Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a beverage bottle and a closure for a beverage bottle.
  • the invention relates to a method for removing liquids from beverage bottles as well as to a manufacturing method for such a beverage bottle.
  • large containers or large containers have been known from the prior art which are used, for example, in restaurants or dispensers.
  • Containers for use in these dispensers are for example stretch blown, filled and sealed from plastic preforms.
  • Such a container is for example off GB 2 446 383 A known. From the internal state of the art of the Applicant, it is also known that the containers are first closed and only then filled. In these cases, filling takes place through the closure. Furthermore, containers are known which are used several times in a reusable process. In addition, metal containers are usually used in the prior art. The containers are usually provided with closures with a valve function, with so-called fittings. These fittings have a liquid valve, which serves for dispensing liquid and / or for filling the container. In addition, these have Occlusions partly also a gas valve, through which in the case of filling through the closure filling functions can be fulfilled, such as a biasing, an inert gas purging or relieving. In addition, these valves can also be used to supply a pressure medium to assist the dispensing of the liquid present in the container. Likewise, a pressure relief after a discharge operation of the container, for example a tapping operation can be performed by these valves.
  • valve functions are always arranged in the prior art within the container mouth, since a fluid connection between a beverage discharge line and the container interior is to be established.
  • the mostly cylindrical neck region of the container has a mouth edge for sealing against a top surface of the closure and, for example, external latching elements in order to be able to fix the closure to a neck region of the container.
  • the container often has one or more support rings on which the container can be traded or transported in a filling plant.
  • internal or external threads can be provided to fix a closure to the container.
  • the neck area usually has a correspondingly large diameter up to 60 mm and more. Accordingly, a lot of material, that is in particular PET, is wasted in this neck area. Accordingly, the fittings also have a large diameter along with further material expenditure.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to reduce the material consumption in the production of such containers or container closures. This object is achieved by the subject matters of the independent claims.
  • An inventive container closure for liquid containers has a receiving area to receive a mouth portion of the liquid container. Furthermore, the container closure on a fastening means to lock the container closure to the container, as well as a covering means to completely cover a mouth opening of the liquid container. It is in this cover in a state locked to the container of the container closure, a first opening can be introduced, via which the liquid container a first fluid can be removed and / or supplied, this opening is at least partially within the mouth cross-section of the mouth of the liquid container.
  • the container closure in particular in a state arranged on the container or mouth
  • a desired opening section located outside the mouth or the mouth cross section of the container, by means of which a (second) flow connection with the inner volume of the liquid container at which the Container lock is locked, can be produced.
  • a fluid that is to say in particular a liquid or preferably a gas, can be communicated between the interior of the container and the environment.
  • the container closure itself has two desired opening points, via which two preferably (at least in sections) separate flow paths can be produced with the container.
  • one of these openings lies within the mouth cross section of the container and the other outside the mouth cross section.
  • said second opening is located in a radial direction with respect to a longitudinal direction of the container outside said mouth cross-section.
  • the container closure is made of a plastic.
  • the first opening lies completely within the mouth cross-section of the mouth.
  • a liquid is removed from the container via this first opening.
  • a gas for example for pressure loading, to be supplied to the container via the first opening.
  • both openings serve for fluid communication, which may be both a liquid and a gas.
  • an opening for a gas communication and the other opening for a liquid communication are provided.
  • the neck region can have a substantially smaller diameter, for example in a region of 28 mm.
  • the recess of the gas outlet holes (in the container) which may be located for example in the mouth area, further material saved.
  • the invention can be advantageously used for plastic disposable kegs without liners. However, it can also be used in containers made of other materials, such as plastics, metals and the like, wherein the containers or closures may also have so-called liners. In addition, the invention could also be used in reusable containers.
  • the liquid can be removed from the container without compressing the container itself.
  • the container closure has a line which adjoins at least one opening and can be guided into the interior of the container.
  • this line is arranged downstream of the first opening or the first desired opening point, which lies within the mouth cross-section. It is possible that such a conduit, hereinafter also referred to as a riser, is guided to the bottom of the container. In this way, the container can be substantially completely emptied even if it is not compressed becomes. It is possible that this line is flexible, for example, as a flexible hose, which connects to the respective opening.
  • the locking means on a rear gripping device which engages behind a part of the container for locking the container closure.
  • a support ring of the container can be engaged behind by the locking means.
  • the support ring can be intervened in a groove on the container.
  • the container closure has a circumferential wall, which is designed to completely circulate in a state of the container closure locked to the container with respect to the mouth of the container.
  • the locking means is formed circumferentially.
  • the locking means cooperates with an external thread of the container in order to arrange the container closure on the container.
  • the second desired opening section is spaced from the first opening.
  • both the first opening (or a first target opening section) and the second target opening section are arranged in the said covering means.
  • these are not arranged in merge, but separated by a section of material. In this way it can be achieved that an opening is completely outside the mouth of the container and the other opening completely within the mouth.
  • the covering means is designed as a covering surface projecting beyond the mouth of the liquid container.
