Description

The present invention relates to the field of evacuations of water on the ground and in particular the field of evacuation grids, for gutters, or any other equipment of soil and of recovery of runoff water. More particularly it relates to a device, which is at least partially concealed, in particular a channel, an assembly with such a channel and at least two covering elements and a method of mounting such a channel with at least two elements coating.

Le document JP 2016 061021 décrit un caniveau selon le préambule de la revendication 1.Channels are known with a channel body covered by a grid, on which a longitudinal projection is formed over the length of the grid body. The projection is provided with a water drainage slot, on either side of which the covering or paving is laid, such as for example the channel described in the document. FR2683557 . The document JP 2016 061021 describes a channel according to the preamble of claim 1.

A disadvantage of this type of grid is that it is necessary to provide grids with predefined heights according to the type and thickness of the coating to be used, which multiplies the models. Otherwise, the installer must re-cut the slot in the grid to prevent the slot from sticking out of the covering once it has been laid.

This type of gutter with slotted grid also reveals a rebate or a fine grid once the covering has been laid. This can be unsightly or deemed too visible.

The document GB 2,397,324 also describes a channel according to the preamble of claim 1. A disadvantage of this type of grid is that it is necessary to provide grids with a predefined width depending on the width of the covering to be used.

An object of the invention is to provide a set of gutters making it possible to adapt to the height of the covering.

To this end, the invention provides a gutter according to claim 1, a gutter assembly according to claim 8 and a method according to claim 9. The gutter comprises a gutter chute, the chute having a gutter bottom and a wall of chute, a gutter cover, the cover having an opening body, with an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface, with at least one opening in the upper surface for receiving at least two covering elements. At least two coating spacer elements, for the stop of the at least two coating elements on either side of the at least two elements spacers are provided in which the at least two spacer elements are aligned on the upper surface in an alignment direction and are separated by said at least one opening in the alignment direction. The at least two spacer elements protrude from the upper surface of the cover body, thereby forming with said at least one opening a discharge mouth.

Thus, the gutter comprises a gutter cover which provides a recovery of support for a finishing coating which is superimposed on the cover and on the ground adjacent to the chute, while allowing the delimitation of a water passage space when the covering is laid, using the at least one discharge opening formed between the spacer elements in the alignment direction.

The cover can be in one piece or in several parts. An example of a cover is a gutter grid placed in a block on the chute.

The at least two spacer elements can be chosen from a plurality of studs, formed integrally with the cover body, a plurality of spiders, a plurality of removable pins attached to the grid body.

According to one embodiment, the studs have a thickness which decreases away from the upper surface of the covering body, in particular a pointed, frustoconical, pyramidal shape. Such a shape reduces the risk of obstruction and facilitates the maintenance or cleaning of the gutter.

In one embodiment, the studs have a height of approximately 8 mm and / or a thickness of approximately 8 mm. Such a height is less than a majority of the coverings envisaged. A thickness less than or equal to 8 mm ensures a width between two covering elements sufficient for the passage of water and remaining compatible with barefoot circulation within the meaning of standard EN1253-2.

According to yet another embodiment, the cover comprises a second plurality of second openings in the upper surface distinct from the first openings. Second openings can help prevent water retention, which could otherwise cause nuisance such as mosquito breeding places or frost cracking.

In one embodiment, the cover can be positioned either in a discharge position in which the spacer element studs project outwards on the side opposite the bottom of the channel, or in a viewing position in which the spacer element studs protrude towards the bottom of the gutter. So the cover is reversible.

The cover body may include a cavity or recess for housing a gripping element, in particular a nut, and the cavity comprising a water discharge hole for the passage. The hole can also serve as a benchmark serve as a benchmark for installation by allowing the introduction of a pen point or a punch in order to mark the drilling axis.

When the cover is in the viewing position, it may include a gripping element housed in an imprint, to allow easy handling of the cover.

The invention also provides an assembly comprising such a channel and at least two covering elements disposed at least in part on the channel cover, abutting on either side against the at least two spacer elements, thus forming a passage for evacuation at least in part between the at least two covering elements in the direction of alignment of the spacer elements. In the assembly according to the invention, the spacer elements ensure the width and the alignment of the slot, and it is the height of the covering, which defines the slot height.

The invention also relates to a method of assembling such a gutter assembly and / or using such a gutter comprising the steps consisting in laying a gutter / gutter in a gutter laying area, laying the gutter cover on the gutter chute and place the at least two spacer elements by orienting them outwards, and place the at least two covering elements on the grid, in abutment on either side the at least two spacer elements, thereby forming an at least partially water discharge passage between the at least two covering elements, in the direction of alignment of the spacer elements.

Thus, according to the present invention, it is the height of the coating which defines the height of the water passage or slot. The cover incorporates spacer elements which ensure the width and alignment of the slit thus formed. This delimitation of the passage can be done whatever the nature and thickness of the coating, without adjustment operation or use of elements. related.

In an embodiment in which the spacer elements are removable, the step of placing the at least two spacer elements by orienting them outward comprising the step of attaching the spacer elements to the cover body.

