Definitions
- the subject of the invention is a film dispenser according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Adhesive films are widely used in the catering sector and in private households as cling films for food. Such smooth plastic films are usually made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene (PE) and, due to van der Waals forces, adhere to smooth surfaces without adhesive. This is desirable if such films are used to cover vessel openings or to wrap food. However, the adhesive properties can also be disruptive if areas of the film adhere to one another in an undesirable manner.
- Rolled-up adhesive films are usually stored in containers made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard. Such containers often also serve as dispensers, from which film sections can be pulled out and separated using a separating device. Often an edge of the container is designed as a finely jagged tear-off edge as a separating device. When pulled-out film sections are severed at such tear-off edges, parts of these film sections often adhere to one another in an undesirable manner.
- separating devices can also comprise a guide profile and a cutting device with a cutting knife, which is mounted displaceably along this guide profile.
- a film dispenser which comprises a container or housing with such a separating device.
- the housing is preferably made as a disposable container made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard.
- the separating device comprises a separate plastic profile which is attached to the upper front edge of the housing.
- the cutting device is slidably mounted on this plastic profile.
- the housing and separating device of such film dispensers are stable compared to conventional containers made of thin cardboard. The costs and the material requirements for the production of such film dispensers are comparatively high. This is all the more true as the containers are one-way. Such containers are disposed of after the film supply is exhausted. The ecological balance of such a one-way container still has room for improvement.
- WO 2006/096187 A1 discloses a film dispenser which comprises a folding box and a cutting knife which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction along a guide gap of this folding box.
- the cutting knife comprises a head which can be or is connected to a foot via a column in which a blade is embedded. The The length and width of the foot are much greater than the width of the guide gap.
- a larger insertion opening is formed at the end of the guide gap.
- the foot can be designed as a separate element which is attached to the column from the inside of the folding box after the column has been introduced into the guide gap from the outside.
- the film dispenser disclosed in this publication represents the closest prior art.
- U.S. 4,787,284 A discloses a film dispenser with a folding box and a cutting knife which can be displaced along a guide gap in this folding box.
- the cutting knife comprises a guide element with an H-shaped cross section with two parallel guide plates.
- a blade with a cutting edge is arranged between the upper guide plate and a handle part arranged above it.
- WO 2004/108 572 A1 discloses a film dispenser comprising a folding box to which a guide rail is attached, and a sliding element with a blade which is slidably mounted along the guide rail.
- WO 2012/013 196 A1 discloses a stackable film dispenser with a cutting device mounted displaceably along a guide gap on a folding box.
- the cutting device comprises a Slide shoe and a handle with a blade that is pivotably mounted on this slide shoe.
- EP 2 586 728 A1 discloses a packaging for films with a container, on the outside of which there is an outstanding tab which comprises an adhesive for releasably fixing a film end section pulled out of the packaging.
- One object of the present invention is to create a film dispenser that can be produced simply and inexpensively and has a separating device that is easy to operate.
- Another object of the invention is to design the film dispenser as a stackable container that can be used for storing and transporting a roll of film.
- FIG 1 shows an open film dispenser with an inserted film roll 1.
- the film dispenser comprises a housing in the form of an elongated, essentially cuboid-shaped folding box 3.
- the folding box 3 can be made for example from cardboard or corrugated cardboard, preferably from cardboard with a wall thickness between about 0.5mm and 1mm.
- a punched crack of this folding box 3 is shown in Figure 7 shown.
- the punched edges are shown as bold lines, the folded edges as thinner lines.
- Broken bold lines are perforation lines 15 for separating areas of the folding box 3 that are adjacent to one another.
- the outer length L1 of the box body 11 is, for example, in the range from 20 cm to 52 cm.
- the width and the height of the box are preferably at least approximately the same size and are, for example, in the range from 35 mm to 70 mm.
- the width L2 of the adhesive film tape rolled onto a sleeve-like core 5, called film 7 for short, is smaller than the length of the core 5, so that the core 5 projects axially beyond the rolled film 7 on both sides, preferably by about 10 mm to about 40 mm.
