Definitions
- the invention relates to a shower toilet comprising a toilet body with a flushing water connection for supplying flushing water, a flushing space defined by this toilet body with a lower end and an upper end delimited by a toilet opening, which can usually be closed by a toilet lid, one Usually a drainage connection comprising an odor block, normally designed as a toilet siphon, for removing dirty water from the washroom as part of a washing process, and an intimate cleansing device fed via a drinking water line for carrying out an intimate cleansing for a user.
- a shower toilet still requires a safety device to protect the drinking water network against the entry of contaminated dirty water in accordance with DIN EN 1717, which is often simply referred to as "backflow protection".
- Such shower toilets are common in Asia and are now also being used in Europe.
- Such a shower toilet combines the functions of a regular toilet and a bidet in a sanitary facility or a sanitary unit, which creates new design options in the bathroom.
- DIN EN 1717 To secure the drinking water line, which on the one hand supplies the cistern with rinsing water for rinsing, and on the other hand also supplies the rinsing lance with drinking water, DIN EN 1717 must be taken into account at least for products used in Europe. This standard requires measures within a sanitary device which prevent contaminated water from being sucked back into a drinking water pipe, for example water contaminated with faeces from the flushing area of the toilet body. To this end, DIN EN 1717 provides various measures, such as a free outlet, a pipe interrupter. A drinking water withdrawal point must generally be designed in such a way that the drinking water system cannot be contaminated.
- the height of the toilet opening defines the overflow edge for the dirty water in the event of an accident, i.e. the highest possible dirty water level in the toilet body. Since, according to DIN EN 1717, a minimum distance of 2 cm is required between this highest possible dirty water level in the event of an accident and a water outlet opening fed by drinking water, the best safety devices are always arranged at least 2 cm above the toilet opening. This is done either in a - relatively unsightly - box or structure between the toilet and the wall or pretext behind the toilet or in the pretext behind the toilet, such as in the DE 100 05 254 described. The installation effort on the construction site is considerable with such a solution.
- a non-return valve which prevents the return of dirty water and which is suitable for use in a shower toilet.
- a shower toilet with such a non-return valve, in which leakage water is directed from the non-return valve into the toilet body from above, so that in this shower toilet the opening for receiving the leakage water is above level defined by the toilet opening.
- a shower toilet with a shower device and a non-return valve is disclosed, the shower device with the non-return valve being placed on a toilet body and a drain being provided through which leakage water from the shower device can flow into the toilet body, this process forming an opening for receiving leakage water, which lies above the plane defined by the toilet opening.
- a shower toilet is disclosed, in which the shower device is integrated in a toilet seat, a device for preventing the sucking back of dirty water into the drinking water line is provided.
- EP 1 234 921 A1 discloses a shower toilet in which a vacuum interrupter is provided to prevent dirty water from being sucked back into the drinking water line.
- the object of the invention is to at least partially avoid these disadvantages and, in particular, to provide a compact shower toilet that meets the requirements of DIN EN 1717.
- the safety device which comprises a device comprising an injector with a nozzle for the emergence of drinking water from the drinking water line and a distance of approximately 2 cm from the nozzle of the injector
- Has a collecting funnel which is connected to the intimate cleaning device for feeding the intimate cleaning device with drinking water
- the emergency opening is arranged in the toilet body below an upper edge of the toilet opening, the emergency opening being horizontal Level and thus extends downwards from a level defined by the toilet opening and is arranged at least 2 cm below the nozzle of the injector and has a receiving cross-section for collecting leakage water emerging from the device, whereby to prevent the escape of odors from the downstream to drain waste water provided drain connection, the emergency line is connected to the drain connection via a secondary odor barrier included in the safety device and assigned to the emergency opening.
- the invention thus provides a particularly compact and simple solution in the form of an emergency opening with connection to the atmosphere, which lowers the highest possible level of dirty water in such a way that sucking back into the drinking water line is excluded under all circumstances. Because it is is a "lowered" emergency opening compared to the toilet opening, it can be easily integrated into any regular toilet ceramic or every regular toilet, also for retrofitting, so that no additional attachment, modification or the like is required for additional equipment . For example, the emergency opening can be hidden in the toilet behind the flushing rim. If the dirty water in the wash cabinet rises due to a blockage or otherwise, this dirty water can run off into the surrounding room via the lowered emergency opening, so that an increase in the area of the drinking water supply is reliably ruled out.
