Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Pumpe 1 mit einem Gehäuse 2, in dem ein Elektromotor 3 und mindestens eine von einer Welle des Elektromotors 3 antreibbare Pumpstufe 4 angeordnet sind, einem Einlass 5 und einen Auslass 6, die auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Pumpe 1 angeordnet sind, und Anschlussleitungen 9 zur Kontaktierung des Elektromotors 3. Die Anschlussleitungen 9 sind über die Einlassseite der Pumpe 1 zum Elektromotor 3 geführt.

Description

Beschreibung Pumpe Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Pumpe mit einem Gehäuse, in dem ein Elektromotor und mindestens eine von einer Welle des Elektromotors antreibbare Pumpstufe angeordnet sind, einem Einlass und einen Auslass, die auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Pumpe angeordnet sind, und Anschlussleitungen zur Kontakt ierung des Elektromotors.
Derartige Pumpen sind bekannt und werden zum Fördern von Flüssigkeiten und Gasen, insbesondere von Kraftstoff in einem Kraftfahrzeug benutzt. Die Pumpen können sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb des Kraftstoffbehälters angeordnet sein. Un¬ abhängig von der Anordnung wird der Kraftstoff über den Einlass angesaugt, in der Pumpstufe auf das gewünscht Druckniveau gebracht und durch den Elektromotor zum Auslass und über eine daran angeschlossene Vorlaufleitung zur Brennkraftmaschine des Kraftfahrzeugs gefördert. Die Kontaktierung des Elektromotors erfolgt mittels zweier Anschlussleitungen, welche auf der Auslassseite der Kraftstoffpumpe in den Elektromotor hinein¬ geführt sind. Nachteilig ist, dass zur Verhinderung von Per¬ meation und Leckagen die Abdichtung der Kraftstoffpumpe ins- besondere an den Durchführungen einen erheblichen Aufwand erfordert .
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Pumpe zu schaffen, bei der Leckagen und Permeation mit geringem Aufwand verhindert oder zumindest deutlich minimiert werden.
Gelöst wird die Aufgabe dadurch, dass die Anschlussleitungen über die Einlassseite der Pumpe zum Elektromotor geführt sind. Die Kontaktierung des Elektromotors der erfindungsgemäßen
Kraftstoffpumpe kann eine Durchführung der Anschlussleitungen oder eine Steckerverbindung an der Einlassseite der Pumpe sein. Mit dem Verlegen der Kontaktierung auf die Saugseite der Pumpe wird der auf die Kontaktierung wirkende Differenzdruck zwischen Aussendruck und Pumpeninnendruck reduziert, da die Kontaktierung nicht mit an der Auslassseite angeordnet ist, wo der von der Pumpe erzeugte Betriebsdruck anliegt. Aufgrund des geringeren Dif¬ ferenzdrucks sinkt der Aufwand für die Abdichtung im Bereich der Kontaktierung bei gleichbleibend guter oder verbesserter Abdichtung, wodurch die Pumpe kostengünstiger zu fertigen ist. Durch die verbesserte Abdichtung ist es möglich die Emissi- onswerte einer solchen Kraftstoffpumpe zu senken. Andererseits erlaubt die verbesserte Abdichtung das Betreiben der Kraft¬ stoffpumpe mit einem höheren Betriebsdruck.
Das Verlegen der Anschlussleitungen in der Pumpe erfordert einen sehr geringen Aufwand, wenn die Anschlussleitungen an der Gehäuseinnenwand angeordnet sind. Mit dieser Ausgestaltung wird ein Verlegen der Anschlussleitungen durch den Elektromotor und die Pumpstufe vermieden. Eine sichere Führung der Anschlussleitungen innerhalb des
Gehäuses wird in einer weiteren Ausgestaltung dadurch erreicht, dass das Gehäuse der Pumpstufe an seinem Umfang eine Nut besitzt und dass die Anschlussleitungen in der Nut angeordnet sind. Im einfachsten Fall ist die Nut axial ausgerichtet.
In gleicher Weise ist es möglich, im Stator des Elektromotors eine derartige Führung vorzusehen. Dies ist insbesondere dann mit geringem Aufwand verbunden, wenn eine derartige Führung beispielsweise im zum Elektromotor gehörenden Rückschlusskörper angeordnet ist. Es ist aber auch denkbar, bereits vorhandene Spalten oder Rücksprünge für die Anordnung der Anschlusslei¬ tungen zu nutzen.
In einer anderen Ausgestaltung sind die Anschlussleitungen durch das Pumpengehäuse der Pumpstufe geführt. Das Pumpengehäuse ist dazu mit einer Bohrung versehen. Diese Bohrung kann zudem derart ausgebildet sein, dass sie gleichzeitig für die Aufnahme der Dichtung ausgebildet ist, um die das Innere der Pumpe gegen die Umgebung abzudichten.
