Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multi-part locking system for sliding doors and a sliding door system with such a locking system.
  • sliding doors are understood to mean those which are usually installed in office buildings, shops, pharmacies and other buildings with a high visitor frequency.
  • Such sliding doors are usually so-called hanging sliding doors, which are moved automatically and in which the load is absorbed via a corresponding mechanism in the upper area of the respective door system and which is not at all on the floor or only via a guide pin attached to the floor, which in a corresponding groove on the sliding door engages are guided.
  • the main closing edge is understood to mean the edge of the sliding door facing the opening closed by the sliding door, in accordance with the terminology customary in the trade.
  • the edge of the sliding door opposite this edge sometimes also called the counter closing edge, is referred to below as the secondary closing edge.
  • the locking devices and systems known for such sliding doors can be roughly distinguished according to whether they prevent the movement of a sliding door leaf by connecting it to the floor, connecting it to a fixed or counter-rotating sliding door leaf, the travel path of the Lock the sliding door leaf or block the drive of the sliding door leaf. So it is known to secure sliding doors that have a floor guide by inserting a rod into the floor guide against easy sliding. Such a blocking is not actually a locking of the door, since no key is necessary to remove the object blocking the travel path. In addition, the door is only secured in one dimension, namely against being pushed open.
  • Floor locks are known for locking sliding doors, in which a bolt or bolt can be inserted into a corresponding recess in the floor by means of a key. Such floor locks can secure a sliding door in two dimensions, namely against pushing in or pulling out and against being pushed open. However, they do not prevent the door from being pried open. Such locks are usually arranged in the area of the main closing edge of a sliding door leaf. The so-called secondary closing edge is not secured with such floor locks.
  • Bolts that can engage in receptacles in special floor guides are from so-called lift and slide doors as in AT 248277 .
  • Lift-and-slide doors stand on lowerable castors and have an all-round frame, in which complicated lever-roller mechanisms are integrated, around the usually very heavy doors that are typically used in private areas e.g. can be used for patio doors and which are usually at least double-glazed so that they can be lowered in a closed position so that the frame rests on a corresponding floor profile.
  • lift-and-slide doors With lift-and-slide doors, the bottom profile prevents it from being pushed in or pulled out, but the profile represents a tripping edge and a dirt trap, so that lift-and-slide doors are not suitable for automatically opening and closing sliding-door systems such as the ones in question here, in which the sliding doors have many, not infrequently a few, every day moved back and forth a hundred or a thousand times.
  • hook-and-bolt locks are also known from the office furniture and delivery vehicle sector, for example from cupboards with roller shutter doors and from US 2014/0041421 A1 , which describes a roller shutter door for the hold of a vehicle.
  • roller shutter doors depending on the opening direction, the roller shutter is guided up and down or left and right in corresponding guide profiles that already prevent the roller shutter from being pushed in or pulled out and levered out transversely to the closing direction, so that the respective lock, which is generally in the Is placed in the middle of the main closing edge, the roller shutter then only has to secure against being pushed open.
  • the known locking systems only secure sliding doors of the type in question here against movement in one or a maximum of two dimensions. If you want to secure the movement of a sliding door leaf in all three possible directions, i.e. against being pushed open (lateral movement), being pulled out or pushed in (moving forwards or backwards) and being pried open (moving upwards), different locking systems have to be combined with each other so far which is not only costly, but also usually means that different locking systems have to be operated one after the other, which is cumbersome for the user.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a locking system by means of which a sliding door leaf can be reliably and easily secured in all three dimensions mentioned.
  • the invention is also based on the object of a sliding door system with a corresponding To specify the locking system.
  • the locking system should be able to be retrofitted to existing sliding door systems in a simple manner without complicated interventions such as the construction of a separate frame or even the shortening of existing sliding door leaves being necessary.
  • the invention has the advantage of inexpensively securing a sliding door leaf, in particular a hanging sliding door leaf, against being pushed open, pried open and pushed in or pulled out, the corresponding closing means being able to be moved from one location with a single movement, e.g. by turning a key.
  • the locking system according to the invention can also be retrofitted to existing sliding door systems in a simple and cost-effective manner and comprises a special element with which the secondary closing edge can also be reliably secured against being pulled out or pressed on.
  • FIG. 1 to 3 is shown in its entirety with 10 designated sliding door system highly schematized, wherein in the Figures 1 and 2 additionally the floor F of a building on which the sliding door system is mounted is shown in a sectional view.
  • Fig. 4 shows details of the sliding door system and in particular the multi-part locking system according to the invention on an enlarged scale.
  • the sliding door system 10 comprises a sliding door leaf 12, only the lower section of which is shown here and which is guided, in particular suspended, on its upper edge (not shown) in a manner known per se.
  • a drive for automatically moving the sliding door leaf 12 between an open and a closed position is typically also provided on this upper side.
  • the opening direction is indicated by the arrow R.
  • the sliding door leaf 12 is shown in the closed position, in which position it closes a passage by the main closing edge 14 of the sliding door leaf 12 against a movable or stationary element, not shown here, for example a door leaf, a door frame or a counter-moving element fixed element of a sliding door system is present. If it is a door wing that can be moved in opposite directions, this can also be secured in three dimensions, like the door wing 12, in the manner described below, that is to say against being pulled out, pushed in, pushed on and pried open.
