Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a sealing device for window and door elements, as well as to window and door elements with a sealing device of the present invention.
  • the WO 2007/051441 A1 discloses a window or the like. With automatic locking and simultaneous sealing, with a controllable mechanism simultaneously on all sides of its wing locking strips into a locking channel of the counter-profile and at the same time by means of a molded seal, the sash and the frame both in the closed and in the open State seals against each other and the mechanism can be used in the wing or in the frame.
  • Sealing devices for window and door elements are usually sealed by rebate seals. These have the disadvantage of presenting a risk of injury due to the sharp-edged steps or fittings.
  • threshold-free or barrier-free doors or sliding doors but often a groove or joint must be provided in the door threshold area of sliding doors to accommodate the opening mechanism or the chassis. These openings are particularly susceptible to contamination and disturbing objects which can impair the function.
  • Doors with automatic, lowerable seals do not close ideally because the beginning and the end of the sealing profile in the transition to the circumferential rebate seal are usually not tight or will leak over time.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a sealing device which overcomes one or more problems of the known systems.
  • a sealing device for at least one window element and / or door element, wherein the window element / door element can be arranged in a wall opening of a building.
  • the sealing device has at least one first sealing device which is arranged essentially parallel to a horizontal side of the window element / door element and at least one second sealing device which is arranged essentially parallel to a vertical side of the window element / door element.
  • the sealing devices are each arranged in a first recess of a first profile element. In a first state, the sealing devices seal a gap between an edge of the window element / door element and an opposite side of the wall opening and in a second state are spaced from the edge of the window element / door element or the opposite side of the wall opening.
  • the first recess essentially completely accommodates the sealing devices in the second state, and the sealing devices run essentially flat with the first profile element.
  • the second sealing device has a recess at at least one end of the sealing device, wherein the recess corresponds to the negative shape of the first sealing device and in the first state butt abuts the first sealing device and sealingly closes an opening between the first and the second sealing device.
  • the sealing device preferably has at least one adjusting device, wherein the at least one adjusting device is attached in the first recess, the sealing devices being attached to the at least one adjusting device, and wherein the adjusting device is adjustable back and forth between the first state and the second state.

  • the components in the opening can be pressed from the outer sides (front edges) and thus sealed.
  • the sealing part preferably forms a plane with the threshold / soffit.
  • This requires a movable sealing element which creates a seal between the component and the reveal of the opening and runs around the corners.
  • This has the following advantages over a normal rebate seal:
  • the pivot points no longer have to be on the outer edge, but can lie freely in the opening. This allows the weight of the wings (components) to be borne more easily.
  • the circulating Profiles are less stressed, which means that the circumferential profiles on the sash can be minimized.
  • a uniform circumferential seal has the advantage that elements are freely compatible and do not have to hit a stop or have to be raised / lowered.
  • the seal is designed in such a way that it adapts to the shape and the reveal is sealed with the wing element. This has the advantage, among other things, that incorrect operation can be avoided, for example that the seal cannot be completely closed and the lock can be operated.
  • the sealing profile is preferably designed to be elastic.
  • a spatial carrier is formed with the glass panes inside and outside, which means that high wind loads can be easily carried away, the glass is used optimally statically.
  • a high level of sound insulation is achieved as with composite windows and a very high level of thermal insulation is achieved.
  • a barrier-free training is advantageous with regard to handicapped-accessible building. Smooth reveals when open avoid the risk of injury to the stepped rebate profiles of standard window and door frames.
  • the present invention it is advantageously possible, inter alia, to achieve efficient sealing of a window element / door element.
  • Another advantage of the present invention is the possibility of providing complete all-round sealing of a window element / door element.
  • sealing in the corner areas of a window element / door element is possible, among other things.
  • a safety risk can be avoided by the sealing device described above.
  • the present invention offers a threshold-free solution and can thus reduce the risk of tripping.
  • no objects can penetrate into the profile frame and interfere with the functioning of the sealing device.
  • Another advantage of the present invention lies in the use of a projection which protrudes into a space between two glass elements. In this way, the heat losses in the area of the spacer profiles (spacers) can be minimized. As a result, the spacers do not need to be covered or isolated from the outside. This enables frameless glazing with good insulation at the same time.
  • FIG. 1 (a) and (b) the schematic structure of a sealing device 100 and a window element / door element 200 according to a first embodiment of the present invention is shown.
  • the sealing device 100 according to the first embodiment has a main element 140, on both sides of which a sealing lip 110 with a joint 130 is attached. On the top of the main element 140 and the sealing lip 110 are in Formed longitudinal grooves. These have the advantage that, when the sealing device 100 is closed, a seal is achieved along parallel contact lines. Furthermore, the sealing device 100 has a fastening element 120 on its underside.
  • Fig. 1 (a) and (b) furthermore show a window element / door element 200.
  • the window element / door element 200 has a space 210 and a recess 220.
  • the dashed line in the Fig. 1 (a) and (b) indicates a mirror symmetry. Elements that are designated on one side of the figure are present in the same way on the opposite side.
  • the sealing device 100 is attached with the aid of the fastening element 120 to an adjusting device (not shown here), which will be described in more detail later, in a wall opening.
  • the adjusting device is suitable for moving the sealing device 100 back and forth in a direction perpendicular to the main element 140, between a first state (closed window or closed door) and a second state (open window or open door). It shows Fig. 1 (a) the first state and Fig. 1 (b) the second state.