- the emergency opening extends in a plane essentially parallel to the horizontal, that is to say offset from the plane defined by the toilet opening.
- the emergency opening is arranged at least 2 cm below the drinking water outlet, i.e. H. below the injector nozzle.
- the safety device comprising the emergency opening is arranged behind the primary odor barrier of the toilet body, which is preferably designed as a siphon, ie in the toilet body between the toilet opening and the wall, that is to say at the rear end of the toilet in the installed position.
- the emergency opening can additionally also function as a leakage water collecting device which collects leakage water that inevitably escapes from such devices.
- the emergency opening is arranged funnel-shaped under the drinking water outlet opening educated.
- a connecting element for supplying leakage or dirty water from other areas of the toilet to the emergency opening can be provided, e.g. in order to allow any leakage water that may emerge from the flushing lance or in some other form to drain, so that it does not drain into the flushing area of the toilet, but via the connecting element into the drain connection.
- This can be done, for example, by means of a leakage line, which feeds dirty or leakage water to the safety device from any location in the toilet without influencing the design of the toilet.
- this leakage line can be designed as a hose or integrated in the toilet bowl or as a combination thereof.
- this leakage line can also be designed as an emergency line, that is to supply water from an overflow or an emergency opening arranged separately from the safety device in the washing area of the safety device, and also completely independently of the design of the toilet.
- the proposed emergency opening can be designed differently to implement the function according to the invention, e.g. as a simple opening in a leakage line which extends from the intimate cleaning device to the safety device, or also as a plane defining a receiving cross-section for collecting leakage water from a device which includes the safety device to meet the standard DIN EN 1717, e.g. an injector to collect this leakage water, which is then preferably expanded, that is to say funnel-shaped.
- the safety device comprises a - secondary - odor barrier assigned to the emergency opening, which prevents odors from escaping from the downstream outlet connection.
- the preferred design of the odor barrier is designed as a siphon, which is particularly preferred is arranged downstream of the primary or toilet siphon in the outlet of the toilet and is referred to according to the invention as a "secondary siphon".
- the emergency opening is formed by a funnel, which can supply leakage water to a siphon, which is designed as a ring siphon which either clings to the outside of the drain or is integrated in or on this.
- this embodiment is preferably used in particularly cramped building codes, such as those occurring in the rear end of a toilet, preferably a shower toilet, in which the funnel not only functions as an emergency opening, but at the same time also collects leakage water from the flushing lance or shower lance.
- a particularly simple installation of the emergency device in various toilets, in particular shower toilets can be achieved by designing the funnel as an offset funnel, which, in addition to the actual funnel, includes a supply line for supplying the leakage water collected by the funnel to the drain connection.
- This displacement funnel is geometrically optimized to the respective installation situation, so that only differently adapted displacement funnels have to be used for different toilets, which reduces the number of variants and the storage costs.
- This offset funnel preferably realizes a gradient from the funnel to the drain connection, which can be done, for example, by means of a transverse trough in the installed position, the longitudinal axis of which extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drain connection.
- fastening means for releasable fastening are preferably provided between the offset funnel and the drain connection, e.g. in the form of locking means, particularly preferably in the form of detachable locking tabs. These fastening means preferably also realize a sealing connection between the components.
- the invention thus enables completely new design concepts of the toilet, because the controls for intimate cleaning are no longer ergonomically unfavorable behind the back of the user and relatively high on the toilet, as in the prior art, or have to be carried out with elaborate electronic remote controls
- a leakage line for returning the leakage water into the area of the drain connection behind the toilet siphon, the controls for the shower toilet can now be ergonomically optimized to the front, that is, away from the wall on the toilet body and further down become. This measure makes it possible, for the first time, to implement any, and in this respect also ergonomically optimized, arrangement of the control elements on the toilet.
- the intimate flushing can preferably be effected by a lever, preferably by an actuating device integrated in the toilet, in particular a sanitary cartridge integrated laterally in the toilet for switching on / off and / or mixing water with an operating lever, which can also comprise several operating elements. e.g. one for setting the water temperature of the water for the flushing lance with the help of a thermostatic cartridge, e.g. arranged on a first side of the toilet, and another for volume control and for switching the shower function on or off, e.g. arranged on the opposite side of the toilet.
