Definitions
- the invention relates to a refractory wall, in particular for a combustion furnace, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- Such refractory walls are e.g. used in combustion chambers of combustion plants.
- the boiler wall is often designed as a metal pipe wall and is usually made of webs connected by pipes.
- the fire-resistant protective cover which is suspended at a distance from the pipe wall, is intended to protect the pipe wall from corrosion by flue gases.
- the refractory protective cover is usually formed in rows and columns next to or above one another arranged plates.
- Refractory walls are e.g. also used in fluidized bed ovens, where the boiler wall consists of a more or less thick simple metal wall. Again, the boiler wall or metal wall to be protected from corrosion.
- the panels of the protective cover are usually mutually sealed by various measures to some extent to prevent the passage of flue gases. However, in practice this alone can not completely avoid that corrosive flue gases can pass through the protective cover and attack the boiler wall.
- So-called ventilated wall systems address this problem by the fact that a protective gas - generally air - is pumped through the space between the boiler wall and the distance superior protective lining.
- the gas or air is in this case with respect to the combustion chamber under a slight overpressure, which prevents the flue gases from penetrating from the combustion chamber into the wall space and can attack the boiler wall or other metal parts.
- a generic refractory wall is for example in the document CH 699 406 A2 described.
- the Air supply or more generally the supply of inert gas into the space between the boiler wall and its protective cover through a plurality of at the lower end of the refractory wall transversely across these arranged inlet openings in the boiler wall, which from the fireproof side of the refractory wall ago from at least one supply channel be fed.
- the inlet openings are arranged in the boiler wall in the region of vertically continuous grooves of the plates of the protective covering, so that the gas or the air (from the side) is primarily supplied to these grooves and can distribute over these in the entire wall.
- either the panels of the protective covering are themselves provided with transverse channels, or are individual horizontal rows of panels arranged at certain vertical intervals, for example 2-4 m in each case, at a somewhat greater distance from the boiler wall than the remaining panels. so that horizontal cross channels are formed over which the gas or the air can spread over the wall width.
- the invention has for its object to improve a refractory wall of the generic type with respect to the supply of protective gas or air in the space between the boiler wall and the protective cover.
- a refractory wall in particular for a combustion furnace comprises a boiler wall and at a distance from this superior refractory protective covering of a plurality of juxtaposed and stacked in rows and columns refractory plates, each having at least one Plate holder are fixed to the boiler wall, wherein the refractory wall has a ventilated wall portion, in the region between the boiler wall and the protective cover a gap is present, and wherein the refractory wall comprises gas supply means for supplying a protective gas in the intermediate space.
- the gas supply means comprise a gas distribution channel and at least one gas supply line for supplying protective gas into the gas distribution channel.
- the Gasverteilkanal is arranged with respect to the installation position of the refractory wall at the lower end of the ventilated wall portion and below the Gasverteilkanals is not a ventilated wall section.
- the gas distribution channel is arranged with respect to the boiler wall on the same side as the protective cover and extends across the protective cover.
- the Gasverteilkanal is communicating over its length continuously or at a plurality of discrete locations communicating with the gap between the above him located part of the protective cover and the boiler wall.
- the gas distribution channel is formed by a gas distribution box into which the at least one gas supply line opens.
- a gas distribution box is easy to implement and quick to install.
- the gas distribution box has a plurality of gas outlet openings, which in the space between the boiler wall and the Open protective cover. Due to the plurality of gas outlet openings, an optimal protective gas distribution can be achieved.
- the gas distribution channel is formed by at least one row of juxtaposed and spaced from the vessel wall refractory plates. This has the advantage that the Gasverteilkanal can be realized without special additional design elements.
- the Gasverteilkanal is bounded on one side by the boiler wall.
- the existing boiler wall as Gasverteilkanalwand the gas distribution channel is easier and cheaper to produce.
- the at least one gas supply line opens laterally through the boiler wall into the gas distribution channel.
- the gas supply line can be made so short.
- the at least one gas supply line opens from below into the gas distribution channel, wherein the at least one gas supply line is expediently guided through the boiler wall below the gas distribution channel and then extends upwards between the boiler wall and the protective lining and opens into the gas distribution channel.
- the boiler wall is designed as a pipe wall with pipes connected by webs.
- the boiler wall in the region of the ventilated wall portion above the Gasverteilkanals no gas supply lines for supplying gas into the space.
- Location and direction designations such as top, bottom, side by side, one above the other, laterally, vertically, horizontally, height and width refer to the usual vertical inserting position of the refractory wall shown in the drawing.
- the Fig. 1 shows schematically a combustion furnace V equipped with a refractory wall W according to the invention.
- the wall W is subdivided into an upper, ventilated wall section W 1 and a lower, rear-cast wall section W 2 . Description

Fig. 4 ).
Fig. 4 ) und 22a (Fig. 10 ) der Platten 21 bzw.
Fig. 10 ).
