  • the horizontal translation towards the rear of said lock is carried out by the translation of said arm driven by said motor.
  • Said device comprises a casing to be fixed to said frame and housing said electric motor, and said arm is movable relative to said casing.
  • Said lock preferably comprises two wings located on the other side of the ring relative to said axis of rotation and separated from one another, each wing sliding on a stop independent of said arm so that said pin can penetrate in said hole or be extracted therefrom. Thanks to these two wings, the wing-thrust friction on each wing is halved and wear resistance is further improved.
  • Said horizontal rearward translation preferably causes the tensioning of an attenuating spring and a forward translation is carried out to cause the lower face to return against said arm under the effect of the force. retaining force, this force being attenuated by the release of said attenuating spring.
  • This force being attenuated by the release of said attenuating spring.
  • the upper face and the lower face of said ring are bevelled, said ring being thicker near said axis of rotation, so that the lock is even more massive and therefore even more resistant.
  • Said pin preferably has a flared head, an interior section of the hole being greater than an exterior section of said head, in order to facilitate gripping of the pin by the ring of the lock.
  • the hole is preferably of circular inner section and said head is preferably of circular outer section, with the inner diameter of said hole being greater than the outer diameter of said head.
  • Said arm ends under the lock, preferably in a flat U-shape whose opening is at least as wide as the width of said hole and whose branches of the U are located opposite two magnets of said lock .

  • the opening preferably comprises a locking-unlocking mechanism comprising at least one movable handle and attached to the linkage assembly.
  • This handle is preferably movable between a locking position in which the opening is held against the frame and an unlocking position in which the opening is free to open or close relative to said frame.
  • the handle may be protruding, of the "L" type and allowing locking-unlocking by rotation about a horizontal axis; it can also be embedded and allow locking-unlocking by translation in a horizontal or vertical direction.
  • the pin referred to here is different from a bolt in the sense that during locking-unlocking, a pin is driven in a translational movement in a direction which is parallel to the adjacent upright of the frame while during locking -Unlocking, a bolt is driven in a translational movement in a direction which is perpendicular to the adjacent upright of the frame.
  • said pin is not a pin which cooperates with a specific cavity made in the frame of the frame; this pin is in mechanical contact only with the arm of said device (that is to say more precisely than with the lock of the arm).
  • the present invention also relates to a shutter of the window, door or French window type, comprising a frame and an opening which is movable in rotation with respect to the frame at least along a vertical axis of rotation and / or along an axis of rotation. horizontal, and further comprising at least an electric locking-unlocking and / or electric opening-closing device according to the invention, said device preferably being positioned in a top post of said frame.
  • the present invention makes it possible to grip the pin which is very reliable because it limits the point mechanical contacts.
  • the present invention allows the device to be easily used for opening by vertical rotation to the left or to the right.
  • This document proposes a solution to allow electrically locking-unlocking an opening vis-à-vis a frame and possibly allowing manual locking-unlocking of an opening vis-à-vis a frame.
  • This document also proposes a solution for making it possible to manually unlock the opening even if the opening has been electrically locked and to manually lock the opening even if the opening has been electrically unlocked.
  • a device for locking and unlocking electrically a shutter of the window, door or patio door type comprising a frame and an opening which can be opened “à la negligence” or “Tilt and turn” and which is movable in rotation with respect to the frame at least along a vertical axis of rotation, said device comprising an electric motor as well as an arm movable by means of said electric motor, the opening comprising a locking mechanism. release and a set of linkage.
  • Said locking-unlocking mechanism optionally comprises at least one movable handle and said linkage assembly is then attached to said handle, said handle being movable between a locking position in which the leaf is held against the frame and an unlocking position in which the opening is free to open or close with respect to said frame.
  • the motor of this device is permanently engaged, which means that if there is a need to force the device manually, without the aid of electric current, it must be done against the electric motor; however, such a motor is often fragile and does not support or only with great difficulty supports such a movement.
  • This document proposes a solution to allow manual actuation of an electric locking-unlocking and / or electric opening-closing device, without using an electric current and without risk of damaging the device.
  • this document further proposes a discrete solution, which is hidden when the opening is closed.
