Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a mullion and transom construction according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a post-and-bar construction in which a central screw channel is formed on each of the support profiles.
  • a drainage groove is provided on both sides of the screw channel, and a groove for pulling in a sealing strip is also formed on opposite sides in order to accommodate filling elements.
  • the screw groove protruding from the support profile enables simple assembly of a pressure strip by means of screws, but the thermal insulation in the area of the groove walls of the screw groove is low.
  • the face width of the support profile is comparatively wide due to the large number of grooves on the outside.
  • the DE 37 35 016 C1 discloses a frame construction in which the post profile has a screw groove which extends between two insulating glass panes, which is disadvantageous for the thermal insulation.
  • the DE 41 05 208 A1 discloses a building facade construction in which a plurality of connector elements are fixed to a groove on a support profile, which are used to assemble a pressure strip which is stretched towards glazing elements.
  • the support profile is T-shaped in cross section and has grooves for sealing profiles on both sides of the central groove for the connector elements.
  • the EP 1 329 566 A1 discloses a mullion and transom construction in which the profiles have a central screw channel on an outside. Anchoring grooves for seals are provided on both sides of the screw channel. However, no additional hollow chamber is assigned to the screw channel within the profile. In a cavity of the profiles only grooves for inserting projections of a sealing collar are provided. A similar support profile with a central screw groove is also in the EP 2 787 138 A1 shown.
  • the DE 38 12 223 A1 discloses a facade with a support structure consisting of mullion and transom profiles, in which the fire protection panes are clampingly fixed by means of a pressure strip which is fixed by means of screws. A head of the screw is held in a groove of a profile.
  • a facade with a day profile is shown, which is provided with a screw groove for fixing a pressure strip, the groove walls not extending into between the insulating glass pane.
  • the support profile has a central groove with groove walls. These groove walls are accommodated between the sealing strips, a contact plane of the filling elements on the sealing strips being arranged closer to the pressure strip than the groove walls of the central groove. This ensures that the groove walls, which are mostly made of metal and are a good heat conductor, do not protrude into the space between the filling elements and thus ensure poor thermal insulation. Rather, the short design of the groove walls, which are accommodated between the sealing strips, is advantageous for thermal insulation, since the space between the filling elements can easily be thermally insulated by appropriate insulating elements.
  • the middle groove has a groove bottom on which a hollow chamber is formed on the side facing away from the groove.
  • This hollow chamber can be used for the assembly of further components, in particular a slot nut can be inserted into the hollow chamber. At least one inwardly directed web can be provided on the hollow chamber to guide the slot nut. Additionally or alternatively, a wall of the hollow chamber can run parallel to and at a distance from the groove base, through which a screw for fixing a component extends, so that the middle groove can assume a fastening function on the support profile in a variety of ways.
  • the hollow chamber arranged adjacent to the groove base preferably has essentially the same width as the groove. This enables a particularly compact design with high thermal insulation.
  • the support profile also preferably has a small width, the width being perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the grooves on an outside of the support profile is smaller than 50 mm, preferably smaller than 45 mm, in particular smaller than 38 mm, for example about 35 mm.
  • the support profile can also be used for filigree mullion and transom constructions.
  • a high level of thermal insulation is obtained regardless of the width of the support profiles, as the groove for receiving the fasteners does not protrude into the contact plane of the filling elements. It is therefore also possible to use the construction shown for particularly wide support profiles, for example wider 50mm.
  • the middle groove or a hollow chamber adjacent to the groove bottom of the middle groove is at least in some areas a drainage channel for draining off penetrating water. This means that additional drainage grooves that increase the width of the support profile can be dispensed with.
  • the middle groove or a hollow chamber is used adjacent to the groove bottom of the middle groove for drainage.
  • At least one glass carrier is suspended from the central groove.
  • the middle groove can thereby assume a multiple function, on the one hand for fastening the fastening means and on the other hand for fastening the glass support, facade swords and other components, assembly elements.
  • a recess is preferably provided on the groove for a sealing strip, on which an end section of a further support profile is mounted, and a drainage channel of the further support profile opens into the middle groove or into a hollow chamber adjacent to the groove bottom the middle groove.
  • At least one recess is provided on a groove bottom in the middle groove of the vertical support profile, into which a hook of a glass carrier is suspended.
  • the glass carrier has a vertically aligned hanging part provided with one or more hooks, on which a horizontally aligned support part is fixed, on which the filling elements can at least partially rest.
  • a rib is formed on the support profile on a groove bottom of the middle groove.
  • the support profile 1 shown of a post-and-bar construction which is used in particular as a facade, light roof or sloping roof, can be used as a substantially vertical post or substantially horizontal bar.
  • the support profile 1 comprises two grooves 2 on one outside, on each of which a sealing strip 3 is fixed. Furthermore, a middle groove 4 is provided between the two grooves 2, which is used to attach a pressure strip 6 in order to fix a filling element 5 in a clamping manner between the sealing strips 3 and sealing strips 7 on the pressure profile 6.
  • the support profile 1 is preferably made of metal, in particular aluminum, but can also be made of wood or plastic and, if necessary, also be formed in several parts, for example with an attachment profile that is attached to a Beam is fixed.
  • the support profile 1 can be designed as a hollow profile, in particular with a large number of hollow chambers of different sizes.
  • the filling elements 5 can be designed as insulating glass panes, but other plate-shaped elements can also be attached to the support profile 1.
  • a cover profile 8 is latched on the outside of the pressure strip 6 and has essentially the same width as the support profile 1 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the grooves 2.
  • an insulating element 9 is arranged in the space between the end faces of the adjacent filling elements 5.
  • the insulating element 9 comprises a web which extends from the inside of the support profile 1 to the outside, with two vertically protruding arms 90 extending from the web, which partially rest on an outside of the filling elements 5.

  • a head section 11 of a fastening means 10 is inserted into the middle groove 4, the head section 11 being engaged from behind by inwardly projecting webs 40 and thus the fastening means 10 being secured against being pulled out.
  • the fastening means 10 can be displaced with the head section 11 along the middle groove 4 during assembly and is then fixed by the clamping forces when a nut 13 on the outside is screwed onto a threaded section 12 of the fastening means in order to clamp the pressure strip 6 in place.
  • a bolt of the fastening means 10 extends through the softer filling material 92 and is received in the plastic webs 91.
  • the sealing strip 7 rests on an arm 90 of the insulating element 9 and presses it against the outside of the filling element 5.