  • a lock housing 16 is attached in the area of the lower edge thereof, which in this exemplary embodiment extends over practically the entire width of the door leaf 12.
  • the housing should have at least the width of the travel path of the door leaf 12.
  • a separate counter element can be provided on the same side of the door leaf 12 on which the lock housing 16 is also arranged in the region of the lower edge of the door leaf.
  • the lock housing 16 is a separate component and is detachably or non-releasably attached to the door leaf 12, but in any case in such a way that it cannot be easily removed from the door leaf 12 by unauthorized persons.
  • a hook lock with a locking hook 20 is accommodated in the lock housing 16 near the main closing edge of the door leaf 12, the lock in this exemplary embodiment being able to be actuated with a conventional locking cylinder 22 by means of a key 24 in order to move the locking hook 20 from an opening to a closed position, ie from a position in which the locking hook 20 is retracted into the lock housing 16 such that it does not hinder a movement of the sliding door leaf 12, and to move into a position in which it protrudes from the lock housing 16 through a recess in a base locking plate 26 and the Partially encompasses the bottom closing plate, as in particular in Fig. 4 clearly visible.
  • the bottom locking plate 26 is anchored in a manner known per se by means of suitable fastening means 28 on the floor F of a building or another object in which the sliding door is arranged, in such a way that it cannot be removed by unauthorized persons in any case when the sliding door is closed.
  • the bottom locking plate 26 is also covered by the lock housing 16 when the sliding door is closed, so that, like the locking hook 20, it is practically inaccessible from the outside.
  • the base locking plate 26 partially covers a recess 30 in the base F and itself has a recess for the locking hook 20, not shown here, which is dimensioned and designed in such a way that the locking hook can penetrate it and then encompass part of the base locking plate 26, and which is arranged near the main closing edge of the sliding door leaf, so that the sliding door in the region of the main closing edge not only prevents being pushed open, pulled out and pushed in, but is also secured against prying open, i.e. movements essentially perpendicular to the floor.
  • the locking hook 20 and the bottom locking plate 26 are arranged in this embodiment near the main closing edge 14.
  • the bottom closing plate 26 Since the bottom closing plate 26 only has to have a small thickness in order to ensure sufficient stability, the bottom plate 26 can, as in the schematic Figures 1 and 2 indicated, simply be placed on the floor F. Of course, it can also be inserted flush into the floor so that there is no stumbling edge.
  • the recess in the bottom locking plate 26 can be covered with a spring-loaded flap, for example, so that when the sliding door is open, no dirt can penetrate through the recess in the bottom plate into the recess 30 in the floor, but the locking hook 20 can push the flap slightly aside, if the locking system is to be locked.
  • flaps can also be provided for covering corresponding recesses in the base locking plates, which are moved automatically.
  • the so-called secondary closing edge 32 i.e. the side of the sliding door leaf 12 opposite the main closing edge 14
  • the already mentioned holding element 18 is arranged, which in this embodiment is anchored to the floor F in a manner known per se, but in other sliding door systems also on fixed parts the door system itself can be attached.
  • the holding element 18 engages partially around the lock housing 16 and thus advantageously prevents the sliding door leaf 12 from being pried open in the region of the secondary closing edge 32 or being pressed in in the direction of the holding element 18.
  • the lock housing extends in the exemplary embodiment shown over practically the entire width of the door leaf 12.
  • a separate counter element can be provided in the region of the lower edge of the door leaf 12 and how the lock housing is attached so that it cannot be easily removed by unauthorized persons, such a counter element then being intended to cooperate with the holding element 18 in order to prevent prying it open.
  • the locking system can be operated from both main sides of a sliding door leaf, for which purpose the sliding door leaf must have a corresponding recess in order to have access to one of the side of the sliding door leaf facing away from the lock housing to enable at least one locking cylinder actuating locking hook, provided, of course, manual actuation of the locking hook is provided at all.
  • the invention allows the locking hook to be actuated in a manner that is optimally adapted to the respective application, that is to say, for example, manually by means of a key and a locking cylinder or automatically by means of electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic drives.
  • the sliding door system or the locking system according to the invention can advantageously be equipped with means that generate and output a signal representative of the locking hook's closed position.
  • This signal can be used, for example, for a to control the visual display of the locking status or to report a locking control to a higher-level control unit that has sent a locking command to the locking system.
  • numerous modifications and further developments are possible which relate, for example, to the number and design of the locking hooks and the bottom locking plate. It can thus be provided that, instead of a single locking hook, a plurality of locking hooks arranged in series can be actuated jointly or separately and can engage in corresponding recesses in one or more base locking plates.
  • the invention advantageously allows the person skilled in the art to choose the optimal design for the respective application. From the above description it is also clear to the person skilled in the art that the invention can advantageously be used not only in new sliding door systems, but also for retrofitting existing sliding door systems in a simple and cost-effective manner, the hook lock according to the invention moving the sliding door in together with the locking plate ensures three dimensions.
  • An embodiment according to the invention results with the provided holding element, which can cooperate with the lock housing in order to also secure the secondary closing edge of the sliding door.
  • the lock housing not only has a passive function to cover the hook lock, but also an active function to secure the sliding door.