  • a device for electric locking-unlocking and / or electric opening-closing of a shutter of the window, door or French window type comprising a frame and an opening. which is movable in rotation with respect to the frame according to a vertical axis of rotation and / or according to a horizontal axis of rotation, said device comprising a housing and an electric motor rotating a worm having an axis and connected to a movable arm which is attachable or attached to said opening, said device comprising a disengagement system which is located between said electric motor and said worm in order to allow free rotation of said worm.
  • This document proposes a very reliable and very compact solution for transmitting the necessary movements between the electric motor and the opening.
  • a device for electric locking-unlocking and electric opening-closing of a shutter of the window, door or patio door type comprising a frame and an opening which is movable in rotation with respect to the frame at least along a horizontal axis of rotation, said device comprising a housing, an electric motor as well as a movable arm thanks to said electric motor, the opening comprising a locking-unlocking mechanism comprising at least one movable handle and a linkage assembly attached to said handle.
  • the casing is to be fixed to said frame and the arm is movable relative to said casing.
  • the element which is attached / detached by said means is linked to said locking-unlocking mechanism of the opening.
  • Said means for attaching / detaching an element of said opening operates a horizontal translational movement then a translational rotational movement of said arm driven by said motor.
  • FIGS. 1 to 3 illustrate the opening movement of a shutter 1 which is here a "French-style” window, the window itself being able to simply be “French-style” or “tilt-and-turn”, respectively in the window closed position handle locked ( figure 1 ), in the window closed position, handle unlocked ( figure 2 ) and in the window open position ( figure 3 ).
  • This window comprises a fixed frame, or "frame 2", as well as an opening 3 which is movable relative to the frame according to an axis of rotation Rv, which is in the case of the French opening, an axis of rotation vertical.
  • the window is positioned inclined in order to make it possible to better visualize the movement of the opening with respect to the frame, but in reality, the window is intended to be positioned vertically and the axis of rotation Rv is thus vertical.
  • the opening 3 comprises a locking-unlocking mechanism 30 which is located against the vertical edge of the opening which is furthest from the axis Rv.
  • This mechanism comprises at least one movable handle 31 and at least one movable pin 32 'which is mechanically linked to the movement of said handle by virtue of a linkage assembly known per se.
  • the handle 31 is movable between a locking position, in figure 1 , in which the sash 3 is held against the sash 2 and an unlocking position, by figure 2 , in which the sash 3 is free to open or close with respect to said frame 2.
  • This explanation is important because it is this movement (and its reverse) that a first device allows to achieve in an electrical manner; For this first device, it is not a question of electrically opening the sash (passage of the figure 2 to the figure 3 ), or closing the sash (reverse movement).
  • the window comprises inside a top horizontal cross member of the frame 2, a first device 10 for electrically locking and unlocking the window, illustrated in figures 4 to 9 .
  • This device 10 comprises a casing 11 which houses an electric motor 12 and further comprises an arm 15 which emerges from this casing 11 and which is movable in translation by virtue of said electric motor 12 in a general direction of translation D.
  • the arm 15 can be attached to the sash 3 and detachable from the sash thanks to a hook 16 located on the arm 15, this hook being able to push or pull depending on the direction general translation DG a pin 32 of the opening 3 which is mechanically linked to the movement of the handle 31 through the linkage assembly.
  • the arm 15 is attached to the pin 32 of the leaf 3 by means of the hook 16.
  • the figure 4 illustrates the operation of the device 10 when the electric unlocking-locking is implemented; this implementation takes place in six states, numbered 1 to 5 in dotted boxes, to then return to state 1.
  • the figure 5 illustrates the operation of the device 10 when the manual unlocking-locking is implemented; this implementation takes place in five states, numbered 1, 2 ', 3' and 4 'in dotted boxes, to then return to state 1.
  • State 1 thus corresponds to a traditional state where the handle 31 is in the extension of a vertical cross member of the leaf 3, as visible in figure 1 .
  • the sash In state 2 or 2 ', the sash is free to open: it opens under the effect of a wind directed from the outside to the inside and / or under the effect of minus a seal present, as usual, between the sash and the frame.
  • State 3 or 3 ′ illustrates the pin 32, free: the leaf 3 can be manipulated "à latress", manually, by rotation around the vertical axis Rv; in this state, the pin 32 can be more or less distant from the device 10, depending on the degree of opening of the leaf.