In one embodiment, the cover being made of composite or thermoplastic material, for example PVC, and the method comprises the step of bonding the at least two covering elements to the grid, using a sealant type MS polymer .

The figure 1 illustrates a set of channel 1 according to an embodiment of the invention.

The channel assembly 1 comprises a channel 2 with a channel chute 10 covered with a channel cover 20. During assembly and as illustrated in FIG. figure 1 two covering elements 62, 64, which do not form part of the assembly but which complement it, are assembled bearing at least in part on the cover 20, and on the adjacent ground zone around the gutter channel.

A reception zone 16 is provided on the chute 10 to receive the cover 20.

An example of channel cover is illustrated on the figure 2 . The channel cover 20 has a cover body 22, with an upper surface 24 and a lower surface 26 opposite the upper surface, and at least two spacer elements 40. At least one opening 30 being provided between said at least two spacers 40 .

On the figure 2 , ten spacer elements 40 are provided, aligned on the upper surface 24 in an alignment direction XX. The ten spacer elements 40 are separated by nine openings 30 in the upper surface 24, in the direction of alignment XX. The ten spacer elements protrude from the upper surface 24 of the cover body 22, thus forming, with the nine openings 30, nine discharge outlets 32.

The alignment direction XX corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the cover body. Thus, the alignment direction XX corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the channel, as clearly seen in the figures. This makes it possible to create a slot having a much longer extent than the width of the channel.

On the figure 2 , ten spacer elements 40 are provided alternately with nine cover openings. This is only a nonlimiting example. Those skilled in the art will understand that at least two spacer elements 40 spaced by an opening 30 are required to form at least one discharge mouth 32.

As seen in the figure 1 , the covering elements 62, 64 are placed on the cover, in abutment against the spacer elements 40 on either side of the spacer elements 40. Thus, a slot or a passage 5 materializes between the covering elements 62, 64 , to allow the evacuation of water by the evacuation outlet (s) 32. This delimitation of the passage can be done whatever the nature and the thickness of the coating, without adjustment operation or use of related elements.

Likewise, as can be seen in the figures, the edge of the covering elements 62, 64, on the side of the slot, placed on the covering body, rest mainly on the upper surface of the covering body, and a small part on the openings 230. In fact, the projected surface of the central cover openings represent a small percentage of the total surface of the cover body, for example between 2 and 10%, preferably between 4 and 6% of the upper surface of the cover body. The covering elements 62, 64 rest mainly on the cover and not on the vacuum of the openings. Indeed it is desirable that the coating elements can be lifted not inadvertently during normal use but only for a specific cleaning or disassembly situation. In addition, a support over a large part of the periphery guarantees a low risk of breakage on the edges of the covering elements.

In other words, according to the present invention, the cover 20 incorporates spacer elements 40 which ensure the width and alignment of the slot, and it is the height of the covering 62, 64, which defines the height of the slot 5 .

Another example of gutter cover is illustrated on the figure 3a (front view) and on the figures 3b-3c (view from below or back), positioned on a gutter chute 10.

The channel cover 220 has a cover body 222, with an upper surface 224 and a lower surface 226 opposite the upper surface, and a plurality of spacer elements 240.

On the figure 3a , ten spacer elements 240 are provided, aligned on the upper surface 224 in an alignment direction XX. The ten spacer elements 240 are separated by nine openings 230 in the upper surface 224, in the direction of alignment XX. The ten spacer elements protrude from the upper surface 224 of the cover body 222, thus forming with the nine openings 230 nine outlet openings 232.

On the figures 2 and 3a-3c , the spacer elements 40, 240 are studs formed integrally with the cover body 22, 222. This is only a nonlimiting example. As illustrated and explained in more detail on Figures 7 and 8 , the spacer elements can be attachments on the cover body, in the form of studs, rods, cross-pieces.

The pads 240 of the cover 220 are of frustoconical shape. A person skilled in the art will understand that a thickness which decreases as it moves away from the upper surface of the covering body, such as for example studs in a point, frustoconical or pyramidal shape, makes it possible to reduce the risks of obstruction and facilitate the maintenance or cleaning of the cover and the gutter in use.

The studs or spacers may have a height of 8 mm and / or a thickness of 8 mm. This height dimension makes it possible to have a height less than the majority of coating thicknesses envisaged. A maximum thickness of 8 mm makes it possible to guarantee a width between two covering elements sufficiently large to allow the evacuation of water, while remaining within the standards in the field (for example less than the dimension of a toe and compatible with barefoot circulation).

Les deuxièmes ouvertures 270 sont distinctes des premières ouvertures 230.The cover body 222 also includes a plurality of second openings 270 in the upper surface 224. The second openings 270 are separate from the first openings 230.

These second openings are intended to be under the covering, in use. These second openings are provided to avoid water retention, regardless of the direction in which the blanket is laid, which could otherwise cause nuisance such as mosquito breeding grounds or frost cracking, when the blanket 222 is in functional position on the channel chute 10.