- the length of the core 5 is only slightly - for example 5mm to 15mm - smaller than the outer length L1 of the housing body.
- Bearing points 9 for the rotatable mounting of the film roll 1 are arranged on the inside on the end walls of the folding box 3.
- the box body 11 comprises an elongated rectangular bottom 11a, a rear wall 11b and similarly Front wall 11c and one end wall 11d, 11e on each side.
- the end walls 11d, 11e comprise laterally hinged or protruding side flaps 12 on the base 11a, on the front wall 11c and on the rear wall 11b, which overlap one another after folding to form a box body 11.
- a hinged cover 13 is pivotably articulated on the upper edge of the rear wall 11b.
- the hinged cover 13 comprises a rectangular cover 13a, a front flap 13b adjoining its front edge, which at least partially covers the front wall 11c of the box body 11 in the closed state, and two front wings 13c, 13d which, when the cover 13 is closed, at least the upper area of each cover adjacent end walls 11d, 11e.
- the front flap 13b comprises at least one perforation line 15a which divides the front flap 13b into an upper section 14 and a lower section 16.
- the lower section 16 is glued locally to the front wall 11c of the box body 11 at several points, preferably by means of point gluing.
- a tab 18 protruding at the bottom of the lower section 16 can also be used to connect the lid 13 to the box body 11.
- FIG. 2 shows the empty folding box 3 with partially opened lid 13, the lower portion 16 of the Front flap 13b has already been separated.
- a narrow guide gap 17 is punched out over a large part of the length of the housing or is cut out in some other way.
- the length L3 ( Fig. 7 ) this guide gap 17 is larger than the width L2 of the film 7 and smaller than the outer length L1 of the box body 11.
- the front wall 11c preferably comprises a gap-free section between each of the gap ends and the respectively adjacent end wall 11d, 11e, the width of which is in the Of the order of 10-40mm.
- the width L4 ( Fig. 7 ) of the guide gap 17 is of the order of magnitude of approximately 1mm to approximately 4mm and is preferably 2mm to 3mm.
- the guide gap 17 is preferably arranged approximately in the middle of the front wall 11c parallel to its longitudinal edges.
- the guide gap 17 can also be somewhat higher or lower, preferably within the middle third of the wall height.
- the guide gap 17 could also be formed on the hinged cover 13 or on the rear wall 11b (not shown).
- a front inner wall 19 adjoins the upper edge of the front wall 11c. It is hinged to the front wall 11c by means of a fold 21a, preferably by means of two folds 21a, 21b formed at a small mutual spacing of, for example, 2mm to 5mm from one another.
- the front inner wall 19 is ins Inside of the box body 11 folded over. It serves to stabilize the front wall 11c.
- a support tongue 23 protrudes forward at its upper edge or at the front fold 21a.
- this can be separated from the adjoining area of the front wall 11c along a semicircular perforation line 15b and pivoted forward.
- the two ends of the perforation line 15b adjoin the front fold 21a.
- the front end of the film supply rests on this support tongue 23 and can thus be grasped more easily.
- the support tongue 23 prevents the film end in the central area from coming into contact with the front wall 11c and from sticking to it.
- the perforation line 15b has a sufficient distance from the guide gap 17, which can be between 5mm and 20mm, for example.
- the front wall 11c comprises on the outside an adhesion zone 27 shown in dark, to which a film section pulled out of the film roll 1 releasably adheres again when it is to be separated.
- the adhesion zone 27 extends preferably above and below the guide gap 17 over its entire length L3.
- the outside of the front wall 11c is designed without an adhesion zone 27 or with an adhesion-free zone 28, so that the film 7 can be more easily grasped there.
- the embodiment shown is a rectangular area between the support tongue 23 and the guide gap 17 as a non-stick zone 28, the length of which is approximately twice as long as the width of the support tongue 23.
- the non-stick zone 28 directly adjoins the guide gap 17.
- the adhesion zone 27 is not interrupted below the guide gap 17.
- the adhesive zone 27 could also comprise several non-contiguous areas which, with the exception of the non-adhesive zone 28, are distributed on the front wall 11c.