  • the arm 15 is stationary in states 1, 2 ', 3', 4 'and 1, as well as in the intermediate stages between these states, when the device 10 is not energized and is not electrically controlled.
  • the two figures 4 and 5 have in common the horizontal stroke c of the pin 32: this stroke corresponds to the horizontal displacement of this pin when unlocking the handle 31 (electrically from state 1 to state 2; manually from state 1 to 'state 2') and when locking the handle 31 (electrically from state 4 to state 5; manually from state 4 'to state 1).
  • the opening 17 of the hook 16 is thus intended to accommodate the pin 32 of the opening when unlocking-locking the handle 31.
  • This pawn 32 unlike the pawn 32 'visible in figure 3 , is not a pin which cooperates with a specific cavity formed in the frame of the frame 2; it only cooperates with the hook 16 of the arm 15.
  • State 1 of device 10 is illustrated in figure 6 .
  • the device is an idle state, window closed and locked, pending an unlocking instruction.
  • the tongue 20 is made for example from a stainless steel plate, deformed by stamping and then preferably has a thickness of less than 3 mm and in particular of the order of 1 mm.
  • the tongue 20 is linked to the arm 15, for example by crimping.
  • the arm 15 and its hook are preferably integral.
  • the arm 15 and its hook can be made from a single steel plate, but they are then thicker than the tongue because they must be more rigid than the tongue. The fact that the arm and the hook are flat makes it possible to limit the bulk.
  • the figure 5 clearly shows that during the manual unlocking-locking of the handle 31, the pin 32 does not cooperate with the hook 16 and the arm 15 is stationary.
  • the figures 4 and 5 show moreover that the part of the opening 17 which is not covered by the tongue 20 has a width corresponding to the stroke c of the pin 32 during the locking-unlocking of the handle 31, whether this locking-unlocking is electric as in figure 4 , or manual as in figure 5 .
  • This stroke can be for example 20 or 30 mm.
  • the tongue 20 has a length L 20 substantially identical to the length L 32 of the pin 32.
  • the pin 32 has a flared head 34 and the tongue 20 has a return 21 at an end opposite to its connection with said arm to retain said head 34.
  • Said return 21 has a V-shape open towards the bottom. casing 11 so that a wing of the V constitutes a bearing face which facilitates the lifting of the tongue 20 when the head 34 of the pin 32 bears against this wing.
  • the device 10 furthermore preferably comprises a presence sensor 23 for detecting the presence of said pin 32 under said tab 20 and triggering the electrical locking.
  • the tab 20 has a hole 22: the optical signal emitted by the presence sensor 23 can thus detect the presence of the pin 32 through this hole 22.
  • the hook 16 is located at one end of the arm 15; at the other end of the arm 15, the latter is mechanically linked to the electric motor 12 by a fastening element 18.
  • the electric motor 12 drives in rotation a worm 13 having an axis Ad and mechanically connected to the arm 15 by the fixing element 18, the arm 15 being movable in the general direction DG which is here parallel horizontally and vertically with the axis Ad.
  • the device 10 is particularly compact: the rotation of the electric motor 12 is first transmitted to a first motor pinion 12 ', arranged coaxially with the motor, then to a second motor pinion 12 "placed under the first, while being offset laterally, and finally to a screw pinion 25, which drives the worm 13 in rotation and thus allows the translation of the arm 15.
  • the electric motor 12 is placed above the worm 13 so that the device 10 is more compact; however, it is possible that the worm is in continuity with the axis of the electric motor, with a worm axis exactly aligned with that of the electric motor or offset by a few millimeters, or even that the electric motor is placed next to the worm, on the same horizontal plane or on a very close horizontal plane.
  • the electric motors used for electric locking-unlocking applications are generally motors which cannot withstand being driven in “no-load” rotation, that is to say without a power supply.
  • the figures 10a and 10b illustrate a disengagement system 24 which is located, mechanically, between the electric motor 12 and the worm 13 in order to allow free rotation of the worm 13 and therefore free movement of the arm 15 without rotation of the electric motor 12.
  • This release system 24 comprises a screw pinion 25 which is located along the axis Ab of the worm 13, mechanically secured to this worm, that is to say that any rotation of the worm causes the rotation of this screw pinion 25 and vice versa.
