Abstract

The installation device (5) for a sanitary fitting (1) has a building-in box to take a wash basin (2) or a urinal. Devices (e.g. 4) are provided to supply water and disinfectant. Water drains away through a drainpipe (3). The building-in box includes an electronic control device. The installation device should preferably be fixed to a frame (6).

Description

  • The invention relates to an installation device for a sanitary device, in particular a washbasin or a urinal, with a built-in box for Unterputzeinbau in the drainage area of the sanitary device, are arranged in the means for water supply and disposal of the sanitary device.
  • An installation device of this kind is known in the art from CH 621 837 have become known to the applicant. This is designed as a rinsing device for the individual rinsing of Wandurinalen. It has a box for the Unterputzeinbau. In this box, a Absaugsiphon, connection means for a water supply pipe and a shut-off valve for a dosing container for a liquid for disinfecting the urinal are arranged. The box also has connection means for a line leading to a rinse water inlet for rinsing the urinal. This rinse water inlet is located above the urinal bowl. The triggering of the flushing of a urinal is usually carried out electronically, for example by means of a radar probe. Such electronic devices must be accommodated vandal-proof. This also applies to washstands that have an electronically controlled outlet fitting.
  • To avoid damage by vandalism is through the EP 0 942 105 a wall mounting housing for a radar probe has become known. This has behind a sanitary body an introduction and inspection opening, which is arranged vertically Shaft leads. In this shaft, a radar probe can be pushed up and thus housed in an upper area of the shaft, which would be accessible from the outside only after removing the urinal bowl. A disadvantage is the comparatively complicated assembly.
  • The invention has for its object to provide an installation device of the type mentioned, which is easier to assemble and yet largely secured against vandalism. The installation device should nevertheless be easily and quickly revised.
  • The object is achieved in a generic installation device characterized in that in the installation box an electronic control device for controlling the sanitary device is arranged. The installation box of the installation device according to the invention thus contains not only the means for the water supply and the disposal of the sanitary device, but also also an electronic control device for controlling the sanitary device. The protection of the electronic control device results from the fact that the installation box is flush mounted below the sanitary body. In the case of a wash basin with an electronically controlled outlet fitting, the electronic control device is thus not located in the area of the outlet fitting but in a better protected area below the wash basin. This also applies to a urinal, in which the control device for the electronic flush release is now not arranged in the upper region, but in a lower region.
  • The inventive installation device is also advantageous in terms of mounting. When installing the installation box, the means for the water supply, the means for the disposal of the sanitary device and at the same time also the electronic control device are installed at the same time. In a revision, all these means and thus also the electronic control device in the installation box are accessible. The installation box is accessible according to a development of the invention via a removable front panel. After removing the front panel are thus the means and the electronic control device accessible and can be revised or replaced.
  • According to a development of the invention, the means for disposal of the sanitary device on a drain siphon. In the case of a wash basin, the drain line can be connected directly to the installation box or to the drain siphon.
  • According to a development of the invention, the means for the water supply at least one mixing valve. In the case of a washbasin this allows a much simpler design of an electronically controlled outlet fitting. The mixing valve is thus not arranged as usual in the region of the outlet fitting, but below the washstand in the installation box in this case.
  • The inventive installation device is connected according to a development of the invention to a sensor and in particular a capacitive sensor. The sensor may be provided for controlling an outlet fitting or a flushing device. The electronic control device which is connected to the sensor is also arranged in this case below the sanitary body or behind this.
  • The invention also relates to a sanitary device with an inventive installation device. The sanitary facility has in particular a washbasin or urinal bowl. Preferably, the mounting box is mounted on a frame that is flush mounted, for example, mounted behind a cover plate. The mounting box is accessible via an opening covered by the front panel which covers this opening.