- the adhesion zone 27 is designed as a coating with a smooth surface on the outside of the front wall 11c.
- This coating is preferably a self-adhesive plastic film, for example a plastic film made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE).
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- PET polyester
- PP polypropylene
- PE polyethylene
- another thin layer with a smooth surface can also be applied as an adhesive layer in the area of the adhesive zone 27 on the front wall 11c, for example a lacquer or paint layer.
- the good adhesive properties for adhesive films 7 can be due to Van der Waals forces and / or electrostatic forces.
- a layer of a re-releasable adhesive could also be applied as an adhesive layer or a Double-sided adhesive tape are stuck on, one side of which is permanently adhesive and the other side is designed to be reversibly adhesive.
- the width of strip-shaped adhesion zones 27 is preferably in the range from 2.5 mm to 7.5 mm and is, for example, 3 mm or 4 mm.
- Figure 4 shows a film dispenser with a folding box 3, in which the lower section 16 of the front flap 13b has already been separated.
- two strips of a self-adhesive film are glued onto the front wall 11c as an adhesive zone 27, a rectangular non-adhesive zone 28 being cut out above the guide gap 17.
- a single, wide strip of the self-adhesive film is preferably glued onto the front wall 11c or onto the flat structure from which the punched crack for the folding box 3 is punched out before the guide gap 17 in particular is punched.
- This strip can protrude beyond the guide gap 17 on both sides and in turn includes a recess for a non-stick zone 28. This can additionally improve the stability of the folding box 3 in the area of the guide gap 17, which is particularly advantageous in the case of sheet-like structures made of thin cardboard.
- Figure 5 shows a detailed view of the folding box 3 in the gripping area with the tongue 23 protruding forwards.
- Figure 6 shows a detail of the folding box 3 in the area of one of the bearing points 9 seen from above at The two folds 21a, 21b on the upper edge of the front wall 11c as well as the inwardly folded front inner wall 19 are clearly visible.
- One of the two retaining tabs 29 protruding outward at the upper edges of the end walls 11d, 11e is also shown, which hold back the cover 13 in the closed position without the action of additional external forces by form-fitting contact with a shoulder 31 on the inside of the respective front wing 13c, 13d.
- FIGs 8 to 12 show different representations of a cutting knife 33, which is guided along the guide gap 17 in the longitudinal direction of the folding box 3 is displaceable.
- Figure 8 shows the cutting knife 33 in a perspective view obliquely from above, Figure 9 under supervision.
- Figure 10 shows part of the cutting knife 33 cut open in the longitudinal direction along a blade 35.
- the blade 35 is made trapezoidally from knife steel, the two legs 37 being designed as cutting edges which are inclined relative to the longer base side at an angle in the range of 25 ° to 45 ° and is preferably 35 °.
- the longer base side of the blade 35 can, for example, have a length between 8 mm and 14 mm, preferably between 10 mm and 12 mm.
- the blade thickness is between 0.08 and 0.5mm and is preferably about 0.3mm.
- the height of the blade 35 is preferably between 2 mm and 3 mm and is, for example, 2.5 mm.
- the cutting knife 33 includes a upper guide plate 39 and a lower guide plate 41, which are arranged parallel to one another at a small distance A. This distance A is somewhat greater than the wall thickness of the front wall 11c and is preferably in the range from 1 mm to 3 mm, in particular between 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm.
- the strength or thickness B of the lower guide plate 41 is preferably in the range from 0.3mm to 1.3mm and is, for example, 0.5mm.
- the two guide plates 39, 41 have an approximately rectangular basic shape with rounded corners and side edges.
- the lower guide plate 41 is flat.
- the upper guide plate 39 has a greater plate thickness C in the order of magnitude of approximately 1 mm to approximately 2 mm.
- the upper guide plate 39 is curved upwards towards the side edges located in the direction of displacement.
- Their length D in this direction of displacement can for example be between 15mm and 25mm, preferably between 15mm and 20mm.
- the length E of the lower guide plate 41 in this displacement direction is preferably about 2mm to 5mm less than the length D.
