Abstract
L'invention concerne un connecteur (1, 2, 3, 4), lequel comprend au moins un boîtier (5) pourvu d'au moins une zone de connexion étendue longitudinalement permettant d'établir une liaison de connexion avec un autre connecteur (1, 2, 3, 4) dans une direction d'enfichage (6). La zone de connexion comprend au moins un contact à fiche (7) électrique et/ou optique destiné à établir au moins une liaison électrique et/ou optique avec l'autre connecteur (1, 2, 3, 4) et au moins un étage (8) entre la zone de connexion et le reste du boîtier (9) du connecteur. Le boîtier (5) du connecteur est réalisé d'une seule pièce et la zone de connexion présente un contour extérieur (10), le contour extérieur (10), à part ses extrémités frontales, (11, 12), vues dans la direction d'enfichage, est exempt d'évidements (13) sur toute son étendue longitudinale dans la direction d'enfichage (6) ou, en présence d'au moins un évidement (13), il s'étend respectivement dans une direction parallèle à la direction d'introduction (6) au moins jusqu'à une des extrémités frontales (11, 12) du contour extérieur (10).