  • the first state of the sealing device 100 corresponds to a position in which an intermediate space between the window element / door element 200 and the wall opening is sealed in that part of the sealing device 100 is received by the recess 220 of the window element / door element 200.
  • the recess 220 is preferably trapezoidal. In this case, an optimal seal between the sealing device 100 and the window element / door element 200 is achieved.
  • the recess 220 can, however, also assume other shapes, for example rounded corners, right-angled corners, etc.
  • the second state corresponds to a position in which the sealing device 100 is spaced apart from the window element / door element 200. In this state, a position of the sealing device 100 lying as flat as possible on the wall opening is preferably achieved.
  • the sealing lip 110 is preferably trapezoidal in order to support an upward movement (from the second to the first state). Accordingly, the sealing lip 110 is under tension in the second state and becomes slow when moving into the first state relaxed and transformed into their "natural" shape.
  • a joint 130 is provided on the edge of the sealing lip 110. Thus, a seal can be achieved by twisting the joint 130. As in Fig. 1 As shown, the sealing lip 110 rests against the wall opening at two points and the seal results from the rotation at the joint 130 during the transition to the first state.
  • FIG. 2 shows a two-part sealing device 101, each with a sealing lip 110 and a fastening element 121.
  • Fig. 2 (b) the second state of the sealing device 101 analogous to FIG Fig. 1 (a) and (b) represents.
  • the sealing device 101 according to the second embodiment is designed in two parts, ie the sealing device 101 is not designed continuously in this embodiment, but is attached independently to one side of an adjusting device 400 with the aid of the fastening elements 121. This makes it easier to replace sealing devices 101.
  • the other elements and their functioning correspond to those above with reference to FIG Fig. 1 sealing device 100 already described.
  • FIG. 2 the aforementioned adjustment device 400, which is fastened in a profile frame 500.
  • the profile frame forms a recess which the adjusting device 400 can essentially completely accommodate in the second state. Since the adjustment device 400 is essentially completely sunk in the second state, it can be achieved that the sealing lips 110 provide an almost flat transition. Thus, according to the present invention, there is no risk of tripping. In addition, spaces between the adjustment device 400 and the profile frame 500 are covered by the sealing lips 110, so that no objects get into the recess which could impair the function of the adjustment device 400.
  • a window element / door element 300 with a first glass element 310 and a second glass element 320.
  • the first glass element 310 consists of a first glass pane 311 and a second glass pane 312.
  • the second glass element 320 consists of a third glass pane 321 and a fourth glass pane 322.
  • the first and second, as well as the third and fourth glass panes are each spaced from one another by a spacer 340 and the second glass pane 312 and the third glass pane 321 define an inner space with the aid of the Frame 350 of window element / door element 300.
  • FIG. 3 shows a third embodiment of the present invention.
  • Fig. 3 shows on the one hand the window element / door element 300 already described in connection with the second embodiment.
  • FIG Fig. 3 the sealing device 100 already described in connection with the first or second embodiment.
  • only the additional features or modified features compared to the first two embodiments are described in more detail.
  • the window element / door element 300 additionally a sealing element 360 and a projection 351.
  • the sealing element is introduced here between the first glass pane 301, the second glass pane 302 and the frame 350.
  • the protrusion 351 can be either a single element that can be attached to the main body 350 or can be made as part of the main body 350 from a single piece.
  • the projection 350 serves as an additional thermal resistance and can increase the thermal insulation. In other words, by introducing the projection 351, the heat conduction can be reduced. For example, heat can be prevented from escaping to the outside, since the heat flow has to take a detour and thus experiences additional resistance from the projection 351.
  • the sealing device 100 according to FIG Fig. 3 Compared to the previously described embodiments, an additional sealing lip 150 below the first sealing lip 110. As shown, the additional sealing lip 150 can be present on only one side of the sealing device 100 or on both sides of the sealing device 100 (not shown). Furthermore, the sealing device 100 comes according to FIG Fig. 3 without an additional fastener. It is only sufficient to adapt the fit of the sealing device to the adjusting device 400 to ensure that the sealing device has a good hold on the adjusting device. It can be advantageous to design the sealing device 100 so that it is easy to assemble as well as easy Disassembly can be achieved by a user. Under certain circumstances, however, the sealing device 100 can also be firmly connected to the adjusting device 400 (for example by gluing) in order to prevent the sealing device 100 from becoming detached from the adjusting device 400.
  • the shape of the recess 501 is not necessarily as in FIG Fig. 2 must be shown. Rather, many shapes of the recess 501 are conceivable. According to Fig. 3
  • the shape of the recess 501 is equivalent to the recess in the frame of the window element / door element 300.
  • the contact points of the sealing lip 110 with the main body 350 of the window element / door element 300 or with the profile frame 500 of the wall opening are shown in FIG Fig. 3 labeled D1 and D2.

  • the adjusting device can thus be attached both in the first recess of the first window element / door element 300 and in the second recess of the second window element / door element 3001.
  • a faceplate is thus shown, ie two window elements / door elements 300, 3001 abut one another.
  • the solution according to the invention is particularly advantageous in that the trapezoidal first recess (groove) running around the window element / door element 300 in the front edge is essentially the same as the second recess (groove) for receiving in the reveal or threshold on the frame (second window element / Door element 3001).
  • the seal holder can optionally also run in the first window element / door element 300. This has the advantage of free combination options and the fact that the individual sealing levels meet exactly and do not jump all around, which could disrupt or make the seal more difficult.