- a lever preferably by an actuating device integrated in the toilet, in particular a sanitary cartridge integrated laterally in the toilet for switching on / off and / or mixing water with an operating lever, which can also comprise several operating elements. e.g. one for setting the water temperature of the water for the flushing lance with the help of a thermostatic cartridge, e.g. arranged on a first side of the toilet, and another for volume control and for switching the
- the flushing lance is preferably driven hydraulically, the inflowing rinsing water pressing a longitudinally displaceable lance within a lance housing against a compression spring into the extended position and this compression spring moving the lance back into the retracted rest position after the water pressure has decreased.
- the shower toilet according to the invention is preferably designed as a wall-hung toilet which is fastened to a wall with a rear side, this wall being able to be designed as a regular wall or as a pretext or lightweight wall constructed from a profile frame. Additional units for operating the shower toilet can be arranged in the wall, for example an odor extraction or an optional instantaneous water heater if there is no separate hot water pipe.
- the shower toilet comprises a cold water and a separate hot water line, which are connected to a thermal cartridge and can be mixed in this in an adjustable manner for the operation of the flushing lance.
- the quantity is regulated on this preferably by means of a rotary valve.
- the outlet line from the injector is connected to the flushing lance and the emergency opening is located at a distance of more than 2 cm below the nozzle of the safety device and thus collects any leakage water that may escape and directs it into the drain connection behind the toilet or primary siphon.
- a simplified embodiment of the shower toilet can be designed without the thermal cartridge.
- this embodiment which is preferably used in warmer regions, only cold water is used to operate the flushing lance.
- the leakage water possibly escaping from DIN EN 1717 protection is fed to the emergency opening and the downstream or second or secondary odor trap into the sewage pipe.
- the intimate cleaning device preferably comprises a flushing lance arranged in a relatively movable manner in a lance housing, which is preferably relatively movable by means of water pressure from a retracted position within the lance housing into an extended position located in the interior of the washing area and comprises at least one water outlet opening for the intimate cleaning of the user, which is preferably arranged at the front end of the flushing lance is.
- the intimate cleansing device can also e.g. be designed as a simple nozzle at the rear end of the flushing rim on the toilet.
- the proposed shower toilet is essentially formed by a toilet body 2 made of ceramic, in the back of which a flushing water connection 4 designed as a flushing water connection 4a is inserted in a sealing manner for supplying flushing water from a one arranged in a behind the wall and with the flushing water connection 4a Cistern not shown connected cistern, which is preferably installed as a concealed cistern in the wall.
- the rinse water flows into the rinse water connector 4a washroom 2a defined by the toilet body 2 and out of it through a toilet or primary siphon 2b formed in the lower end of the toilet body 2 through the waste water connection 6 designed as a drainage connection 6a into a drain pipe.
- the primary siphon 2b thus prevents, in a known manner, the outflow of odors from the sewage pipe into the toilet body 2 or the shower toilet by the water contained in the lower curve after the flushing.
- the rinse water connector 4a and the drain connector 6a are both essentially designed as hollow cylindrical injection molded parts, the front ends of which - as seen in the installed position - can be detached and sealed on the back in correspondingly shaped receptacles on the back of the toilet body 2 by means of an annular sealing sleeve 22, 24 can be used.
- the flushing lance is supplied with drinking water via a cold water connection designed as a corner valve 8.
- a hot water connection can also be provided to supply the flushing lance with hot water.
- the connecting element Downstream of the primary siphon 2b, the connecting element according to the invention is arranged between the top of the drain connector 6a and the flushing water connector 4a, which is integrated in the drain connector 6a in the present preferred embodiment.
- the connecting element comprises a receptacle 6j which is integrally formed on the upper side of the drain connector 6a and in the present case has a rectangular cross section.
- An insert element 6b which corresponds to the geometry of the receiving nozzle 6j is inserted into this receiving nozzle 6j and can be inserted into the receiving nozzle 6j until a web 6c projecting radially outwards approximately in the middle of the insert element 6b comes to rest on the upper side of the receiving nozzle 6j .
- the insert element 6b has one on its upper side Connection stub 6d, on which a connecting pipe can be plugged, which is connected at its other end to the underside of the flushing water stub 4a via a hose nipple.
- a secondary siphon is formed between these components by corresponding mutually overlapping inner walls in order to prevent undesirable odors from escaping from the outlet socket 6a.