  • the second desired opening section is preferably formed in this cover surface and, in particular, in that section of the cover surface which projects beyond the mouth edge. It is possible that this cover surface is, for example, circular and thus protrudes symmetrically beyond the mouth edge. However, it would also be possible that the covering surface only in a region in the circumferential direction of the Mouth protrudes beyond the mouth edge and in this area, the second target opening portion is arranged.
  • the cover surface at least in one area on a pierceable or severable material. This means that an opening can be made in this area, without the cover surface being deformed in such a way that, moreover, the sealing effect is canceled out.
  • the container closure has a first sealing means in order to seal the covering means with respect to the mouth edge of the mouth.
  • the mouth region of the container may further comprise a sealing region, on which a fluid-tight seal between the container closure and the mouth region can take place.
  • a connection between the mouth portion and the mouth of the container can be done for example by welding, gluing or placing a sealing element such as an O-ring.
  • a sealing element such as an O-ring.
  • a gas passage cavity is formed.
  • under the sealing area is not the usual seal between the mouth edge and a closure.
  • this sealing region between the mouth of the container and the closure is designed such that it completely separates the two flow connections between the container and the environment of the container, which are mentioned above.
  • the container closure has a receiving area for receiving the mouth portion of the container and one of said openings is within this receiving area and the other in particular radial direction outside of this receiving area.
  • a liquid dispensing area is arranged in a cover wall of the container closure and particularly preferably in the center.
  • a liquid valve may be provided, to which optionally and preferably the above-mentioned riser followed.
  • this riser can be made flexible or rigid and preferably ranges in installation position to the bottom of the container. As mentioned, this riser serves on the one hand for liquid removal, on the other hand, it can also be used for filling serve the container.
  • the top wall, or the covering means does not necessarily have to have a liquid valve. It is also possible for the covering means to have a piercing region for a piercing fitting, on which a liquid dispensing line (in particular in the form of a dispensing line) is arranged, in which case the piercing region advantageously lies within a cross section of a riser.
  • the area of the liquid dispensing is advantageously just slightly smaller in diameter than the mouth inside diameter of the container or the mouth inside diameter is adapted to the required space requirement for the liquid dispensing system.
  • the covering means, or the top wall can at least partially seal in installation position with the mouth edge of the container and rest there. This leads optionally to a higher stability of the arrangement of the container and the lock locked thereto.
  • the second opening is preferably arranged in the covering means or the covering area.
  • the cross-section of the container closure is chosen to be larger than an opening cross-section of the liquid container, such that when the container container is placed or locked on the liquid container, a channel and, in particular, gas channel is formed around the mouth of the container at least partially and preferably completely.

  • this gas valve may be a fluid connection between the outer environment of the closure (including a Gas supply and -abtex Koch is to be understood) and create a cavity between the closure side wall and the mouth region of the container.
  • the gas supply and / or discharge area can also be so pronounced that no valve is used, but that a piercing area is provided for a piercing fitting.
  • the above-mentioned peripheral wall or side wall of the container closure is not necessarily cylindrical or formed with a circular cross-section. It may be sufficient that the side wall has an expression on which in particular the above-mentioned gas valve is arranged and which forms the said cavity. In this case, the above-mentioned gas channel does not completely surround the container closure, but only in a region of the circumference and in particular is arranged laterally next to the mouth edge of the container.
  • the container and / or the closure preferably have alignment elements.
  • alignment elements can function purely mechanically, in particular when the container closure is arranged on the container or else in a filling installation, for example by sensors, in which case alignment takes place through the respective treatment elements of the filling installation.

  • both are circular.
  • an alignment function to be generated by this sealing region itself, if the closure side wall is not cylindrical and has an expression for a valve, in particular a gas valve.
  • Said sealing area lies in the closure container arrangement preferably below the gas passage openings, wherein "below” refers to an upright container in which the mouth is directed upwards.
  • the cavity outside the neck region is at least so large that an arrangement for carrying compressed gas through the closure has sufficient space for its function.
  • the positioning and / or shape of the cavity to be formed outside of the neck region as well as the type and positioning of the liquid and gas transfer regions through the closure wall is also possible in a variety of other combinations and variants.
  • the invention can also be applied to containers which have a so-called liner.
  • a so-called liner This can, for example, be co-extruded or subsequently introduced into the finished container.
  • the said liner is introduced only after attaching the gas passages, so that the liner is not damaged in this process step.
  • the liner is attached to the throat area above the gas passage openings. It is particularly preferred that it is glued or welded to the neck area.
  • Such a liner may also be clamped through the closure receptacle assembly between the mouth edge and the closure.
  • the liner with the container closure and possibly arranged thereon riser is introduced into the container. In this case, the liner can already be attached to the closure and / or the riser and / or the valve.
  • the beverage can not pass through the gas outlet openings in the above-mentioned cavity between the mouth of the container and the closure side wall. Then, the arrangement or positioning of the gas passage openings in the container is no longer so essential. Also advantageous is the flexibility with regard to the pressure medium during the emptying process.
  • no product gas here for example CO 2 must be used, but it can also simply compressed air or even a liquid medium can be used.

  • Fig. 1 shows a representation of a container 10, on which a container closure 1 is arranged.
