Definitions

  • the invention relates to a label for certifying a document.
  • stamp imprints, seals and other test and guarantee signs are in use, which the authenticity of the document or the effectiveness of the thus confirmed permission or other measure officially confirm.
  • stamps, seals and other markings of the TÜV on vehicle licenses, driver's licenses or certificates for the special exhaust gas examination are mentioned here; also stamps and other certification marks for identity cards, passports or access authorizations of certain persons to buildings or for any other government or other issued permits, certificates or certificates.
  • Such seals are out DE 100 20 556 A1 .
  • DE 103 04 795 A1 and DE 20 2010 007 019 U1 are known and are also called transfer labels, since they are intended for transferring or transferring the print image to exactly one specific document.
  • some transfer labels have a grip tab which consists of a part of, for example, a front-side top film, which protrudes laterally beyond the actual seal transfer region, which is referred to here as the first label section. Not only the laterally protruding grip tab, but the top foil as a whole is discarded after transferring the label seal to the document.
  • Other transfer labels have above a first film, which also sets the punching contour for the layers of the actual seal, nor a second film that protrudes laterally above the first film on this and also serves as a positioning aid, but is subsequently also discarded.
  • the seals or other test marks applied with the aid of transfer labels can be counted by placing consecutive numbering or, in any case, an individual identification which is different from comparable seals in the transfer label for the respective seal.
  • an individual identification which is different from comparable seals in the transfer label for the respective seal.
  • the printed image for the mark may still have a serial number representing the individual seal different from all other seals.
  • DE 10 2004 032 490 A1 relates to a label with which a puncture opening of a syringe cannula is sealable.
  • the label thus serves not as a seal transfer label to certify the authenticity of a document, but as Clusteröffungsnachweis an injectate vial.
  • U1 relates to a seal transfer label usable as, for example, a vehicle badge.
  • a plurality of seal transfer labels are peelably adhered to a common carrier sheet over which they protrude slightly laterally to facilitate removal prior to use.
  • the common carrier film has a perforation, which is shown by a dashed line and allows easier bending up of the protruding edges of the labels.
  • the seal transfer labels themselves have no perforation.
  • the label should be as simple and inexpensive to produce.
  • a second label section arranged laterally thereof which has a multiple function since it acts as a grip tab during the dispensing of the test mark serves, but then as an independent documentation part for sticking to another object is usable.
  • the second label section has a layer structure which, in addition to the upper film, which is preferably a transparent plastic film, furthermore comprises a back-side adhesive layer and is to be provided with a printing at the latest immediately before the label is dispensed.
  • the printing can be arranged on a reverse side of the adhesive layer facing away from the film or between the adhesive layer and the transparent film; for example in an intermediate layer or on or under it or as an independent printing between these layers.
  • Belebeiketten are so far only in certain printing labels commonly used in which the printed image of the label is provided in an upper part of the layer structure, and usually completely outside on the top.
  • transfer labels with a printed label are not yet known.
  • the label proposed here is also formed in the second label section as a layer composite, but on the other hand comes with only a single film or a single punching pattern, which allows a simple, cost-effective and also environmentally friendly production and dispensing.
  • a film or plastic film is here referred to a layer of material, which has its own, as well as a mere coating own sufficient rigidity and / or dimensional stability and clearly defined, in particular hard and smooth boundary surfaces at its two major surfaces.
  • the film used for the label is transparent, consists of a suitable plastic such as PET and serves as a top film or main or cover sheet, which allows viewing and reading of the test mark and, if necessary, its beautician from above.
  • the transparent cover sheet thus defines, independently of the later orientation of the label or the test mark transferred therefrom, a label top side or front side from which the test mark is visible and readable.
  • the layer structure of the label in the first label section is designed so that a back part of the first label section in which the test mark is formed is separated from the transparent film when the label is removed from a document to be documented and thus adheres to the document.