- an emergency opening 6e is provided at the upper end of the insert element 6b, which is shielded from the inside by a vertical web 6f and via which water flows through the primary siphon 2b and the outlet nozzle 6a blockage should occur in the surrounding space.
- the DIN-EN 1717 is fulfilled with surprisingly simple means, that is, the sucking back of contaminated water into the water pipe is prevented.
- the connecting element between the rinsing water connection 4 and the drain connection 6 with the emergency opening is at least partially integrally formed on the drain stub 6a by molding.
- this is not absolutely necessary for the implementation of the invention; rather, a connection in the form of a hose with a corresponding emergency opening between the flushing water connection and the drain connection can also be provided.
- Rinsing water connection 4 shown in perspective with a rinse lance preferably integrated in one piece.
- This consists of an essentially hollow cylindrical flushing water connector 4a with a front end that can be inserted into the rear of the toilet body 2 and a one that can be connected to a flushing pipe Rear end.
- the rinsing water flows out of the rinsing water tank during rinsing through several rinsing openings 4b directed downwards and to the side into the rinsing chamber 2a of the toilet body 2.
- the inflowing rinsing water is thus distributed in a wreath-like or fan-shaped manner for realizing a full-surface flushing as far as possible, starting from the rear and along the side surfaces of the flushing chamber 2a of the toilet body 2.
- the flushing behavior can be adapted as required.
- the jet behavior of these rinsing water openings can also be adjustable and / or closable.
- a cylindrical lance housing 4c of the flushing lance for the longitudinally displaceable reception of a lance slide 4e is formed integrally on the top of the rinsing water nozzle 4a and integrally formed therewith as a one-piece injection molded part, extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the rinsing water nozzle 4a.
- the longitudinal axis of the lance housing 4c or the lance slide 4e encloses an angle between 3 to 35 degrees, preferably 10 ° degrees, with the longitudinal axis of the rinsing water nozzle 4a.
- the flushing lance can be adapted to the particular circumstances of the toilet body 2, if the latter has different geometrical configurations or if the flushing lance is to be penetrated to different depths into the washing compartment 2a.
- the lance housing comprises adjusting means for adjusting the inclination of the lance housing 4c in relation to the longitudinal axis of the rinsing water nozzle 4, for example by means of a knurled screw.
- the lance housing 4c has at its rear end in the installed position a connecting piece 4d for a separate fresh or drinking water line.
- the end position of the lance can also be designed to be adjustable, in order to change the position of the shower jet by changing the penetration depth of the lance in the extended position.
- this is done by means of an adjustable stop with the aid of a Bowden cable, which is attached to an operating element and is adjustable via this.
- the water pressure of the inflowing rinsing water drives the lance slide valve 4e, which is arranged to be longitudinally displaceable in the lance housing 4c, due to an annular flange integrally formed on the inner wall against one between the lance slide valve 4e and the front of the lance housing 4c acting compression spring 4f initially only to the front, so that the lance slider 4e exits through an opening in a union nut 4g into the washing area 2a of the toilet.
- the flushing water for performing the intimate irrigation emerges from front-side outlet openings in the lance slider 4e the flushing lance to perform the intimate flushing.
- the lance slide 4e is therefore initially extended by approximately half before intimate flushing begins.
- an upwardly projecting shoulder 2c is provided, into which the rear end of the lance housing 4c and the connecting piece 4d protrude in order to enable these elements to be attached easily.
- the amount of paragraph 2c is not higher than that Height of the attached toilet lid when closed and fits harmoniously into the overall picture of the toilet.
- the heel is also easy to clean, as it is integrated in one piece in the ceramic.
- due to the low construction volume required it is also fundamentally possible to implement the invention in the toilet body 2 without such a step 2c.
- FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of a drain connector 6a with an alternative emergency device according to the invention.
- This also comprises a receptacle 6j, which is rectangular in cross section, but in which an insert element designed as a funnel element 6g is placed.
- This funnel element 6a is formed at its lower section corresponding to the cross-section of the receptacle 6j and widens from there conically upwards to form a funnel of rectangular cross-section, which in the middle comprises a bridge bracket 6h which bridges the entrance of the funnel in an arc, on the upper side thereof a connection nipple 6i is provided for a drain hose, not shown.
- the drain hose can be connected to this connection nipple 6i, which is connected at its other end to discharge leak water with the injector to form the DIN 1717 protection.
