Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a hair styling or shaping apparatus comprising a handle connected to a support part and a heating part between which a lock of hair can be inserted, more particularly an appliance comprising a device provided for exerting pressure. on the lock of hair to be treated.
  • Most hair shaping apparatus such as hair straighteners, curling irons, embossing, comprise a handle supporting two mechanical elements of which at least one is heated, the other being intended to bring the hair in contact with the first, in particular by moving from an open position allowing the insertion of the hair to a closed position for their contact with the heating part.
  • the passage from the open position to the closing position is done manually by pressing a lever for opening a tongue of pressure of the hair or by pressing two articulated arms of the apparatus towards each other to bring the heating part in contact with the hair.
  • a solution has been proposed in the document JP2005-087629 which describes a smoothing iron having two articulated arms, intended to move from the open state to the closed state and vice versa, each arm comprising an electric heating element mounted in thermal contact with a smoothing plate.
  • the apparatus also comprises two magnetic locks each composed of a magnet and a metal part attracted by the magnet vis-à-vis to hold the device in the closed position after the introduction of a lock of hair between the smoothing plates.
  • An unlocking device is provided elsewhere to remove the plates at the end of treatment and to introduce a new wick to treat.
  • the problem with this apparatus is that, by pivoting its arms about an axis of rotation away from the treatment portion, it does not provide a uniform contact pressure on the hair.
  • its opening requires an additional opening device, which complicates the construction of the device and makes handling less easy.
  • the documents US4479047 and FR2600509 describe hair shaping apparatus introduced between a heating portion and a bearing portion, the apparatus being closed at rest.
  • these devices use opening control devices which are not only complex, but which involve additional manipulation of the control device. More particularly in the document apparatus FR2600509 it is necessary first to move longitudinally sliding a spring-mounted ring in order to release the pivoting branches transversely to open a hair insertion gap between the treatment portions.
  • the object of the present invention is to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a hair styling device capable of achieving good hair shaping, uniform and durable, while being fast and easy to use in operation.
  • Another object of the invention is an effective hairdressing apparatus while being able to reduce the treatment time of the hair.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a hairstyling device of reduced size, adapted to adapt to the thickness of the wick to be treated, while being reliable in operation and easy to handle.
  • Another object of the invention is a hairdressing appliance which is efficient, of simplified structure, compact and can be industrialized for a low cost.
  • a hairdressing apparatus comprising at least one heating part coming into contact with the hair by means of a bearing part facing each other, at least one of the parts being mounted floating using suspension means, that the parts are held together in a fixed frame by being pushed towards each other at rest and that the apparatus comprises means for automatically introducing the hair between the heating part and the support part.
  • Such a hairdressing apparatus already makes it possible to heat-treat the hair present between a heating part and a bearing part (these parts forming the means for shaping the hair), the bearing part bringing them into contact with the heating part to obtain their shaping.
  • Each heating and support portion is mounted on one of the arms or jaws of the housing of the apparatus, the apparatus generally comprising two arms, or, alternatively, it may comprise several heating parts cooperating with a part of support, for example of the three-armed clamp type.
  • At least the heating part or the support part are mounted floating relative to the respective arm or jaw of the housing of the apparatus in order to be able to deviate more from at least one of the other and to adapt to different thicknesses hair strand and / or variations in thickness of a wick, and this over the entire useful length of the treatment parts.
  • floating assembly of a portion relative to its housing arm or with respect to a processing part vis-à-vis it includes a mounting with play and possibility of displacement, under the thrust of return means (for example elastic, magnetic, etc.) when the part is subjected to a force, in a direction opposite to that on which the effort is exerted. In this case, the force being exerted by the lock of hair, the treatment parts will move apart to compensate for the thickness of the bit introduced.
  • Such a floating assembly leaves one or more degrees of freedom to the support portion, the heating portion or both, when both are floating.
  • the heating and support portions are held together in a fixed frame in the closed position at rest, the apparatus comprising means for automatically introducing the hair between these treatment parts.
  • the floating mounted portion is pushed by the force of the suspension means towards the portion facing each other, the facing parts being mounted so that they touch each other at their bearing surfaces. contact with the hair, even with a slight clearance (of about 1 mm) at these surfaces of contact with the hair, even in the absence of hair.