  • the label is thus formed in the first label portion so that for transferring the seal or other mark on a document, a back portion of the first label portion comprising the seal or other mark from a front portion of the first label portion, the at least the transparent film includes, is removable.
  • the upper region of the first label section which essentially comprises the film, as well as the layer composite of the label in the second label section, can then be further used to label another article, for example a file or other documentary document, with the second label section.
  • the second label section can be a continuous number or other individual identification of the label, which is preferably also contained in identical or at least the same content form at the same time in the first label section, simple and inexpensive and above all error-free transferred to the other object. A faulty note of the number of the awarded seal by hand is unnecessary.
  • the number and identity of the seals or other marks awarded can be reliably tracked with the help of the labels proposed here, for example by the manufacturer or supplier of the labels or by the issuing authority.
  • the markings contained on the second label section of the labels used can be scanned and / or recorded in a database.
  • the second label section is thus except as a grip tab for transferring the seal also as a self-adhesive documentation part and information carrier for automated reading of the identification numbers spent seals used.
  • the label-specific identification number may also be printed in a larger or more easily readable form than in the first label portion provided with the seal, optionally with or without overlap with possibly colored background printing or with other open or hidden security features of the documentation part.
  • the individual markings and / or the other labeling parts may optionally be arranged overlapping or alternatively without overlapping with a background printing and / or with open security features.
  • the label proposed here can be realized with a very simple layer structure and, moreover, from a uniform stamping pattern;
  • the second label section (if necessary, including a rear-side carrier layer still present there) serves as a grip tab.
  • the transparent upper film remaining there can subsequently even be used as a grip tab in order to position and deposit the second label section on a documentation base or other object. Only then are both label sections torn apart and the part of the top film originating from the first label section discarded.
  • the first film section thus has a double function; it serves as a protective film of the seal before and during the transfer to the document to be certified and then as a grip for the usable as a documentation part second label section.
  • Such a multiple function of both film parts is not provided so far.
  • less waste material accumulates, which in conjunction with the single-layer label construction with only a single plastic film affords a particularly environmentally friendly label that can more easily meet the REACH and other hazardous materials and environmental regulations.
  • the label proposed here has a peelable carrier film under both label sections, so that the second label section can initially be used as a grip tab for transferring the seal, but can also be dispensed as a separate label for documentation purposes after the carrier foil has been removed; This is made possible by a perforation which is formed between the two label sections at least in the upper film.
  • FIG. 1 shows a schematic plan view of a label according to an exemplary embodiment with respect to the contour or label base. It's the front 10a of the label 10, which is formed for example by a film 1 of transparent plastic such as PET.
  • the label 10 has a first label portion 11 and a second label portion 12.
  • the first label portion 11 forms or contains the printed image of a seal 15, stamp or other test mark 25.
  • the base surface of the first label portion 11 is approximately circular disk-shaped, wherein the peripheral or edge region may be jagged or otherwise provided with projections to counterfeiting or other manipulation attempts difficult.
  • the seal 15 or other test mark 25 may be, for example, a crest, logo or other graphic symbol and also a text component 24 (in FIG.
  • ABS-XYZ a date or validity period indicating the subject matter of the notarization, the issuing authority, and / or a date or validity period.
  • These elements may be part of a printing, which are preferably arranged in the interior or on the back of the first label section 11.
  • the printing 5 also contains an individual marking 16 of this specific seal or of the individual label 10 provided therewith, for example a bar code and / or a number imprint (in FIG FIG. 1 exemplified as a multi-digit, eg six-digit number "003158" a continuous number series).
  • a bar code, QR code or other scannable code can be provided, which was awarded only once, namely for exactly this single label.
  • a set having a plurality of such labels may contain, besides the uniformly formed text components 24, in particular the seal 15 or test mark 25, also label-specific, different individual identifiers 16 with which the individual labels can be distinguished from one another.
  • the procurement practice in particular the number and number of produced, delivered or dispensed labels can be tracked.
