effect on the fiber transport of the fibers through the clothing and result in a considerable improvement of the carding. The second tooth tip causes not only an increased fiber takeover, but in addition also that the fibers are held on the surface of the clothing.
A tooth back surface, which extends at common Ganzstahlgarnituren from the tooth tip to the tooth base is interrupted in the proposed embodiment by a second tooth tip. Between the first tooth tip and the second tooth tip, a tooth space is formed, wherein the tooth back of the first tooth tip is connected to the second tooth tip via a concave surface segment. The tip distance between the first tooth tip and the second tooth tip is advantageously 10% to 50% of the tooth pitch p. This ensures that the second tooth tip is actively involved in the process of fiber transport and contributes to the improved fiber transfer.
Preferably, the height of the interdental space between the first tooth tip and the second tooth tip is 10% to 50% of the tooth depth (h 6 ). As a result, a drop of the fibers in the clothing is at least partially avoided and improves the carding process. The minimum height of this gap is necessary for the formation of the second tooth tip, since the second tooth tip unfolds only an effect to improve the fiber takeover when the working angle is positive, or greater zero. However, it is also a negative working angle conceivable, which then leads to at least an improvement of the carding process is achieved by the leadership of the fibers on the surface of the clothing.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the total height of the wire (h 1 ) at the first tooth tip and at the second tooth tip is the same. The tips of the teeth are subject to wear and dull over time. The trimmings are periodically reground for this reason, whereby the service life can be increased. If both tooth tips now have the same height, it is possible to grasp the first and the second tooth tip in a grinding process. The clothing thus retains its advantageous characteristics even after several grinding processes.
The first tooth tip has a blade width b 3 of 0.04 mm to 0.08 mm. Advantageously, the blade width b 3 of the second tooth tip is the same size. This circumstance also contributes to the fact that the second tooth tip unfolds an approximately the same effect as the first tooth tip. It is also avoided that the other is covered by one of the two tooth tips. Advantageously, the working angle of the first tooth tip is 30 to 50 degrees. A larger working angle increases the aggressiveness of the clothing. The working angle is determined by the production height and the fiber material to be processed. Particularly preferably, the working angle of the second tooth tip is the same size as the working angle of the first tooth tip.
The garniture wire is designed as an all-steel wire and can be made with a normal, locked or interlinked foot to allow it to be mounted on a smooth roller or in grooves.
The clothing wire is particularly suitable for garnished rolls of cards, such as the drums. When using the clothing wire on a drum this is wound up spirally.
