- Appliance according to the previous claim, wherein the peristaltic pump (6) comprises at least one fluid pipe (62) and one clamping member (61) for clamping the pipe.
- Appliance according to one of the previous claims, wherein the peristaltic pump (6) comprises a single clamping member (61), preferably arranged with a fluid pipe (62) forming a complete loop.
- Appliance according to one of the previous claims, wherein the peristaltic pump (6) is a pump having a single roller (65).
- Appliance according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the peristaltic pump (6) is a pump having an eccentric (66).
- Appliance according to one of the previous claims, comprising a first and a second jaw (2, 3) positioned facing each other, the first treatment surface (4) being borne by the first jaw (2), a second treatment surface (5) being borne by the second jaw (3), the jaws being connected such that they pass from an open position to a closed position wherein the surfaces (4, 5) clamp a lock of hair.
- Appliance according to one of the previous claims, comprising heating means (8, 9) for heating at least one treatment surface (4, 5).
- Appliance according to claim 6, comprising two portions: the first portion being a mobile appliance (100) comprising the two jaws (2, 3), the control unit (13) and the vaporising means (7), and the second portion being a remote base (1000) of the mobile appliance (100) comprising the peristaltic pump (6) and a fluid tank (19), at least one fluid communication cord (21) being provided between the base (1000) and the mobile appliance (100).
- Appliance according to the previous claim, wherein the remote base (1000) comprises a pipe that is bent at the outlet of the pump (6) ensuring the fluid communication to the mobile device.
- Appliance according to either claim 6 or claim 7, wherein the first jaw (2) comprises the control unit (13), a fluid tank (19), the peristaltic pump (6), fluid vaporising means (7) and the steam distribution means (7', 7").
- Appliance according to one of claims 8 to 10, comprising detection means (14, 18) for detecting the passage into the open position and/or the passage into the closed position, and the control unit is programmed to receive a signal from the detection means (14, 18) and to control, in response to the signal, at least the peristaltic pump (6).
- Appliance according to the previous claim, wherein the detection means (14, 18) for detecting the passage into the open position and/or the passage into the closed position are magnetic detection means (14, 18).
- Appliance according to one of the previous claims, comprising temperature detection means (10) for measuring a value representing the temperature of the vaporising means (7) and wherein the control unit is programmed to receive a signal from the temperature detection means (10) and to control, in response to the signal, at least the peristaltic pump (6).
- Appliance according to one of claims 6 to 13, wherein the first hair treatment surface (4) and the second hair treatment surface (5) are complementing flat, curved or wavy surfaces which, in the closed position of the appliance, substantially correspond with each other to straighten, curl or crimp the hair.
