Definitions

  • the invention relates to a piece of jewelry which has a base element and at least one jewelry element which is movably held in the base element such that the jewelry element is movably held relative to the base element, and in which the jewelry element is arranged at least in regions in a depression in the base element and by at least one retaining element against one Falling out of the recess is secured, and in which the retaining element, starting from the base element, extends over only part of an upper side of the decorative element such that a center of the upper side is not covered by the retaining element.
  • Such pieces of jewelry in particular with movably held diamonds, are already known in different embodiments. For example, such jewelry in the WO 2014/082622 A1 described. There, the movable diamond is secured against falling out by a bracket-like retaining element extending over the diamond.
  • Another state of the art is the EP 13 36 351 B1 educated.
  • the already known pieces of jewelry with movable jewelry elements have the disadvantage that the area in the area of an upper side of the jewelry element that has particularly high light-reflecting properties is often covered by the retaining element.
  • a so-called facet cut is often arranged in the area of the top, which leads to diverse light reflections.
  • a piece of jewelry is already known in which a jewelry element is movably mounted in the area of a base element.
  • the decorative element is secured movably in a recess by a retaining element.
  • the retaining element extends over part of a lateral surface of the decorative element.
  • the object of the present invention is to construct a piece of jewelry of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that visually perceptible reflection effects can be perceived again in an improved manner.
  • the central area of the top of the jewelry element is visually freely recognizable.
  • light can fall on this area without hindrance through the retaining element and, depending on a respective spatial positioning of the reflection surfaces, the light can be thrown back freely in all directions predetermined by the reflection surfaces.
  • the brilliant effect when wearing the piece of jewelry is hereby significantly improved again compared to the prior art and an increased attention value can be achieved.
  • the decorative element is designed as a gem.
  • the piece of jewelry is designed as a diamond. More diverse reflection effects are achieved in that an upper side of the jewelry element has ground facets.
  • the retaining element is at a distance from a bottom of the depression in such a way that a lifting movement of the decorative element is made possible.
  • the retaining element is at a distance from a bottom of the depression in such a way that a tilting movement of the decorative element is made possible.
  • the retaining element is at a distance from a bottom of the depression in such a way that a rotational movement of the decorative element is made possible.
  • the piece of jewelry is designed as a ring, it proves advantageous that a longitudinal axis of the jewelry element extends essentially in a vertical direction.
  • the piece of jewelry is designed as an ear stud, chain pendant or necklace, it proves advantageous that a longitudinal axis of the jewelry element extends essentially in a horizontal direction.
  • Optimal visual recognition of the jewelry element in combination with a further enlargement of the reflection possibilities is provided in that the jewelry element is arranged in the base element in a visually recognizable manner at least in some areas.
  • Figure 1 shows a piece of jewelry (1) which has a base element (2) and a movable jewelry element (3) guided in the base element (2).
  • the decorative element (3) is secured against falling out of the base element (2) by four retaining elements (4).
  • Three of the four retaining elements (4) are in Figure 1 visible.
  • the retaining elements (4) according to FIG. 1 have a hook-like construction.
  • spacer webs (5) initially extend, which are then transferred to stop webs (6).
  • the stop webs (6) protrude beyond the jewelry element (3) in edge regions of the jewelry element (3).
  • a center (7) of the jewelery element (3) is thereby freely visually recognizable.
  • the jewelry element (3) is designed as a diamond which has a multiplicity of facets (9) in the region of an upper side (8).
  • Figure 3 shows a perspective top view of the piece of jewelry (1) according to Figure 1 .
  • the essentially symmetrical arrangement of the retaining elements (4) can be seen here. This symmetrical arrangement is illustrated by the top view in Figure 4 clarified and illustrated again.
  • Figure 5 illustrates that the decorative element (4) can, for example, perform tilting movements illustrated by the black arrows.
  • the decorative element (3) is at a distance from the retaining elements (4).
  • movements oriented relative to a longitudinal axis (19) with at least one transverse component as well as movements in the direction of the longitudinal axis (10) are possible.
  • the retaining element (4) provides a first boundary point (11) and a second boundary point (12) for the decorative element (3).
  • the terms “points” are not to be understood mathematically here, but rather technically, which means that relatively small-sized boundary surfaces are actually provided.
  • Figure 7 shows an embodiment of the piece of jewelry (1) as a ring.
  • the base element (2) here has a shell-like basic contour for receiving the jewelry element (3) in certain areas.
  • the first delimitation point (11) provided by the retaining element (4) and the second delimitation point (12) provided by the base element (2) can be seen in this embodiment.
  • the black arrows illustrate the possibilities of movement both in a lateral tilting direction and in a rotational direction.
  • Figure 9 illustrates again a side view of the combination of the base element (2) with the decorative element (3) and retaining elements (4).
  • FIG. 10 shown enlarged representation of the detail (X)
  • Figure 9 illustrates in a cross-sectional representation the constructive realization of a conical depression in the base element (2).
  • the conical depression has an opening angle (14).
  • the opening angle is typically at least 99 degrees and typically a maximum of 160 degrees. Opening angles (14) in a range from 104 degrees to 115 degrees have proven to be extremely advantageous. According to Figure 10 the opening angle actually realized is 106.32 degrees.
  • a base region (15) of the decorative element (3) also extends with a conical base contour.
  • a typical opening angle (16) in the illustrated embodiment is 98 degrees.
  • Figure 11 shows again the piece of jewelry (1) with base element (2) and jewelry element (3).
  • Figure 12 shows the enlarged detail (XII) Figure 11 to illustrate a distance (17) between the retaining element (4) and the decorative element (3).
  • the distance (17) is preferably at least 0.05 mm.
  • the distance (17) is preferably at most 0.7 mm.
  • a distance (17) in a range from 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm has proven to be advantageous.
  • Figure 13 illustrates in an enlarged view again the guidance of the jewelry element (3) in the base element (2).
  • FIG. 14 Another illustration shows Figure 14 the holder of the decorative element (3) using retaining elements (4) in the base element (2).
  • Figure 15 illustrates a concrete realization of the distance (17) with a value of 0.05 mm.
  • Figure 17 shows an embodiment of the piece of jewelry (1) as an ear stud.
  • the jewelry element (3) it is in particular possible for the jewelry element (3) to be oriented with its longitudinal axis (10) with a horizontal alignment component.
  • a very open arrangement and mounting of the jewelry element (3) is realized.
  • many areas of the jewelery element (3) can also be freely recognized from the side.
  • the first point of contact (11) is provided by the retaining element (4) and the second point of contact (12) by the base element (2).
  • a projection (18) in the area of an inner boundary of the retaining element (4) facing the jewelry element (3), which has, for example, a direction tapering towards the jewelry element (3). This can be achieved, for example, by conical design of the projection (18).
  • an insert (22) is arranged in the area of the base element 2, through which the recess (13) is provided for receiving and guiding the decorative element (3).
  • a direct introduction of the depression (13) into the material of the base element (2) would be possible.
  • An insert (22) can also be used in all other embodiments.
  • the jewelry element (3) is largely freely visually visible, apart from that area which is accommodated by the base element (2) or by the insert (22), and is only partially covered by the retaining element (4).
  • the decorative element (3) can perform both tilting and lifting movements in the direction of the longitudinal axis (19) as well as rotational movements around the longitudinal axis (10) within the range of movement provided by the boundary points (11, 12).
  • the jewelry element (3) it is possible to hold the jewelry element (3), for example in a part of its extension facing the base element (2), from an insert which is then partially received by the recess (13).
  • an insert could, for example, have a hollow cone-like design.