- This connection can be of any design and also in a very confined installation space within the toilet can be run over longer distances, e.g. using a connecting hose, as long as there is a sufficient gradient.
- the odor trap is designed as a siphon or secondary siphon.
- the funnel can also be designed in such a way that it ends directly below the injector and leakage water can thus be drained off directly, ie without an additional hose.
- FIG 7 shows a rear view of a shower toilet, which comprises a cold water pipe 10 and a separate hot water pipe 12, which are connected from separate corner valves to a controllable thermostat 14.
- the mixed water from this thermostat 14 is fed via a mixed water line to a rotary cartridge 16 which is arranged on the side of the toilet body 2 opposite the thermostat 14.
- This rotary cartridge 16 comprises a rotary controller 16a arranged on the outside of the toilet body 2, which regulates the drinking water outlet from a nozzle of an injector which forms the DIN EN 1717 safeguard behind the rotary cartridge 16.
- a collecting funnel 16c is provided in the injector opposite the nozzle 16b and is connected to the connecting piece 4d of the lance housing 4c.
- the funnel-shaped emergency opening 18a of an emergency line 18 is arranged, which is connected to the outlet connection 6 via an intermediate siphon 20.
- the third embodiment of the emergency device according to the invention is designed to be space-optimized for installation in particularly cramped building codes in the rear end of the toilet.
- the siphon is designed as a ring siphon 6k, which annularly surrounds the outer circumferential surface of the drain connector 6a and thus does not require any additional height.
- the ring siphon 6k opens into the receiving connector 6p and at the lower outlet end into a radial opening 6l at the upper end of the outlet connector 6a in the installed position.
- an offset funnel 6m is sealingly inserted into the receiving nozzle 6o, which feeds leakage water collected to the ring siphon 6k laterally offset from the longitudinal axis of the drain nozzle 6a.
- This displacement funnel 6m comprises a transverse channel 6n which is designed with a slight slope and which is channel-like and extends in the installed position transversely to the longitudinal direction of the outlet nozzle 6a. At its lower end, this transverse channel 6n is designed for connection to the drainage connector 6a and at its upper end - on the right-hand side in the figures - with a laterally widened funnel 6o for collecting leakage water.
- the funnel 6o is in the installed position below the flushing lance or shower lance, so it collects any leakage water that may escape and directs it to the drain connection 6 via the ring siphon 6k.
- the offset funnel 6m is provided with an insert at a lower end for sealing use in the receptacle 6p, so it is releasably attachable to the receptacle and comprises latching tabs on both ends at the ends for releasable position fixation in installation position.
- This releasable connection between the offset funnel 6m and the drain connector 6a enables simple adaptation to different toilet bodies or ceramics by using different offset funnels 6m.
- the invention thus provides a shower toilet that can only be operated over water, that is to say without current, the shower functionality being able to be integrated into a normal toilet ceramic due to the compact design. This is the first time that a particularly compact and inexpensive shower toilet without a technical box or unit has been provided behind the toilet body in compliance with the provisions of DIN EN 1717.

The invention relates to a shower toilet comprising a toilet body with a flushing water connection for supplying flushing water, a flushing space defined by this toilet body with a lower end and an upper end delimited by a toilet opening, which can usually be closed by a toilet lid, one Usually a drainage connection comprising an odor block, normally designed as a toilet siphon, for removing dirty water from the washroom as part of a washing process, and an intimate cleansing device fed via a drinking water line for carrying out an intimate cleansing for a user. Finally, such a shower toilet still requires a safety device to protect the drinking water network against the entry of contaminated dirty water in accordance with DIN EN 1717, which is often simply referred to as "backflow protection".
Such shower toilets are common in Asia and are now also being used in Europe. Such a shower toilet combines the functions of a regular toilet and a bidet in a sanitary facility or a sanitary unit, which creates new design options in the bathroom. For the purpose of intimate cleaning, which can thus be carried out by placing it on the toilet body, only an actuation unit has to be actuated, so that the flushing water line, which usually carries drinking water, supplies the flushing lance with water.