These second openings also represent a small percentage of the upper surface of the cover body, for example between 2 and 10%, preferably between 4 and 6% of the upper surface of the cover body.

The cover body 222 of the cover 220 illustrated on the Figures 3a and 3b is also provided with a cavity or recess 250, to accommodate a gripping element, in particular a nut. The imprint 250 is illustrated in detail on the figures 4 and 5 . The impression 250 has an impression body 254 intended to accommodate a gripping element 256, for example a nut, as illustrated in the figure 5 . The impression body 254 has a shape corresponding to the shape of the gripping element.

The imprint 250 includes a hole 252, for the evacuation of water. The hole 252 can also serve as a guide for a installer for mounting, for example by allowing the introduction of a punch or a pen tip in order to mark the drilling axis in the flooring material.

On the figure 1 , the cover is positioned in a discharge position in which the spacer elements project outwards on the side opposite the bottom of the gutter. The cover is reversible and can be in a viewing position in which the studs (if attached or formed integrally with the cover body) protrude towards the bottom of the gutter, as illustrated on the Figures 6a and 6b .

Thus, the cover can also have a look function on the side opposite the studs. The cover is reversible with spacer elements on the front side to materialize an evacuation slot, in use, and a look on reverse side function.

Another example of cover 320 is illustrated on the figure 7 , according to another embodiment of the invention. Coverage 320 according to figure 6 essentially differs from covers 20, 220 of figures 2 and 3a-3b , respectively, in that the 320 coverage includes spacer elements 340 which are attached to the cover body but are not integrally formed with the cover body.

To the figure 7 , the spacer elements are cross bars.

The figure 8 illustrates a cover of channel 420 according to yet another embodiment of the invention. In the example of the figure 8 , the cover 420 includes holes 442 for accommodating spacer elements 440 which are not formed integrally with the cover body. In this example, the spacer elements 440 are removable pins. On the figure 8 , only part of the spacer elements 440 has been reported in cover 420.

The figure 9 shows yet another embodiment of a channel cover 520. In the example of the figure 9 , the spacer elements 540 are positioned laterally on the upper surface with respect to a substantially central position illustrated on the covers of the figures 2 to 5 .

All the components of the system can be made of plastic, concrete, metal or composite, integral or dissociated from the channel body.

A method of mounting at least two covering elements on a channel is illustrated in figure 10 , with reference to the figure 1 .

In a first step S1, the installer can place a channel chute 10 in a channel laying area.

The cover 20 can then be placed on the gutter trough, with the spacer elements orienting them towards the outside and not towards the bottom of the trunking 12 (step S2)

A person skilled in the art understands that when the spacer elements are formed integrally with the cover, as for the covers of the Figures 1 to 5 and 9 , the installer simply places the cover 20, 220 in the front position with the upper surface 24, 224 facing outwards, on the chute 10.

When the spacer elements are not formed integrally with the cover, such as the covers of the figures 7 to 9 , either the installer simply places the cover 320, 420, 520 in the front position, on the chute 10, and then attach the spacer elements, or the installer can otherwise first bring the spacer elements onto the upper surface of the cover, in the holes provided for this purpose, then place it on the chute.

Then the installer can place the covering elements on the roof and the installation area. For this, the installer can adjust the covering elements in abutment on either side of the two spacer elements, thus forming a slit or water evacuation passage between the covering elements in the direction of alignment of the spacer elements. (step S3).

Once the assembly is complete, the covering elements 62, 64 together with the spacer elements materialize a water evacuation passage in the alignment direction. A regular space for the passage of water is obtained, whatever the nature and thickness of the coating, without any adjustment operation or use of related elements, as long as the coating is thicker than the height of the spacer elements.

Those skilled in the art understand that the covering elements can be positioned in abutment against the spacer elements, but do not necessarily have to be aligned opposite one another along the direction of alignment. A gap between the covering elements is possible, for technical or aesthetic reasons.

For example, for a cover with 5 spacer elements, one can have a first covering element on the right side (for example), in abutment against the first two spacer elements, a second covering element on the right side in abutment the last three spacer elements, while on the left side, a third coating element is in abutment against the first three spacer elements while a fourth coating element is in abutment against the last two spacer elements.

If second openings are planned, as for cover 220 of the figure 3a, 3b , they are covered by the coating 62, 64. These second openings are provided to avoid water retention, which could otherwise cause nuisance such as mosquito breeding places or freezing cracking, when the cover 220 is in the functional position on the gutter channel 10.

The cover is preferably made of PVC material, the covering elements can be glued to the cover, using a type MS polymer sealant.

Although the process has been described using a one-piece cover, it will be understood that the assembly process can also be applied using a cover in two or more parts placed on a support. on the trunking, and spaced by cross bars or other spacers.

Thus, the present invention provides a gutter cover which provides support recovery for a finishing coating which is superimposed on the cover and the adjacent floor; the delimitation of a regular space for the passage of water, whatever the nature and thickness of the coating, without any adjustment operation or use of related elements.
