Description

The present invention relates to a so-called shower toilet, so a toilet (water closet) with a shower device that can clean the abdomen of the toilet user in a shower operation.

In the prior art, such shower toilets have been known for some time. Generally, a distinction is made between two types, namely, on the one hand, so-called complete devices and, on the other hand, so-called attachment devices. In the latter genus sits a shower attachment on a toilet body, often called ceramic, and contains in a housing the shower device. The shower attachment is removable from the toilet body for maintenance or repair, for example. In many cases, the shower heads are retrofit devices, which can also be placed on originally not designed specifically for the shower function toilet body.

The shower attachment must be connected mechanically and line technology for this purpose. As a rule, a water connection and an electrical connection for the shower device in the shower attachment are necessary, which is not discussed in detail in this application. Furthermore, the shower attachment must be mounted on the toilet body. In this context, mounting plates are commonly used on a top surface of the toilet body z. B. are fixed with screws and to which a housing of the shower attachment is mounted. The top surface of the toilet body is provided from the user perspective "behind" the toilet bowl and thus usually between this and a mounting wall behind the shower toilet. The housing has in many cases on the underside a receptacle for the mounting plate, wherein the mounting plate is not visible in the assembled state of the shower attachment normally. The shower attachment is placed or pushed in the correct position on the mounting plate, whereupon a locking element is then closed to fix the shower attachment, or automatically snaps. In both cases, the locking element must to be disassembled, so z. B. pressed a button on the shower attachment housing or a lever are folded. Incidentally, the attachment is often carried out by moving the shower cap housing relative to the mounting plate with positive engagement rail-like elements.

Reference is made to the prior art on the DE 10 2012 025 222 A1 showing a shower toilet attachment according to the above explanations.

The present invention has for its object to provide a respect to the mechanical attachment of the shower attachment on the toilet body improved shower toilet.

This object is achieved by a shower toilet according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments are specified in the dependent claims and are explained in detail below in addition to the invention in its general form.

The inventor proposes according to claim 1, a resilient fixing of the engagement of undercut elements, wherein the corresponding spring element can be applied during assembly of the shower attachment and after making a first engagement between undercut elements by a movement of the shower attachment housing itself. As a result, the undercut elements already in engagement are, as it were, further moved into one another than is necessary for the attachment. After the engagement between the remaining undercut elements has been established, the spring element (or the operator assisted by the spring element) can then make a small return movement and thus produce a final assembly position in which all undercut elements are in engagement.

In this way, can be dispensed with a separate actuator for locking and suffices the shower attachment itself or its housing as an "actuator" for mounting. The prior art actuators, however, are in some form relative to the shower cap housing this attached or attached to the mounting plate (and thus relative to the mounting plate and the shower attachment housing movable) elements such as buttons or levers as mentioned above.

The assembly is thus particularly simple and practical, because it results from a specific sequence of movements of the essay itself. As a rule, the user or installer does not have to embrace this. Furthermore, impairments of the aesthetic design by conventional actuators and associated problems of sealing, cleaning, accessibility etc. are unnecessary.

In principle, the mentioned spring element can be provided separately from the undercut elements and also spatially separated therefrom. It only has to be ensured that after the production of the engagement between a part of the undercut elements, the spring element can be acted upon before the remaining undercut elements engage in order to provide its spring action for this latter intervention.

However, a direct spatial proximity between the spring element and the undercut elements is preferred, and an embodiment of at least one of the undercut elements as a spring element is particularly preferred. Accordingly, an elastically deformable or (even against a separate spring) elastically movable "spring element" at the same time serve as an undercut element, ie as a projection, behind which another undercut element can engage. In the embodiment, a spring described in more detail below is provided from a metal rod whose shape forms two such projections as undercut elements. If this spring element z. B. is attached to one side of the mounting plate, the associated side of the recording of the shower cap housing to matching projections (or a projection) can provide (or equivalent with reversed roles of mounting plate and housing). The spring element can be brought as far as undercut element engaged, thereby additionally deformed or moved, thus enabling the engagement of the undercut elements on the other side. When the spring element is then (partially) relaxed, this last-established engagement of the undercut elements on the other side is thereby secured.

As already mentioned, the undercut elements constitute a lock with regard to a movement or force application with which the shower attachment is lifted off the toilet seat body upwards. That he can not be lowered from the mounting position, of course, usually follows from the system of the underside of the housing against the top surface of the toilet bowl body and / or the installation of the mounting plate on the housing (in particular within the receptacle). In addition, the mounting plate and the associated receptacle in the housing can be adapted to one another so that they form a positive connection after locking the undercut elements, which produces a locking in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the direction of force of the spring element.

