Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a plate changing system for cross-country poles, hiking poles, Nordic walking poles, alpine ski poles, etc.
  • This system With this system, different tips essays, so not only plates, but also other end caps for sticks in mechanically stable and easily replaceable manner attached to the pole become.
  • Trekking poles, cross-country poles, Nordic walking poles, or alpine ski poles have at their upper free end of a handle and at its lower free end of a tip or a rolling surface, usually in the form of a rubber buffer.
  • the top elements may additionally have a plate-like extended area, for example, to prevent too deep sinking in soft ground, such as snow.
  • Such tip elements must be attached as well as possible to the lower free end so that they do not come loose during use.
  • the lower free end is a conical free end, i. the stick diameter tapers towards the lower free end.
  • the tip element is therefore usually formed as a separate body having a blind hole from above, in which the free end of the pole tube is self-locking pressed and / or glued.
  • the EP 1 025 883 B1 discloses a plate change system in which two axially spaced extensions are arranged at the lower end of the tube, between which a radial spring tongue of the plate attachment can snap.
  • the EP 0 906 776 A1 discloses a stick tip to which by means of a bayonet lock various plates can be fixed at the lower end of the stick.
  • the EP 0 035 200 discloses a ski pole with a releasably attachable snow plate. In this case, the plate attachment has a latching lever with a hook, which is caught on the pole behind a tilted tooth at the pole end during assembly from below. When depressing the
  • the interchangeable element should be releasably fastened to a free lower end of a pole tube.
  • the inventive essay for a stick in particular for a trekking pole, cross-country pole, Nordic walking pole, or alpine ski pole, has a fastened at the lower free end of a pole tube, substantially cylindrical sleeve, which has an open at the top blind hole, ie having a downwardly closed recess for receiving the lower free end of the pole tube.
  • a removable element is positively and non-positively releasably fastened to the sleeve.
  • the sleeve thus effectively serves as an adapter between pole and exchange element.
  • the sleeve has a head region and a body region which points downwards, ie towards the tip of the stick, and adjoins the head region, at least one axial section of the body region of the sleeve having an external thread.
  • the interchangeable element has a tip or a rolling surface at its lower end. Alternatively, a tip is recessed in the lower end of the change element.
  • the interchangeable element also has an axial, upwardly, ie towards the stick handle out, open blind hole for receiving the sleeve.
  • the interchangeable element In its blind hole, or in at least one axial section of the inner wall of the blind hole, the interchangeable element has an internal thread which is suitable for fastening the interchangeable element to the sleeve into the external thread arranged on the sleeve intervene.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of the attachment has a removable element which has an anti-rotation relative to the sleeve. This rotation prevents rotation, when the change element is mounted on the sleeve, a rotation of the change element in the circumferential direction about the longitudinal axis of the pole tube.
  • the interchangeable element for this purpose has at least one latching lug which extends in the axial direction and which is suitable for engaging in a corresponding recess arranged on the sleeve.
  • This recess is preferably arranged on the head region of the sleeve, preferably on the lower edge of the head region.
  • the interchangeable element only a single extending in the axial direction locking lug, but it can also be arranged a plurality of locking lugs.
  • the exchange element has a plate region, preferably an asymmetric plate region, wherein the plate region preferably extends substantially in a plane perpendicular to a rod longitudinal axis, and preferably in only one direction or on only one side of the switching element, preferably in one direction the direction of travel.
  • the interchangeable element has a single latching lug, then this is preferably arranged on the side of the interchangeable element which is directed counter to a running direction, i. on the side on which the plate area has its largest diameter - measured in a direction opposite to the direction - has. This asymmetric arrangement facilitates the deformation of the plate area and the engagement and disengagement of the locking lug.
  • the detent To release the change element from the sleeve, the detent must first be removed from the recess of the sleeve. This is preferably achieved by means of deformation of the plate area, in particular preferably by pushing down the plate area in the axial direction downward, i. towards the tip of the stick, preferably by pressure on the plate surface on its periphery. Subsequently, the change element, until the latch has moved out of the region of the recess, normally unscrewed from the sleeve while maintaining the applied pressure, and thus removed, for example, for exchange with another change element.
  • the recess can release a recess for engagement with a tool axially above the free end of the latching lug (or also laterally) in the latched state.
  • the recess can be configured slightly longer than the latching nose upwards.
