Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a release device and a system of mop holder and release device and relates in particular to the field of professional, commercial cleaning.
  • a professional cleaning specialist uses a variety of mop covers during their cleaning work. These are usually kept in stock in special containers on a cleaning system trolley carried during cleaning and are also stored on this in containers for holding used cleaning textiles.
  • the cleaning system trolley is the central location for all work processes, so it is modularly equipped with various containers for cleaning liquids, with garbage and laundry bags, with cleaning devices, with moistening devices and / or flat presses or with connectable satellite trolleys.
  • a normal workflow requires the mop cover holder to be fitted as freshly as possible with a fresh mop cover from a storage container, moistening the mop cover with a certain amount of cleaning liquid, provided that the mop cover has not already been kept moistened in a wet storage container, wiping a floor, possibly several times Rinsing and squeezing out the mop cover for a next cleaning cycle and finally throwing off the dirty mop cover from the mop cover holder into a receptacle, which ends one operation and the next can follow in the same way.
  • a mop cover usually has two insertion pockets on its holding side, which serve to hold a wiper plate of a mop cover holder, which the mop cover is for use on Mop cover holder tensions and holds.
  • the latter consist of a handle that is articulated to a wiper plate that has two lockable, hinged wings.
  • the folded wings make it easier to thread in and out the pockets of the mop cover.
  • the locking of the folding wings can usually be released by means of a foot switch as a locking device on the side of the wiper plate of the mop cover holder facing the handle, but can also be released by hand.
  • Locking mechanisms consist of a compressible locking wire which runs around a wing, engages in lateral gripping of the wing to be folded down and locks it in a force-fitting and form-fitting manner on the second wing, which carries the joint for the stem and on which the Wire is articulated.
  • the locking of the folding sash must be released, for which purpose release aids are used.
  • release aids are usually located above a collecting container for used mop covers, so that the used mop cover can slide off the wings folded down using the release aid and fall into the container. These release aids are therefore attached to these in a rather upper area of the cleaning system trolleys.
  • a mechanical release aid for a foot switch of a mop cover holder which is located on the side of the wiper plate facing the handle.
  • This consists of a multi-curved wire with fixed ends, so that there is a slot part with parallel wire sections and a vertically spaced, right and left extending, approximately rectangular actuating part.
  • the handle of the mop cover holder is inserted into the slot part, whereby the wiper plate with the mop cover that is open and to be loosened is arranged below the rectangular actuating part, that is to say it is also arranged above the upward-facing foot switch.
  • the actuating part presses the foot switch, releases it and thus releases the two Wiper plate wings free, which then swivel downwards and release the mop cover. This then falls into the collection container located under the release aid. Touches of the soiled mop cover by the hand of the cleaning specialist are largely avoided.
  • a wiper plate is known in which a locking of the two wings is arranged in an area which lies in front of the joint. It is actuated by pivoting the handle, so that a nose arranged there acts on an angle element which points to a front edge of the wiper plate.
  • a locking device is known in which the operation is carried out by compressing two locking members which are movable towards one another against a spring force and which are arranged laterally next to a joint.
  • a mop holder with a bendable arm and two pivotable wings is known, with a locking mechanism arranged on a rear edge of the wings, which can be actuated by means of leg pressure and is designed as a bracket.
  • a disadvantage of these and other mechanical release aids is that a cleaning specialist must move the mop cover holder vertically upwards from the height of the release aid and thus easily bring the handle end of the mop cover holder to heights of 2.5 m to 3 m. At these heights there are hanging objects such as lamps, medical devices, but also ceiling hangers or the like, which can be damaged by the handle end. Due to the rather abrupt or jerky and quite powerful movement of the handle to release the lock, the objects mentioned can also be damaged in such a way that parts fall off and endanger the cleaning specialist himself. On the other hand, it is disadvantageous that they unlock by hand or by moving the handle and, if necessary, must pick up the contaminated mop cover by hand.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to avoid this disadvantage and to provide a corresponding release device and a corresponding mop cover holder, which are constructed in relation to one another.
