Thanks to that control unit, the user can select by means of an external interface 30 for example between two different programs, one recommended for heavy garments, the other for light garments. For each program, according to what stated above, the control unit adjusts the opening of the walls 6, together with other process variables such as the temperature, being preferably lower in the light garments treatment.
  • the control unit it is possible to carry out the garments treatment by letting the opening of the walls 6 vary constantly: particularly, the opening can be let oscillate at a preset amplitude and frequency around a reference mean value. Such a treatment mode determines a better ironing result with certain garments.

Claims (7)

  1. Appareil de traitement pour vêtements (1) comprenant : une chambre de traitement (2) traversée par un trajet d'amenée (x) pour vêtements devant être traités ; des moyens de vaporisation et/ou de ventilation dotés de sorties de vapeur et/ou d'air (3) s'ouvrant sur deux parois opposées (6) se faisant face depuis le côté dudit trajet d'amenée (x) et toutes deux se rapprochant et s'écartant l'une de l'autre, de sorte à déterminer une largeur (L) de la chambre de traitement (2) traversée par le trajet d'amenée (x), caractérisé en ce que lesdites parois (6) ferment, sur le côté adjacent au trajet d'amenée (x), des modules de distribution respectifs (7) qui sont reliés, via un tuyau flexible, à une partie en aval desdits moyens de vaporisation et/ou de ventilation, lesdits modules de distribution (7) comprenant au moins une bouche d'entrée (7a) couplée au tuyau flexible et un trajet de distribution (7b) qui relie ladite bouche d'entrée (7a) auxdites sorties de vapeur et/ou d'air (3).
  2. Appareil de traitement (1) selon la revendication 1, comprenant en outre des moyens d'actionnement (5) pour déplacer une ou les deux desdites parois (6).
  3. Appareil de traitement (1) selon la revendication 2, dans lequel ledit moyen d'actionnement (5) comprend au moins un actionneur linéaire (5a) disposé parallèlement à la paroi (6) reliée à celui-ci, et relié à ladite paroi (6) au moyen d'un système de transmission angulaire.
  4. Appareil de traitement (1) selon la revendication 3, dans lequel ledit système de transmission angulaire est une transmission angulaire à chaîne et poulie (5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f).
  5. Appareil de traitement (1) selon l'une des revendications 2 à 4, comprenant une unité de commande pour les moyens d'actionnement (5), qui est apte à entraîner lesdits moyens d'actionnement afin d'obtenir sélectivement au moins deux largeurs prédéfinies (L1, L2) de la chambre de traitement (2).
  6. Appareil de traitement (1) selon la revendication 5, dans lequel ladite unité de commande est apte à entraîner ledit moyen d'actionnement de telle sorte que les parois (6) oscillent à une fréquence prédéfinie et une amplitude prédéfinie autour d'une position de référence.
  7. Appareil de traitement (1) selon l'une des revendications précédentes, comprenant une chaîne d'amenée (20) pour les vêtements devant être traités le long d'un trajet d'amenée (x) qui est sélectivement configurable pour disposer les vêtements devant être amenés dans une configuration épaule contre épaule ou dans une configuration devant-derrière.