Then remains as translational degree of freedom only a movement in the direction of the force of the spring element and opposite. On the one hand, this results in a locking by the spring force itself (and possibly also by, for example, a catch or the like). In the other direction, on the contrary, it can come by a system of undercut elements and / or other parts of the mounting plate and the housing to a lock. Since the shower attachment should be removable, so at least one degree of freedom remains, namely a sliding movement against the force of the spring element (and possibly additionally against a catch). This may be considered disadvantageous and can be avoided in conventional systems with separate actuators and related interlocks; However, this circumstance is quite acceptable with a suitable design of the spring element. Experience has shown that it depends mainly on a possible backlash-free locking with respect. Rotary movements about vertical axes. Such- rotational movements can arise by a back and sideslip of a user on a toilet seat, in which case the vertical axis of rotation passes through the housing.

The above statements apply in particular for the preferred in the context of this invention, the choice of the direction of force of the spring element horizontally and perpendicular to a direction from the center of the toilet bowl, starting from the middle of the top surface, so in the usual installation of the toilet in front of a wall horizontally and parallel to this wall. In this transverse direction occur in the usual use of the toilet not too large forces. On the other hand, the invention allows, as mentioned above, by omitting the separate actuator a more aesthetic, easier to clean and simpler design and, above all, a simpler operation. In other words, the above-mentioned two sides of the mounting plate from the user's point of view are right and left and then acts the spring element from right to left or vice versa.

A preferred embodiment further provides a narrower in one or the center region of the mounting plate design than at the ends of the mounting plate. In this case, the inclusion in the shower cap housing in this regard, so be adapted in vertical projection.

In addition, it is preferred, in addition to and also independently of the above, that the mounting plate in one or the middle region is made shallower in terms of lower than on the two sides, which again applies to a shape adaptation of the recording, this time in horizontal projection.

The outer ends or the two sides of the mounting plate and the receptacle must, especially during rotary movements, absorb greater forces than the central region. Furthermore, it is preferably not made in the middle area, but on both sides outside of the attachment to the toilet seat, such as fastening bolts (eg., Bolt), which in terms of housing z. On the other hand, a space saving is advantageous in the middle area, z. At the same time, in the case of a narrower design in the middle region, the opening of the toilet bowl can come closer and thus also the shower arm can be lowered or driven down into it in a favorable manner. The attachment of the mounting plate can be done by the already mentioned fastening bolts, which preferably enforce a respective slot and ensure an adaptability of the mounting position of the mounting plate with different arrangement in this slot. In addition, if the slot is arranged in each case in a sliding plate which is displaceable relative to the longitudinal direction of the elongate hole relative to the mounting plate, there is a two-dimensional adaptability. This arrangement benefits from the aforementioned higher design of the mounting plates in the immediate vicinity, ie on both sides.

Preferably, the spring element is attached to the mounting plate (instead of the shower attachment housing). It is thus, if there is a need for an exchange, easier to access. A favorable embodiment of the spring element consists essentially of a rod of resilient metal with a main extension direction along one of the two sides of the mounting plate (which also applies if the spring element is arranged in the receptacle) and thus perpendicular to a connecting line between the two sides. The ends of the spring metal rod are bent in this preferred embodiment to the outside (with respect to the center of the mounting plate), wherein the following on the curved piece end should be free to move, but z. B. can be accommodated in a pocket of the mounting plate. In a central region between the two bent end pieces of the spring metal rod is fixed, clamped about, and can in this area z. B. just be designed straight, as the embodiment shows.

A favorable fixation clamps the middle piece of the spring metal rod, on the one hand, with at least two projections (ie locally) and, on the other hand, with an abutment (which does not have to be locally limited, cf. exemplary embodiment).

The invention relates not only to the previously described shower toilet but also a designed shower attachment, by its installation on a toilet body, the shower toilet can be created, and the corresponding use of the shower attachment for this purpose.

In Fig. 1 is a shower attachment 1 shown, in perspective from obliquely below. 1. A shower WC having
   a WC body (3) with a WC bowl and an upper area beside an upper opening of said WC bowl,
   a shower attachment (1) with a housing and a shower device therein,
   and with a mounting device for mounting said shower attachment (1) on said upper area of said WC body (3), said mounting device comprising:

   - a mounting plate (5) mountable on said upper area of said WC body (3),

   - a seating (4) for said mounting plate (5) at an underside of said housing of said shower attachment (1),

   characterized in that said mounting device comprises further:

   - at least respectively one undercut element (14, 17) at each of two opposite sides of said mounting plate (5),

   - at least respectively one undercut element (18) complementary thereto at each of two sides of said seating (4) of said housing, assigned to said opposite sides of said mounting plate (5),
   wherein said undercut elements (14, 17, 18) are adapted for engaging with each other such that said housing is locked with respect to said WC body (3) in a direction perpendicular to said upper area of said WC body (3),