- the length F of the upper guide plate 39 transversely to the displacement direction is at least approximately the same as the length D in the displacement direction.
- the length G of the lower guide plate 41 transversely to the direction of displacement is slightly, for example 5% to 10% greater than the corresponding length F of the upper guide plate 39.
- a gripping button 43 protrudes centrally on the upper guide plate 39 upwards. This can, for example, take the form of a top have flattened ball.
- the total height H of the cutting knife 33 is preferably less than 10 mm, for example 7 mm.
- the maximum height K of the upper guide plate 39 in relation to the underside of the lower guide plate 41 is preferably smaller than the total height H of the cutting knife 33 at the ends curved upwards.
- the blade 35 is thus in a narrow, centrally between the two guide plates 39, 41 arranged web 45 is embedded that the longer base side lies with the upper guide plate 39 and the shorter side with the lower guide plate 41, and that only the leg regions with the two cutting edges 37 protrude.
- the blade 35 is oriented orthogonally to the planes of the guide plates 39, 41 and preferably comprises a bore (not shown) which enables a positive, secure connection with the web 45.
- the cutting knife 33 is preferably manufactured by injection molding, the blade 35 being partially injected into the web 45.
- the web 45 has a width M of, for example, 2mm to 3mm. This width M is matched to the width of the guide gap 17 in such a way that the cutting knife 33 can be displaced along this guide gap 17 with little play.
- the web 45 can have a length that increases linearly or progressively towards the top.
- the cutting knife 33 can be inserted into the guide gap 17 of the box body 11 by arching the areas of the front wall 11c adjoining the guide gap 17 forwards and into the Gaps between the guide plates 39, 41 are introduced.
- the upper section of the front flap 13b can, depending on the embodiment, cover the cutting knife 33 completely, partially or not at all.
- the perforation line 15b can run in a straight line as in the embodiment shown.
- the perforation line 15b can also be arranged in such a way that the lower edge of the upper section 14 of the front flap 13b is higher in the middle area than at the front end areas, as shown in FIG Figure 4 is indicated by the dotted line 40.
- the cutting knife 33 can thus be better grasped and displaced with the fingers of one hand, at least approximately along the full length of the guide gap 17. Before the first use, that is, before the lower section 16 of the front flap 13b is torn off, this front flap 13b completely covers the guide gap 17 and the cutting knife 33.
- the Figures 13 to 15 show a further embodiment of a cutting knife 33 in sequence in a perspective view, in a transverse side view and in a side view in the cutting direction.
- the grip button 43 extends in the cutting direction over the entire length of the cutting knife 33.
- the top of the grip button 43 is slightly concave in the cutting direction. It comprises a corrugation transversely to the cutting direction and can easily be moved along the guide gap 17 with just one finger. Project from the lower guide plate 41 Stop elements 47 upwards. When the cutting knife 33 is inserted into the guide gap 17, these lie against the inner surface of the folding box 3.
- the height L of the stop elements 47 depends on the material thickness of the folding box 3 in the region of the guide gap 17 and on the distance A between the two guide plates 39, 41, this distance A preferably being equal to or greater than the height L of the stop elements 47 the distance A is also less than or equal to the sum of the material thickness of the folding box 3 and the height L of the stop elements 47.
- the distance A can be 2.2 mm and the height L 1.9 mm.
- the stop elements 47 are preferably arranged slightly offset outwards with respect to the edges of the upper guide plate 39, so that a material-free gap is created, the width M of which is such that the cutting knife 33 can be inserted into the guide gap 17 of the folding box 3 without any problems.
- the two guide plates 39, 41, the web 45 arranged between them and the To design the gripping button 43 as a one-piece injection-molded part made of plastic, two complementary halves of each area being connected to one another via a film hinge 49 on the underside of the lower guide plate 41.
- This connection can take place, for example, by means of locking elements, by gluing or by ultrasonic welding, as is well known from the prior art.

Description
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Foliendispenser gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The subject of the invention is a film dispenser according to the preamble of
Adhesive films are widely used in the catering sector and in private households as cling films for food. A front

It is particularly advantageous to use the two