  • automatic introduction of the hair between the treatment parts comprises a flared groove at the front end of the treatment parts by which one can introduce a lock of hair by guiding it with one hand so that the The thickness of the wick spreads the treatment parts facing each other.
  • the user easily inserts the hair inside the apparatus, by directing them by means of the automatic introduction means between the treatment parts, one of the treatment parts or the two deviating then to let in the lock of hair, while keeping it in contact with the treatment part vis-à-vis.
  • the introduction of the hair into the device is therefore done naturally, the parts of treatment deviate by adapting to the thickness of the wick and the treatment is carried out without the user having to exert the slightest effort of pressure on the treatment parts or their supports, the latter simply having to slide naturally the device along the seized wick, from the root and to the tip of the hair.
  • Such a device is easy to use and intuitive, it allows to perform a treatment without effort, with more freedom for the person using it no longer having to press to maintain pressure on the hair, and, at the same time, it is able to absorb the variability in thickness of the lock of hair introduced inside the floating shaping means and to transmit fully calories to the lock of hair to be treated, regardless of its variable thickness.
  • Such a device therefore exerts a continuous and constant pressure on a lock of hair, regardless of the person using it. The result is a faster hair shaping (there is no need to return to the untreated parts correctly during the first pass), uniform in appearance and durable over time.
  • said frame comprises at least two substantially parallel arms connected together at one of their ends, the heating portion and / or that of support being mounted floating in translation in a direction transverse to that of the longitudinal axis of the frame .
  • Such a U-shaped frame configuration already allows easy introduction of the hair with the open part of the U, while supporting the shaping parts each on one of the parallel branches of the U, being connected together at their base , all in a small footprint and for a frame with good rigidity.
  • This frame can also support the housing that comes dressed externally or it can be at the same time the housing of the device.
  • this frame may have a plurality of parallel arms, for example three or four, to thereby constitute several heating or support surfaces, which may for example be intended for the simultaneous treatment of several wicks.
  • the means for introducing the hair are formed in the extension of the heating portion and / or the support portion.
  • introduction means can then be made in the form of an insertion surface of the hair flaring outwardly in a circular arc, chamfered or chamfered, preferably an arcuate or rounded chamfer, or even from a portion of cylinder and having substantially the same width as the processing surface with which it cooperates.
  • said frame is connected to a handle having a longitudinal axis and the means for introducing the hair are arranged at the opposite end of the handle, on either side of its longitudinal axis.
  • This elongated device configuration with a handle in the extension of the support frame of the treatment parts is more ergonomic and allows easy handling of the device.
  • the arrangement of the means for introducing the hair symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the apparatus allows an even easier, almost automatic insertion of the hair inside the treatment parts, the hair can thus be seized closer to their roots.
  • This arrangement is more particularly suitable for the embodiment variant wherein the heating portion and the support portion are mounted floating relative to the fixed frame.
  • said suspension means are related to the force of a magnetic field.
  • the support portion comprises at least one permanent magnet and the heating portion is made at least partly of a magnetic material.
  • the heating part is mounted with clearance and possibility of displacement in the direction of the support plate to adapt to the thickness of the wick introduced between the two.
  • the heating portion may be provided with magnets and the support portion be made of a magnetic material and mounted with the possibility of displacement relative to the first.
  • magnetic material is understood a material which can be attracted by a magnet, comparable to iron or ferromagnetic type, for example a ferrous alloy, nickel-based or cobalt-based.
  • a hairdressing apparatus made according to this mode has a simplified structure and is a very economical embodiment, one or other of the parts, or both can be mounted with the possibility of displacement.
  • the support portion comprises at least a first permanent magnet cooperating with a second permanent magnet vis-à-vis the heating portion mounted in phase opposition with the first.
  • the heating part is mounted with play in its housing provided inside its housing and moves towards the support part when the distance between the Magnets facing each other allows the magnetic field to exert its force, although in a variant the other part could be mounted with play, or each of the parts could be mounted floating relative to its housing.
  • the use of magnets vis-à-vis allows to exert significant efforts on the hair, the value of the effort can also be adjusted by adjusting the spacing between the magnets.
  • Such a magnet construction vis-à-vis in phase opposition (it is understood that the opposite poles face each other) makes it possible to create a magnetic field by attraction between the shaping means, which makes it possible to bring into contact and / or to maintain the shaping means against each other.