  • a release device for detachably lockable wiper plates of a mop cover holder comprising a frame with a passage area defining a first level and allowing insertion of a mop cover holder, a stop arranged on the frame for the wiper plates, the release device further has a fulcrum support area arranged on the frame and allowing a style to be placed on the mop cover holder, the stop and fulcrum support area lying in a second level that intersects the first level, characterized in that the stop protrudes into the pass-through area and lies within a range, which is swept by an opening area of an insertion opening of the passage area when it is mentally moved vertically up or down.
  • the release device has a frame which can be designed as an open or closed frame, as a wire mesh frame, as a frame made of flat elements or in some other way.
  • a stop and a fulcrum support area and a reach-through area are assigned to the frame. The latter serves to be able to insert a mop cover holder into the device in order to release its locked wings there.
  • the penetration area can be designed as a circumferentially open or closed opening with a short or long axial extent, that is to say from a ring-shaped structure to a circumferentially open or closed channel-shaped, also winding channel-shaped, structure. This pass-through area defines a first level, which is parallel when the device is in use to the ground or angled to it.
  • a stop and a fulcrum support area are arranged on the frame, namely a stop and a fulcrum support area, both of which lie in a second plane that intersects the first.
  • a fulcrum support area is now added according to the invention, which does not act like the stop on the locking mechanism of the wiper plate wings, but rather represents an area in or on which a handle can be placed in order to provide a turning and effective area realize. So that the above-mentioned negative linear movement of the stem can be omitted, both areas according to the invention lie in a second plane that intersects the first plane, so they are each arranged at a different distance from this first plane.
  • the fulcrum can be a point-shaped, a line-shaped or a flat area, point is therefore not understood to be a mathematical point.
  • the fulcrum area can be arranged outside the passage area, the same applies to the stop.
  • the inclined position determined by the choice of the position of the stop and the fulcrum area relative to one another for an inserted mop cover holder ranges from approximately perpendicular to a floor, angled upwards, angled parallel to a floor up to 45 ° in the direction of the floor, so that in this case the wiper plate is located above the handle with its free end pointing towards the floor.
  • an angle of the handle pointing upward between 5 ° and 45 ° is preferred Operating position. The locking is therefore no longer carried out according to the invention by a linear movement of the mop cover holder up against a stop but by pivoting about a pivot point against a stop.
  • Protruding an inserted mop cover holder is advantageously achieved by projecting the stop into the passage area. At the same time, this enables an advantage that a mop cover sliding off a detached wiper plate is already moved in the direction of a collecting container which is in the operating position below the device and can therefore safely get into it.
  • the frame is formed by an annular wire, which is preferably designed as a rounded rectangular shape, the frame forming and delimiting an insertion opening of the passage area.
  • the wire is preferably made of stainless steel or a high-alloy, stainless steel, but it can also be made of plastic.
  • the wire does not necessarily have a round cross-sectional area, this can be oval, ellipsoid or polygon.
  • the rounded rectangular shape is preferred because its shape corresponds to that of the wiper plates and because of the curves, the device can be cleaned easily and completely. For this reason, rounded cross sections of the wire are also preferred.
  • the frame preferably forms an insertion opening of the passage area and delimits it.
  • the passage area according to the invention does not have to have such a circumferentially closed insertion opening, it could, as already described, also with be formed an open circumference, for example as a half oval, a quarter circle or a horizontally inclined V-shaped connection between the stop and the fulcrum area.
  • the stop and the fulcrum support area in the operating position are arranged below the insertion opening, the guidance is even more secure, so that a possible falling of the mop cover past the collecting container is almost completely ruled out.
  • An arrangement in which both are arranged above the insertion opening would also be in accordance with the invention.
  • a mop cover holder would be located completely above the device.
  • the stop can be spaced vertically further than the fulcrum area from the insertion opening or vice versa.
  • the stop has a stop edge running parallel to the first plane.
  • Such a parallel stop edge has the advantage that a user does not have to position his mop cover holder exactly. Even if the stop is positioned incorrectly, the stop edge is still so long that it can contact and release the locking mechanism of the inserted mop cover holder.