Ein geringerer Durchmesser des Pumpengehäuses und damit der Pumpstufe wird dadurch erreicht, dass anstelle einer Bohrung am Umfang des Pumpengehäuses der Pumpstufe eine Nut vorhanden ist, in der die Anschlussleitungen angeordnet sind. Auch diese Nut ist in vorteilhafter Weise axial ausgerichtet. In einer anderen Ausgestaltung kann die Bohrung zur Aufnahme eines Steckers ausgebildet sein. Dadurch können die An¬ schlussleitungen von außerhalb bis zur Pumpe geführt werden und über eine Steckverbindung mit den im Innern der Pumpe verlaufenden Anschlussleitungen kontaktiert werden. Diese geteilte Ausführung der Anschlussleitungen hat den Vorteil, dass die Kontaktierung des Elektromotors bereits vorab mit dem Zusam¬ menbau der Pumpe erfolgen kann, während die Kontakt ierung mit der Energieversorgung zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt, beispielsweise der Montage der Pumpe in einem Behälter, vorgenommen wird.
Die in der Pumpe zu verlegenden Anschlussleitungen lassen sich verkürzen, indem gemäß einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung der Elektromotor zwischen Einlass und Pumpstufe angeordnet ist. Diese Ausgestaltung erlaubt eine vereinfachte Montage und kostengünstigere Fertigung. Zudem erlaubt diese Ausgestaltung die Verwendung eines an sich bekannten Anschlussstücks als einlassseitigen Abschluss der Pumpe, um so die Kontaktierung aber auch die Verbindung mit der Vorlaufleitung zu ermöglichen. An mehreren Ausführungsbeispielen wird die Erfindung näher erläutert. Es zeigen in
Fig. 1 eine erfindungsgemäße Pumpe, Fig. 2, 3 weitere Ausführungsformen der Pumpe nach Fig. 1. „
Figur 1 zeigt eine Kraftstoffpumpe 1 zum Fördern von Kraftstoff aus einem Kraftstoff ehälter zur Brennkraftmaschine eines Kraftfahrzeugs, wobei die Kraftstoffpumpe 1 außerhalb des Kraftstoffbehälters angeordnet ist. Die Kraftstoffpumpe 1 besteht aus einem Gehäuse 2, in dem ein Elektromotor 3 und mindestens eine von einer Welle 4 des Elektromotors 3 antreibbare Pumpstufe 4 angeordnet sind. Auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Kraftstoffpumpe 1 sind ein Einlass 5 und einen Auslass 6 an¬ geordnet. Der Einlass 5 ist über eine Vorlaufleitung 7 mit dem nicht dargestellten Kraftstoffbehälter verbunden, so dass die Pumpstufe 4 darüber Kraftstoff ansaugen kann. Von der Pumpstufe 4 wird der Kraftstoff anschließend durch den Elektromotor 3 zum Auslass 6 und von dort über die Vorlaufleitung 7 zur ebenfalls nicht dargestellten Brennkraftmaschine gefördert. Das Gehäuse 8 des Elektromotors 3 ist dicht mit dem Pumpenauslass der
Pumpstufe 4 und dem Auslass 6 verbunden, so dass von der Pumpstufe 4 geförderter Kraftstoff über den Elektromotor 3 direkt zum Auslass 6 gelangt . Die Anschlussleitungen 9 zur Kontaktierung des Elektromotors 3 sind seitlich aus dem Gehäuse 8 heraus und zur Einlassseite der Kraftstoffpumpe 1 geführt. Über eine Dichtung 10 sind die Anschlussleitungen 9 aus der Kraftstoffpumpe 1 herausgeführt. Die Dichtung 10 ist relativ einfach ausgeführt, da in dem Bereich der Kraftstoffpumpe 1, in dem die Anschlussleitungen 9 verlaufen, ein deutlich geringer Druck als der am Auslass 6 anliegende Förderdruck herrscht.
Fig. 2 zeigt eine Kraftstoffpumpe 1 mit einem Einlass 5 und einen Auslass 6. Im Unterschied zu Fig. 1 ist der Elektromotor 3 auf der Einlassseite und die Pumpstufe 4 auf der Auslassseite der Kraftstoffpumpe 1 angeordnet. Den einlassseitigen Abschluss der Kraftstoffpumpe 1 bildet ein von herkömmlichen Kraftstoffpumpen bekanntes Anschlussstück 11, deren Auslass in dieser Ausführung als Einlass 5 dient. Ebenso wird die Geometrie der Kabel¬ durchführung in Form eines Steckers 12 verwendet mit dem Un- terschied, dass die Dichtung im Stecker 12 zum Durchführen der Anschlussleitungen 9 deutlich einfacher ausgeführt ist, da in diesem Bereich der Kraftstoffpumpe 1 ein deutlich geringerer Druck herrscht als der von der Pumpstufe 4 erzeugte Förderdruck. Erreicht wird dies durch die direkte und dichte Verbindung des Auslasses der Pumpenstufe 4 mit dem Auslass 6. Die Kraftstoffpumpe 1 in Fig. 3 entspricht im Wesentlichen dem Aufbau nach Fig. 1. Das Gehäuse der Pumpstufe 4 besitzt an seinem Umfang eine axial verlaufende Nut 13, in der die Anschluss¬ leitungen 9 angeordnet sind.

Claims
