Gerät nach Anspruch 6, das zwei Teile umfasst: wobei es sich beim ersten Teil um ein tragbares Gerät (100) handelt, das die zwei Backen (2,3), die Steuereinheit (13), Verdampfungsmittel (7) umfasst, und es sich beim zweiten Teil um eine von dem tragbaren Gerät (100) abgesetzte Basis (1000) handelt, die die Peristaltikpumpe (6) und einen Fluidtank (19) umfasst, wobei zumindest ein Fluidkommunikationsschlauch (21) zwischen der Basis (1000) und dem tragbaren Gerät (100) vorgesehen ist.
  9. Gerät nach dem vorstehenden Anspruch, wobei die abgesetzte Basis (1000) am Ausgang der Pumpe (6) eine gebogene Leitung umfasst, die die Herstellung der Fluidkommunikation zum tragbaren Gerät sicherstellt.
  10. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 7, wobei die erste Backe (2) die Steuereinheit (13), einen Fluidtank (19), die Peristaltikpumpe (6), Mittel zum Verdampfen des Fluids (7) und die Mittel zum Abgeben des Dampfes (7', 7") umfasst.
  11. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 10, das Mittel zum Erfassen (14, 18) des Übergangs in die Öffnungsstellung und/oder des Übergangs in die Schließstellung umfasst, und wobei die Steuereinheit so programmiert ist, dass sie von den Erfassungsmitteln (14, 18) ein Signal empfängt und in Reaktion auf das Signal zumindest die Peristaltikpumpe (6) ansteuert.
  12. Gerät nach dem vorstehenden Anspruch, wobei es sich bei den Mitteln zum Erfassen (14, 18) des Übergangs in die Öffnungsstellung und/oder des Übergangs in die Schließstellung um magnetische Erfassungsmittel (14, 18) handelt.
  13. Gerät nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, das Temperaturerfassungsmittel (10) umfasst, um einen Wert zu messen, der die Temperatur der Verdampfungsmittel (7) repräsentiert, und wobei die Steuereinheit so programmiert ist, dass sie von den Temperaturerfassungsmitteln (10) ein Signal empfängt und in Reaktion auf das Signal zumindest die Peristaltikpumpe (6) ansteuert.
  14. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 13, wobei es sich bei der ersten (4) und der zweiten Haarbehandlungsfläche (5) um komplementäre flache oder gebogene oder gewellte Flächen handelt, die in der geschlossenen Stellung des Geräts im Wesentlichen in Übereinstimmung kommen, um die Haare zu glätten, zu locken oder zu kreppen.