  • the test marks issued with the aid of the labels can thus be identified on the basis of their individual identification, and their authenticity can also be verified with the aid of a database.
  • the second label portion 12 of the label 10 may be used, which is otherwise required only as a grip tab 22 for positioning and gluing the seal, but here is designed as a separate documentation part.
  • the second label section 12 is also provided with a label or printing 5 and formed on the back side adhesive. Both label sections 11, 12 are separable from each other; For this purpose, a perforation 13 or other weakening line 23 is provided between them. This is formed at least in the transparent plastic film 1, preferably also in all underlying layers of the label; it can also be used in an underlying carrier layer 9 (FIG. FIG. 2 ), which is used for packaging a plurality of labels, be formed.
  • the carrier layer 9 is for example a paper web or a siliconized backing paper or a siliconized backside plastic film that carries one or more labels and protrudes over all or part of the label edge or over the entire edge of the label.
  • a label set consisting of a plurality of labels may include a plurality of carrier sheets each having one or a few labels, or alternatively one or more carrier web rolls loaded with labels.
  • a transition region or bridge region 14 may be provided in the vicinity of the weakening line 23 or perforation 13; depending on the desired outer contour of the first and / or second label section 11, 12.
  • the layer structure may be formed, for example, as in one of the two label sections 11, 12;
  • the layer structure in the bridge region 14 can be designed in regions as in the first and in some regions as in the second label section. For ease of illustration, no separate bridge area is shown in the following figures, but only the position of the perforation or weakening line 13; 23 indicated.
  • the contour of the label 10 in FIG. 1 is only an example; between the two label sections 11, 12 no constriction needs to be present. Furthermore, the contour of the first label section instead of circular, for example, be rectangular or otherwise designed. On at least one side of the edge of the first label section 11, the second label section 12 is detachably connected. In use of the label 10, a rear, ie, lower part of the first label portion is first severed by tearing the remainder of the label thereof, and thereafter the remaining front portion of the first label portion 11 is torn off the second label portion 12, as shown below of the FIGS. 2 to 5 is explained.
  • FIG. 2 shows a merely exemplary embodiment with regard to the layer structure of a label 10. Its base can, as in FIG. 1 or deviating from it (eg as in FIG. 6A . 7A or 7B ) be designed.
  • FIG. 2 shows the cross-sectional view through the label 10 in the region of both label sections 11, 12; a serving below the label 10 for packaging carrier layer 9 is only indicated by dashed lines.
  • the carrier layer 9 may, for example, a sheet or a roll, ie a carrier layer for Be sheet or sheet or alternatively for roll goods and is siliconized from its top or otherwise designed to reduce adhesion, so that the actual transfer label is easily removable from the provided for confectioning carrier layer.
  • the transfer label also contains therein a (further) non-stick layer to detach a lower portion of the layer structure of the transfer seal containing the seal or mark from a discardable upper portion of the layer structure of the transfer seal.
  • the lower, ie rear, part of the layer structure of the transfer label provided with the seal or test mark is located between an upper part of the layer structure of the transfer label and the carrier foil arranged for fabrication on the back side of the transfer label.
  • a plastic film 1 which is transparent, ie transparent to visible light and extends over the base of both label sections 11, 12. Irrespective of the later orientation of the label or of parts thereof, the transparent film 1 intentionally defines the front side 10a of the label 10, from which the label of the respective label part 11, 12 can be read or detected by means of a scanner, mobile phone or other device.
  • the first label section 11 of the transfer label is pressed onto a document to be certified and the second label section 12 removed from the document as a grip tab, the first label section 11 breaks into two parts due to the nature of the transfer label apart, namely in a lower, ie back portion 11 a, which contains the seal or other marks and remains on the surface of the labeled document, and in an upper, ie front-side portion 11 b, which comprises at least the transparent film and first - to the manual Tearing the perforation 13 - remains connected to the second label section 12.