  • the container 10 in this case has a main body, which extends further below the figure here and a mouth portion 10a, to which also the closure 1 is arranged.
  • the container 10 has an annular portion 36, such as in particular a support ring, which also serves to lock the container closure 1 here.
  • the container closure 1 has a rear engagement section 46, which protrudes inward radially with respect to the support ring 36 and a longitudinal axis L of the container and thus enables a locking of the container closure 1.
  • the plastic container 10 has an opening or opening 32 in the mouth region 10a, as usual in the prior art.
  • the container 10 also has second openings 34, which are arranged here in a circumferential wall 30.
  • the container closure 1 here has a fastener denoted in its entirety by 6 in order to fasten the container closure 1 to the mouth portion 10a.
  • This fastener engages behind, as mentioned above, the support ring 36th
  • the reference numeral 8 indicates a covering means which, when the container closure is applied to the mouth 10a, substantially completely closes the mouth 32.
  • the reference numeral 44 denotes a first sealing means, which may for example be formed here as an O-ring which can be pressed against the mouth edge 30a of the mouth 10a.
  • the reference numeral 4 denotes a first opening which can be introduced into the cover 8. About this opening 4, the container liquid can be withdrawn. At this opening 4, a valve 40 can connect, via which the inflow or outflow From liquid or in the container can be controlled. In particular, this valve 40 can be opened by a removal fitting such as a tap head.
  • the reference numeral 12 denotes a desired opening portion, in which a further opening in the container closure 1 can be introduced. It can be seen that this desired opening section 12 lies outside a region of the container defined by the mouth 32 or its edge. At this desired opening portion 12, a cavity 22 connects, which surrounds the mouth portion 10a of the container 10 here.
  • the reference E1 denotes a first plane in which the opening 32 is arranged.
  • Reference E2 denotes a second plane in which the second opening is arranged. It can be seen that these two planes E1 and E2 are not parallel to one another and here are in particular perpendicular to one another.
  • the reference numeral 20 denotes a second valve device which is associated with the desired opening portion 12 and the opening formed thereby. In this way, a gas inlet or a gas removal from the container can be controlled.
  • the reference numeral 16 denotes a line section which adjoins the opening 4 and the valve 40. This line section can, as mentioned above, protrude into the container and in particular serve for its complete emptying.
  • Fig. 2 shows a further embodiment of a container closure according to the invention 1.
  • the two valve elements 20 and 40 are also provided again.
  • a fastening of the closure 1 via a thread 52 on a peripheral wall 30 of the mouth the container has an external thread 10d, which cooperates correspondingly with sections 52a, which are arranged on a container closure.
  • the reference numeral 10d correspondingly denotes a threaded portion which serves here for locking the container closure.
  • a rear engagement portion 55 may be provided, which may engage a portion of the container mouth.
  • the first and second openings 32, 34 are shown, in which case again via the opening 34, a gaseous medium in the container on or out of this container can be performed.
  • the reference numeral 42 again denotes a sealing device, which seals a seal of the cavity 22 surrounding the container mouth.
  • This serves the support ring 36 here as a sealing area.
  • the (gas) -passage openings 34 are arranged obliquely and in particular fall inwards, so that, as mentioned above, in the cavity 22 reaching liquid medium flows back into the container.
  • a gluing or welding of the closure to the support ring 36 would be possible, so as to effect the sealing.
  • the reference numeral 55 or the rear engagement device can also serve as quality assurance; that is, to prove whether a container has already been opened once.
  • this quality assurance feature can also be arranged such, for example, on a peripheral wall of the container closure, that it can engage behind the support ring and thereby represents a visible from the outside quality seal.
  • Fig. 3a and 3b show a further embodiment of a device according to the invention.
  • the two valves 20 and 40 are provided again, in this embodiment, the valve 40 is followed by an expanding body, via which the supply of liquid is facilitated in the container.
  • the locking of the closure 1 in turn takes place by engaging behind the support ring 36 of the container.
  • a riser 16 is provided and the circumferential cavity 22, via which the gas connection via the gas valve 20 is made.
  • Fig. 3b shows a plan view along in FIG Fig. 3a shown line AA. It can be seen here again, the liquid valve and the adjoining riser 16. Also here are the openings 34 can be seen.
  • the reference numeral 54 refers to a taper portion that adjoins the valve 40.
  • Fig. 4a and 4b show a further embodiment of a container according to the invention with container closure.
  • the cavity 22 is not formed circumferentially around the container mouth, but only in a portion which adjoins the opening 34.
  • the opening 34 is aligned in the said cavity 22, so that via the valve 20, a gas exchange is possible.
  • the container closure 1 has a circular disk 58 to arrange the container closure on the support ring 36, for example by gluing or welding.
  • FIG. 5 an illustration of a container 10 according to the invention is shown.
  • the openings 34 are also provided in the peripheral wall of the container and also the support ring 36 arranged below these openings 34, which, as mentioned above, in particular also for locking or locking Fixing or sealing of the closure 1 can serve.
  • the reference numeral 10b refers to a main body of the container, which serves here in particular for receiving liquids.
