Claims (14)
- Hairdressing appliance (1) for shaping the hair comprising:- first and second jaws (2, 3) arranged opposite each other,- a first processing surface (4) carried by the first jaw (2) and a second processing surface (5) carried by the second jaw (3), the surfaces (4, 5) being intended to grip a lock of hair, at least one of the surfaces (4, 5) being intended to be heated,- the jaws being connected so as to move from an open position to a closed position,- magnetic means (14, 18) for detecting the movement to open position and/or the movement to closed position comprising a magnetic switch (14, 18),- a control unit (13) programmed to receive, from the magnetic detection means (14,18), a signal representing a movement, said appliance comprising fluid vaporisation means (7), the control unit (13) being programmed to control, in response to said signal, the fluid vaporisation means (7), the control unit orders the heating or increases the heating of the vaporisation means (7) when the magnetic means detect the closed position, the magnetic detection means (14, 18) comprise a magnetic reed switch (14) arranged in the first jaw (2), a magnet (18) arranged in the second jaw (3) so that the magnet (18) is active on the switch (14) in only one of the two positions, the magnetic reed switch (14) and the magnet (18) being positioned in the middle of each jaw of the appliance.
- Appliance according to claim 1, wherein the magnetic detection means (14, 18) are means able to detect only an open position and a closed position.
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, comprising a tank (19) of fluid in fluidic communication with the vaporisation means (7), means (6) for adjusting the flow of this fluid, and wherein the control unit (13) controls the means (6) for adjusting the flow of this fluid so that, on detection of the signal representing a movement, the fluid flow varies towards the vaporisation means (7).

- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first (4) and second (5) hair processing surfaces are flat or curved or wavy complementary surfaces which, in the closed position of the appliance, substantially correspond with each other in order to smooth, curl or crimp the hair.
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the control unit (13) is programmed, on movement to the closed position, to actuate a component, and, on movement to the open position, to stop this component.
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first jaw (2) and the second jaw (3) are connected by a hinge-type joint (20) and wherein the maximum opening angle (α) of the two jaws is between 5° and 60°, or even between 10° and 20°, and preferably approximately equal to 15°.
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the vaporisation means (7) comprise at least one vaporisation chamber (7') and a heating element (8) of the chamber (7').
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the heating means (8) of at least one processing surface (4, 5) comprise a resistor or a thermistor in direct or indirect contact with one of the walls of the vaporisation chamber (7').
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the temperature detection means (10) comprise a thermistor, preferably a Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor.
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the appliance comprises ion emitting means (11).
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the appliance comprises fluid blocking means (12) which preferably comprise at least one valve, check valve or safety valve.
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims comprising two main parts: the first part being a portable appliance (100) comprising two jaws (2, 3), the control unit (13), the vaporisation means (7), the magnetic detection means (14, 18) and the second part being a remote base (1000) of the portable appliance comprising fluid flow adjustment means (6) and a tank (19), at least one fluid communication cord (21) being provided between the base (100) and the portable appliance (1000).
- Appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first jaw (2) comprises the control unit (13), a tank (19), fluid flow adjustment means (6), vaporisation means (7), magnetic detection means (14, 18).