  • the layer structure of the label 10 may be different in both surface regions or label sections 11, 12; it may be such that the lower, rear-adhesive part 11a provided with the seal 15 or test mark 25 is initially separated on its own.
  • FIG. 2 This is achieved by providing a preferably transparent non-stick layer 3, which is arranged in the first label section 11 or completely fills its base area, but is recessed in the second label section.
  • the non-stick layer 3 is for example a silicone layer or a Silicone paint, which is applied to the back of the transparent film, that is adjacent to this.
  • the non-stick layer 3 extends to the transition between the two label sections 11, 12, ie approximately to the perforation 13 or weakening line 23.
  • the second label section 12, however, is free of a non-stick coating 3 between the film 1 and the adhesive layer 8.
  • the label 10 has on its rear side 10b an adhesive layer 8 (adhesive film) which extends over the base area of both label sections 11, 12 and preferably occupies the entire label base area.
  • an intermediate layer in particular a protective layer 4, may be provided, which is arranged between the transparent film 1 and the adhesive layer 8; it forms the intended front of the dispensed Ard Joness or the top layer of the back-side portion 11a of the first label portion 11, as soon as it is separated and transferred to the document.
  • the protective layer 4 is also transparent; it is for example a non-adhesive film made of a plastic, a lacquer or other material and is preferably easier to deform than the comparatively thick plastic film 1 (The layer thicknesses in the figures are, however, exaggerated and are not necessarily to scale).
  • FIG. 2 The non-stick layer 3 and the protective layer 4 directly adjoin one another.
  • the left in FIG. 2 indicated by an arrow the first label section 11 tears apart into two parts as intended, but starting from the opposite edge of the first label section 11.
  • the second label section 12 where the perforation 13 is arranged and / or the inner, facing her edge of the non-stick layer 3 runs.
  • the label 10 is pressed onto the document to be documented by the seal, at least in the area of its first label section 11.
  • a carrier layer 9, which is initially attached on the underside, is removed from the back of the label, for example only in the region of the first label section 11.
  • the perforation 13 or weakening line 23 of the transition region can therefore also be found in the carrier layer 9 be formed; the carrier film then remains full surface (instead of FIGS. 6C and 6D only part of the area) under the second label section 12.
  • the layer structure of the layer composite can, depending on the embodiment of FIG. 2 differ.
  • additional layers may be provided and the imaged and / or additional layers may include security features.
  • a second adhesive layer may be provided, which however is formed only in the second label section 12, but is missing or recessed in the first label section 11. This second adhesive layer is then arranged above the rear adhesive layer 8 or the protective layer 4 arranged above it to the film 1 and secures the cohesion of the layer structure exclusively in the second label section 12.
  • the layer structure of the layer composite of the first label section can also be designed so that the release layer remains on the separation of the lower, rear part 11a at this as its uppermost layer.
  • FIG. 3 shows the remaining on the document document 30 remaining back part 11a of the first label portion 11 after the remaining part of the label 10 has been separated by grasping and peeling off the second label member 12 serving as a grip tab 22.
  • the adhesive layer 8 now adheres to the surface of the document 30.
  • the protective layer 4 protects the seal 15 or test mark 25 of this label part 11a from above.
  • the printing 5 is arranged, which includes the seal 15 or scholar Dr 25, the unified text component 24 and / or the individual marking 16.
  • the printing 5 can in principle also be arranged on the underside of the adhesive layer 8, it is preferably incorporated in the manufacture of the label into the interior of its layer composite, ie realized as an internal printing.
  • security features are also present on the label 10, in particular on the detachable or separable lower part 11a of the first label section 11, which is intended for dispensing onto a document 30.
  • FIG. 1 in which the plan view is shown, in each case one open, ie immediate visible security feature 26 and a hidden, ie hidden or hidden security feature 27 in the region of the label part 11a indicated.
