Definitions
- the invention relates to a package according to the preamble of claim 1.
- US-A-3,179,301 a packaging with a portioning device of the type mentioned is known.
- US-A-5,307,955 discloses a package having a chamber with chamber walls of flexible material forming a footprint. An automatically closable portioning device is integrated into the packaging within the areas bounded by the standing area.
- the present invention seeks to make the portioning of a package of the type mentioned for common household types of products used and in particular for packaging that form a deformable chamber.
- the packaging has a designated for receiving a free-flowing product chamber.
- This chamber can be closed by a portioning device adjoining this chamber, wherein with the portioning device in an open position at least partially a passage at the lower end of the chamber can be formed.
- the portioning device has two valve flaps, which are connected to each other by at least one resilient element, so that closing edges of the valve flaps in the rest position of the one or more resilient elements keep the chamber closed against the environment.
- a more or less large passage opening can be reached by pressure on the valve flap in a simple manner and thus a simple dosage of free-flowing products possible.
- the device acts as a double-seesaw device for discharging the contents only when these flaps are kept pressed while an automatic closure is achieved upon release of the flaps.
- the attachable to the opening of a package device for dispensing a dispensable content is integratable in the sense that it is considered by the user as integral with the packaging.
- the Fig. 1 shows a schematic partially sectioned side view of a lower portion of a package 1 with a portioning device 2.
- the upper portion may, as in the illustration of Fig. 2 be designed.
- the reference numeral 3 designates a carrying and suspension device to which a bag 4 forming a chamber is attached.
- the suspension device 3 may also include a (top) bag closure.
- the bag can be stiff, semi-rigid or flexible. It can be a sack, bag, fiber, plastic film or other materials; Advantageously, the bag is flexible at least in its lower region. It can be transparent or opaque. Areas of application are animal feed, cleaning agents and / or building materials. Such bags are often offered in retail on pallets, so that the bag material is exposed to some external influences. This also applies to the portioning device 2.
- This portioning device 2 One way in which this portioning device 2 can be protected will be described later in connection with FIG FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 described.
- the material of the chamber 4 forms a cardboard or bag based on pulp or plastic.
- the chamber 4 may be formed, for example, bag-shaped, wherein the portioning device 2 forms a conclusion of the originally open on both sides bag.
- the chamber 4 is then formed from two lateral rectangular foils which are closed at the sides by inserting an intermediate part or directly.
- plastic films it is also possible to use a cylindrical endless-film foil. On the suspension, the rectangular films can be brought together again and welded, stapled or otherwise closed.
- the portioning 2 consists in the simplest case of the embodiment shown here of two, when the bag perpendicular to the plane of the Fig. 1 higher, which will be the rule, rectangular rigid, plan, angular or part-circular valve flaps 11 and 12, which are resiliently connected by means of at least one resilient element 10. It is in the Fig. 1 shown position the rest position, that is, the chamber-side closing edges 16 close the bag from the environment. In other words, the bias of the resilient member 10 pushes the chamber-side closing edges 16 of the two valve flaps 11 and 12 towards each other and the surrounding edges 15 away from each other.
- the longitudinal direction ie perpendicular to the plane of the Fig.
- resilient elements 10 are provided to maintain a uniform pressure and bias across the entire width of the bag.
- resilient elements 10 for example, springs can be used, as they are used in commercial so-called clothes pegs, ie in which free ends of a wire passes over several windings in another free end, which are then clamped under appropriate bias to the valve flaps 11 and 12.
- the resilient elements 10 are then one Pivoting about their main axis gestattende compression springs.
- valve flaps 11 and 12 do not have to go over the entire width of the chamber 4; they may also form, for example, one-half or two-thirds of the area of the lower end, or they may be corner-shaped.
- the Fig. 2 now shows a schematic partially sectioned side view of the upper and lower portion of a package 1 with a portioning 2 according Fig. 1 in which the free-flowing product 24 flows out of the outlet opening.
- Like reference numerals designate the same or similar features in all figures.
- the pressure has to be in the area of the free lower edges 15, in any case below the resilient elements 10.
- the outflow opening 14 is at its greatest when the two valve flaps 11 and 12 are parallel to each other, as is the Fig. 2 represents.
- the pressure is exerted from the outside through the film of the chamber 4, advantageously there is a corresponding mark printed.
- the effluent product 24 with the valve flaps 11 and 12 in contact can for example consist of sturdy plastic, metal, wood or corrugated cardboard.
- the resilient elements 10, for example, made of metal can also be coated with plastic film, if the effluent product should not come into contact with the resilient elements 10.
- closure edges 16 When the intended amount of free-flowing material 24 is removed, the pressure according to the arrows 31 and 32 is removed, so that the resilient elements 10 again the chamber-side closure edges 16 to move toward each other until they again complete the chamber completely. It is possible that (not shown here) flexible and sealing scrapers are provided on these closure edges 16. It is also possible for the closure edges 16 to have intermeshing combs which, when meshed, successively push any flowable material present in this region either back into the chamber or let it fall out. Due to the controllable size of the outlet opening 14 and the automatic closure function of the portioning device 2, a simple and for these purposes sufficiently accurate dosage is possible.
- the lower edges of the films are at least partially bonded to the chamber wall of the chamber 4.
- the packaging 1 is in the FIGS. 3 and 5 presented in an upright position. So it can be offered in the trade.
- the package 1 then stands out as Fig. 3 apparent on two material-filled areas 5 of the chamber 4, which are separated from the triangular sectioning device 2 in section. According to FIG. 3 the lower sections of the films protrude against the Fig. 1, 2 and 4 beyond the portioning device 2 addition.