So far, there have been various concepts for integrating a flushing lance into a toilet or toilet body, but these are regularly relatively complex and require an addition or attachment to the toilet body or in the wall or pretext behind the toilet body. Furthermore, these products are relatively expensive. What is desirable is a simple and inexpensive solution, which thus also helps this technology to achieve a market breakthrough in Europe, which in particular has a compact structure. The market increasingly demands that the bidet and the toilet body are coordinated in terms of design, which means in particular that the toilet cannot / should not be significantly longer than the bidet. If possible, a device should be provided which is integrated into a normal toilet body and which can be offered on the market at an affordable price.
To secure the drinking water line, which on the one hand supplies the cistern with rinsing water for rinsing, and on the other hand also supplies the rinsing lance with drinking water, DIN EN 1717 must be taken into account at least for products used in Europe. This also applies if there is a negative pressure in the drinking water line or if the dirty water in the sanitary object increases (protection against back suction or back pressure of non-drinking water). Since the toilet is directly connected to the sewage system, the strictest rules apply. A contamination of the drinking water system must also in the event of an accident always be excluded. Simple mechanical non-return valves or non-return valves are therefore not permitted. The system separation between drinking water and non-drinking water must always be done via a free outlet. There must always be a safety distance of at least 20 mm between this free outlet and the highest possible water level in the sanitary object. This distance also applies if the drain is clogged and water flowing in at the same time or if wastewater from the sewage pipe is pushed back. The highest possible water level in a toilet is the toilet opening, which can normally be closed by a toilet lid with a toilet seat. In summary, DIN EN 1717 therefore requires technical measures to prevent the sucking back of dirty water into the drinking water line in the event of a pressure drop, which is summarized under the keyword "back suction safety".
In other countries, different technologies are used to solve the problems outlined above, although DINEN 1717 does not have to be taken into account in Asia. In the United States, vacuum breakers are preferably used, which are often in an attachment on the ceramic top "technology unit in the Lid "are integrated. The relatively high bearing locations of the toilet lid associated with these solutions require toilets of longer design, which is not always desirable.
Based on this prior art, the object of the invention is to at least partially avoid these disadvantages and, in particular, to provide a compact shower toilet that meets the requirements of DIN EN 1717.
According to the invention, this object is already achieved in a shower toilet of the type mentioned at the outset in that the safety device, which comprises a device comprising an injector with a nozzle for the emergence of drinking water from the drinking water line and a distance of approximately 2 cm from the nozzle of the injector Has a collecting funnel, which is connected to the intimate cleaning device for feeding the intimate cleaning device with drinking water, comprises an emergency opening of an emergency line, which is arranged in the toilet body below an upper edge of the toilet opening, the emergency opening being horizontal Level and thus extends downwards from a level defined by the toilet opening and is arranged at least 2 cm below the nozzle of the injector and has a receiving cross-section for collecting leakage water emerging from the device, whereby to prevent the escape of odors from the downstream to drain waste water provided drain connection, the emergency line is connected to the drain connection via a secondary odor barrier included in the safety device and assigned to the emergency opening.
The invention thus provides a particularly compact and simple solution in the form of an emergency opening with connection to the atmosphere, which lowers the highest possible level of dirty water in such a way that sucking back into the drinking water line is excluded under all circumstances.
Thus, the emergency opening extends in a plane essentially parallel to the horizontal, that is to say offset from the plane defined by the toilet opening.
To meet the requirements of DIN EN 1717, the emergency opening is arranged at least 2 cm below the drinking water outlet, i.e. H. below the injector nozzle.
In a preferred embodiment, the safety device comprising the emergency opening is arranged behind the primary odor barrier of the toilet body, which is preferably designed as a siphon, ie in the toilet body between the toilet opening and the wall, that is to say at the rear end of the toilet in the installed position.
Positioned below the drinking water outlet opening secured in accordance with DIN EN 1717, the emergency opening can additionally also function as a leakage water collecting device which collects leakage water that inevitably escapes from such devices. For this purpose, the emergency opening is arranged funnel-shaped under the drinking water outlet opening educated.
According to the invention, a connecting element for supplying leakage or dirty water from other areas of the toilet to the emergency opening can be provided, e.g. in order to allow any leakage water that may emerge from the flushing lance or in some other form to drain, so that it does not drain into the flushing area of the toilet, but via the connecting element into the drain connection. This can be done, for example, by means of a leakage line, which feeds dirty or leakage water to the safety device from any location in the toilet without influencing the design of the toilet. For example, this leakage line can be designed as a hose or integrated in the toilet bowl or as a combination thereof. However, this leakage line can also be designed as an emergency line, that is to supply water from an overflow or an emergency opening arranged separately from the safety device in the washing area of the safety device, and also completely independently of the design of the toilet.