  • the security feature (s) are preferably located within the laminate of the label.

  • a fluorescent varnish or other monochrome or multicolor luminescent materials e.g. appropriate pigments or (rare) earths be provided; These can be excitable under different light sources or wavelengths.
  • the open security features of the second label portion 12 are identified as 26 'and the hidden security features of the second label portion 12 are identified as 27'.
  • the second label portion 12 may include, for example, those open security features 26 'and / or hidden security features 27' that have been enumerated above as exemplary security features 26 and 27 of the first label portion 11, respectively.
  • the second label portion 12 does not need to have all and not the same security features that the first label portion 11 or its separable portion 11a has, but may also have other security features or other security feature choices.
  • both the first and second label sections may optionally have only one or more open security features and / or only one or more hidden security features 26, 27 and 26 ', 27', respectively.
  • first and / or the second label section optionally only has open security features or only hidden security features.

  • a tilting color or a hologram may be formed uniformly in both label sections 11, 12 or, alternatively, provided on both label sections 11, 12, but configured such that elements of the security feature of the first label section 11 and elements of the security feature of the first label section 12 mutually complete. In both cases, it can be checked by comparison with the eye, for example by superimposing or juxtaposing both label sections 11, 12, whether the seal or the separable part 11a and the documentation part 12 originate from the same label 10, i. belong together or in any case are assigned or assigned to each other.
  • the security features may overlap with the lettering or with other areas of the respective label section; for example, they may be underground or background beneath or around the individual tag 16; 17; 18 or other printed inscription parts 24, 25 of the respective label section may be provided.
  • the in FIG. 3 illustrated label part 11a embodies the finished seal or test mark, with the authenticity or validity of the document 30 is confirmed.
  • the remaining part of the label 10 is discarded so far, especially since the protruding part, which forms the second label portion, conventionally consists only of the transparent plastic film 1 and serves only as a grip tab.
  • the second label portion is further usable as shown FIG. 4 evident.
  • the second label section 12 (after removal of the carrier film or support layer 9) is glued to another documentary pad or other object 40 to which at least the marking 16 specific to this copy of the label or seal is to be applied.

  • FIG. 6D shows the cross-sectional view after lifting the label 10 of the support layer 9.
  • the label 10 has a layer structure such as based FIG. 2 explained. In the Figures 6C and 6D the layer structure is no longer shown separately; only the carrier layer 9 on the underside of the label 10 and its rear adhesive layer 8 is marked.
  • FIG. 6A In both label sections 11, 12 a label-specific, individual marking 16 is provided.
  • the first label section 11 also contains the Urkunds Lake 15 and 25th
  • the perforation 13 or weakening line 23 between the two label sections 11, 12 extends through the label 10 or part of its layer thickness, but in any case not through the carrier layer 9 ( Figures 6C and 6D ).
  • the label 10 is arranged on a carrier layer 9 (liner, optionally a carrier film made of plastic, a paper web or a paper sheet) or comprises the carrier layer 9, which according to this development within the base area of the second label section 12 a bordered by a punching line 21, from The surface area of the carrier layer 9 has separated surface area 19.
  • the punching line 21 cuts through the carrier layer 9, but is not formed in the label 10 above the carrier layer 9 or in the label layers 1, 4, 8 arranged above the carrier layer 9.
  • the punching line extends at least in sections or even completely within the surface area of the second label section 12 and therefore surrounds a surface piece 19 of the carrier layer 9 which is lifted out of the carrier layer 9 when the label is lifted off or removed and on the rear side the adhesive layer 8 sticks.
  • the surface portion 19 of the carrier layer 9 serves as a contrast surface for the example black or colored marking 16 of the transparent second label portion 12.
  • the label 16 can be independent of the color of the documentation or the other object 40 to which the second label section 12 is applied, read or scan with sufficiently high contrast (In all embodiments of the application and in particular of the figures, by the way, all explicitly illustrated layers 1, 3, 4, 8 with the exception of the ink layer 5 are preferably transparent, and they are furthermore preferably colorless).