- an integrity guarantee element provided here with the reference numeral 21 is then produced.
- This is in the form of a two-dimensional sheet, namely the two foils of the two lower sections of the said side foils, which are connected to one another at least at corresponding adhesive regions 23 by bonding, for example.
- Fig. 1, 2 and 4 show exemplary so-called stand-up pouches, which can be hung upside down for portioning on devices of their stand side.
- the portioning device 2 can also be arranged on the outside of the chamber 4.
- the Fig. 4 shows a schematic partially sectioned side view of such a package with a portioning device.
- the closure edges 16 are provided on the environment side and the free edges 15 are chamber side.
- the forces on the valve flaps 11 and 12 apply above the resilient elements. The initial forces will be directed in the direction of the arrows 31 and 32, with the direction of the torque to be applied then the arrows rotates in alignment to achieve parallel valve flaps 11 and 12, so that material 24 similar as in Fig. 2 can flow out.
- the portioning device 2 can be protected by regions 5, that is to say sunk, as shown in FIG Fig. 3 is shown.
- the Fig. 5 Finally shows a further embodiment of the invention, in which the portioning device 2 with the valve flaps 11 and 12 as in the Fig. 1 or Fig. 3 is arranged.
- the difference lies in the design of the integrity guarantee element 41.
- This is designed here as a sheet-like film, which is pulled around the areas of the base 5 of the bag and connected there to the bag in a detachable manner.
- the portioning device 2 is held within the package in the rest position and can be damaged from the outside difficult.
- valve flaps 11 and 12 and the integrity guarantee elements 21, 41 may also be made of materials other than those specified, for example the latter may be a further envelope surrounding the packaging.
- the person skilled in further embodiments are known.
- the Fig. 6 illustrated embodiment forms during storage not the portioning 2 the lower end, but the package stands on the portion where the suspension device 3 is provided.
- the suspension device 3 may then also be a bracket made of the material forming the bag, in particular it may consist of a protruding folded-down portion of one of the side sheets. Then the portioning device 2 is up. Also a lateral storage on said large-area side sheets is possible, so that portioning device 2 and suspension device 3 protrude laterally from such a stack of packages.
- the Fig. 6 also shows a each serving a dose dispensing portioning. This is achieved in that the valve flaps 11 and 12 have at their inwardly directed free edge an approximately L-shaped valve extension 26 which terminates in a Dosierver gleichkante 16 '.
- the presentation of the Fig. 6 shows the pouch in its rest position, for example, as it is offered for sale. After opening the tamper-evident element 21 and turning over and hanging the packaging, it is securely closed by the closing flaps 16.
- These closure flaps 16 are here no aligned extension of the valve flap surfaces 11 or 12, but are mutually bent portions. Thus, the valve flap surfaces 11 or 12 are further apart in the closed position.
- the closure edges move away from each other and the Dosierver gleichkanten 16 'move toward each other until they close by touching.
- This metering volume 27 can also be formed in other embodiments in that either only the closing edges 16 and / or Also the Dosierver gleichkanten 16 'relative to the valve flaps 11 and 12 are aligned with each other so that they enclose the said metering volume 27.
- the packages 1 may also be subdivided in length and contain various products which can be removed in a dosed manner by means of series of two valve flaps 11, 12 arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the valve flaps 11, 12.
- the invention may also include embodiments in which the portioning device is subsequently attached to a package.
- the portioning device may be a separate element which, for example, in cross-section only the shape of the Fig. 1 having no bag chamber 4. It is then possible, for example, to cut an outlet opening into the packaging, into which separate portioning device 2 with the valve flaps 11 and 12 is inserted. The in the Fig. 1 .
- the areas designated by the reference numeral 22 can then be adhered to the valve flaps 11 and 12, for example by means of an adhesive layer applied in the bag interior, which is protected by a protective film from the flowable material 24, and which protective film is then removed for use of the separate portioning device 2 .
- the end portions of the package can also be bent around the edges 15 of the valve flaps 11 and 12 and then, for example, by a flexible band to be placed around the lower region of the valve flaps 11 and 12 by holding teeth (which are located inwardly on the surface of the valve flaps) press into the package) and / or other elements known to the person skilled in the art, so that the bottom of the pouch package is tightly tensioned around a corresponding clamping device of the portioning device.
- the use of such a separate portioning device 2 is of course particularly easy to carry out in a stand-up pouch for the user.

The packaging has a designated for receiving a free-flowing product chamber. This chamber can be closed by a portioning device adjoining this chamber, wherein with the portioning device in an open position at least partially a passage at the lower end of the chamber can be formed. The portioning device has two valve flaps, which are connected to each other by at least one resilient element, so that closing edges of the valve flaps in the rest position of the one or more resilient elements keep the chamber closed against the environment. Thus, a more or less large passage opening can be reached by pressure on the valve flap in a simple manner and thus a simple dosage of free-flowing products possible.
The device acts as a double-seesaw device for discharging the contents only when these flaps are kept pressed while an automatic closure is achieved upon release of the flaps.
With a corresponding device bags for products in the stated quantities of several kilograms can have made weight, which are still easy to handle by the buyer.
Finally, these features allow the realization of an integrity guarantee element by simply extending an edge of the material forming the chamber, which is closed off from the outlet of the portioning device.
The attachable to the opening of a package device for dispensing a dispensable content is integratable in the sense that it is considered by the user as integral with the packaging.