  • the fulcrum support area is molded into the wire and the stop is molded onto the wire and / or in each case in one Center region of two opposite sides of the annular wire are arranged. Molded in here means that the fulcrum is formed by the wire itself or its course, that is to say it has a corresponding curvature downwards or upwards. Molded on means the invention that the stop is not directly bent from the wire of the frame itself but rather consists of a body which is preferably integrally connected to the wire. The materials of body and wire are identical, the body is preferably an equally dimensioned wire. Due to the arrangement of the stop and the fulcrum area in a central area of two opposite sides of the annular wire, the entire width of the insertion opening is available to a user.
  • a first contact area and a second contact area are formed on the annular wire, the stop being arranged between the first and the second contact area.
  • the first and second contact areas have a different vertical and horizontal distance from the fulcrum area than the stop. In particular, they are further spaced from the opening surface, since such a user has to use a deeper stop surface and does not have to lift the handle so high above the release device.
  • the device has a second annular wire, which is arranged at a distance from one another in parallel in a plane and is connected to the first annular wire, the second annular wire having a different, in particular larger, diameter than the first.
  • a larger diameter is also understood to mean that the second annular wire includes a larger opening area than the first. Additional fastening means such as screws, interventions and engagement means, clips and the like are avoided. This reduces the design effort, reduces the surfaces and thus the susceptibility to contamination and increases the cleanability of the device. At the same time, an unintentional detachment from a cleaning trolley is avoided, a user must rather consciously lift the device according to the invention upwards from it.
  • the object with regard to the system comprising at least one release device and at least one mop cover holder is achieved by a previously described release device and a mop cover holder, comprising a handle receptacle, a wiper plate, an articulated connection, arranged between the handle receptacle and the wiper plate, the wiper plate having two lockable, hinged wings, wherein a locking device acting on the wing is provided.
  • a previously described release device and a mop cover holder comprising a handle receptacle, a wiper plate, an articulated connection, arranged between the handle receptacle and the wiper plate, the wiper plate having two lockable, hinged wings, wherein a locking device acting on the wing is provided.
  • the wings are of equal dimensions to one another and the locking device is arranged between the two wings in the area of the articulated connection on a front edge of the wiper plate and is designed such that it can be fully actuated from this edge.
  • the locking device By moving the only and complete actuation possibility of the locking device in the middle between the two wings seen in the wiping direction in front of the articulated connection, this is particularly easy to access and operate by the stop acting from this side of the release device according to the invention.
  • both wings can have the same dimensions, which is structurally simpler than the asymmetrical long and short wings known from the prior art.
  • the locking device can have all conceivable actuating devices which can be fully actuated from this side by pressure.
  • a pivot axis is approximately parallel to the front edge of the wiper plate, so that the pivoting movement of an actuating lever is approximately arcuate between this edge and the handle. It is crucial that the actuation device is actuated completely from the front of the wiper plate, that is to say, in the case of use, from that side which is on the side of the handle facing away from the user. Although this constitutes a disadvantage of actuating the actuating lever by hand or foot, since a user would have to reach around the handle, this is precisely what the present invention is intended to prevent such disadvantageous manual actuation and to facilitate mechanical actuation.
  • the locking device acts on both wings and has a pivotable actuating lever, in particular an actuating lever pivotable away from the articulated connection.
  • a pivotable actuating lever in particular an actuating lever pivotable away from the articulated connection.
  • Such an operating lever has the advantage that in an emergency it can also be easily operated by a user by hand or by foot, which is more difficult with latching or push buttons.
  • the pivoting direction away from the joint is particularly advantageous with regard to the release device according to the invention, in which the mop cover holder used executes a rotary movement around the pivot point area, so that the actuating lever bears against the stop, which then actuates it.
  • the handle thus forms the power arm and the area of the mop cover holder between the point of contact at the pivot point area and the actuating lever forms the load arm.
  • the lever force to be applied by a user can be preselected by a suitable choice of the horizontal distance from the stop and the fulcrum area, that is to say can be kept rather low, since the power arm will be considerably longer than the load arm.
  • the orientation of the handle in the room, i.e. its inclination to the floor, is determined by a suitable choice of the vertical distance.