  • In the FIG. 1 shown inventive device 1 has a conventional washstand 2, over which an outlet fitting 4 is arranged. The outlet fitting 4 is designed as a faucet, which is controlled electronically, for example via a capacitive proximity sensor 15. Such fittings 4 are known per se. Below the washstand 2, an installation device 5 is arranged, which is fixed to trusses 24 of a flush mounted frame 6. This installation device 5 is used for the supply of the outlet fitting 4, the disposal of the wash bowl 2 and for the control of the outlet fitting 4. This installation device 5 is flush mounted and accessible for revision after removing a cover plate 7.
  • The frame 6, to which the installation device 5 is attached, has vertical profiles 23, which are parked on feet 21 on a building floor 22. As can be seen, the profiles 23 are connected to one another via cross members, wherein a cross member 25 serves for fastening the washing bowl 2. Above this, a mounting rail 17 is arranged, on which the outlet fitting 4 is attached. Below the traverse 25 two other trusses 24 are attached to the profiles 23, which serve to fasten the installation device 5. As can be seen, the trusses 24 are arranged below the sanitary article 2.
  • The installation device 5 has a mounting box 19 which is connected to the two trusses 24. In this installation box 19 is a siphon 8, which is a drain siphon for the washstand 2. This is connected via a drain line 3 to the vanity 2. The drain line 3 leads in a lower region through an opening 7a of a cover plate 7 and an opening 28 of a wall 27 and into the installation box 19. The cover plate 7 is detachably attached to the wall 27. After this Loosening the cover plate 7 is accessible through the opening 28 through the mounting box 19 for a revision. The siphon 8 forms an odor trap in the usual way and is connected to a nozzle 20 to a disposal line, not shown here.
  • To supply the outlet fitting 4 with water, connection means 11 for water pipes 9 and 10 are arranged on the mounting box 19. These connection means 11 have two connection sleeves 29, wherein one is provided for the water pipe 9 and the other for the water pipe 10. One of the lines is intended for cold water and the other for hot water. The sleeves 29 are preferably pre-mounted on the mounting box 19. Lines 12 lead from the sleeves 29 to a mixing valve 14, which is also arranged on the mounting box 19. These lines 12 are also preferably pre-assembled and lead the mixing valve 14 to the cold or warm water. From the mixing valve 14, a water pipe 18 leads to a further sleeve 30, which is fastened to the rail 17 and which serves for the connection of the outlet fitting 4. The outlet fitting 4 is thus supplied via the installation device 5 with water.
  • In the mounting box 19, a control device 13 is further arranged, which is provided for controlling the outlet fitting 4 and which is connected via a line 31 to an electrical energy source. The control device 13 is connected via a sensor line 16 to a sensor 15, which is arranged on the mounting rail 17 and thus in the region of the outlet fitting 4. The sensor 15 is in particular a capacitive proximity sensor. The sensor 15 detects, for example, the presence of a hand in the region of an outlet pipe 26 of the outlet fitting 4. Such sensors are well known to the person skilled in the art. If a hand approaches the outlet pipe 26, the sensor 15 reports this via a signal from the control device 13. This opens the mixing valve 14, so that water is supplied to the outlet fitting 4 via the water line 18. If the hand is no longer detected, the sensor 15 in turn signals the control device 13, which now closes the mixing valve 14.
  • The control device 13, the mixing valve 14, the sleeves 29 and the siphon 8 are accessible after the removal of the cover plate 7 through the opening 28 therethrough. In such a revision, for example, the control device 13 and the siphon 8 be replaced. It is essential that the outlet fitting 4 can now be made very simple. It consists essentially of the outlet pipe 26, the sensor 15 and the connection sleeve 30. The mixing valve 14 and the control device 13 are located in the installation device 5, which are arranged below the washstand 2 and thus better protected.
  • If the device 1 is a urinal, the washstand 2 is replaced by a urinal bowl. The outlet fitting 4 is in this case a flushing device with a flush valve, which is arranged in the upper region behind the urinal bowl. The triggering of the flushing also takes place in this case, preferably without contact via a suitable sensor or radar. The flush valve replaces the mixing valve 14 and is thus also arranged in the installation device 5. This also applies to the control device 13, which is also arranged in the installation device 5 in this case. The installation device 5 can be arranged in the drainage area behind the urinal bowl or below it. If it is behind the urinal bowl, the cover plate 7 can be omitted. The siphon 8 is in this case, in particular, a suction siphon.

Claims (13)

  1. Installation device for a sanitary device, in particular a washbasin (2) or a urinal, with a flush-mounted installation box (19) in the drainage area of the sanitary appliance, in the means (29, 12, 14) for the water supply and means (8) for the disposal of the sanitary device are arranged, characterized in that in the installation box (19) an electronic control device (13) is arranged for controlling the sanitary device.