  • the screw pinion 25 is serrated in a centripetal manner and is mounted on a hub 26, coaxially with the latter; the screw pinion 25 can move longitudinally along the axis of the hub 26 but remains in mechanical engagement with the hub 26 thanks to a draft-undercut system: for example, the hub 26 can have on its outer face a flat and the screw pinion 25 a similar and reverse female shape allowing the latter to slide longitudinally along the hub 26, here inside the hub 26.
  • This support is notch because means are provided to enable this even more compressed position of the release spring 27 to be blocked-stopped.
  • the spring 27 is thus compressed between the proximal end of the worm 13 and the screw pinion 25, the screw pinion 25 comprising a ring 28, coaxial with said screw pinion 25 and of a diameter smaller than the pinion of screw 25, in order to allow screw pinion 25 to rotate without driving the second 12 "motor pinion.
  • a support washer 25 ' is provided: its diameter is larger than that of the ring 28 but smaller than that of the screw pinion 25 so as not to touch the second motor pinion 12 ".
  • the stopper support thus comprises here a pin 29, having the general shape of a U, with the wings of the U twisted transversely to the general direction of the U, said pin being movable in rotation about a horizontal axis located at the inside the casing 11 and the base of the U emerging from the casing 11 through a hole 14 located on the underside of the casing 11, said pin 29 having a shape enabling the ring 28 to be pressed in order to compress the release spring 27 and the hole 14 comprising a notch 14 'to enable this support to be blocked.
  • the pin touches on one side, or preferably on both sides, the bearing washer 25 ', without contact with the ring 28.
  • the pin 29 is accessible from the gap between the frame and the opening, in order to allow the worm screw of the electric motor to be disengaged by pressing on the support washer 25 'and to allow the worm to be able to disengage it. rotate without movement of the electric motor and without movement of the rest of the mechanical drive mechanically linked to the electric motor.
  • the release system 24 was presented above in connection with the opening "à la negligence", illustrated in figures 1 to 3 and the device 10 for electric unlocking-unlocking of the handle illustrated in figures 4 to 9
  • this release system is applicable to any type of electric unlocking-unlocking device using an electric motor and a worm.
  • the release system 24 is applicable in particular to a second device 10 ′ for double electric unlocking-unlocking and electric opening-closing of a “tilt-and-turn” or “oscillating” window, as presented below with reference to figures 11 to 31 and partially visible on the figures 22 to 31 .
  • the electric motor 12 drives in rotation a worm 13 having an axis Ad and mechanically connected to a mobile arm 45.
  • the arm 45 is attached to a pin 72 of the leaf 3, similar to the pin 32, thanks to a means 46 'for attaching-detaching an element (the pin 72) from the leaf 3 .
  • the figures 11 to 13 illustrate the swinging opening movement of a shutter 1 'which is here an “oscillating” or “tilt and turn” window, respectively in the closed window position with the locked handle, in the closed window position with the unlocked handle and in the open window position, in a manner similar to figures 1 to 3 for a window opening “à la negligence”.
  • a shutter 1 ' which is here an “oscillating” or “tilt and turn” window
  • the window of figures 11 to 13 is identical to that of figures 1 to 3 in that it comprises a fixed frame, or "frame 2", as well as an opening 3 which is movable relative to the frame; however, in the case of figures 11 to 13 , mobility is along an axis of rotation Rh, which is in the case of the oscillating opening, a horizontal axis of rotation.
  • the window is positioned inclined in order to better visualize the movement of the sash relative to the frame, but in reality, the window is intended to be positioned vertically and the axis of rotation Rh is thus horizontal.
  • the opening 3 also includes a locking-unlocking mechanism 30 which is located against a vertical edge of the opening.
  • This mechanism also comprises at least one movable handle 31 and at least one movable pin 32 ', which is mechanically linked to the movement of said handle by virtue of a linkage assembly known per se.
  • the handle 31 is movable between a locking position, in figure 1 , in which the sash 3 is held against the sash 2 and an unlocking position, in figure 12 , in which the sash 3 is free to open or close with respect to said frame 2.