The proposed emergency opening can be designed differently to implement the function according to the invention, e.g. as a simple opening in a leakage line which extends from the intimate cleaning device to the safety device, or also as a plane defining a receiving cross-section for collecting leakage water from a device which includes the safety device to meet the standard DIN EN 1717, e.g. an injector to collect this leakage water, which is then preferably expanded, that is to say funnel-shaped.
The safety device comprises a - secondary - odor barrier assigned to the emergency opening, which prevents odors from escaping from the downstream outlet connection. The preferred design of the odor barrier is designed as a siphon, which is particularly preferred is arranged downstream of the primary or toilet siphon in the outlet of the toilet and is referred to according to the invention as a "secondary siphon".
Existing shower toilet safety devices have so far been drained off, i.e. upstream from the toilet or primary siphon, in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN 1717 at a distance of at least 20 mm above the top edge of the wash cabinet between the highest possible water level in the event of an accident and the Drinking water supply. Consequently, the solutions from the prior art require structures at the height of the toilet above the toilet rim, which make them appear very solid. Most of these are made of plastic. The corners and edges that form between such plastic cladding and the ceramic body are difficult to clean. Usually, these transitions lead to dirt deposits over time and thus to hygienic problems. In contrast to this, the invention goes a completely new way by arranging the safety device either behind the primary or toilet siphon or at another location in the toilet, the dirty or leakage water then being supplied from the emergency opening to the safety device.
In an embodiment optimized for installation space, the emergency opening is formed by a funnel, which can supply leakage water to a siphon, which is designed as a ring siphon which either clings to the outside of the drain or is integrated in or on this. In this respect, this embodiment is preferably used in particularly cramped building codes, such as those occurring in the rear end of a toilet, preferably a shower toilet, in which the funnel not only functions as an emergency opening, but at the same time also collects leakage water from the flushing lance or shower lance.
A particularly simple installation of the emergency device in various toilets, in particular shower toilets, can be achieved by designing the funnel as an offset funnel, which, in addition to the actual funnel, includes a supply line for supplying the leakage water collected by the funnel to the drain connection. This displacement funnel is geometrically optimized to the respective installation situation, so that only differently adapted displacement funnels have to be used for different toilets, which reduces the number of variants and the storage costs.
This offset funnel preferably realizes a gradient from the funnel to the drain connection, which can be done, for example, by means of a transverse trough in the installed position, the longitudinal axis of which extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drain connection.
To simplify assembly and maintenance, fastening means for releasable fastening are preferably provided between the offset funnel and the drain connection, e.g. in the form of locking means, particularly preferably in the form of detachable locking tabs. These fastening means preferably also realize a sealing connection between the components.
The invention thus enables completely new design concepts of the toilet, because the controls for intimate cleaning are no longer ergonomically unfavorable behind the back of the user and relatively high on the toilet, as in the prior art, or have to be carried out with elaborate electronic remote controls A leakage line for returning the leakage water into the area of the drain connection behind the toilet siphon, the controls for the shower toilet can now be ergonomically optimized to the front, that is, away from the wall on the toilet body and further down become. This measure makes it possible, for the first time, to implement any, and in this respect also ergonomically optimized, arrangement of the control elements on the toilet.
The intimate flushing can preferably be effected by a lever, preferably by an actuating device integrated in the toilet, in particular a sanitary cartridge integrated laterally in the toilet for switching on / off and / or mixing water with an operating lever, which can also comprise several operating elements. e.g. one for setting the water temperature of the water for the flushing lance with the help of a thermostatic cartridge, e.g. arranged on a first side of the toilet, and another for volume control and for switching the shower function on or off, e.g. arranged on the opposite side of the toilet. The need for an additional technology box behind or to the side of the regular toilet is completely eliminated.
The flushing lance is preferably driven hydraulically, the inflowing rinsing water pressing a longitudinally displaceable lance within a lance housing against a compression spring into the extended position and this compression spring moving the lance back into the retracted rest position after the water pressure has decreased.
In order to make it easy to assemble and disassemble the flushing lance in the toilet, it is preferably designed to be installed on the inside of the toilet, and is therefore possible without removing the toilet from the wall. This is preferably done by means of a union nut which closes the lance housing on the front and comprises a through opening for the actual slide of the washing lance.