  • an element facilitating the mobility of the detent nose when the stalk plate is pressed down can be provided, preferably in the form of a slot in the wall of the interchangeable element.
  • the latching lug can be integrally formed over a movable region in the form of a rocker on the interchangeable element, and preferably a pressing region can be arranged in a lower region facing the plate.
  • the interchangeable member has a partially movable portion with the latching nose, which forms the upper portion of the interchangeable member and is displaceable relative to the lower portion of the interchangeable member displaceable in the radial direction, so that the locking lug from the recess by manipulating one of the latching nose opposite pressing portion can be pushed.
  • the exchange element it is also possible to provide by suitable dimensioning and design of the sleeve and the exchange element, a construction in which the exchange element can be replaced without the aid of tools, but nevertheless does not dissolve when used as intended the exchange element.
  • This is made possible by an upper edge of the interchangeable element (which, when the interchangeable element is in contact with the lower edge of the head region of the sleeve), extending in the circumferential direction on one side or preferably on both sides of the detent lug, extending in the axial direction to the stock plate Well.
  • the axial height H is preferably at least 1.5 times longer, preferably 1.75 times longer, relative to the height h of the latching lug without depressions (ie considered for the situation where the upper edge simply runs around the circulation or optionally slightly inclined around the circulation).
  • the plate portion preferably has a reinforcing rib which advantageously extends from the detent nose (e.g., immediately below it or even externally on the nose tab) to a radial tip of the pan portion or at least partially to the pan portion.
  • the rib thus forms a coupling between locking lug and plate area.
  • the radial tip is preferably arranged at the point at which the plate area - measured in a direction opposite to the direction of travel - has its largest diameter.
  • the reinforcing rib, or else another area of the plate area can have one or more recesses, cuts or recesses, which leads to material savings and thus to weight reduction of the exchangeable element.
  • This rib causes or reinforces that, when pressed down on the plate area, the latch is also effectively displaced radially outwards and out of the recess in the sleeve. This is because, as it were, the tilting of the plate area is, to a certain extent, directly or indirectly coupled to the latching lug by the rib, with the result that, when the plate area is pressed down, the latching lug or the switching element immediately below pulls it outwards over the rib, the locking lug lifted out of the recess and thus the rotation of switching element is released to the sleeve.
  • the plate area in particular at a change element of the classic Nordic variant with a comparatively larger diameter plate area, on its underside at its lower end a toothing, which preferably along the lower edge to a part , in particular one to the rear, ie extending in the direction of travel part of the circumference of the plate area extends.
  • the male thread on the body portion of the sleeve is preferably located at an axial distance from the head portion, i. between the head region and the external thread, the body region has an upper cylindrical section which has no thread.
  • the head portion is separated from the body portion of the sleeve by a circumferential first shoulder. This first paragraph, or the lower edge of the head area formed thereby advantageously forms an upper stop for an upper edge of the change element at the upper end of the change element in its attachment to the sleeve.
  • An upper edge of the sleeve at the upper end of the sleeve preferably extends in a plane which is arranged inclined to a plane extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pole. This results in the sleeve - measured longitudinally parallel to the stock longitudinal axis - having different lengths on the front and rear sides of the sleeve, as measured from the upper edge of the sleeve to a lower edge of the sleeve at a lower end of the sleeve.
  • the head region of the sleeve is conical, with the diameter of the head region widening downwards towards the body region.
  • the above-mentioned lower edge of the head portion of the sleeve has the same diameter as the upper edge of the change element at the upper end of the change element.
  • either sleeve or interchangeable element or particularly preferably both the sleeve and the interchangeable element at least partially made of a plastic material, preferably a thermoplastic material.
  • the plastic is a thermoplastic polyamide, preferably an aliphatic polyamide such as polyamide 6, polyamide 12, polyamide 66, polyamide 126 or polyamide 612.
  • the material is preferably selected so that it does not become too soft at the usual temperatures of use Too brittle even at low temperatures, and that it has a sufficient impact resistance but still sufficient flexibility for the mobility of the detent in particular.
  • the flexural modulus should accordingly typically be in the range of 2.5-3.5 at 23 ° C, preferably in the range of 2.75-3 MPa, at -40 ° C preferably in the range of 2.5-4, particularly preferably in the range of 3-3.75 MPa.
  • Sleeve and interchangeable element may also be due to their separate construction made of different materials to make their properties different, for example, in terms of function, assembly or wear resistance.