  • the window comprises inside a top horizontal cross member of the frame 2, a device 10 'for electrically locking and unlocking the window and for opening and closing the window, illustrated in figures 14 to 31 .
  • This device 10 ' different from the device 10, comprises a casing 11', different from the casing 11 of the figures 6 to 9 , but which houses in a manner similar to the casing 11 an electric motor 12 and further comprises an arm 45 which comes out of this casing 11 'and one end of which is movable in translation with respect to the casing 11' thanks to the electric motor 12 according to a general direction of translation D.
  • the driving movement of the arm 45 by the motor will be described below.
  • the figure 14 illustrates the operation of the device 10 'when the electric unlocking-locking and the electric opening-closing are implemented; this implementation takes place in six states, numbered 11 to 15 in dotted boxes, to then return to state 11.
  • the figure 15 illustrates the operation of the device 10 'when the manual unlocking-locking and manual opening-closing are implemented; this implementation takes place in three states, numbered 11, 12 ', in dotted boxes, to then return to state 11.
  • State 11 thus corresponds to a traditional state where the handle 31 is in the extension of a vertical cross member of the leaf 3.
  • the sash is openable: it opens either under the effect of either the electric motor or manual traction on the sash.
  • the pin 72 is free: the leaf 3 can be manipulated manually, by rotation around the horizontal axis Rh; in this state, the pin 72 can be more or less distant from the device 10 ', depending on the degree of opening of the opening.
  • State 13 illustrates the pin 72 on the point of moving away from the frame under the effect of the thrust of a compass 44, illustrated at the bottom right of the figure 14 .
  • the device 10 ′ intervenes for the electric opening and closing of the leaf literally in addition to intervening for the electric unlocking-locking of the leaf vis-à-vis the frame.
  • the arm 45 is stationary in states 11, 12 ', and 11, as well as in the intermediate stages between these states.
  • the device 10 comprises a means 46' for attaching / detaching an element of the opening 3 which is particular.
  • the wing 51 has a lower face 53 which is bevelled towards an upper face 54 of the wing (that is to say which is not in the extension of the face bottom of the ring) so that a horizontal translation towards the rear of the latch 46 causes the rotation of said latch about its axis Av against the retaining force of the magnet 52, by sliding of the wing 51 on a stop 63 independent of the arm 45 and that the pin 72 can enter the hole 48 or be extracted therefrom.
  • This pawn 72 unlike the pawn 32 'visible in figure 13 , is not a pin which cooperates with a specific cavity formed in the frame of the frame 2; it only cooperates with the latch 46 of the arm 45.
  • the inner section of hole 48 must be larger than the outer section of pin 72 from the top of the pin to allow the pin to enter the hole.
  • the hole 48 may be circular and the pin 72 may be cylindrical and the inside diameter of the hole 48 is greater than the outside diameter of the pin.
  • the pin 72 has a flared head 74 in the form of a circular crown and the diameter D 74 of the head is less than the diameter D 48 of the hole 48.
  • D 48 may for example be 12 mm and D 74. may for example be 11 mm.
  • the pin 72 also comprises under its head 74 a foot 75, thinner than the head and a base 76 longer and wider than the head, which serves to fix the pin 72 to the linkage assembly of the opening.
  • the thickness of the trunk 75 corresponds substantially to the thickness of the arm 45.
  • the lock 46 is made for example from a machined steel plate and then preferably has an overall thickness of the order of 6 mm.
  • the arm 45 can be made from a steel plate, but it does not need to be as thick as the latch.
  • the latch 46 has two wings 51.51 'located on the other side of the ring 47 with respect to the axis of rotation Rv and which are separated from each other with a space empty between it, each wing 51, 51 'sliding on a stop 63, 63' independent of the arm 45 so that the pin 72 (and more precisely the head 74 of the pin) can enter the hole 48 or be extracted therefrom, as visible to figures 22 to 27 .
  • the friction forces between each wing and each stopper are halved and the reliability of the device 10 'is increased.
  • the upper face 50 and the lower face 49 of the ring 47 are bevelled, said ring being thicker near the axis of rotation Rv, in order to increase the mechanical strength of the lock.
  • the arm 45 ends under the latch 46 in a flat U-shape whose opening is at least as wide as the width of the hole 48 and whose branches of the U are located opposite the two magnets 52,52 'lock 46.