   - at least one spring element (14) at said mounting plate (5) or said housing of said shower attachment (1) for pretensioning said housing against said mounting plate (5) in a direction from one of said two sides of said mounting plate (5) to the other one of said two sides,

   wherein said shower WC is adapted such that said housing can, after establishing the engagement between those undercut elements (14, 18) which are arranged on one of said two sides, be pushed against said spring element (14) into said engagement,
   and that the engagement between those undercut elements (17, 18) which are arranged on the other one of said two sides can be established then,
   wherein said spring element (14) pushes said housing into said engagement established lastly then and said housing is fixed on said upper area of said WC body (3), thus.
2. The shower WC according to claim 1, wherein said housing can be mounted at said WC body (3) and dismounted from said WC body (3) without actuating an actuating element moveable with respect to said housing.
3. The shower WC according to one of the two preceding claims, wherein said spring element (14) forms one of said undercut elements.
4. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said mounting plate (5) and said seating (4) form a form-fit after the fixing, which locks said housing with respect to said WC body (3) in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the force direction of said spring element (14).
5. The shower WC according to claim 4, wherein said mounting plate (5) and said seating (4) form said form-fit or a further form-fit after said fixing, which locks said housing with respect to said WC body (3) apart form a movement against the spring force of said spring element (14).
6. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said two sides of said mounting plate (5) lie on the right and on the left with respect to a direction from the centre of said WC bowl through the centre of said upper area of said WC body (3).
7. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said mounting plate (5) is wider at said two sides than in a centre region of said mounting plate (5) in-between, said seating (4) being adapted in its shape in this respect (5).
8. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said mounting plate is higher at said two sides than in a centre region of said mounting plate (5) in between, said seating (4) being adapted in its shape in this respect (5).
9. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said mounting plate (5) is mountable on said WC body (3) by fixing bolts which intersect a respective elongated hole (6) in a respective displacement plate (9) displaceable perpendicularly to the length extension of said elongated hole (6) with respect to said mounting plate (5).
10. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said spring element (14) is attached to said mounting plate (5).
11. The shower WC according to one of the preceding claims, wherein said mounting element (14) consists of a spring metal rod having its main extension direction along one of said two sides of said mounting plate (5) and perpendicular to a connection line between said two sides of said mounting plate (5), wherein said spring element (14) is bent at the two ends of the spring metal rod outwards with respect to the direction of said connection line between said two sides of said mounting plate, a subsequent end of said spring metal rod as well as the bent part being movable freely and said spring metal rod being fixed in a centre region between the two bent parts.
12. The shower WC according to claim 11, wherein said fixed centre region of said spring metal rod (14) is clipped to said mounting plate (5) or said housing.
13. The shower WC according to claim 12, wherein said fixed centre region is, on the one hand, held by a respective projection (15) at at least two locations distant to each other and to said bent ends and is, on the other hand, clipped by a counter bearing (16) against it.
14. Shower attachment (1) for mounting on a WC body (3) with a WC bowl and an upper area beside an upper opening of said WC bowl, for establishing a shower WC by said mounting on said WC body (3),
    said shower attachment comprising a housing and a shower device therein and a mounting device for mounting said shower attachment (1) on said upper area of said WC body (3), said mounting device comprising:

    - a mounting plate (5) mountable on said upper area of said WC body (3),

    - a seating (4) for said mounting plate (5) at an underside of said housing of said shower attachment (1),

    characterized in that said mounting device comprises further:

    - at least respectively one undercut element (14, 17) at each of two opposite sides of said mounting plate (5),

    - at least respectively one undercut element (18) complementary thereto at each of two sides of said seating (4) of said housing, assigned to said opposite sides of said mounting plate (5),
    wherein said undercut elements (14, 17, 18) are adapted for engaging with each other such that said housing is locked with respect to said WC body (3) in a direction perpendicular to said upper area of said WC body (3),

    - at least one spring element (14) at said mounting plate (5) or said housing of said shower attachment (1) for pretensioning said housing against said mounting plate (5) in a direction from one of said two sides of said mounting plate (5) to the other one of said two sides,

    wherein said shower WC is adapted such that said housing can, after establishing the engagement between those undercut elements (14, 18) which are arranged on one of said two sides, be pushed against said spring element (14) into said engagement,
    and that the engagement between those undercut elements (17, 18) which are arranged on the other one of said two sides can be established then,
    wherein said spring element (14) pushes said housing into said engagement established lastly and said housing is fixed on said upper area of said WC body (3), thus.
15. Use of a shower attachment (1) according to claim 14 for mounting on a WC body (3) for establishing a shower WC, wherein said housing of said shower attachment (1) is placed with a side on said upper area of said WC body (3), is brought into an engagement of undercut elements (14, 18) by a lateral displacement against said spring element (14), is lowered onto said upper area of said WC body (3) with the opposite side and is finally moved back by said spring element (14) for an engagement of the remaining undercut elements (17, 18).
