Definitions
- the present invention relates to a storage system for vehicles, especially for two-wheelers, bicycles or motorcycles.
- the vehicles are stored individually or together in a storage area.
- the WO 2014/017919 A1 describes a storage unit for storing bicycles with a plurality of adjacent, vertically extending bicycle storage columns comprising stacked bicycle storage rooms, each having an enclosure for the protection of the bicycles
- the EP 1 031 679 A1 shows a device for parking bicycles, comprising concentrically arranged wheels, each wheel comprises a plurality of bicycle parking elements, which are aligned substantially parallel to the axis of rotation.
- the bikes are staggered to save space.
- the US 6,345,948 B1 shows a simple container storage system for self-parking vehicles with different storage levels, in which trays can be stored with the vehicles.
- the WO 2007/029026 shows a storage box for a motorcycle, with enough space in the box is available to stow a motorcycle and related equipment, such as helmet and protective clothing therein.
- the box has an access system which allows an authorized person access. If several motorcycles are to be stowed, several such boxes must be arranged side by side. This requires a lot of space and a large installation and maintenance effort, since the boxes are independent of each other and each must be powered and each has its own access system.
- the US 2010/0204823 shows an automated bicycle storage system in which a bicycle at a loading and unloading station with the front wheel at a designated Hook can be hung.
- a robotic arm transfers the hooked bicycle to a transport system located in a storage area, which simultaneously serves for transport and storage.
- Such a storage system only allows the storage of bicycles without accessories.
- the US 5,845,788 shows a bicycle storage system in which several bicycles can be arranged on a common rod next to each other. The arrangement takes place by means of special suspension devices, which can be fastened to the respective handlebar and saddle. Several rods are connected to each other with common, self-contained transport chains. In such a storage system, the supply of the bicycle is complex and the arrangement of the bicycles allows a user to have access to all the bicycles.
- a storage system for vehicles, in particular two-wheelers, bicycles or motorcycles, has a substantially closed housing with a storage area not accessible from the outside and at least one lockable loading and unloading station of the vehicles, a transport system for transporting the vehicles from the at least one and unloading station in the storage area and within the storage area, wherein the vehicles can be stored and transported in separate containers.
- This has the advantage that, for example, a bicycle can be easily pushed into the container at the loading and unloading station.
- it allows only an authorized user access to the respective vehicle and it can in addition to the vehicle also other items such as luggage, clothes, helmets or power storage, such as batteries or the like, housed in the container and stored safely.
- Each container in the at least one loading and unloading station is at least partially extendable from the housing. This allows the arrangement of the loading and unloading at any point of the housing. - the door and the lid are operatively connected and movable together.
- opening the lid may cause the door to open at the same time and close when the lid closes. This simplifies the operation.
- support elements such as spring elements or counterweights, can be arranged in or on the container, which support the opening and closing of the door and / or lid, which makes the operation more pleasant, since less force has to be expended.
- the transport system is configured such that the containers can be conveyed in the horizontal or vertical direction. This allows flexible storage of the vehicles, which conform to the local installation conditions is customizable.
- the transport system is divided into units which are responsible for the horizontal transport of the containers and divided into units which are responsible for the vertical transport of the containers and wherein the containers are independently or jointly movable with each other.
- This allows a modular structure of the storage system, which contributes to the optimal use of the available space.
- a plurality of horizontal transport units can be arranged one above the other, which can be combined with one or more vertical transport units, or a limited amount of vertical transport units can be arranged side by side, which can be combined with one or more horizontal transport units.
- the individual transport units can have their own drives or can have a common drive. This applies to horizontal or vertical transport units with each other or to the combination of horizontal and vertical transport units.
- the units for vertically transporting the containers are each disposed laterally on opposite sides of the units for horizontal transport of the containers or the units for horizontal transport of the containers are respectively above or below on an opposite side of the units for vertical transport Container arranged.
- This arrangement of the transport units allows a transport of the containers in a type of circuit, i. the individual transport units are coordinated in such a way that at the same time the same number of containers is transported from one unit to a unit following in the direction of transport. This leads to a uniform load of the storage system.
- At least a plurality of the containers is connected by the transport system and at least the plurality of containers is at the same time movable together.