  • the housing 11 ' comprises at least one stop 63, 63', and preferably two stops 63, 63 'which has (each) a rounded shape downwards in order to allow the opening and closing of the latch 46 by sliding d 'a wing 51, 51' and preferably each wing 51, 51 '.
  • the cane 55 can be made from a steel plate and can be of the same thickness as the arm 45.
  • the fact that the arm 45 and the cane 55 are flat makes it possible to limit the bulk.
  • the end of the cane 55 which is movable in rotation along a vertical axis Rd relative to a point of the arm 45 is disposed on the arm 45 (and not below) and comprises a cylindrical roller 56 in free rotation and located on the cane 55.
  • the end of the rod 55 which is movable in horizontal translation with respect to said casing 11 'while being movable in rotation about a vertical axis of rotation Rc with respect to the casing 11' comprises a cylindrical roller 57 in free rotation located on said cane 55.
  • the guide 60 having a guide element is in the shape of a rounded L consists of a straight groove arranged in a general direction DG central longitudinal of the casing 11 'and of an angled groove opening onto a longitudinal edge of said casing 11' .
  • This bent groove can preferably be arranged opening to the left or to the right of the housing: in the application of the device 10 'to a tilt-and-turn window, this allows use that the vertical axis of rotation is to the right. or to the left of the sash.
  • the straight guide 61 is a groove made in the underside of the casing 11 ', this groove preferably extending in the general central longitudinal direction DG of the casing 11'.
  • the stop 63 has a rounded shape downwards in order to allow the opening and closing of a means 46 'for attaching / detaching an element (in this case a pin 72) from the opening 3 by sliding a wing 51, 51 ', as described below.
  • the device 10, 10 ' can be placed not in a top cross member of the frame, but in a low cross member.
  • the figures must be reversed to be seen as through a horizontal mirror.

  • '' electric opening-closing of this shutter with in addition on the one hand the possibility of manually operating the unlocking and opening when the opening is closed (as visible respectively in figures 5 and 15 ) and on the other hand the possibility of disengaging the device 10, 10 'in order to make it possible to manually close the opening and lock it manually (thanks to the release device illustrated in figures 10 and 10 ' ).
  • step 5 can become a step of electrically locking the pin 32 and maintaining this pin in the locked position.
  • the pin 32 is mechanically linked to the locking / unlocking mechanism 30 of the leaf 3, the leaf is blocked in the closed position.
  • step 5 becomes an "at rest" position in which the opening is electrically blocked and in which it is not possible to manually operate the opening as illustrated in figure 5 .
  • step 12 can become a step of electrically locking the pin 72 and maintaining this pin in the locked position.
  • the pin 72 is mechanically linked to the locking / unlocking mechanism 30 of the leaf 3
  • the leaf is blocked in the closed position.
  • step 12 becomes an “at rest” position in which the opening is electrically blocked and in which it is not possible to manually operate the opening as illustrated in figure 15 .
  • each of the devices 10, 10 ′ can be used in a so-called “simple” version in which it is simply an electric locking-unlocking device for a shutter and other means are provided for. opening-closing of the shutter (for example a spring system for the automatic closing of the opening).
  • Each of these simple electric locking-unlocking devices 10, 10 ′ can be installed in the frame of a shutter, the leaf 3 of which comprises a locking / unlocking mechanism 30; however, the presence of the handle 31 (what a person skilled in the art also calls “a crutch”) is then not essential: the locking / unlocking mechanism 30 is then not operable manually; it can only be operated electrically, by the simple electric locking-unlocking devices 10, 10 '.
  • step 5 is the step of electrically locking the pin 32 and maintaining this pin in the locked position.
  • the pin 32 is mechanically linked to the locking / unlocking mechanism 30 of the leaf 3
  • the leaf is blocked in the closed position.
  • the latch is located at the end of an arm similar to the arm 15 of the device 10.
  • the latch 46 then constitutes an alternative to the hook 16.
  • Each locking-unlocking device 10, 10 ′ uses a pin 32, 72 which is mechanically linked to the locking / unlocking mechanism 30 with linkage of the leaf 3 and which is driven by a locking-unlocking movement by horizontal translation or vertical.