  • the support part or the heating part comprise a first permanent magnet cooperating with a second permanent magnet vis-à-vis belonging to the frame, the second permanent magnet being mounted in phase with the first.
  • the part comprising the magnets is floated by the magnets in phase of the housing frame.
  • the magnetic field closes inside the housing of the apparatus, without influencing the treatment zone coming into contact with the hair.
  • the magnets thus arranged are away from the treatment surfaces, so less subject to temperature, which improves their service life.
  • said suspension means are elastic means.
  • This construction has the advantage of being more economical, the elastic means being helicoidal springs, sheet, torsion, etc., parts of a deformable material, for example rubber pads, etc.
  • said suspension means are arranged substantially at each end of the support portion or the heating portion.
  • the support portion is heated.
  • the support portion or the heating portion has a hair treatment surface of flat or corrugated shape.
  • Such an apparatus is more particularly intended for smoothing the hair, the hair then being able to be smoothed between a flat treatment surface and a left surface or a slice of the support surface or between two flat treatment surfaces, that of the heating part. and that of the bearing surface.
  • one of the treatment surfaces is corrugated and cooperates with a treatment surface facing one another having a complementary shape so as to constrain the hair during the passage between these two treatment surfaces.
  • means for guiding the heating part or the support part are arranged in a median plane perpendicular to the plane of the hair treatment surface or on either side of this plane.
  • Such guiding means may be means in translation or in rotation and, when they are arranged in a median plane of the treatment surface or on either side of this median plane, they ensure the application of a uniform effort on the entire treatment surface and, therefore, the hair to be treated.
  • the heating portion has a hair treatment surface having a shape of revolution and the bearing portion has a treatment plate conforming to the shape of the heating portion.
  • Such a form of revolution may be a cylinder or a cone, the treatment surface then making it possible to make loops by winding the hair around the axis of the treatment surface, while keeping them against this surface by the surface of support.
  • the heating portion is in contact with two complementary shaped support portions located on either side of its longitudinal axis.
  • the apparatus comprises radial guide means of the support portion.
  • the support portion being mounted floating, its radial guide relative to the heating portion cylindrical or conical vis-à-vis allows the application of a uniform pressure on the wick to be treated and, therefore, a better contact with the heating surface of winding hair, over the entire length of the latter.
  • This radial guide may be a guide in rotation or in translation.
  • the apparatus comprises control means for sending steam at least one of the heating or support portions.
  • the apparatus therefore comprises means for controlling the arrival of steam at the level of the hair lying between the parts: heating and support.
  • a fixed or closed frame apparatus can advantageously be used to control the production of steam then sent to the hair to perform their shaping with the aid of steam, this thanks to the fact that no longer having to exercise pressing the arms of the housing to keep in contact the treatment parts, the user can then easily operate a control button to send steam towards the hair.
  • control means act on steam generating means of the apparatus comprising a water reservoir connected by a conduit to a vaporization chamber opening through steam outlet openings at the surface of treatment of the heating part.
  • the steam production means could have been external to the device and connected to the latter by a flexible conduit, it is however preferred, for more compactness integrate them to the device and control the handle.
  • the apparatus of the invention comprises means for adjusting the force of the suspension means.
  • the adjustment means may be mechanical means, for example using a set screw or cams which move the magnet within its housing, or which compress the elastic means, and thus allowing the distance between the treatment parts to be varied. in vis-à-vis. In one of their limit positions, the adjustment means may constitute disengaging means ensuring the opening of the plates normally in contact.

  • the arcuate chamfers 35 then slide the wick towards the inside of the appliance, the wick being inserted automatically between the parts: heating 3 and support 2 of the appliance.
  • the support portion 2 deviates by adapting to the thickness of the wick and the variation of this wick along the length of its treatment surface.
  • the user can at this moment press on the flexible membrane 52 to control the arrival of water in the vaporization chamber 55 (or alternatively press the control button of a pump that sends the water into the chamber of steam), its gesture being facilitated because it no longer has to exert pressure on the housing to close the device.
  • the user then moves the device along the lock of hair, from the root to the tip of the hair and this without having to exert effort during the smoothing.
  • the closed box apparatus and fixed frame thus allows the support portions 2 and heating 3 to be held in contact by the force of the magnetic field while automatically adapting to the thickness of the treated lock.
  • the magnetic field can be achieved by replacing the permanent magnets with an electromagnet.