  • 6D apprehended Label 10 can be gripped on the second label portion 12 and initially handled as a grip tab for dispensing the rear portion 11a of the first label portion 11 without having to remove a remaining portion of the carrier layer 9 again. Thereafter, the second label portion 12 can be glued together with the surface portion 19 of the support layer 9 on the article 40, since the base of the second label portion 12 at least partially - or as shown even on all sides - laterally beyond the surface portion 19 of the support layer 9 protrudes (the layer thickness of Carrier layer 9 and its surface portion 19 is shown exaggeratedly large for better visibility).
  • FIGS. 7A and 7B show two developments in which the label 10 has two second label sections 12 ', 12 "and two first label sections 11', 11".
  • These modified embodiments are suitable for applications in which per label or for each serial number in each case a pair or even larger plurality of document parts 12 ', 12 "or label seals 11', 11" for sticking to a corresponding number of documentation documents 40th and / or documents 30 is needed.
  • FIG. 8 shows an alternative embodiment of a label 10, in contrast to FIG. 2 the non-stick layer 3 (and preferably also the protective layer 4) is formed not only in the first, but also in the second label section 12.
  • the second label section 12 also has a rear part 12a which can be separated from the film 1 and which, instead of the entire second label section 12, is intended to be transferred to a document or other object 40; the part 12a tears in the amount of in FIG. 8 from the anti-adhesive layer 3, but starting from the opposite edge of the second label section 12, where between the two label sections 11, 12 the weakening line 23, in particular in the form of a punching line 21 'in the carrier layer 9 is formed.
  • the film 1 is discarded as a whole after also the back label portion 12a has been peeled off.
  • the label comprises a back support layer 9, in the area between the first label portion 11 and the second label portion 12 by a punching line 21 ', perforation 13 or other weakening line 23 is interrupted in such a way that when the carrier layer 9 (or its first portion 9a) is pulled off the part of the adhesive layer 8 located in the first label section 11, the carrier layer 9 tears apart in the region between the two label sections and the carrier layer 9 (or the remaining, second section 9b) in the region of the second label section 12 adheres to the adhesive layer 8.
  • first the second section 9b of the carrier layer 9 in the region of the second label section 12 is peeled off before the lower, back-adhesive part 12a of the second label section 12 (documentation part) touches another object 40 is dispensed.
  • the transferred thereon part 12a of the second label portion 12 includes, for example, the adhesive layer 8, the protective layer 4 and corresponding, also derived from the second label portion 12 parts of the printing 5, in particular those printing parts 16; 17; 18 for individually marking the second label portion 12.
  • the film 1 is eventually discarded altogether.
  • the label 10 described with reference to the figures preferably has a uniform punching pattern over its entire layer thickness.
  • the course of the perforation 13 or other weakening line 23 may be predetermined by the over the entire layer thickness of the label 10 uniform punch patterns.
  • At least a lower part of the first label section 11 and the second label section 12 are tear-off from each other.
  • the second label section 12 forms an independent documentation part which can be dispensed separately from the seal 15 or other test mark 25, in particular only after the dispensing of the seal 15 or test mark 25 itself can be dispensed.
  • the rear-side part 11a of the first label section 11 and a part of the second label section 12 which can be dispensed as an independent documentation part can be connected to one another at least via the front-side transparent film 1.
  • the perforation or weakening line between the two label sections can also be formed in the transparent cover layer or film. Under certain circumstances, the transparent film instead of not only in places, but interrupted over its entire length of the perforation or line of weakness through this.
  • the perforation or weakening line can also be entirely recessed in the region of the boundary between the two surface regions or label sections, ie extend only along the circumference or outer edge of the entire transfer label; so that after dispensing the seal or test mark both label sections are particularly tightly connected.