  • the actuating lever acts on at least one form-fitting element, the at least one form-fitting element locking the wing-side counter-elements.
  • stop / stop overlap / wrap around, engagement / engagement opening, Pass-through / pass-through opening, ball head / ball socket and other more into consideration.
  • interlocking element and the wing-side counter element have mutually facing stop surfaces, which advantageously allows two pivoting movements and is structurally particularly simple.
  • the counter element has support surfaces, the support surfaces being supported on a central part of the wiper plate and the central part carrying the articulated connection and the actuating lever.
  • This structurally simple design of the wiper plate provides with the middle part a stable and rigid support platform which can carry the joint, the locking mechanism with the actuating lever and at the same time form an abutment for the wings which are supported on it in the locked state.
  • At least one projection is arranged on a wing, this projection pointing away from a plane defined by the wing at an angle unequal to 90 °.
  • the wiper plate according to the invention is flat, so that when in use it exerts a high surface pressure on a stretched mop cover by lying flat there.
  • the at least one projection per wing which preferably does not protrude perpendicularly from the wiper plate but at an angle unequal to 90 °, leads in use to a pressing movement of the mop holder according to the invention in the direction of an opened mop cover in addition to the surface pressure through the surface of the wings and Middle part of the wiper plate also to an angled pressure on the protrusions, which is advantageous for moving the mop cover under the wiper plate during a wiping movement and thus prevents a relative change in position from the mop cover to the mop cover holder.
  • a single, correspondingly angled projection is sufficient, in particular if it extends in an edge region along a front edge of the wing, as seen in the wiping direction.
  • two such projections are preferred in order to be able to use the mop cover holder according to the invention in any wiping direction.
  • At least one further projection is provided with great advantage, which is approximately orthogonal to the first projection.
  • This second projection is preferably formed by a section of the counter element.
  • Fig. 1 shows a release device 1 according to the invention with inserted wiper plate 2, which is not shown in full Mop cover holder 3 belongs.
  • the release device 1 has a frame 4 which delimits a passage area 5 to one side.
  • the frame 4 is made here as a wire frame made of stainless steel wire, with all corners being rounded.
  • the frame 4 defines a first level and includes an insertion opening 9 therein.
  • the stop 6 protrudes into the penetration area 5, in other words it is located within the area that an insertion opening 9, which is thought to be shifted downward, would sweep over.
  • the stop 6 has a stop edge 13 and is designed here as a wire bracket molded onto the frame 4.
  • the molding preferably consists of a weld.
  • This stop 6 with stop edge 13 is arranged in a central region 10 of a first side 11 of the frame 4.
  • the insertion opening 9 has an approximately rectangular cross section and is therefore adapted to the rectangular shape of the wiper plate 2.
  • Fig. 1 further shows that a second annular wire 17 is provided, which has a larger insertion opening 9 'than that of the first annular wire. Both are oriented parallel to one another and connected to one another by means of a plurality of connecting sections 30. These make the transition from the smaller to the larger annular wire.
  • Figure 1 also shows a first contact area 14 and a second contact area 15, which also protrude into the penetration area 5, but less strongly than the stop 6.
  • the actuating lever 23 of the locking device 22 is already in engagement with the stop 6 or its stop edge 13.
  • This stop edge 13 is designed significantly longer than the actuating lever 23 itself in order to always reliably unlock a user even when the mop cover holder is inserted incorrectly to enable the locking device 22.
  • Fig. 2 shows the release device 1 arranged on a cleaning system trolley 31 in use. It can be seen that below the release device 1 there is a receptacle 32 for falling mop covers. Instead of the solid container shown, a flexible container such as a can also be attached to the release device 1 Laundry bag attached. It can be seen that the connecting sections 30 rest on a spar of the cleaning system carriage 31, which is made possible by the conical shape of the device. Formations 16 serve on the one hand to fasten such a releasable receptacle and also to further support the device on the spar or to rest against it.
  • the release device 1 according to the invention can only be removed by the user upwards from the cleaning system trolley 31, which prevents their unintentional removal or slipping.