Leakage water from the flushing lance can thus also drain off via the connecting element, and the emergency opening enables water to emerge at any time in the event of a Blockage at a sufficient distance below the outlet opening of the drinking water in order to meet the requirements of DIN EN 1717 by leaking into the room. The shower toilet according to the invention is preferably designed as a wall-hung toilet which is fastened to a wall with a rear side, this wall being able to be designed as a regular wall or as a pretext or lightweight wall constructed from a profile frame. Additional units for operating the shower toilet can be arranged in the wall, for example an odor extraction or an optional instantaneous water heater if there is no separate hot water pipe.
Different designs of the toilet can thus be implemented, adapted to the respective installation situation, so that the invention offers the possibility of building a modular concept with which different markets can be operated with different embodiments and can be easily adapted.
In the preferred embodiment, the shower toilet comprises a cold water and a separate hot water line, which are connected to a thermal cartridge and can be mixed in this in an adjustable manner for the operation of the flushing lance. The rinsing water mixed in this way (= tap or drinking water) then passes through an injector which forms the DIN-EN 1717 protection. The quantity is regulated on this preferably by means of a rotary valve. The outlet line from the injector is connected to the flushing lance and the emergency opening is located at a distance of more than 2 cm below the nozzle of the safety device and thus collects any leakage water that may escape and directs it into the drain connection behind the toilet or primary siphon.
A simplified embodiment of the shower toilet can be designed without the thermal cartridge. In this embodiment, which is preferably used in warmer regions, only cold water is used to operate the flushing lance.
However, even with this simplified version, the leakage water possibly escaping from DIN EN 1717 protection is fed to the emergency opening and the downstream or second or secondary odor trap into the sewage pipe.
- die Bedienungselemente können erstmalig ergonomisch optimiert unterhalb der Keramikoberfläche positioniert werden;
- aus der Absicherung evtl. austretendes Leckwasser läuft nicht sichtbar in die Keramikschüssel; es können insofern keine "Einlaufspuren" entstehen;
- die DIN-EN 1717 Absicherung kann in einem Armaturengehäuse untergebracht werden, so dass dieses auch nach der Montage der WC-Keramik an der Wand von außen zugänglich (z.B. zur Reinigung oder Wartung) ist, ohne dass die WC-Keramik demontiert werden muss;
- der Montageablauf des Installateurs unterscheidet sich nicht von der Montage einer herkömmlichen Toilette, so dass keine Schulung erforderlich ist;
- for the first time, the controls can be positioned ergonomically below the ceramic surface;
- Any leakage water escaping from the protection does not run visibly into the ceramic bowl; In this respect, no "entry marks" can arise;
- DIN-EN 1717 protection can be housed in a fitting housing so that it can be accessed from the outside (eg for cleaning or maintenance) even after the toilet ceramics have been installed on the wall, without having to dismantle the toilet ceramics;
- the installation process of the installer is no different from the installation of a conventional toilet, so that no training is required;

The proposed shower toilet is essentially formed by a
The rinse
The flushing lance is supplied with drinking water via a cold water connection designed as a
Downstream of the primary siphon 2b, the connecting element according to the invention is arranged between the top of the
In the present preferred embodiment, the connecting element between the rinsing
Trinkwasserleitung auf.A
In a further development, the end position of the lance can also be designed to be adjustable, in order to change the position of the shower jet by changing the penetration depth of the lance in the extended position. In a preferred solution, this is done by means of an adjustable stop with the aid of a Bowden cable, which is attached to an operating element and is adjustable via this.
If rinse water is used to perform an intimate wash, e.g. Controlled by a cartridge, which flows into the
At the upper rear end of the
For the assembly, disassembly and / or maintenance of the flushing lance, only the
Various blockages (breakdowns) can occur within a toilet, which could lead to undesired sucking back into the drinking water line and all of which are effectively avoided by the invention.

To collect and feed the leakage water of the flushing lance, an offset
In the present embodiment, the offset
The invention thus provides a shower toilet that can only be operated over water, that is to say without current, the shower functionality being able to be integrated into a normal toilet ceramic due to the compact design. This is the first time that a particularly compact and inexpensive shower toilet without a technical box or unit has been provided behind the toilet body in compliance with the provisions of DIN EN 1717.
